What about this Empirical "Genuine Support Phenomena" Experiment:

You own a site and you are very pro active activist doing all kinds of stuff for free ... all volentary work, efforts, studying, labor, counseling, translating stuff, managing sites forums fb groups, fighting all kinds of injustice etc. etc.) ... if you would have been payed for all you did last years you would be beyond "average" but for now, you are not.

If you, one day, decide that you want to be supported by people that ACTUALLY want to do the same as you do but have NO TIME for it and really appreciate your work & efforts ... those people even feel like you do ... totally resonate why you are fighting corporations, censorship, fakestream MSM media, exposing all kinds of corruption & injustice etc ... those people may WANT to help you continue your efforts as good as you possible can and appreciate already what you have done last years.

Those supporters DO exists! To be sure, you want to put that "genuine support phenomena" to the test:

On your site you can create 4 color donation buttons:

Button 1. (Blue) ... Click here to donate money to support my (our) efforts without the need I (we) explain exactly where, when, what it is spent for. Even if it is only used to be alive ... to eat, to pay rent ... does not matter ... you see already I (we) worked/produced so much for free (voluntary work etc.) that you want me (us) to continue our efforts.

Button 2. (Red) ... Click here to donate money to support my (our) efforts WITH the need I (we) explain exactly where, when, what it is spent for. How much & why. Also you want to know it in advance what you can expect where it will be used for. 100% Accountability!

Button 3. (Green) ... Click here to donate money to support my (our) efforts but you want some influence and be part of what the priorities are. That all big donators can be part of a internal poll what to do first for example.

Button 4. (Purple) ... Click here to donate money to support my (our) efforts but you want to be a "sponsor" promotion & advertisements that is related to our (my) cause and the adds / promotion must not be a hoax or a scam.

Now when you do this (semi-psychological) empirical test, having all stats ready after a month ... you can see/study exactly how many CARE to know what you do with the received donation money ... and how many just trust you no matter what, even if you only use it for food or to pay rent ... they do not mind. Now if this is the case ... should others whine/complain/be angry about that fact?

You do things NOT because you have high expectations of how others act & react ... you do things certain way because you feel, sense it is the RIGHT WAY no matter how it is received or how ill some people can be! ... Results driven activism CAN be very addictive if you have success BUT it must not be your core reason to do so! (it is a spiritual battle as well). See yourself as planting seeds of considerations for the uninformed. If others are incompetent to ACT accordingly could have 100s of reasons ... eventually when reality unfolds you have the truth on your side and will be vindicated anyway. Do not underestimate the long-term effect of lots of "insiders" (key-people) who are on your side but NOT yet been able to do something now but eventually will!
