Compartmentalized thinking: lecture by Robert Sapolsky

Here's a really good lecture by Robert Saplosky on the fallacies of the compartmentalized thinking, they way most of us learn how to think.

In watching I couldn't help but at some point be brought to the "political" rhetoric and alignments that tend to cause strife everywhere (not here though! ) and how this is primarily a result of compartmentalized thinking and how everyone participating in it tends to only believe that an issue exists "out there" and has nothing to do with them. I only watched the first half so far but it was so good I had to post it early.

It's a general introduction lecture to a "human behaviour" class or something, nothing really about politics - it a lot more than that, but it is incredibly good, thorough, and concise (he moves through ideas quickly - you have to pay attention).
