Like the Tic Tac encounter, these were well-observed and recorded incidents of encounters with objects that should not have existed.

Alejandro Rojas with UFO Updates, Kent Senter, longtime UFO researcher from North Carolina discusses some amazing encounters in his past, his monumental conference in 2013 and much more.

KENT SENTER was raised in Northern Virginia in Falls Church just outside of Wash DC until his senior year in HS when his family moved to NC. Kent had childhood sightings in Virginia and interesting conversations with high ranking military and government friends who lived in the neighborhood. In the late 50's and 60's, it seemed like everyone in the DC area was either military or worked for the government. Later while living in NC, after the Lumberton NC sighting in April 1975 and Durham NC sighting around 1985, he met and became friends with George Fawcett who was a longtime researcher and writer on the subject. The two started the NC Chapter for MUFON in the late 80's and Kent was a state section director and an investigator until the late 90's. Kent left MUFON NC due to his job relocation and was out of the UFO news for awhile. After learning he had multiple myeloma cancer in 2009 and given months to live, he decided to start researching the topic again and in 2013, started the Center for UFO Research North Carolina. He hosted an International conference that same year and also hosted a smaller conference in 2016 with Travis Walton, Thom Reed, Nick Redfern and himself as speakers. Kent continues to receive communications about sightings and follow up investigations through his Facebook page. He is part of a small group who meets occasionally to discuss the topic. He currently do speaking engagements and a few radio/podcast shows (Erica Lukes, Tim Beckley, and Brent Raynes) and have been slowly working on a book for the last 3 years about this phenomena.

The Isle Of Man's First UFO Sighting?

In November 1902 the Manx newspapers printed a report of 'a thing like a big wheel of fire' hovering over a man for a short time before shooting off and then disappearing.

Reading it today, it appears to be the Isle of Man's first UFO sighting.
If so, then it is only the second such sighing in the entirety of the British Isles.

Zodiacal Light

The zodiacal light, a celestial event occurring in both the spring and autumn. It appears as “pyramid-shaped beam of light” that “can easily be mistaken for the lights of a far-off city.”
It can look so bright that on this side of Earth it is sometimes called “false dusk” in the spring, when it appears shortly after sunset, and “false dawn” in autumn, when its light can be seen in the early morning.

The world's ancient myths are built on a foundation of celestial metaphor: virtually all the characters and episodes correspond to specific constellations and their heavenly cycles.

But the constellations have characteristics in this system which relate to realities in the invisible realm, the infinite realm . . . the realm of the gods.

The stories are not simply "based on the constellations" -- the celestial metaphor originates in the unseen realm, which is then mapped onto the constellations which, because they themselves occupy an "infinite realm" -- the heavens above -- are perfect for helping us to "see" the realities of that Invisible Realm.

In this video, I use some aspects of the myth of Perseus, Medusa, and the Gorgons to demonstrate that the details of the story originate in the celestial realm -- but that beyond their correspondence to the constellations in the night sky, the figures in this well-known myth convey powerful truths regarding our own situation in this incarnate life, and our relationship to the realm of the infinite, which is in fact always present, and always available, and indeed absolutely necessary to us as we navigate the pitfalls of life in the material plane.

No One Agrees What It Means For A Planet To Be “Habitable”

A little less than a month ago, scientists announced that water vapor had been spotted in the atmosphere of K2-18b, an exoplanet 110 light-years away. Crucially, the planet was in its star’s “habitable zone” (the region around a star that’s temperate enough for liquid surface water, sometimes referred to as the “Goldilocks zone”). But the use of that phrase is pretty controversial. Though humans certainly couldn’t live on K2-18b, there is little agreement among experts about whether some form of extreme microbial life could be found there. It might have been in the “habitable zone,” but no one could agree whether K2-18b was truly “habitable” or not.

A UFO reportedly crashed near a small Canadian fishing village in the 1960s. Now, the Shag Harbour incident is being commemorated by the Royal Canadian Mint.
The Canadian government has issued a limited edition glow-in-the-dark coin to commemorate one of Canada’s most important historical events: a UFO crash.

The Royal Canadian Mint has produced 4000 coins commemorating an event where the townspeople and fishermen of Shag Harbour witnessed a large luminous object crash into the water just off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada.
