Next week, watch for the waxing crescent Moon in your western sky after sunset. On June 22-23 the Moon will be near Pollux and Castor, the brightest stars of the Gemini constellation.
On the evening of June 25, look to the west, to see the Waxing Crescent Moon and the bright star Regulus. Regulus is the brightest star in the constellation Leo, and the 21st-brightest star to light up the night sky.
On June 26th, you will find the Moon sitting between Regulus and Denebola.
Denebola is the second brightest star in the constellation Leo the Lion.
