A Waxing Gibbous Moon & Antares

On July 1 and 2, 2020 let the Moon introduce you to Antares. Antares is a red supergiant star. Any red-looking star that you can see with the unaided eye is either a red giant or red supergiant star.

This star, which is in the autumn of its years, is expected to explode as a supernova one of these days. No telling when that will be, however. It could happen tomorrow or a million years from now.

If Antares replaced the Sun in our solar system its circumference would extend beyond the orbit of Mars.

Antares is the brightest star in the constellation Scorpius the Scorpion. The red supergiant lies about 600 light-years from the Earth.

How did our Galaxy form? Is there only one way to form a spiral galaxy like ours, or can they form in different ways? And what role does the mysterious dark matter play in galaxy formation? One way to address these key questions is through the forensic, star-by-star analysis of nearby galaxies. By treating each star as a fossil of galactic evolution, we can piece together a road-map for how the beautiful spiral galaxies of the Universe are produced. In this talk, I’ll discuss what we know about the formation and evolution of the Milky Way and Andromeda, and how Galactic Archaeology can help us better understand the formation of all spiral galaxies.

The solar nebular hypothesis of standard cosmology tells us that gravitational collapse and accretion are the processes that lead to the creation of planets and stars—formative processes that occur over countless eons of time.

In contrast, the Electric Universe model and plasma cosmology propose that the electromagnetic phenomenon called the Z-pinch, (also called zeta pinch or Bennett pinch after Willard Harrison Bennett 1903-1987), which is known as a dominant organizational phenomenon in the cosmos.

On March 8th, 1994, civilians in western Michigan on the edge of Lake Michigan called 911 en masse about strange lights in the sky, described as mostly cylindrical, moving up and down in altitude, and having a vertical row of lights on them. They appeared to be coordinated, as one caller described them as moving in a circle.

This was backed up by a National Weather Service radar operator in Muskegon, MI, who was contacted by the 911 dispatcher and asked to look into it. In the tapes in this episode, which are in the public domain, you can hear the NWS official remark at the anomalous and possibly coordinated behavior of the objects, which he reported moved together in a triangle.

He states they were not storms or aircraft, and as time passes, he becomes gradually more distressed, as highlighted by the subtitle overlay.

Interestingly, Project Blue Book had several interesting cases in this area of Michigan, including several that civilians described as "metallic," but USAF officials deemed them astronomical in nature or insufficient data for analysis.

Schoolyard UFO Encounters Part One: Sightings

All across the world, schools are being targeted by UFOs. More than 100 documented cases are on record. These are typically long lasting, low level, daylight encounters viewed by large groups of witnesses. Something very profound is happening here.

This video is Part One of a two-part presentation on the history of schoolyard UFO encounters on our planet. Why are UFOs targeting schools? What happens when a UFO hovers over a school playground and is viewed by hundreds of witnesses, including teachers?

The cases shown here will answer these questions and more.

Part One covers dozens of sightings, starting as early as 1853 and continuing to the present day. There are cases of UFOs hovering at extremely low levels, sometimes causing panic on the playground. There are cases involving photographs and moving films. Two cases involve physical evidence in the form of angel hair. In some cases, there is a strong government response.

And this is just the beginning! While the sightings are amazing enough, even more astonishing are the many cases of landings and humanoids. Astronaut UFO Sightings Mysteriously Removed From Government UFO Study; Here They Are

For twenty-two years, from 1947 – 1969, the United States Air Force ran a trifecta of UFO research programs known as Projects Sign, Grudge and Blue Book. The public is most familiar with the latter of the three, undoubtedly due to the success of a History Channel series by the same name. However, lesser known to non-UFO-aficionados, is why those studies ended. That was due to a near fifteen-hundred page report generated by what was known as the Condon Committee, which convened from 1966-1968 at the University of Colorado, to evaluate whether the further study of UFOs was worth it. Spoiler alert: they concluded UFOs were not worth the time. However, something strange has happened to that report over the years. A chunk of it went missing within the main government agency that disseminates it.

Exoplanet The Size Of Neptune Discovered By Astronomers

An exoplanet the size of Neptune has been discovered around the young star AU Microscopii, thanks in part to the work of Jonathan Gagné, a former iREx Banting postdoctoral researcher who is now a scientific advisor at the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium.

Astrophysicists have been searching for exoplanets in this system, a unique laboratory for studying planetary formation, for more than a decade. The breakthrough, announced today in Nature, was made possible in part by NASA’s TESS and Spitzer space telescopes.
