rgray, thank you! and I'm sorry to hear of the misfortune of these individuals.

my take is this, yes there is a virus, yes it will kill and injure people and is doing so. . i suppose that could be said for swine flu, MERS , and all the other influenzas. so its a matter of degree.

my problem is the lying, the fudging of covid numbers , the $$ incentives to label slipping in the tub as covid, the politicization , the shaming, the hypocrisy such as shown by Gov Gavin Newsome at dinner, the lack of common sense , hoards of people wearing masks while alone in their car? and all the rest of the insanity that has gone on with this.

the censorship of the many accredited doctors with alt prevention, cures, and the rest such as hydroxy C. and all the natural remedies.

if we were really in a desperate search for a solution, then all would be considered if doctors could show compelling results.
so why all the censorship?
when i add it all up, , it smells of agenda sorry to say.

Doug well put. The hypocrisy about COVID is virtually everywhere, similar to the hypocrisy about global warming. People that preach one thing and do another.
We are all looking at the same numbers and data when it comes to COVID and our goal is to not become infected and staying alive. Politicians look at everything through the prism of getting elected, reelected and getting or keeping power. Yes, they care about human life but it is not on the top of their priority list like it is on ours. It is exactly the same for Global Warming - when we watch 100 private jets fly to the Davos conference carrying corporate and government leaders and their primary focus is on Global Warming how are we supposed to take these people seriously.

I am not sure what the answer is but at least in the United States term limits on Congress and the Senate would change political priorities. If term limits were put in place politicians would be more concerned about making an impact and leaving a long term legacy on the country instead of reelection.

Yes, the virus is real. And sometimes, under particular conditions (which are still not completely understood) it can seriously affect even healthy people, and some can definitely get it a second time.

I know someone here in Ecuador who, together with his wife, both middle-aged but not elderly, contracted Covid and have both suffered lasting heart damage.

You don't want to get this thing.

But most people reading this DO know how to take good preventative care of themselves. And a number of Avalon members have already had it and recovered, though for one or two people the recovery has been very slow, demanding and difficult.

I'm also certain the virus is real. And I'm fairly sure both myself & my partner have had it, caught just after last Christmas, just before it blew up big in the rest of the world.

That's about the time I believe I had it. All the symptoms checked off, plus after clearing it came back for a second go. Fatigue lasted another month, post viral cough nearer 3....

I think that denying the existence of it is a massive trap which will undermine the efforts of those that are arguing for proportional measures and effective treatments. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the loudest voices denying that this exists are doing so to damage the wider movement against the reset.

I’m an essential health care worker in large institution. I have to dress up in full PPE and provide mental health intervention in a quarantine unit at least three times a week. Otherwise I work face to face with patients who are all wearing masks. I’m tested weekly. We currently have several hundred positive patients. I won’t quote the exact numbers of positives or the exact total population because its confidential HIPPA protected medical information. I can say many are asymptomatic and thus points to all the information about the testing being unreliable; Thus justifying the shut downs. However we can count the death rate on less than one hand. What I’m more concerned about is the testing. I’m having a swab shoved down my throat weekly and have no idea what’s on it. A PA at work managed to “acquire” a swab and has it locked in his safe. He tried a few people in the alt community to see if he could get an analysis of it and they wouldn’t touch it. Theses swabs are from CHINA! To be honest it scares the hell out of me and even if I dodge the vaccine and COVID itself I have not been able to dodge the barrage of testing and what may be on that swabs.
