BTW, the Weston Price association has determined that activator X is actually vitamin K2. They put a paper out on it a while back.

Notice that they have a link for Dental issues and K2.

I've never had to have my wisdom teeth pulled though, they never bothered me. So I never had them out. I'm almost 45 they still don't bother me. And professionals just have a howling fit that I don't have them out. They should have been out when you were 30! OR 18. Or whatever criteria they use. Drives them nuts and they ask how can I live with that?
Here where I live they tend to leave the wisdom teeth if they don't cause problems. This is done for the last couple of years. Before they would surgically remove them as a precaution. Now they say to leaving them be is the way to go.
I had new wisdom teeth grow in at age 45, never had them before. And, when I was a child my dentist removed 4 back molars (nightmare experience) because my mouth is small and permanent teeth were crowding. All four molars grew back much later, very slowly in appropriate position.

Lately, I stay away from both dentists and doctors.

Since commercial mouthwash is questionable, I make my own with 1/2 Everclear, 1/2 water and a few drops of essential peppermint oil. I have both porcelain crowns for cosmetic purposes (I have an unusual genetic condition. Both my brother and I have teeth without the usual enamel) and gold crowns on molars. The Everclear mixture has not affected the adhesive in any way. I let it remain in my mouth for quite a while (even 5 Minutes). Since beginning this regime, my gums are healthier seem to be recovering gumline margins. You might need to decrease the Everclear at first. I have felt it almost burn at times, but recovery is quick and the gums seem to like it. I might caution anyone with fillings. I don't know about that.

Don't get me started on dental insurance. It is a rigged game. Even though prices appear to be cheaper, they have a scheme that requires many more visits and such. And, if you ever really need an expensive procedure there are hidden clauses written in attorney lingo to get them out of it. Plus, the dentists in the plan they require you to see are all dimwits.

David - the best source I have found on medical issues id www.mercola.com.

Dr Mercola was a regular medical doctor for many years. Dissatisfied with the recognized tools of his trade, he went back to school and studied alternative health protocols. So, you get the best of both worlds when you read his stuff.
I have seen just about every medical subjet discussed (including dental). He also gives shares the limelight generously with others whose work he respects.

I remember my 80 odd year old neighbour telling me as a child that his perfect teeth were due to him rubbing his finger with a bit of salt on them twice daily throughout his life.

I believe it. I use it at least once a day. A generation or two back I think that's how most oral care was conducted before the advent of tooth powders which had fair amount of salt in them too.

Salt is a really good antibacterial too.
