Sydney business owner Anthony Karam says the state premiers who impose lockdowns are “out of touch”, as businesses around the country struggle through prolonged and snap lockdowns. “They are sick and tired of being in and out of lockdown, these people just want to work,” Mr Karam told Sky News host Alan Jones. “It’s a dangerous situation and position we’re in. “Let me work, let me fund my own retirement, I don’t need anything from the government. “They’re out of touch, they don’t care about anyone but themselves, I’m sorry to say that but unfortunately this is the reality.”

• Study Finds Greater Natural Antibody Response In Recovered COVID-19 Patients Than Vaccinated Ones:

A new study has found that individuals that have previously contracted COVID-19 show a more potent antibody response than those who were solely vaccinated for the respiratory virus.

Conducted by a research team at Rockefeller University in New York, the analysis found “that between a first (prime) and second (booster) shot of either the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine, the memory B cells of infection-naïve individuals produced antibodies that evolved increased neutralizing activity against SARS-CoV-2,” but also that “no additional increase in the potency or breadth of this activity was observed thereafter.”

Meanwhile, researchers determined that not only do recovered COVID-19 patients possess neutralizing antibodies up to a year after infection, but that such infection simultaneously assists in offering protection against developing variants.

“Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection produces B-cell responses that continue to evolve for at least one year,” the study read. “During that time, memory B cells express increasingly broad and potent antibodies that are resistant to mutations found in variants of concern.”

The analysis later goes on to conclude, “Memory antibodies selected over time by natural infection have greater potency and breadth than antibodies elicited by vaccination.”

Moreover, the results suggest that “boosting vaccinated individuals with currently available mRNA vaccines would produce a quantitative increase in plasma neutralizing activity but not the qualitative advantage against variants obtained by vaccinating convalescent individuals.”

The study’s findings add to further mounting evidence detailing the level of protection natural immunity offers previously infected COVID-19 patients. Last month, Emory University published an extensive investigation describing the efficiency of long-term immunity against the respiratory virus. Similar discoveries have also been identified in research released by the Cleveland Clinic and the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, respectively.

LANSING, Mich.—About 800 protesters gathered Friday afternoon on the grounds outside the Michigan State Capitol to rally against government mandates for vaccinations and masks.

In a call for residents to push back against the government’s increasingly intrusive health policies and protect Americans’ rights during the pandemic, Tammy Clark, executive director of the conservative group “Stand Up Michigan,” encouraged the audience to let their voices be heard through non-violent civil disobedience.

“If we don’t stop this now, we won’t get another chance,” Clark said. “Let’s show the government that the employees of this country will not tolerate this tyranny. We have inalienable rights and we are not going to give them up. We must refuse to comply with the vaccine mandates and forced mask-wearing at all costs. If you lose your job, go out and get another job!”

With all of the flooding that has taken place there recently, much of this could be people moving around because of the flooding.

Or is this the start of seeing how vaccinated people will react when they get exposed to a virus?

Or have they released another virus altogether?

The delta variant has been said to be more transmissible, but a lot less severe.

The video shows a lot of activity, but no bodies.

I might be changing my name from Patient to Mr. Skeptical if they start pushing another pandemic because they lost the effects of this one.

They cant tell one variant from another.
No virus has been isolated according to the experts.
It has to be isolated in order to compare to any other
The gold standards are quite rigid and has not been met.
The test used can not tell the kind of virus or if its live -- ie infectious.

Naming a virus and calling it new is just keeping the fire rolling on.
Originally the latest was called the India virus.
They just changed the name again

The situation is quite tense in Zhuhai, the city just north of Macau. They lockdown not a small part of the city area, residents can move in the area but cannot leave. It has been a week now. All because there was a family of three from Macau who toured the mainland and were found to be infected on returning home and they had briefly stayed in that part of the city. Immediately, every resident in Zhuhai was required to take the nuclei test. This was very annoying, though it was very speedy, took some 15 mins from joining the queue for me. Annoying also because I have taken four tests in the past three months.

All citizens were found to be uninfected. I live far from the city. Life is quite normal here although there is a little tension. Apparently something big can be created out of nothing.
