Considering the way they genocided thousands of Jews, it's probably not really that likely to become a second Israel.

Allies expel Russia from Swift banking system

Britain and its western allies last night agreed to throw Russian banks out of the Swift payments system, in a move expected to cripple the country’s economy.

After days of negotiations, Britain, the United States and European Union agreed measures which will prevent several of Russia’s key financial institutions from operating globally.

The announcement marks a significant shift in stance by a number of European countries, including Germany, who were previously reluctant due to their heavy reliance on Russian gas and oil.

In a late-night press conference, Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission president, said that the measure would stop the banks targeted “from operating worldwide and effectively block Russian exports and imports”.

In a statement co-ordinated with Britain, the commission and Canada, the White House said that the group of western powers were “resolved to continue imposing costs on Russia that will further isolate Russia from the international financial system and our economies”. The move was designed to ensure “that selected Russian banks are removed from the Swift messaging system,” it said.

Previous estimates have suggested that ousting Russia from Swift could knock up to 5 per cent off the country’s gross domestic product.

Moscow has released a video claiming to show soldiers from both countries guarding the defunct facility

Russian paratroopers are keeping watch over the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant along with the Ukrainian National Guard, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday as it published a video supposedly showing soldiers from both forces guarding the premises.

The Russian forces “reached an agreement” with the nuclear power plant guard battalion of the Ukrainian National Guard, the ministry’s press service said in a statement. Both nations’ soldiers are currently providing security at the power plant’s units, spent fuel storehouses, and the protective dome built over the sarcophagus of the destroyed fourth reactor, it added.

The two-minute video released by the ministry shows the area around the power plant and people armed with assault rifles. The footage also shows two men in military uniform, one with a Ukrainian flag on his arm, discussing the security cameras and motion detectors in the area.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the power plant staff is working as normal, and the nuclear environment at the site remains safe. The video also shows people who appear to be power plant employees and military personnel measuring the radiation levels.

One man who appears to be a Russian serviceman is heard in the video saying that the nuclear environment is being monitored six times a day and that the situation remains under control.

The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant was the site of the worst nuclear catastrophe in history in 1986, when its fourth reactor went into meltdown. A gigantic steel sarcophagus, which took years to construct, now covers the dilapidated structure around the crippled reactor, which will remain radioactive for years to come.

Russian forces took control of the area, located in the north of Ukraine not far from the border with Belarus, on Thursday after President Vladimir Putin launched a military operation in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian nuclear agency and Interior Ministry claimed on Friday that there were increased radiation levels from the site of the defunct power plant. Reuters reported that the increase might have been caused by radioactive dust in the area that rose due to heavy equipment moving through the area.

My guess it's because none of the neighbors want nor need to have to wait another 50 years for the radioactive dust to settle... and, according to the video above your post, both Russians and Ukrainians are on site monitoring current radiation levels.

I wonder if there was illegal enrichment of uranium taking place under cover of the radiation at Chernobyl - radiation from nuclear materials can be detected and I think everywhere is monitored, maybe from satellites... perhaps nuclear war heads were being made and held right close to the containment area - so Russia wouldn't be able to detect it.... and it might have been going to be ready for a potential surprise nuclear attack that would be so close to the ground it would go under the radar...

speculation.... ^^^

another interesting point the Chernobyl power plant is on the same longitude as the Great Pyramid of Giza... I saw somewhere years ago but can't find it now that power plants might have to be situated on specific points on the earths energy/light grid to help keep the fission going at a certain level.... (think I remember that right...)

Thanks for verbalizing that... perhaps Putin and the Russian Army are actually Draining the Swamp in Ukraine... something Trump wanted to do in America, but couldn't when it came to it because the Swamp (NWO Deep State) were too deeply embedded in the US...and they (Swamp) don't give an inch and double down at the first sign of trouble and become very ruthless and dangerous...

With the talk of mercenaries being encouraged to go and fight in Ukraine (if what was reported in a previous post is right...) .... the whole country could go the same way as Iraq as the man making the video said... or Syria I was thinking - where there were lots of different factions fighting but they kind of coalesced into a proxy army for the Globalists against Assad....

The "normal" Ukrainian forces that guard the site are obviously just as worried as the Russians are that the lunatic Nazis the US has installed in power could use the site as the source for the biggest "dirty bomb" imaginable , esp as a last gasp FU to Europe & Russia.

BTW the nazis aren't neo-nazis, they are a movement that has been funded & kept alive since WW2, by the US.
