Default Revisiting 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind'

I recently watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind after not seeing it for about 35 + years . It was an amazing experience for me " seeing " it through a more awakened mind set than I was back in the day . I remember thinking it was a pretty good movie back then and enjoyed the music but it never captured my interest like Saturday Night Fever which came out nearly the same year . So now I get it . The interesting messages are put right out there . Its worth a revisit .

I did not realise there were three versions...LOL

In part two he does mention when filming one scene with the alien child, the
possibility of ET human exchange programme , project Serpo comes to mind. It
would be nice to of had his conversations with Alan Hynek taped, and I still think
Stephen has more to say on the subject , and there has been speculation that he is
    an insider.......

The movie highlighted 2 forms of communication albeit Hollywood's look in the movie is naturally more primitive than the real deal. That is both sound and light as a form of communication.

Oh ya, thank you.... just got the new Independence day movie. Sure hope we don't start things out like the movie did by shooting first. We did that over the Battle of LA and are lucky they didnt respond back. How ignorant we humans can be and how come we dont learn from our lessons?

I love the movie also. It is also a worthy re-watch with wiser eyes etc.

The thing with this movie to me is that powerful trigger the main character had. I don't see that being exclusively via an interaction of the nature of this film in this reality. It is just one potential. Though, many that have their 'trigger' to a new expanded awareness is this movie is very metaphoric in a journey life's journey perspective. Because everyone's journey is very unique. Many whom also don't thing they have had an interaction of this nature because there is no 'loss of time' or anything in the conscious awareness also may have had just a similar interaction with positive soul family who are not of this world, universe or reality. It is actually likely to be very common to those in this community.

The most powerful scene for me in this movie is towards the end. When a whole group get to that mountain and not believing the cover story. And, then when this group get to the last hurdle. The Core of the cover story. All but the main character limit their journey at the finish line to fear. Right at the last moment. THAT...is the power of this movie. As, it is a very mystery school metaphor to me. Where emotional master IS the key in this reality. On a level hard to fathom. I offer that thread in many of my documentaries. Emotional Mastery is our true power. Being empathic i am sure you all know this

    Cheers all

The successful people in Hollywood and other industries seem to be under a master script. Each person is given a set of instructions possibly via an implant with a design a future logic. Spielberg was obsessed with making an ET/UFO movie. Thirty years passed between 1947/19.47º and the release of CE3 in 1977.

Steven Spielberg Announces New UFO Movie For Summer 2026

News of Spielberg's new 'UFO movie' has sent sci-fi buffs into a stir. There's no concrete information as yet, though Emily Blunt has been named as taking a leading role. Spielberg has tentatively described this as 'the movie everyone's been waiting for'.

    Inside knowledge of Disclosure...?

There's no doubt his previous classic, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, had more than a hint of that, with some speculating it was based on a real event described in the Serpo material (see here, and here, and discussed most recently here). Rumours have been floated this new film, provisionally titled 'The Dish', may tie in to CE3 somewhere. Exciting if true.

    Article:
Once again, Steven Spielberg is returning to one of his favourite movie genres, the beloved realm of science fiction. There has recently been some huge news announced surrounding the legendary director’s next blockbuster venture, a UFO movie with a high-profile cast.

Last month, it was announced that Emily Blunt, fresh on the back of her acclaimed roles in The Fall Guy and Oppenheimer, will be taking a leading role in Spielberg’s next movie, which currently has a rough release date of May 2026 in the pipeline.

That date could naturally change over the next two years, of course, but there’s another new detail surrounding the film that hopefully won’t be altered. Another British star who has been making waves in recent times is Josh O’Connor, who has also been revealed to be joining the UFO movie cast.

Little is known about exactly what Spielberg’s movie is precisely about at this stage. However, the legendary director is going to be working with his Jurassic Park writer David Koepp for the sci-fi movie, while his long-time collaborator Kristie Macosko Krieger, who previously assisted on The Fabelmans and West Side Story, will also be joining the team.

There’s no official title for the new film just yet. Yet, at the recent IMAX Investor Presentation, a Universal Pictures project entitled The Dish was given a slot for May 2026, therefore, considering the UFO theme of Spielberg’s next film, The Dish, may well be the title, although this has not been fully confirmed.

“It’s easier for an audience to take warnings from sci-fi without feeling that we’re preaching to them,” the director once told the BBC. “Every science fiction movie I have ever seen, anyone that’s worth its weight in celluloid, warns us about things that ultimately come true.”
"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace."
