when I lived in alaska I called into work 4 times over the 13 years due to a moose not leaving the area around my car... those things are insane (or, imo; extremely stupid and aggressive)

not surprised at all by that video,, poor bear (Brown Bear) was so panicked it ran into a wall... haha

I’ve heard of noodling, but not the method this woman used.

I wonder what would happen if the moose actually caught the bear...

That was a juvenile brown bear, so it probably would have been severely injured, probably to the point that it couldn't hunt anymore and would die (nature is brutal and makes humans look like care bears (at least, until war breaks out)).

But a bull moose (that was not) and a full grown brown bear.... they usually don't even have conflicts because they both "know" the outcome (both die).

I've trained and bred "giant breed" dogs for decades, large predators posture a LOT, but rarely engage because they know the probable outcome is death or at the least, loss of status (social predators anyway, dogs etc..) you will see some very intense "posturing" however... animals have ego's too...LOL
