Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu claims that forces aimed at threatening Moscow have mushroomed

The number of NATO forces stationed close to Russia’s western borders has reached more than 30,000, the country’s Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on Wednesday.

He stated that the US-led military bloc had augmented units in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as in the Balkans and Baltic states.

“The contingent has grown in size by two and a half times to more than 30,000 people since February, and may grow more in the nearest future,” Shoigu said during a joint ministerial session with military officials from Belarus.

He said that such a concentration of Western forces poses a threat not only to Moscow, but to Belarus, Russia’s ally.

The defense of both countries is a “priority task” of the Union State of the Russian Federation and Belarus, he stated.

The West’s ultimate goal in its confrontation with Russia is to “destroy its economy, military potential, and to deprive it of the ability to conduct independent foreign policy,” Shoigu said.

In response to Russia’s campaign in Ukraine, NATO enhanced military units and weapon stockpiles in the east as a “deterrence” measure. The bloc described Russia as “the most significant and direct threat” to peace and security in its chief strategic document, which was updated in June.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at the time that the bloc’s rapid-response force would increase sevenfold to over 300,000. The bloc also agreed to establish four new battalion-size battlegroups in Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria, in addition to those in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Russia and Belarus announced the creation of a joint military force last month, which was said to include several thousand Russian troops. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko linked the move to tensions with the West. The first trains carrying Russian soldiers arrived in Belarus on October 15.

According to the Belarusian Defense Ministry, up to 9,000 Russian soldiers and around 170 tanks will be deployed in the country. The first trains carrying Russian soldiers arrived in Belarus on October 15.

In his speech on Wednesday, Shoigu said that the alliance with Minsk is especially important amid the “growing tensions across the world,” and the standoff with the West. He added that Russian and Belarusian units are training together, while the two states are conducting joint military planning as part of the new force.

Russia issues call to other nuclear powers

The rest of the big five need to match Moscow’s commitment to avoiding nuclear war, the Foreign Ministry insists

Moscow is “strictly and consistently” guided by the principle that a nuclear war can never be won and should never be fought, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday, calling on other atomic powers to “demonstrate in practice” their own commitment to this.

“We firmly believe that in the current difficult and turbulent situation, a result of irresponsible and shameless actions aimed at undermining our national security, the first priority is to prevent any military clash of nuclear powers,” the ministry said.

Russia stands by its signature on the January 3 joint statement with leaders of the ‘Nuclear Five’ – which includes the US, UK, France and China – on the prevention of nuclear war and the unacceptability of a nuclear arms race.

The ministry also called on the other members of the ‘Nuclear Five’ to demonstrate in practice they also share this commitment, and to “abandon dangerous attempts to infringe on each other's vital interests, balancing on the brink of direct armed conflict and encouraging provocations with WMD, which can lead to catastrophic consequences.”

Russia has repeatedly warned the US and its allies that their overt aid to the government in Ukraine makes them parties to the conflict in Ukraine. Moscow has also publicly accused Kiev of “nuclear blackmail,” including an alleged plan to detonate a “dirty bomb” against its own citizens.

Addressing Western accusations that Russia has made threats to use atomic weapons in Ukraine, the Foreign Ministry said that the circumstances in which Moscow may resort to such weapons are “extremely clearly outlined, purely defensive in nature, and do not allow for broad interpretation.”

“Use of nuclear weapons by Russia is hypothetically allowed only in response to aggression carried out with the use of WMDs, or aggression with the use of conventional weapons, when the very existence of the state is threatened,” the ministry said.

On Wednesday, the New York Times published an article citing “multiple senior American officials,” who claimed some Russian generals had been discussing “when and how Moscow might use a tactical nuclear weapon in Ukraine.” In response to this report, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the US considers the possibility “deeply concerning” and takes it “seriously,” but has not seen any indications Russia is actually preparing to use atomic weapons.

A small, but significant, parenthesis may be opened here.

The PA members who are familiar with HIV and/or “the extremely high probability” that HIV was a lab creation (the gays being the trial run guinea pig population) and/or the role of Fauci in ramming the highly toxic AZT through the throat of the gay patients showing signs of immunity breakdown may also know that the trap set up for those gays involved the testing of new vaccines against hepatitis (B and C).

In Greenwich Village and in San Francisco thousands lined up for the hepatitis vaccine shots and they also got injected a sizeable serving of HIV. (I am vastly simplifying what happened, even to my very partial knowledge about how it played out, but in essence that is said (by the “conspiracy addicts”) to have been the modus operandi.)

And what do we get here? Blood contaminated by HIV and by hepatitis B and C.

Now: please notice the percentages and how they correlate.

How coincidental is that? I guess this greatly adds to the probability that the story of “HIV hidden in a hepatitis vaccine experiment” is true.

Leaked documents: British spies constructing secret terror army in Ukraine

Whoever was behind those specific attacks, suspicions of a British hidden hand in the destruction are not unfounded. The Grayzone has obtained leaked documents detailing British military-intelligence operatives inking an agreement with the Security Service of Ukraine’s Odessa branch, to create and train a secret Ukrainian partisan terror army.

Their plans called for the secret army to conduct sabotage and reconnaissance operations targeting Crimea on behalf of the Ukrainian Security Service (SSU) – precisely the kind of attacks witnessed in past weeks.

The documents obtained by The Grayzone show that these plans are conducted in close coordination with the Odessa-SSU, while a politically influential Ukrainian oligarch was tapped to fund the malign endeavor.

Donnelly fretted that the Biden administration was not wholly committed to total war with Russia. Citing public statements by officials in Washington hoping for a negotiated settlement between Ukraine and Russia, Donnelly declared (see below): “This US position must be challenged, firmly and at once.”

In a separate communique, Donnelly blasted Biden as “so unwise as to beggar belief” for warning the Ukraine conflict could lead to “armageddon.”

According to the documents reviewed by The Grayzone, a private UK military company named Prevail Partners has been contracted to recruit and train the secret Ukrainian partisan fighters. Prevail was founded by special forces veterans, including former Royal Marine Brigadier and Special Boat Service commander Justin Hedges.

The company is headquartered not far from RM Hamworthy, an elite British military training centre, replete with grounds resembling city streets and an “improvised explosive device lane” to trial combat scenarios.

The program’s genesis was the product of covert lobbying conducted over the course of several months by Donnelly, an MI6 veteran named Guy Spindler, and Audrius Butkevičius, a former Lithuanian Defense Minister with longstanding ties to the Ukrainian security, military and intelligence apparatus.

British officials were also skittish about farming out training services to private contractors, perhaps out of fear they would be caught in the act or even prosecuted for engaging in such provocative activity.

MOSCOW, November 4. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that it was important to evacuate Kherson residents from the most dangerous areas.

"Now it is, of course, necessary to relocate those who live in Kherson from the most dangerous zone because civilians should not suffer from bombardments, from some offensive, counter-offensive and other measures related to military activities," the head of state said.

The Russian leader laid flowers together with participants in youth and volunteer organizations at the monument to Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky on Moscow’s Red Square earlier on Friday on Russia’s Unity Day celebrated on November 4 and talked with young people.

National Unity Day

National Unity Day is one of the youngest national holidays in Russia. It was established in 2005, replacing the Day of Accord and Reconciliation, which had been celebrated on November 7 since 1996.

Unity Day commemorates the events of 1612, when a militia army led by the merchant Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky liberated Moscow from Polish invaders.

Mobilized

An inflow of volunteers willing to join the Russian Armed Forces does not cease and the number of mobilized reservists has reached 318,000 men, President said during a talk with volunteers on Friday.

"We have already 318,000 [mobilized men]. Why do we have this figure of 318,000? This is because volunteers are joining the ranks. The number of volunteers does not cease," the head of state said.

As the Russian leader explained, of this number, 49,000 men have already joined troops and are accomplishing combat missions while all the rest are still undergoing training.

The Russian president said that all the mobilized men had their families, parents, wives and children. "Of course, the state is doing everything to support them. But when it comes from heart to heart, this is the most important support. This is the most reliable and effective one," the head of state said, commending volunteers for their assistance to the families of the mobilized men.

Belarusian border guards intercept Ukrainian combat trainer drone

The analysis of the drone’s memory card "confirmed the fact of its launch from Ukrainian territory

MINSK, November 4. /TASS/. Belarusian border guards intercepted a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that was used to practice dropping explosives, the republic’s Border Guard Committee reported on Friday.

"The incident occurred in the Gomel district one kilometer away from the Belarusian-Ukrainian border on November 2," the statement reads.

"It has been established that Ukrainian military units used the quadcopter on the border with the Republic of Belarus. The discovered photo and video data suggests that the drone was outfitted with an infrared vision system and was used to practice relocating and dropping explosives and also to conduct reconnaissance and survey border protection technical facilities on the territory of the Republic of Belarus," the Border Guard Committee said.

The drone flying from Ukrainian territory towards Belarus was spotted by a Belarusian on-duty border guard squad and was forcibly grounded, it said.

The analysis of the drone’s memory card "confirmed the fact of its launch from Ukrainian territory," it added.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko earlier said that the republic possessed the necessary weapons for protecting the border with Ukraine from drones and other aerial targets. Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin later said that the republic was not producing strike drones as it considered this as the manifestation of aggression.
