I notice this has a site has a fair few pdfs associated with it, would it be the one titled "Current Opinions in Neurological Science" or "The Science of Divinity: Part III Immersive Neuroscience" or any other containing the word "science"?

For your info, good old Google is able to list the pages with the pdfs by appending the search with "filetype:pdf", so to search this particular site just punch this into the search engine:

"site:akmukhopadhyayconsciousness.com/ filetype:pdf"

And if anyone knows how to get rid of those pesky emoticons in my above post that would be good

Ha, the emoticons. The trick to make them disappear when there's a bit of code that triggers them to manifest is to take one part of it — like the colon (:), or the P — highlight that, and then select the font size to be 2 (from the drop-down 'Sizes' menu in the toolbar). That inserts [SIZE=2] into the code, and so the aberrant emoticon never shows.
(Don't tell anyone, but this works to defeat the Avalon curse sensor as well. )

Gotcha lol. And as if by magic those tongue-poking emoticons have disappeared.

Doug, it's very fixable... what you did was just copy Mukho's message as text before you posted it... and that included the shortened (curtailed) form of the link, which has a bunch of dots [ .... ] in the middle of it where there should have been more characters.

The easiest thing to do is to open the link for yourself (because you can click on the link he sent you, and it'd certainly work for you) — and then go to the browser URL bar and then copy and paste THAT.

Or — forward me his email, or the part of his message that contains the link, and I'll be more than happy to fix it all for you.
