Hi Wade, thanks for the above post. As a non-scientist I will admit to still struggling a bit with the idea that climate change is mostly attributable to CO2

From current figures carbon dioxide is around 0.043%
    Methane around 0.00017%
Ozone less than that but fluctuates in different locations, apparently some areas shrinking others growing and pollution and weather (sun) affect this.
Water vapor in the tropics can be as high as 4% but in colder areas almost negligible though that also depends on rainfall in the region.

Prior to world temperature records I understand our measurements are based on data secured from, for instance, tree ring growth and ice cores from arctic/antarctic circles. Carbon dioxide would not be the only thing that effects tree growth, perhaps the most important is mineral depletion or abundance in the soils.

Indications are that carbon dioxide levels have been much higher in the distant past. Estimates suggest that those levels could be 5 times todays levels during the Jurassic Period. Perhaps the mega fauna needed those levels of CO2? We do know that plant life depends on carbon dioxide.

I do remember seeing a graph once that suggested carbon dioxide levels actually followed planetary temperature gains, unfortunately I cannot locate it now to see who produced the data - so not really pertinent at present.

There is another school of thought that suggests the sun (currently very quiet in activity) is the primary driving force of weather on our planet. That together with the weakening magnetic field could produce quite catastrophic earth changes in so far as my understanding goes. An increase in volcanic activity and earthquakes, more extreme weather events can all result from this as far as I have understood the data.

    Any thoughts on that?

    Thank you for your time.

    Ewan

    Hi Ewan:

This will take more than one post to reply to, it will be in my usual wide-ranging style, and will kind of be a bookend to my recent posts on fringe stuff (1, 2).

The first issue that I think we need to address I wrote about several years ago, and it helps to get a solar-system view on this. I’ll do this all in degrees Fahrenheit. In the Sun’s core, where the fusion that powers it is happening, it is about 27 million degrees, and on its surface it is “only” 10,000 degrees. Venus has a surface at nearly 900 degrees, with an atmosphere 92 times as massive as Earth’s, and nearly all carbon dioxide. Mars has an atmosphere less than 1% as dense as Earth’s (and all carbon dioxide), and while it can get to almost 100 degrees at equatorial noon, Mars averages 80 degrees below zero. And those are our closest neighbors and most Earth-like planets. Mercury is like the Moon, except far hotter.

Jupiter is like a little Sun, its radiation is so fierce that a human could not come close to it, and there is no surface to stand on. The rest of the planets going outward are similar gas giants. Pluto’s surface averages nearly 400 degrees below zero, with an atmosphere 1/100,000 as dense as Earth’s. The body in the solar system that looks most like Earth is Saturn’s moon Titan, which Europe, with a NASA rocket, amazingly landed on in 2005. It has lakes, clouds, rivers, and mountains. Except its surface is nearly 300 degrees below zero, and its “water” is methane and other hydrocarbons. There is a lot of speculation that life based on ammonia and methane could evolve on Titan, but there also may be a water ocean below the surface, like Europa (one of Jupiter’s moons) likely has, so those are the two places in our solar system that might have life as we know it (water-based, etc.).

If anything lived on those moons, we would likely call them extremophiles, as Earth has microbes that live in very harsh environments. But very little that is multicellular can survive in those environments. For life that we are familiar with, particularly multicellular plants, animals, and fungi, there is a pretty narrow range of conditions that they can live in, particularly if we take that solar-system view. Because they are water-based, they can’t live much below freezing (32 degrees) for long, and at much above 100 degrees, they die (their biochemistry breaks down). So, there is about a 100-degree range that Earth’s complex life can live in on land (it is less in water, like a 60-70 degree range). With the Sun’s core at 27 million degrees, and most of the solar system far below zero, a 100-degree range is tiny.

To bring Earth’s environment into perspective, where I live, especially with recent events, there is about a 100-degree range between the extremes over a year, and it is buffered by the nearby ocean. In South Dakota, it has ranged over nearly 180 degrees. But this global warming talk is about two degrees over the past century or so. That might seem trivial, but as I began this post with, the difference in Earth’s mean temperature between the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age was 1 degree! In Europe, the Medieval Warm Period saw vineyards in England and wandering troubadours who sang of courtly love, while the Little Ice Age saw unending famines, epidemics, and war. The contrast in the art, between the Medieval Warm Period troubadours and the Danse Macabre, which was the classic Little Ice Age art, is stark. Troubadours did not survive the Black Death.

Complex life on Earth is vulnerable to even small temperature changes. And before industrialization, all agrarian societies were at the mercy of the weather (domestic crops will fare worse than the wild plants will, as they are not in their natural environment). One bad harvest, because the rains didn’t come, a late freeze, or it was too cold or hot, and people starved. Agrarian societies lived on the thin edge of survival, which is why there are so many ruins on Earth of vanished civilizations. They rarely lasted long.

Industrial societies have access to an order of magnitude more energy than agrarian ones do. Much of that energy runs tools, and feeding a machine is ten times as efficient as feeding a human, work-wise, so you and I live off the backs of hundreds of effective humans. All of that energy and work makes famines a thing of the past. Food is shipped across the world today. Life is incredibly easy for industrialized humans, compared to agrarian humans.

By themselves, statistics like carbon dioxide is “only” 400 parts per million in our atmosphere do not mean much. Bring context to it, and it starts making sense. Oxygen, nitrogen, and argon do not capture infrared radiation, so are not greenhouse gases, and they comprise more than 99% of our atmosphere. Water, methane, and carbon dioxide are greenhouse gases, and those gases make Earth’s surface 60 degrees warmer than it would otherwise be. But carbon dioxide is actually more important than water as a greenhouse gas, because its vaporization point is much lower (140 degrees below zero versus 212 degrees above zero for water, and it turns directly from solid to gas at atmospheric pressure). So, water stays in the atmosphere about a week before coming out in precipitation, while carbon dioxide stays in the atmosphere for a century. Earth would have never recovered from its snowball Earth episodes without carbon dioxide in the air (and Earth would have likely been a ball of ice for the past few billion years).

To more of your specific questions, pre-modern temperature records have been developed from numerous sources, including tree rings and ice cores, as you noted. There are others (about ten in all). Taken together, they have formed a robust reconstruction of Earth’s temperature record. When they find Eocene alligator fossils in Greenland, scientists reasonably conclude that Earth was warm then. 20 thousand years ago was the coldest that Earth had been in over 500 million years, and about 30 degrees cooler than at its warmest. As noted above, complex life has always lived in a 30-to-35 degree range of mean Earth temperature.

Yes, carbon dioxide levels were much greater in the past, and Earth was warmer. But in the past million years, carbon dioxide levels never got over 300 PPM until the Industrial Revolution began spewing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, and it is over 400 PPM today. I may live to see it hit 500 PPM at this rate.

There is a great deal of anti-Global Warming propaganda out there. For the past 140 years, the sunlight hitting Earth has been steady at 1361 watts per square meter. When people discuss the “great variation,” in solar activity, it amounts to something like 0.1%, while a key greenhouse gas (responsible for 10-25% of the total effect) is going to nearly double in two centuries (200% versus 0.1%, or 2,000 times, to get a sense of proportion of these issues).

Here is a back-of-the-envelope calculation. The greenhouse gases make it 60 degrees warmer, and the one responsible for 10% (the low side) doubles. 10% of 60 is six degrees, so doubling it means it will warm Earth by 6 degrees, or six times the difference between the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age. That is what has climate scientists alarmed.

And let’s cut that 6 degrees in half, just because, and it is still three times greater than the Medieval Warm Period/Little Ice Age difference. At 3 degrees, that could be enough to melt Greenland and a lot of Antarctica, and this gets into uncharted scientific territory. As scientists have studied the ice sheets, they are witnessing effects that they had not seen before or anticipated. For instance, what is happening below the ocean’s surface has been alarming. Warmer water on the ice below the surface is rapidly melting the ice sheets, but it is not evident from the surface. So, the ice shelfs get “hollowed out” from below, and then the entire ice shelf collapses. This is happening today. They are also finding that when those ice shelves collapse, they were the snouts of continental ice sheets, and were holding the ice stable on the continent. With the shelves gone, those continental ice sheets are slipping down into the ocean at high rates. So, something that looks stable can suddenly come crashing down. Those continental ice sheets that are sliding into the ocean raise the sea level. I have been following the reports for a generation, and each report is more ominous than the previous one, and showed that the previous estimates were too conservative. Far from being alarmists, climate scientists have actually been minimizing what is happening, as their models try to catch up to reality and runaway effects. These are some of the “non-linear” effects that Krauss discussed in his book.

I was aware of the global warming issue back in the 1980s, but really did not pay a great deal of attention to it, even in my free energy days.  It was not until I began studying paleology that it became clear to me what a climate driver carbon dioxide levels have been in Earth’s past.  Then I studied what happened at the photon/molecular level, as Krauss presented.

There are always competing hypotheses of varying validity.  For instance, there is a paper that argues that solar variation, based on magnetic dynamics in the Sun, has been primarily responsible for our climate fluctuations.  I doubt it, but we’ll see, if we live long enough.  The evidence, of volcanism and deposition events, on carbon dioxide levels, lines up very well with those icehouse and greenhouse phases, such as the days of dinosaurs.  Our burning hydrocarbons today contributes 100 times as much as volcanoes do.

I think that there is a very high bar to argue that other factors have overwhelmed the carbon dioxide levels as climate change mechanisms, especially since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.  I have read the work of climate change “skeptics,” and their arguments and evidence could be surprisingly bogus and slipshod. What Singer did was criminal.

What humans are doing is very measurable, and we can do something about that (I know of something that solves the problem almost instantly ). None of us can do anything about the Sun’s output. There is more to come, but it is time for bed.

    Happy 2023,

    Wade

Default Re: WADE FRAZIER : A Healed Planet

    Hi:

In response to Ewan’s Global Warming questions, I am going to get into my history with the vaccination issue, and then circle round, to wrap them up with a general summary of the selective blindness of the right and left, as the right is in thrall to the energy racket, while the left is in thrall to the medical racket. Neither camp is really awake, but sees the world through the lenses of their ideological convictions. Scientists ideally don’t do that, nor does anybody who really wants to understand how our world works.

The medical racket and I go back more than 50 years. The booklet that saved my father’s health was banned in the USA, but its advice forms orthodoxy’s first line of defense today. Of course, that author will not be feted as a prophet anytime soon.

I took that stuff more seriously than anybody in my family did. I began a fasting regimen when I was 17, and am actually starting a fast later today, and plan to fast for much of this winter. I went vegan in 1978, and have been a vegetarian for the past 35 years. I have been once again eliminating processed food from my diet, to get on the straight and narrow, to give me at least 30 more good years. We’ll see how that goes. I have lived to see fasting go from a crazy fad to the mainstream and even winning a Nobel Prize, and there is now a war on processed food. But Big Food and Big Pharma won’t go quietly, as there are trillions of dollars at stake, and they may well be part of a global depopulation plan.

As I look back at my life, that booklet that I read at age 12 was the beginning of my awakening, but it would be nearly another 16 years before I met Dennis, and my awakening really happened. Four years after the voice led me to Dennis, my life was ruined, but I had been awakened. I then hit the books and never stopped. Nothing was off-limits to me, and within a few months, I encountered Naessens and his microscope, as well as Rife’s. I read Ralph’s Hovnanian’s Medical Dark Ages, which was mostly about the cancer racket and how holistic cancer treatments had been suppressed. As fate would have it, I got a job at a medical lab when Dennis was in jail, and I got to see the medical racket in action, spectacularly.

I got a few vaccines as a child (smallpox, dip-tet, and maybe one other), but was lucky to have been a child before vaccination really became a racket. Béchamp was mentioned in that Naessens book, and is where I first read that Pasteur may not have been the shining medical hero that he is presented as today. But I really did not study that issue a great deal for several years, until I began studying for my site in 1997. I got Bechamp’s book that credibly exposed Pasteur as a serial plagiarist. I read a book by a Harvard professor on the spontaneous generation controversy, which clearly showed that Pasteur deserved no credit at all for ending the spontaneous generation issue, but the microbiology textbooks repeat the fairy tale to this day. Then I read a book on Pasteur’s private notes, which portrayed Pasteur as a scoundrel. Even in the Pasteur hagiographies that I read, he was a forerunner to the Nazis, with his human experiment proposals.

In early 1997, I spoke to Naessens and talked to his wife for an hour. I also talked to the son of a man who tried to get FDA approval for Naessens’s 714-X, but who had been imprisoned for his effort. By that time, I was well aware of how the medical racket operated. I tried to help Burzynski back then.

In those days, I began seeing challenges to the germ theory itself, and the book on the Pasteur/Béchamp divide not only challenged the germ theory, but presented the first statistics that I saw that challenged vaccination, with statistics from the 1800s. I then began reading books that challenged vaccination, particularly Neil Miller’s books. Miller was a layman, but what he largely did was just compile vaccine studies. So, when I first published my medical racket essay, I believe in 1999, vaccines were definitely part of the medical racket as I saw it, but I did not revisit the issue for many years. Brent was very anti-vaccine, so we discussed it some as we hiked. When he became a famous hike-leader, he eventually asked ten MDs what they thought about vaccination, and not one of them believed in it. I got Tenpenny’s book in 2009, and was surprised to read that vaccine trials never had placebo control groups, which is arguably fraudulent.

So, I had data points like that over the years, and began a vaccination thread in 2015, but it was not until COVID that I really dived into the vaccine issue again, and what a dive.

I got more books by MDs that challenged vaccination, and these (1, 2) were the best that I read. Indeed, the entire theoretical foundation for vaccination is shaky, and there is no credible evidence that vaccination ever conquered a disease. At best, vaccines trade a short-term acute illness for a long-term chronic one. Vaccines work by creating an autoimmune condition and turn the immune system upside-down, as vaccines are all about producing antibodies (humoral immunity), when cellular immunity (white blood cells, etc.) was our first immune system. It turns out that antibodies are not a good measure of immunity at all. Vaccination, just like other lucrative, violent, and worthless interventions, appears to be a huge scam. But really, what else is new? The medical racket is just one of several global rackets.

I have mentioned my Rip Van Winkle moments in my life, such as seeing attacks on vegetarians, the trans craze, and the real estate hysteria before the 2008 collapse. Reading Kennedy’s magnum opus was another such moment for me. Until reading Kennedy’s book, I did not realize that there was an infectious disease racket, run by Fauci and Gates. After reading Kennedy’s book, I began calling what we see today Medical Racket, 2.0, as Fauci and Gates took over from Fishbein and Rockefeller. Psychopaths and sociopaths run the show.

Just yesterday, I updated my note on today’s medical racket in my upcoming essay. Even among science’s defenders, medical science is considered its flimsiest and most corrupt branch. People such as Lustig and Mercola are putting up the good fight, but the medical racket is too dug in and the lemmings line up. I don’t see any of the global rackets going away until the arrival of the Fifth Epoch, and only one thing can do that.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi Wade, Fyi:
there seems to be another upcoming attempt for FE "disclosure" --- with an unfortunately classic approach --- since they are talking about patenting, etc .
Nevertheless, maybe the turmoil the world is in provides the necessary thrust to revisit and improve the findings of Tesla, Schauberger etc.--- and realize them!
Randall Carlson and Graham Hancock seem to be confident that it'll work out this time.
In any case.......an interesting announcement on the Rogan Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAk8MagnDsY -------- just 15 minutes long.

Sigh. Hiding out in the Maldives, getting the patents in place, working with the car companies….where have I heard that before? Well, that is 15 minutes of my life that I won’t get back. I have never had any respect for Hancock’s work, and could have had added Hancock to my recent “fringe” posts. I looked into Hancock’s stuff around when I was poking into Velikovsky. I have some of his books. Typical fringe rubbish.

In one of Hancock’s books, he had several “references” to support his grand reconstructions of lost civilizations, such as in Antarctica. It was not quite Flat Earth stuff, but I didn’t see where it was valid either, and I did some digging. It fell far short of any kind of credible scholarly or scientific effort, kind of like 1421. They can only get away with their stuff by playing to the scientifically illiterate. It is all a short step from the tabloids.

Some creditable scientists politely shot holes all through Hancock’s work. The same goes for trying to explain the pyramids as built with Atlantean tech, etc. Working in stone is not exactly the mark of an advanced civilization. Nothing like that has ever held up to scrutiny that I ever saw. Of course, the upshot of all such stuff is free energy tech that is just waiting in the wings. Not interested. Maybe they can race Greer to the finish line.

    Hi Reinhard:

What was kind of confusing about their appearance was that they said the tech would be both patented and open-sourced. In software, you can do both (1), but it has been a battle. Dennis did the same thing, of working with a car company, before the Rockefellers got involved. People have been trying to develop this stuff in hiding for many years. That show just highlighted the field’s arrested development. Dennis did hundreds of radio shows about 30 years ago, before he went to prison. Actually, some of the prison guards recruited him to work for them, as they knew who he was, while other officials tried to get him killed by the inmates, which nearly worked.

So, is going on Rogan with tales like that helpful? Not sure, but it is frustrating to hear the same broken records forever. Hancock and his shaggy friend are not going to be the best spokesmen for that, and I am really tired of hearing the “it is almost here” announcements, as it never arrives.

It is time for something different.

    Hi:

Nearly all of the vaccine studies that I covered in yesterday’s post I did before the COVID vaccine came out, and then it all got dialed up to 11. I never saw anything like it, nor has anybody else alive today. The medical racket finally took the gloves off, and was in our faces like never before.

My career ended because of the draconian lockdowns, which we now know were useless, contrary to established medical practice, and created vast damage to the world’s societies. You quarantine the sick, not the healthy. It was all insane at best and evil at worst. Fauci recently admitted that he got his lockdown ideas from that bastion of human rights: China.

As Kennedy discussed in his magnum opus, the war on early treatments drugs such as ivermectin and HCQ were performed to clear the decks for the vaccine, as the vaccines would have been illegal if any COVID treatments were officially recognized. Wiping out early treatments turned COVID into the killer it became.

Since COVID was likely created in a lab, conspiracists can be forgiven for thinking that the entire COVID affair was a conspiracy by Big Pharma to create a pandemic, to then make a fortune on their patented treatments. The conspiracists might be right on this one. The “nano-chips in the vaccines” stuff has no credible supporting evidence (Mercola article attached), typical of conspiracists, but like a stopped clock is right twice a day, the conspiracists might be right this time. However, the structural dynamics are far more important than the conspiratorial ones, as usual (1% conspiracy and 99% complicity). The war on early treatments likely killed nearly a million Americans. The vaccines have likely killed several hundred thousand Americans and millions globally. American life expectancy has plunged since 2019, this morning’s Mercola article attached.

Three close friends were vaccine-injured, and two did it for their jobs. When I lost my job, I had an immediate line on a new gig with a large corporation before I decided to hang it up. It was a good thing that I did not take that job, as that company fired everybody who was not vaccinated. I recently heard of a pal’s parent who died a few weeks after getting the COVID vaccine, with the standard vaccine-injury symptoms. I don’t even try to collect these reports, but my friends volunteer them to me. Others around me are sleepwalking through it all, as usual.

These co-called COVID vaccines are not really vaccines, as they have been defined until now. Normal vaccines inflict disease organisms on the patients, to create an autoimmune reaction which, at best, trades a short-term acute illness for a long-term chronic one. Since vaccination in the USA became a racket, after the federal government shielded vaccine makers from liability in 1986, chronic diseases have skyrocketed in our vaccine-pin-cushioned children. Congress actually charged Fauci with finding out why, and Fauci simply shrugged off Congress, to show those with eyes to see where the real power is.

The COVID “vaccines” are something different, Frankensteinian concoctions that hijack the ribosomes to create spike proteins that mimic the surface of the COVID virus. The COVID “vaccine” trials were fraudulent, as usual, and those “vaccines” are causing vast injuries, including unprecedented deaths of working age Americans. They are dying from everything from cardiac arrest to “turbo-cancer” to neurological conditions. Conspiracists call the COVID vaccine part of a global depopulation effort, and my skepticism of that idea is less than it used to be. The GCs have always had a depopulation agenda as a Plan-B. Could this be part of it? We’ll see if death rates skyrocket in coming years from the vaccines, as conspiracists are arguing for. COVID-vaccine injuries such as heart inflammation usually take years to kill the victims. I’ll be watching the death rates in coming years with interest.

Of course, none of this needs to happen, but so it is in a world of scarcity and fear.

    Best,

    Wade

After begging and pleading my son and wife not to partake in this ghastly scenario, her mother said I was mad and to go ahead and get the experimental vax.
Since then, daughter in law very ill with rheumatoid arthritis, debilitating. Son suffering from very bad back. Now, I know they do research, but surely they have twigged by now? I am not allowed to mention any nasty side effects. Can not do anything to help them apart from funding extra treatments to resolve issues. Infuriating. Sorry Wade, you have been inspiring, if only folk would see sense. I despair.

    Hi Avid:

Sorry to hear this, and I feel your pain. It is like watching people commit suicide, while they think that they are saving themselves. I have been relatively insulated from this in my personal life, but I hear too many tales like yours (and have witnessed too many). I think that it is going to be the Fifth Epoch or bust for humanity. I wish that the choices were not as stark, but the muddle-through middle ground has been quickly disappearing in my lifetime. Bucky said that it was probably too late by the 1980s, if we did not right the ship by then, and let’s pray that he was not optimistic enough. I know a way out.

    Hi:

To expand a little on my reaction (1, 2) to that Rogan episode, during my journey with Dennis, he was constantly talking up how we were nearly there. He was always in salesman mode, as the eternal optimist, Mr. Silver Lining. When I became his partner and we soon put on our Greatest Energy Shows, as Dennis played P.T. Barnum, I really began looking at the public that we attracted and what they were there for. People would get all enthused, as long as Dennis was in the room, and in every gathering were those plotting how to steal it. It took me years to figure it out, and how putting it all on Dennis’s shoulders (or him and a few staunch supporters) was not really going to work. Indiana Jones can’t save the world by himself, no matter how good he is with that whip.

I watched the same people who gave Dennis a standing ovation later cheer as his company was stolen. A couple of years later, a man who led a standing ovation for me helped steal the company a few months later. I am wary of standing ovations. I learned my lifetime’s most valuable lessons in those days. Everything else since then has been the small stuff.

A great deal of what I became uneasy about I was unable to articulate until many years later. We all knew that free energy was big, but I did not really understand how big until I was studying to write my big essay, more than 20 years later. Dennis still does not understand and likely never will.

I eventually understood that Dennis played to the three most prominent population management ideologies in the USA (capitalism, nationalism, organized religion), as a way to attract people. The people who came to our shows were there for the show and opportunity, not because they really cared about what free energy could do for humanity and Earth’s ecosystems (maybe one-in-a-thousand did, if that). Dennis often played the magician who was going to pull the rabbit out of his hat. I eventually realized that the people who waited for that rabbit were worthless for what we were attempting. They were spectators, waiting for Santa to come down the chimney and fill their socks.

A good recent example of that mentality was QAnon, as people believed that Trump and his handlers were Santa (or saints). It is a childlike mentality. The QAnon talking heads are still at it (and the big revelation is coming next week! ), as if they have any credibility left. It was telling that in the QAnon ranks were Flat Earthers. They are also in the “anti-vaxxer” ranks, too, but not because they really understand the issues. It just aligns with their stunted worldviews.

As I wrote, Hancock has not exactly impressed me with his work, and when he gets on Rogan’s show with his shaggy buddy, announcing that free energy is coming soon, from a secret lab in the Maldives, as the inventors get their patents lined up before pulling the rabbit out of their secret hat, I don’t know whether I should laugh or cry. Maybe some more people heard about free energy for the first time on Rogan’s show, so maybe there is that. Maybe I should realize that chatter shows like Rogan’s have their place, but literally nothing productive will come of them. It is at the water-cooler level of the discussion. It has its place, like office gossip.

    Best,

    Wade

Default Re: WADE FRAZIER : A Healed Planet

    Hi:

I’ll see if I can wrap up this digression that my post on early humans began. My wife and I are still recovering from Nigel’s death. Many years ago, I wrote an essay on orthodoxy versus alternatives, and the difficulties that laypeople face. Heck, I am a layperson in all areas other than accounting, which is my only professional credential.

Navigating orthodoxy and the fringes can be a minefield. There are professional standards, and I believe in the process of science and scholarship. However, as with the ideas of democracy, free markets, a free press, and the like, the ideal of science and scholarship can seem unattainable. In a world of scarcity and fear, real-world practices often become grotesque corruptions of those ideals, even inversions of them.

Conflicts of interest are always the key indicators of when orthodoxy goes astray. The media is riddled with conflicts of interest. Conflicts of interest corrupted my profession into worthlessness. I have found that the more wealth and power accruing to any industry or profession, the more corrupt it is. The history profession has been corrupted, and iconoclasts such as Howard Zinn showed how that was. Reading the attacks on Zinn from orthodoxy can be very educational. When they were not lying outright, those attackers were allergic to facts and reason. I began fielding the same kinds of critiques when I began publishing my work on the Internet. When they were not lying, my critics could not string two rational thoughts together. If they were not being consciously dishonest, then the question comes up if they were sentient. Those failures are generally just more examples of my journey’s primary lesson.

But if you can’t trust orthodoxy, what about the fringes? The big breakthroughs in evolution and various human activities usually came from the fringes, where innovation could have huge payoffs and they had little to lose. Radical innovation almost never comes from orthodoxy, but most innovations are failures, too. Sometimes they fail in the execution, not the intrinsic worthiness of the innovation, often because of scarce resources to implement the innovation. But the innovations that threaten orthodoxy are often wiped out or stolen in today’s world. If orthodoxy can strangle threatening (AKA “disruptive”) innovations in their cradles, that is the cheapest way of fending off radical alternatives.

How Dennis’s efforts were repeatedly wiped out could comprise a textbook on organized suppression. The GCs have turned organized suppression into a science, and wiping us out likely added a chapter or two to their manual. But to this day, the free energy field and its allies lie about it, as just another example of my journey’s primary lesson. A lot of my journey has been like Diogenes’s quest for the honest man. I find them here and there, but they are few and far between. The best heating system in world history has been wiped out in North America, and an inferior version is sold in Portugal today, by the only company that has survived that I know of.

So, the fringes can have the best of the best, but far more often, the fringes are filled with chaff, not wheat. Since energy is the literal foundation of our universe and human societies, the corruption in the energy industry is the greatest of all, and more GC resources are devoted to keeping the energy racket intact than any of the other global rackets. They have quite the bag of carrots and sticks to use on disruptive upstarts. But many of the promising upstarts ignorantly waltz into the lion’s den, if they get that far. Most never get that far.

The medical racket has gone global, as the antics of the COVID pandemic illustrated. It also uses carrots and sticks. The carrots keep orthodoxy in line with the program of lucrative and worthless interventions, while the sticks are used on anything that threatens the racket’s cash flows.

The vaccine issue is a good one to show the medical racket in action, as well as its deep roots. The Global Warming issue is a good one to show how the energy racket defended itself from any meaningful regulation. Both issues also highlight how people get blinded by their self-serving ideologies, and cannot perceive reality. How the energy interests muddied the Global Warming waters with shills like Fred Singer and a compliant media is very obvious, but the right can’t go there. The basics of Global Warming are easy to understand, the evidence is in our faces today, but the right effortlessly turns summersaults of logic and dismisses the evidence to try to explain it all way and maintain their denial. Those very same people are usually conspiracists, have an often lurid and tabloid-like fascination with the GCs, and we even see free energy gossip, but the right cannot seem to fathom why the hydrocarbon interests would muddy the waters. That selective blindness has been amazing to behold, and I get Global Warming denial emails from the right to this day.

The vaccine issue highlights the left’s blindness. While the right can’t seem to fathom an energy racket, the left can’t imagine a medical racket. Minimal scientific literacy is needed to understand the Global Warming issue. The issue of biology and vaccines is a much more difficult topic. But the conflicts of interest in medical science are prodigious, and even among the defenders of science, medical science is seen as its flimsiest and most corrupt branch. But even Noam can’t see that. What I think is happening is that the right generally has one foot in the Third Epoch (rural agrarian red states), while the urbanized left lives in the Fourth Epoch. Their religions are different. The right still bangs its Bible, while the Fourth Epoch’s religion is science and materialism. Admitting the corruption of medical science (and other branches of science) is just a bridge too far for the left.

The funny thing about the left and right is that they both blame the elite, as both refuse to accept responsibility for this state of affairs. Left and right largely fail to acknowledge their role in these deadly dances, as they gave their power away and play the victim. The left and right only play different variations of the scarcity and fear game (and the mainstream is completely in thrall to the social managers).

It is rather instructive that the world’s leading “philanthropist,” Bill Gates, is at the forefront of both rackets, as he took over from the Rockefellers. Gates controls the WHO, is Mr. Vaccine, and is heavily invested in fission as our energy “solution.” But Gates is a member of the retail elite, and plays his dirty games far below the GC level.

Brian’s idea of combined positive intention is the only way out that I see. The love and enlightenment path may be the only one that will work, and is what I am trying to mount.

    Back to essay work.

    Wade

    Hi:

I was recently asked if there is a short summary of my work. Well, not in one spot. I have tried to distill my work since 1996, and the next few years will see my most concentrated writing effort, capped off with a book, which will only be an abridged version of my revised big essay, so should not be hard to write. The introduction to my big essay is a brief summary of that essay and my primary message. I have a short essay on abundance. I have a brief overview of my adventures, and those of my fellow travelers, in this section of my big essay. The favorite part of my work for many readers is my chapter on what I call the Fifth Epoch. My chapter on how to get there might be the most important chapter in that essay. That can all be read in a couple of hours. Digesting it will take longer.

I am sympathetic to those daunted by the length, breadth, and depth of my work. I try to make it as easy as I can on the readers that I seek, but comprehensive thinking does not come easily. Some kind of comprehensive thought is likely required for what I am doing. Otherwise, people tend to get lost, disappear down rabbit holes to nowhere, and the like. The unawakened should not read my work, and I do what I can to chase them off. To them, my work is either meaningless, or they see it as a threat to their existence. I need the awake and awakening for my little effort to stand a chance.

    Best,

    Wade

    Hi:

God, was Ed ever prophetic about the social media. The scandal revealed by the Twitter Files has been mushrooming, and we have not even gotten to Fauci yet. Twitter actually tried to stand up to government demands for censorship, led by Hillary Clinton, but quickly knuckled under. Reading the Twitter Files reminds me of the Banality of Evil observation on Eichmann. This is the banality of bureaucratic evil. For anybody who thinks that the USA has freedom of speech, the Twitter Files are a harsh rebuke of that fantasy. The COVID Twitter Files are obviously no great surprise to those who have followed the past three years of propaganda and censorship.

I was never tempted to join Facebook or Twitter, and these revelations are showing why my disinterest was justified. I have seen this many times in my life and studies. It was obvious what was happening, although covered up, and years later the truth would come out, like when Noam and Ed wrote about American-sponsored torture in 1979, and the government admitted it in 1995. I think that I am going to wait until the Fauci files come out before I write a lot more on this issue.

    Best,

    Hi Wade,

I know you've stated you don't favour wasting time with videos but the following offering is 22 minutes long and if you watch it at 1.25 speed, (easily done), it will only be seventeen minutes of you life you won't get back.

The points made seem very valid to me, but of course they're presented in a convincing fashion - and I've already admitted I'm a non-scientist.

The talk received criticism from some quarters (below).

Posted June 4th, 2018 by TED Staff.

In his talk at TED2013, “How to fight desertification and reverse climate change,” biologist Allan Savory offered a surprising solution to the spread of deserts around the globe: grazing. By reversing the transformation of grassland into desert, he said, such “holistic planned grazing” could help solve climate change.

Savory notes that such grazing is just one component of appropriate land stewardship, not a prescribed system, and its potential for success is influenced by each unique environment and context. But some critics have challenged the hypothesis. For example, one recent report argues that any gains from greening after grazing are more than offset by methane emitted by the grazing animals.

In other words, the science around Savory’s idea is complicated. As with every area of inquiry, research is ongoing. If you have further comments or information you feel should be added to this update, please do contact us at contact@ted.com with the subject line “Allan Savory comment.”

These postings for your opinion won't become a habit, don't want to take you away from more important things. Mostly curious if there are solutions outside the big one that are just being ignored. That would be so typical of humanity.

    Cheers,

    Ewan

    Hi Ewan:

One of the main points of my Fifth Epoch work is that with the arrival of free energy and related technologies, the immediate human impacts will be a permanent banishment of poverty, scarcity, fear, warfare, etc. With that kind of unprecedented empowerment, cleaning up the mess that we have made will be child’s play. In the Fifth Epoch, what the climate is doing will not matter to human welfare.

What we call wild mammals only comprise four percent of mammalian biomass. Nearly everything that we have not exploited through domestication we have driven to extinction. I aim to give the ecosphere back to nature, not further exploit it for human ends. Every day, somebody comes up with what I call “small ball” “solutions” to the damage that we are inflicting on Earth through our egocentric ways. TED is full of stuff like that. I consider TED to be infotainment, and often disinfotainment when people such as Bill Gates have the stage. I would never be allowed on TED (or Dennis, Brian, Ed, Noam, etc.). Only fluff that bows to the global oligarchy is allowed in a venue like that. About the only mention of Noam on Ted is by a guy who fraudulently attacks him (a TED splinter group in the UK had him on once, in a video, back in 2010). TED is a poisoned well. I won’t waste my time watching TED. I think that I have watched maybe three presentations on Ted, and the last time about ten years ago. You are not the first to recommend TED on this thread.

A grazing “solution” is kind of the opposite of what my work is about, and is a Band-Aid at best. And yes, it will not work to counterbalance the hydrocarbons we are burning. Putting the carbon in a cow does not remove it from the carbon cycle. The basic arithmetic is in that Global Warming book that I recently reviewed. There are a bunch of those kinds of biological “solutions,” and all are based on wishful thinking. Fortunately, I spent less than a minute on that video. Lots of hacking at branches happening out there, which all assume scarcity, our industrial methods, etc. Take away those assumptions, and their work becomes meaningless, like that grazer guy’s suggestions would. This post is an hour that I won’t get back. But in the future when I get “hacking at branches” suggestions, I can just refer to this, so not all is lost.

    Best,

    Wade

    Thank you Wade, sincerely.

However, in the absence of the SOLUTION, stop-gap, or bandaid, measures that might stop the spread of desertification, restoring soil health and increasing the cover of vegetation has to better than doing nothing - I would have thought.

    Hi Ewan:

For a tiny fraction of the effort that would be devoted to turning the world into a big pasture, we would have free energy many times over. If people like me were allowed on TED, we would have had free energy long ago. I have enjoyed Rupert Sheldrake’s work over the years. His challenge to the materialism that dominates mainstream science is relatively tame, but his talk was banned from TED. TED only promotes establishment pabulum.

I am the only person on Earth doing what I am, to my knowledge, and it would be nice if my work was discussed here, not a bunch of the branch-hacking that dominates the Internet, YouTube, the media, etc. There are a million rabbit holes to nowhere out there, with “solutions” like that grazing guy’s.

A pal reacted to this exchange by noting her respect for permaculturists, who could be argued to be the ultimate deep ecologists. They have their place, but several years ago, a pupil told me about his days in permaculture, and one day, he mentioned free energy and my work to a famous permaculturist. Just mentioning my work led that permaculturist to try to ostracize my pupil from the permaculture community. This is typical of environmentalists of all stripes, who consider free energy to be the enemy.

All free energy newcomers think that environmentalists would be natural allies, to only get a shock when they find out that not only are environmentalists well aware of free energy, but they regard free energy as the enemy. My experience is that environmentalists are largely Luddites, and there is quite an arrogance that underlies their stances (as if they are the only enlightened ones), as well as a misreading of history. They fundamentally do not trust humanity, thinking that with free energy, humanity would quickly strip-mine Earth to the mantle and turn Earth into a cinder with free energy wars.

What such a stance ignores or fails to understand is that humanity has been living under the specter of a looming nuclear holocaust for longer than I have been alive, that all wars are born of scarcity, and that if those suppressed technologies came to public awareness and use, strip-mining Earth and having free energy wars would make absolutely zero sense. Humanity is not that stupid. Those activities would be universally seen as insane as playing Russian roulette. Nobody would play.

Asteroid Psyche 16 alone could provide all of humanity’s mineral needs for the next million years, and it would be child’s play to mine it with free energy and antigravity. Earth would never be mined again, and everybody would be richer than Bill Gates, just like you live a richer life than Earth’s richest man of three centuries ago did. Slavery ended with industrialization, not because of some sudden bout of conscience. Remove the economic incentive for such activities, and they wither away.

As humanity’s energy surplus has increased over the Epochs, humanity has become more humane, because people could afford to be. It is scarcity and fear that underlies all of humanity’s egocentric and evil behaviors. Eliminate scarcity and fear, and the world ends as we know it, and nobody will miss it.

In Brian’s last years, he remarked on this bizarre divide. Free energy would mean the end of pollution. That is easy to see, but environmentalists argue that we would have more pollution than ever. It took me many years to articulate what I was seeing: they are addicted to scarcity.

Greer understands the dilly-dallying “solutions” proposed by people like the grazing guy, which is why he is going after free energy today in the way that he is.

    Best,

    Wade
