Town is predominately a town of Trump voters. Gee what a surprise, as billions go to that dem shill in Ukraine and then laundered back to the politicians.

it's as ugly a situation as one could have . That black cloud stains the heavens , the symbol of dirty Washington, the symbol of the lies and deceit.

Budda fudge? Only makes a comment on too many white people working the rails? Really? Yet somehow doesn't mention one of the worst chem disasters this country has ever had.

I believe what you are saying is true, especially about the Trump supporters. I find it amazing how short-sighted it is to seek revenge. If they went in with all the financial and human resources possible and the did best possible job cleaning up this disaster and making people whole again they would have a legion of new Democrat voters. The residual effect around the country would also be significant. Instead, their behavior (or lack of it) is dividing the country even further. It almost seems intentional. The Democrat Party appears to have left the planet. I no longer even recognize them.

Dioxins destroy the immune system. And just like the vaccines (any), you'll have a fallout of deaths caused by a myriad of health issues. Not to mention, you'll pretty soon eradicate any connection between the Amish non-vaccinated folks and excess deaths.

The emotion in that blokes voice is very telling, i feel like somehow fighting for them, its so fcking wrong. where do these people go, when can they come back, will they be compensated.

"Residents exposed to vinyl chloride may already be undergoing DNA mutations that could linger for years or even decades before manifesting as terrible and deadly cancers. The lawsuit alleges that Norfolk Southern made it worse by essentially blasting the town with chemicals as they focused on restoring train service and protecting their shareholders," attorney John Morgan said in a statement, who was cited by local media WFMJ.

"At least five class action negligence lawsuits have now been filed by residents and business owners who were impacted by the fiery chemical train derailment," The Independent said.

This is a good report in my opinion. His take (16:30) corresponds with what a local told me last week that a two-mile long train may very well lack the needed responsiveness when problems occur while carrying highly dangerous cargo. This is just one issue, of course.

Of a little coincidence regarding safety decisions, I found myself unexpectedly paying a lot of cash today to replace all rotors on my 2-year-old car. The service person remarked that the original rotors aren't of the quality of earlier years where griding down the bad one was an option. It's easy to speculate that the rotors are now made of cheaper, lighter weight to meet the fuel economy standards.
