This aluminum device is shaped like a Fibonacci spiral and somehow compresses time. The Russian scientists would sit a subject in it, and they would see symbols and one of which was the eye of providence. They cataloged some 1,200 different ones that most closely resembled Sumerian symbols. A sense of fear would emanate from the device along with a mysterious black cloud. Objects in the sky were reported over their position.

    That was fun.

Answers seem to lie in two directions, the theoretical and the esoteric.
Not sure why we never consider the interval between planets and stars as time and only as space. Yet we measure distance as a unit of time - the light-year.
We might understand that we are looking backwards in time as we look upwards at the stars, but we consider that a consequence of the massive distances involved.
Why do we not imagine it is space that is the consequence of a massive interval of time separation?

The more we delve into the nature of the human condition at levels never broached before, except for perhaps in ancient times, the concept of the controlled environment is frequently a central issue. Whether that includes specific control using various technological advances or it is psychological manipulation using synced/coherent messaging to induce compliance, the end result is a restrictive world of global coercion. And that's not to mention the more esoteric forms of direct non-human interference at levels we cannot see or understand.
It may even be that our thoughts are not our own...

Interesting to hear mention of auras and light bodies, considering another of my posts from earlier today. Consciousness is not as it seems.
How can an experience be interpreted without any context? This is the conundrum. When an experience does not fit into the usual pattern of things, how can it be explained? If it defies logic as we know it yet there it is - what is it and what have we seen?

To activate, the device must be rotated one and a half times clockwise - counter to the earth's rotation. What's that do, funnel in the time energy?

    I enjoyed the vid. Thanks

I like the theory that the planets trail behind the sun like comet debris. Maybe the motion creates space/time. If the planets were on a plain, there would be times of the year you couldn't see them because they would be on the other side of the sun.

Okay, I'm going to share what happened yesterday. I was watching a video breakdown of the movie Total Recall. At 6:37 Arnold types onto a keyboard and it anagrammed to auras. From there I looked up auras on Mars and they're green like the Matrix code. Minutes ago, while trying to relocate that scene it now anagrams to Anu Era or REUAAN. While watching again it looked like he hits the M making it My Area. Did Earth AI make an alteration?

    Mars

NASA's Ingenuity Mars Helicopter took its 49th flight on March 29th, 2023.

The Perseverance Rover captured this image of the Mars Helicopter near Jezero Crater's river delta.

These images were taken by the MASTCAM onboard Curiosity on Sol 3796.

Dust is a never-ending issue for the Earth-bound engineers.

Those colonies we've heard about must be underground. Humans have been orbiting and photographing Mars for years, and Caltech has put together a massive mosaic of photographs to make the most detailed map of Mars to date.

    The Sky Tonight

April 15-16: The Whirlpool and Pinwheel galaxies (all night)

In the evenings during April, the Big Dipper is positioned high in the northeast. Under dark sky conditions, two impressive galaxies can be seen in binoculars and backyard telescopes by using the bright star Alkaid at the tip of the dipper's handle to find them. The Pinwheel Galaxy, or Messier 101, is a spectacular, large, face-on spiral galaxy positioned a slim palm's width to the lower left (or 5.5 degrees north) of Alkaid, forming an equilateral triangle with Mizar, the double star at the bend of the dipper's handle. This relatively close galaxy (21 million light-years away) is nearly as large as the full moon in the sky.

April 16-17: Crescent moon and Saturn (before sunrise)

Look a short distance above the southeastern horizon before dawn on Sunday, Apr. 16 to see the slender crescent of the old moon shining several finger widths below (or 4.7 degrees southeast of) the magnitude 1.0 dot of yellowish Saturn, allowing them to share the view in binoculars (orange circle).

April 20: New moon and hybrid solar eclipse (at 04:12 GMT)

At 12:12 a.m. EDT (04:12 GMT) on Thursday, Apr. 20, the moon will officially reach its new moon phase. That converts to 9:12 p.m. PDT on April 19. While new, the moon is traversing the space between Earth and the sun. Since sunlight is only shining on the far side of a new moon, and the moon is in the same region of the sky as the sun, our natural satellite becomes completely hidden from view for about a day — unless a solar eclipse occurs!

This new moon will generate a rare hybrid solar eclipse. The sun will be partially eclipsed for an area encompassing Australia, Indonesia, northern New Zealand, and much of the western Pacific Ocean. Observers on a very narrow track that crosses the Ningaloo Coast of Western Australia, Timor-Leste, and West Papua, Indonesia will see a brief total eclipse. And of course, always wear proper solar filters when viewing a solar eclipse in person.

    Maps (Cont'd)

Astronomers Create Most Detailed Map of Dark Matter

Although no one knows what it is, now we know where it is.

Using data from NSF’s Atacama Cosmology Telescope, astronomers have produced the most detailed map of dark matter distributed across one quarter of the sky. Their work provides further support to Einstein’s theory of general relativity, which has been the foundation of the Standard Model of cosmology for more than a century.

Although dark matter makes up a large chunk of the Universe, approximately 85%, it has remained hard to detect because dark matter does not interact with light or other forms of electromagnetic radiation. Scientists believe dark matter may only interact with gravity.

To track dark matter down, Stony Brook University astronomer Neelima Sehgal and more than 160 astronomers worldwide have built and gathered data from NSF’s Atacama Cosmology Telescope in the high Chilean Andes.

“Remarkably, this map provides measurements showing that both the ‘lumpiness’ of the Universe, and the rate at which it is growing after 14 billion years of evolution, are just what you’d expect from our Standard Model of cosmology based on Einstein’s theory of gravity,” said Dr. Mathew Madhavacheril, an astronomer at the University of Pennsylvania.

M2-9: Wings of a Butterfly Nebula by Judy Schmidt

Are stars better appreciated for their art after they die? Actually, stars usually create their most artistic displays as they die. In the case of low-mass stars like our Sun and M2-9 pictured here, the stars transform themselves from normal stars to white dwarfs by casting off their outer gaseous envelopes. The expended gas frequently forms an impressive display called a planetary nebula that fades gradually over thousands of years. M2-9, a butterfly planetary nebula 2100 light-years away shown in representative colors, has wings that tell a strange but incomplete tale. In the center, two stars orbit inside a gaseous disk 10 times the orbit of Pluto. The expelled envelope of the dying star breaks out from the disk creating the bipolar appearance. Much remains unknown about the physical processes that cause and shape planetary nebulae.

Two wise old owls show they're no bird brains when it comes to camouflage as they hide in plain sight on a dry stone wall. The pair were snapped by eagle-eyed wildlife photographer Villager Jim using an old wall and barn as perfect cover.

“Much remains unknown...”. Yeah, to dumbass legacy-conforming scientists. That is clearly a Z-pinch structure, showing material from the outgassing of whatever conflagration, constrained by the electrical current that enlivens that star system.

    Naughty Medieval Jokes and Humour

Remember the expression ‘You’ve got to laugh or else you’ll cry’. Well, we all need a little bit of laughter in our lives and the Medievals were no different. Let’s face it, having to deal with poverty, being supremely pious, and suffering from horrific diseases like the Black Death was enough to make anybody miserable and the Medievals had to grab whatever joy they could. Let’s travel back in time for some more funny stories and naughty jokes from the Middle Ages, where, traditionally, the butt of the joke would either be the corruption of the clergy or the voracious sexual appetites and stupidity of the peasants.

    Who flies the Mars Helicopter?

Håvard Grip Pilots NASA's Ingenuity Mars Helicopter

I couldn't pilot a helicopter here on Earth, but I do it on Mars all the time. My job can be like a video game, but not the kind with a joystick.

I'm the chief pilot for NASA's Ingenuity helicopter, which landed on Mars with the Perseverance rover in February 2021. At the time, I was pretty certain the helicopter was only going to make up to five flights. And if we got five flights, man, I would be overjoyed.

Today, we've flown the helicopter 40 50 times. It's been a totally different thing than I dared to imagine. I can almost believe anything that you tell me Ingenuity can do, because it just keeps going. I love my job. It's a little unusual and a little different than piloting an aircraft on Earth, in part because it's so far.

It takes about five to 20 minutes to send a message to Mars. That means everything moves on a slower timeline. The execution of a single flight takes multiple days. It's not a real-time thing. You're not sitting and joy-sticking something and looking at it.

It's like a very particular kind of strategic video game, perhaps. It's thinking about all of the eventualities and gathering all of the information and making very careful decisions. Because when it's game over, it's game over.

There's no recovering a crashed helicopter on Mars.

Ingenuity Mars Helicopter Celebrates 50 Flights

NASA’s Ingenuity Mars Helicopter made history when it achieved the first powered, controlled flight on another planet on April 19, 2021. Since then, it has exceeded expectations and most recently executed its 50th flight on Mars. This video highlights Ingenuity’s flights, captured by the Perseverance Rover’s WATSON and Mastcam-Z cameras, as well as Ingenuity’s color Return to Earth (RTE) camera and its black-and-white navigation camera.

Spacesuit Prototype Revealed For Artemis 3 Moon Landing

When NASA astronauts return to the Moon, they’ll be using new and updated spacesuits

The Axiom Extravehicular Activity Unit, or AxEMU, is based in part on designs developed by NASA over the last decade. The prototype was revealed on March 15, 2023, during an event at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Axiom Space is one of two providers developing spacesuits for NASA under the agency’s Exploration Extravehicular Activity Services, or xEVAS, contract. The other company is Collins Aerospace, which is developing spacesuits for the International Space Station — replacing the current units which are more than 40 years old.

Both companies are able to compete for task orders — be they for low Earth orbit missions, or lunar sorties — through 2034, with a maximum contract value of $3.5 billion, according to NASA. Each company retains ownership of their suits and can use them for other customers, not just the U.S. space agency.

    Zoom Into Cassiopeia A

This video takes the viewer on a journey to Cassiopeia A (Cas A), a supernova remnant located about 11,000 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia. It spans approximately 10 light-years. The new images use data from Webb’s Mid-InfraRed Instrument (MIRI) to reveal Cas A in a new light.
