    Text:
🇺🇦🇺🇸 Poroshenko and Biden's telephone conversation was leaked to the Network, in which they discussed the removal of the Ukrainian prosecutor from office in exchange for a loan of $ 1 billion

Ukrainian President Poroshenko admitted that he fired the prosecutor who was investigating Hunter Biden's Burisma Holdings without any charges of corruption being brought against him.

➖Biden: “Tell me there is a new government and a new Attorney General. I'm ready to publicly sign a billion dollar commitment."

➖Poroshenko: "Despite the fact that we did not have any allegations of corruption, we have no information that he did something wrong, I asked him to resign."

I'm uncertain exactly when this conversation took place but will endeavour to find out, and where possible try an obtain a clean copy of the audio.

For now I've saved what has been shared here via this Twitter commentator:

Okay, from February 18, 2016 and the New York Post article from May 2020. Apologies if this as been posted elsewhere but it seems to fit well here on this thread. Also, for clarification, there were multiple calls compiled together, below.

An interesting new article in Australia's mainstream media. The truth is gradually coming out publicly about what's really happening in Ukraine's military. And mercenaries will have their own communications networks, and what actually happens to mercs in Ukraine will be very well-known to all of them now.

    The text:

Here is a real meat grinder! - a mercenary from Australia spoke about the massacre in Ukraine and the incompetence of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - ABC News

"This is a real meat grinder. I saw things here that, from a military point of view, are completely unacceptable," said the Australian action movie in an interview with ABC News.
    — A mercenary from the international legion said that the inept actions of Ukrainian commanders endanger not only the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but also foreign fighters.
    — Foreign mercenaries are often not paid salaries. He personally was not paid for several months, and many were not paid anything.
    — And those who try to leave the country are being frightened with prison and persecution for the truth about the "incompetence of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."

Key points from Putin's statements at a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation:
    • There are no results of the Ukrainian counter-offensive.
    • The whole world sees that Western equipment is on fire.
    • Western curators in Kiev are clearly disappointed with the results of the so-called counter-offensive.
    • Ukraine's mobilization resource is depleted. Losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amount to tens of thousands of people.
    • The Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian military unit is planned to be used for the subsequent occupation of Ukraine.
    • In Europe, public opinion is changing. They understand that supporting Ukraine is a dead end.
    • Unleashing a war by Poland against Belarus means a war against Russia.

Putin's war crimes are having the effect of leaving him (and Russia) a smaller and smaller area of world influence and physical freedom. Witness his decision to stay safe at home rather than attend meetings in South Africa where he had been expecting to influence a small number of Russian supporters (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa).

Ironically, his attack dog, Prigozhin, has the full run of the continent where his neo-nazi Wagner killers are still able to make money as mercenaries for various dictators that will have them liquidate any opposition, thus allowing Wagner to run slave enterprises in minerals extraction that have profits flowing into Prigozhin's and Putin's pockets.

Also ironic is Putin's fantasy of being welcomed in Africa given his decision to throttle grain exports to the starving across the continent, thus imposing death by starvation upon many thousands of poor humans. But, dictators gonna dictate, and given the bonding that such actions generate, he was probably hoping that Ramaphosa would be able to make it all go away. Apparently the risks are too great for the cowardly South African dictator. It will be revealing to witness the welcome extended to Putin's lackey Lavrov.

Putin's fear and his shrunken world are described by the historian and commentator Heather Cox Richardson in her latest piece, published today. I have included it (with references), in whole, below.

Russian president Vladimir Putin’s decision not to attend the BRICS summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, illustrates how fully his 2022 invasion of Ukraine has made him an international pariah. BRICS is an organization made up of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, all considered fast-growing economies that would dominate the global economy by 2050 at the time it began to organize in 2006.

A lot has changed since then.

Because the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant for Putin for war crimes, specifically his regime’s deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia, he was at risk of arrest and extradition if he went to South Africa. Although that country has maintained neutrality in the war, it signed on to the treaty governing the ICC and thus has an obligation to arrest and surrender those under indictment by the ICC.

After much speculation about whether he would attend the summit while he pressured South African president Cyril Ramaphosa to agree not to arrest him, yesterday Putin announced that by “mutual agreement” with Ramaphosa, he will not attend and Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov will go in his place. Alexandra Sharp of Foreign Policy noted that his inability to attend the summit shows how his position as an accused war criminal has isolated Putin and “highlights just how much the Russian leader’s global standing has changed thanks to his war on Ukraine.”

Also yesterday, the U.S. Department of Defense announced another security assistance package for Ukraine, worth $1.3 billion and including surface to air missile systems, mine-clearing equipment, fuel trucks, and tactical vehicles to tow, haul, and recover equipment. That matériel will take time to provide, but much of it signals an army retaking territory.

As if to demonstrate what power he has left, Putin’s forces attacked the key Ukrainian shipping ports of Mykolaiv and Odesa, destroying 60,000 tons of grain that Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky said was destined for Africa and Asia, including China. Then Putin announced that he was ending Russian participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative as of July 20 and would consider any ships that sailed to or from Ukraine’s ports on the Black Sea a “Hostile Military Transport.” Putin’s declaration that he might target the civilian ships of foreign powers threatened to escalate the war, but he quickly backed down on that threat today. Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. said Russia is not preparing to attack civilian ships.

The Black Sea grain deal, which facilitates the export of Ukrainian grain to the world market so long as the ships travel in certain channels, already gave Russia more influence over international shipping than its 10% of the Black Sea coastline warranted. And, to maintain that control, Russia planted sea mines in the waters around Ukrainian ports outside the safe channels.

Now the White House has warned that U.S. officials have information that Russia has added more mines in those waters with the intention of blaming Ukraine if those mines cause damage to foreign ships.

There are (at least) three key aspects of this announcement. First, Putin is threatening vulnerable countries with starvation and trying to jack up grain prices around the world, which will hit all countries but primarily poorer ones. The United Kingdom’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Barbara Woodward, pointed out that 33 million tons of grain have been exported under the grain deal, and that the primary beneficiaries have been Ethiopia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Turkey, Sudan, Kenya, and Somalia.

Second, he was daring the other countries on the Black Sea, three of which belong to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), to call his bluff.

Third, he is trying to destroy Ukrainian shipping infrastructure to hamstring its post-war future. Odesa is a historic and fabled city; it is also the key to shipping grain out of Ukraine. Capturing it, with its symbolic and practical value, was likely Putin’s primary goal in the first place. His willingness to destroy the city seems to indicate that he has given up on claiming it.

In response, Ukrainian forces began to use the so-called cluster munitions the U.S. provided earlier this month, firing the weapons at the Russian troops in Ukraine. Cluster munitions explode over a target, blanketing a large area with deadly smaller munitions. They are banned in more than 120 countries because those smaller munitions often hit the ground unexploded and lie there until civilians run across them, with deadly results.

Ukraine, Russia, and the U.S. have not banned the weapons, and Ukraine asked the U.S. to provide them for use within Ukraine, against Russian troops. Biden did so, after months of debate within the White House and strong disagreement from those who want the weapons banned altogether. President Biden eventually decided to send the cluster munitions, apparently in part because the areas of Ukraine where they would be deployed are already uninhabitable because of Russian mines and in part because Ukrainians themselves requested the weapons to throw out the Russian invaders, who have been using cluster munitions against Ukrainian civilians.

“Of course it’s a tragedy, but everything right now is a tragedy,” former defense minister of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk told Josh Kovensky of Talking Points Memo about using the munitions. “So the question is how to end the tragedy and, unfortunately, the only way so far to get peace is to win the peace.”

The U.S. Treasury and the U.S. State Department today announced additional sanctions on companies that have given Russia access to products that feed the war, provide revenue from minerals and mining, give it access to the international financial system, or provide military technology.

A human being is a part of the whole, called by us "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest—a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.

    Default Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia

It is a little more complicated than the above post suggests.

More context: The Democratic Alliance which controls the Western Cape is a US ally.

The DA went to court to force the ANC to arrest Putin and won:

DA claims victory as govt agrees to arrest Putin if he ever sets foot in SA

    Extract:

Quote The South African government has conceded that it failed to execute its international responsibilities by failing to issue a warrant for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin if he enters the country.

On Friday, the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria confirmed that the justice department had finally sent the Putin arrest warrant to National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) Shamila Batohi on Monday.

This was more than two months after the international relations and co-operation department sent its justice colleagues the warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ICC issued the warrant on the basis of Putin's responsibility for war crimes allegedly committed during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The DA went to court to compel the government to arrest Putin if he travels to South Africa for the BRICS summit, scheduled for August in Johannesburg.

But after the government announced that Putin would not travel to South Africa, the DA asked the court to compel it to execute the arrest warrant any time the Russian president travels to the country.

    The government agreed.
Victoria Nuland is also on her way to South Africa:

If you read the comments in the tweets above one can see a huge division in South Africa between the DA led Western Cape which is a US ally, but not a separate country - it is just a province - and the rest of the country which is under ANC control.

The ANC has traditionally been a Putin and Russian ally.

The Western Cape and DA in addition is regarded as "white dominated and controlled" and is well run in the affluent areas - some of the wealthiest people in the world live there or have properties there - and has less service delivery and infrastructure problems. But is well known to be pro Ukraine and anti Russia. And it is hugely resented by a large portion of the Black population in South Africa.

    The situation is complex.

Putin will participate in BRICS summit by video link – Kremlin

    July 19, 2023

The Russian leader’s contribution will be “comprehensive” despite joining the event remotely, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said

Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the summit of BRICS leaders in South Africa via video link, spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said. The host nation announced earlier on Wednesday that the Russian leader will not attend the high-profile event in person.

Putin’s contribution to the gathering next month will be “comprehensive” despite its remote nature, Peskov told the Russian media on Wednesday. Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will travel to Johannesburg in person to serve as Moscow’s representative, he added, confirming a previous statement by the South African government.

Earlier in the day, the office of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the two nations had agreed that Putin would not travel to the country, sending Lavrov instead.

South Africa is a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which in March charged Putin with “kidnaping” Ukrainian children. Moscow dismissed the accusation as politically motivated, baseless, and coming from a Western-compromised entity.
Due to its status, South Africa would technically be obliged to attempt to arrest Putin and hand him over to the ICC, if he were to arrive on its soil. Ramaphosa’s office earlier warned that such a move could lead to war with Russia.

Peskov denied on Wednesday that Moscow had issued any threats to that extent, but argued that there was “no need for any explanation” of the risk.

BRICS is a club of large non-Western economies which comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. In recent years, it has held virtual summits due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Yes, Lavrov is one of the most accomplished politicians in the world, and almost certainly the most popular among foreign journalists and diplomats. He'll do a fine job, as always, of representing Russia in person, and there'll be standing room only in his press conferences.

And Putin will also be there virtually, so in that respect Russia will be represented by two of its three most competent and most respected spokespeople. (Maria Zakharova of course is the third. )

The failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive and its lack of any viable way to win the conflict seems to be sinking in.

Who wants to write or read about the huge strategic mistake the Biden administration committed when it blackmailed Ukraine as well as its other vassals, especially when the beltway gang is strongly in favor of another Biden presidency. The alternative, another round of artificially Trump-ed up chaos, seems unbearable to them.

This despite further evidence that Biden's policies and influence were always for sale, especially to foreign bidders.

That is, by the way, another scandal that is not allowed to be on the front pages the Washington 'elite' is filling for the commons' consumption.

An impressive short (8-second) video that shows what modern warfare is all about now. It's a tiny event in the conflict, but more and more of these attacks are fully-automated and controlled from quite some distance away.
    1. The Russians knew the Ukrainian camera (placed inconspicuously at the top of a tall factory stack) was there, and
    2. It was destroyed by a pinpoint accurate quadcopter drone strike.
There are other videos which show how these simple, lightweight but very fast drones are controlled by young Russian guys using a thing like a small touchscreen iPad. For them, it's exactly like playing a video game.

Putin: Poland Plans to Form Coalition Within NATO to Directly Intervene, Seize Land in Ukraine Yesterday

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Back in November 2022, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin has warned that the Polish leadership intends to hold referendums in Western Ukraine to substantiate its claims to Ukrainian lands.

Polish leaders plan to form a coalition under the guise of NATO and intervene in the conflict in Ukraine in order to seize land and return, as they believe, their "historical territories," Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday.
"As for the Polish leaders, they probably expect to form a coalition within NATO... and directly intervene in the conflict in Ukraine in order to then 'tear off' a fatter piece [of land] for themselves, to regain, as they believe, their historical territories – today's Western Ukraine," Putin said at a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council.

The union between Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, the reports on which appear in the media, is being made for the subsequent occupation of Ukraine, Putin emphasized.
"There have been media reports about plans to create a certain so-called Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian union: that is, we are not talking about some gathering of mercenaries, there are enough of them, and they are being destroyed, namely a regular, assembled, equipped military unit that is planned to be used for actions on the territory of Ukraine, including for allegedly ensuring the security of the current Western Ukraine. And in fact, if you call things by their proper names — for the subsequent occupation of these territories," Putin said at a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council.

In April 2022, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin has said that the United States and Poland are planning to establish Warsaw's military and political control over "its historical territories" in Ukraine. Eventhough the Stanislaw Zaryn, the spokesman for Polish Interior Minister Mariusz Kaminski has denied this information, soon after Naryshkin made the statement, the Polish authorities announced major military drills and large-scale relocation of the military in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
Later in Novermber, Sergey Naryshkin said that Polish special services "leaked" information to the Ukrainian media about the alleged preparation in the Lvov region of Ukraine of a referendum on the topic of joining Poland.
Former President Viktor Yanukovych also said that Ukraine’s statehood is under threat and it may be forced to merge with Poland.
"No matter how painful it is for me to write about this today, but the statehood of Ukraine is in extreme danger. It is threatened with complete destruction. At the same time, we are talking not only about the risk of losing vast territories in the south and east of the country," Yanukovych said in May 2022, adding that Ukraine "may be forced" to de-facto merge with Poland.

Putin gives warning of Poland's intentions in Ukraine and Belarus

Warsaw is looking to take control over western parts of Ukraine, the Russian president claims

Polish leaders are planning to form a NATO-backed coalition to intervene in the Ukraine conflict and take over parts of western Ukraine as well as, possibly, Belarus, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed on Friday.

Speaking at a meeting with permanent members of Russia's Security Council, Putin said the government in Kiev is willing to go to any lengths to stay in power, including selling out its own people and handing over Ukrainian territories to "foreign owners."

The first in line, according to the Russian president, are the Poles, who he claimed "probably expect to form some kind of coalition under the 'NATO umbrella' and directly intervene in the conflict in Ukraine, in order to then 'tear off' a bigger piece for themselves, to regain, as they believe, their historical territories - today's western Ukraine."

During Friday's meeting, the head of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, also alleged that Warsaw was considering capturing western territories of Ukraine by deploying its own troops to the region as part of a Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian security initiative.

According to Naryshkin, Polish officials are gradually coming to the realization that "the issue of Ukraine's defeat is only a matter of time," regardless of the amount of Western military assistance sent to Kiev.

Commenting on the SVR report, Putin suggested that the true purpose of such a coalition would only be to occupy Ukrainian territories. "The prospect is obvious - if the Polish units enter, for example, Lvov or other territories of Ukraine, then they will remain there. And they will remain there forever."

Putin also noted that it is "well known" that Warsaw "dreams" of also claiming parts of Belarusian territory as well.

The Russian leader warned, however, that while Ukraine has the right to sell off as much of its own territory as it wants, when it comes to Belarus, any aggression against a part of the Union State would mean aggression against Russia.

"We will respond to this with all the means at our disposal," Putin stated.

    Exclamation Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia

    • 'Wow, Unbelievable': Shocking Figures About The War In Ukraine

The Ukrainian counter-offensive against Russia has failed. Ukraine doesn't stand a chance. That's what former UN weapons inspector and Marine Scott Ritter said in conversation with Redacted's Clayton Morris.

The Ukrainians are facing a problem: there are almost no soldiers left. They started with an army of about 1.2 million men. “They are no longer there. They are gone." "Wow," Morris replied.
    • We have no ammunition
They are running out of deployable forces, Ritter emphasized.

“The number of casualties is staggering. Countries that support Ukraine are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of men. Ukraine cannot win this war, he said. “There is no scenario in which Ukraine wins. They no longer have trained troops.”

Ukraine fires between 5,000 and 7,000 artillery shells a day. The United States produces 85,000 a year. In less than a month, Ukraine is therefore rushing through an entire year's supply. "Wow," said Morris again.

What the Pentagon and the president are not telling you is that we cannot win any conflict if we went to war today, Ritter said. “We have no ammunition. We gave everything to the Ukrainians.”
    • We are not ready for this conflict:
Russia fires 60,000 artillery shells every day. “We are not ready for this conflict.” The Russians produce a sloppy 3.4 million a year and will only increase production from now on.

In addition, 200,000 Lancet drones roll off the production line every year. That should be two million a year. These drones are cheap, manoeuvrable and can do a lot of damage. "Incredible," Morris replied.
    • Large-scale counterattack:
What nobody talks about is that Russia has been training an army of 200,000 troops since October, equipped with the most modern equipment. Their job is to wait for the steam to dissipate from the Ukrainian attacks and then launch a full-scale counter-attack.

100,000 of these troops are stationed at Kharkiv to push back the Ukrainians, Ritter knows.
    • Collapse completely:
Ukraine has mobilized 60,000 troops for the counteroffensive, of which 20,000 have now been killed. The remaining 40,000 will die. The Russians are coming with 200,000 troops. There are rumors that another 100,000 will be stationed in the Kherson region. "Why? Odessa."

Ritter expects Kharkov and Odessa to be taken by the Russians in the summer or fall. He also foresees that the Ukrainian army will collapse completely.

    Quote Posted by arwen (here)
It is a little more complicated than the above post suggests.

Ms Neuland – what a charming and heartwarming (in one word heartschwarming) personality beaming from the pictures! She looks like she just left the stage after performing with Zorro Zillionski as on that clip where he, the needle high heeled seducer, punctuated his song chorus with hot glances into her bosom bare down to the steel clad nipples.

May South Africa’s baboon people reserve her a well-deserved welcome!
