    Default Very Weird Stuff!

As a youngster, the Unexplained was the subject of my first intellectual enquiry. And I expect, to the end of my days, it will be the last one.

I have a deep prejudice against events and phenomena I don't understand, or cannot explain. A need to know smoulders inside me, though I'm not searching for the rational explanation... You can't box in the truth in such narrow margins. Sometimes you have to think bigger, sometimes you have to expand your mind.

I wanted to create this thread to gather and collate what seems to be a startling escalation of weird, strange, and generally unexplained goings on.

It's something that's always been with us: strange stories, creepy sightings, but of late they appear to be getting stranger -- and creepier. The number of clips coming out these days has never been higher. They're all over Reddit, Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok and others. Not all can be fake -- not when they come from so many different posters and from across the world. A lot are randomly recorded from accounts with established posting histories on entirely prosaic topics, like camping, car maintenance, bird watching, whatever, and then, out of the blue they capture a phenomenon, an anomaly that defies explanation.

I suppose if you can accept the reality of extraordinary phenomena and paranormal activity then you must accept that someone with a camera-phone (being most of us) can and will at some point capture it on film.

That's what this thread is for: unexplained happenings, or phenomena, caught on film, or in picture format. Post, share, and discuss.

For an example, to start things off, take a look at this story that blew up the internet a few weeks ago, and which has yet to be adequately explained.

    Context:
A woman aboard an American Airlines flight caused quite the scene when she was caught on camera freaking out and heading for the exit over an apparent passenger she said was “not real.” The bizarre, expletive-laden meltdown that went viral Monday reportedly occurred as the flight was preparing to depart Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
"Allegedly" this woman, according to some reports, has since gone missing.

This was followed up by two similar incidents in as many days on other planes and in other parts of the world.

This guy also went berserk on a flight. The evidence implies that more than a simple argument triggered it. Something genuinely freaked him out here. At 12sec he shouts to the attendant: "OPEN THE DOOR! OPEN THE DOOR!" and it sounds like "[inaudible] REACH THE PILOT!" Whatever happened, or whatever he saw, it made him want to exit the plane while airborne. Again, no quick and simple explanation!

And then this Chinese guy, who freaked out mid-flight shouting about being stuck in a "time-loop", and this was his 6th cycle; the plane is doomed to crash/disappear -- like Malaysia Airlines MH370. This one like the other two went viral. Obviously this plane didn't crash, so maybe there's nothing to see here beyond some poor guy having a panic attack. I've seen several slightly different subtitled versions, so it's possible the translations are fake. We can't know for sure what he's really saying, but he's certainly very upset. Here's a raw version of the clip:

Time-loops, unreal passengers...what is going on here? Are the pressures of a degenerating world finally getting to us? Are these people on drugs, or just insane? -- or is something else, something very strange actually going on?

Glitches in the matrix? You tell me!

To start things off, here's a 32 minute collection of the weird and bizarre. Do check it out! But be prepared...some of the footage is truly mind boggling, and quite creepy.

Thanks Mark for the new topic, my first inclination on reading it was to suggest that this has always been going on but prior to now we never had the means to tell the whole world about it.

But upon looking at all the examples provided I am tempted to lean towards the idea of implanted thoughts from an outside source.

Quite why that would be happening right now is perhaps a matter of refining and fine-tuning the ability to do this. It is a bleak future if that technology gets mastered.

For me, it isn't just the 'simplest' explanation; but rather, that there is a possible: logical explanation.

Humanity is subject to their senses playing tricks on them; however, it is more rare for a camera to be subject to such tricks.

The airline flights for instance. There are tens of thousands of flights worldwide per day and at least 25% of the population worldwide suffers from mental illness of some kind. So these examples could possibly be filmed in much greater numbers in this era. It is possible to miss an opportunity to film, but you might think there could be over 1oo incidents [per day]. This is a really low guess considering if someone has a mental illness, and indeed if they would be triggered. With this in mind, it actually lends some credibility to these three isolated events as extraordinarily rare occurrences. The logical explanation is these few were triggered, even naturally without interference of some kind. They may not have had a diagnosis, and they might have been just unwell for a few moments. There are many reasons for to be unwell in a plane. Some -just anxiety- can be easily triggered on this transportation.

Regarding the video, I didn't really see anything mind-blowing or shocking. People LOVE the paranormal; but people LOVE creating the paranormal even moreso. People want to believe so badly. I don't mean to be such a cynic, but it cannot be helped. Occasionally, there is the rare video that just seems like it is real and it is quite possibly so. The majority of them, quite possibly b.s.. But the overall aspect: is as much fun for the observer, the recorder, or the creator.

The famous "Dobby" clip has still not been explained. This entity was captured on a home security system. As far as I recall it was analysed -- it was not CGI. What's in the footage is what was there in real life. Ruling out an advanced, fully ambulatory robot, the only other explanation is alien/paranormal. Unless you think it's a kid goofing around. With that head, those legs, persoanlly, I don't think so.

    Sky looks split, And it’s not normal- July 23, 2023 | @MAGAlydiafree

I'm not sure if the "sky split" is the result of shadows cast by clouds at sunset, or an indication of larger changes occuring. However, given all the recent strangeness, we should be on the lookout for other sky weirdness.

I just had a thought. I'm not thinking this explains it, but more like I found another possibility in amongst the thousand of other explanations none of which I can see or comprehend.

It doesn't explain the other passenger freak-outs though.

We do have a sophisticated level of AI at the moment, the timing is about right for androids to be let loose and mill about. What a fascinating experiment?

I'm not ruling out she twigged on spotting a life-like human android, in the same way that chimpanzees don't like humans in wigs, and dogs don't like humans in full face-masks. Perhaps the crazy lady had a similar reaction. Not saying I think I am explaining or understanding it, this idea just came to mind.

But still, my gut wants me to write these things off as mundane occurrences. But I am more open to a gear shift towards crazy. But even with bizarre things actually happening, humans' capacity to acquire false-memory is so illusive I think we sometimes perceive this effect as supernatural. That said, I also believe that there are also supernatural/spooky things that happen. I'll add in that I don't trust the guy with the old phone showing the Mandala effect.

I don't have a video or even a reference for this story, which I heard quite some time ago. Does anyone else recall it??

A guy arrived in Toyko on a flight, with a passport from a European country that didn't exist. Of course, he was detained by the Japanese immigration officials, who treated him well and respectfully but escorted him to a paid-for airport hotel room where he was asked to remain until the morning. There was a police guard at the door, just as routine, and the windows were the kind that could not be opened. All this time, the traveler, who was a well-dressed businessman, seemed extremely distressed and bewildered by what was happening.

In the morning the airport authorities knocked on the door to ask the man to accompany them to continue the investigation. There was no response, so they obtained the key and entered the room themselves.

But the hotel room was empty. The man had completely disappeared.

thanks for this thread, I like the weirdo and ugly sometimes haha

@Ewan said something very important: "my first inclination on reading it was to suggest that this has always been going on but prior to now we never had the means to tell the whole world about it."
I saw a woman completely undressed walking down the street in my home town, I was around 10 year old, and she was talking to someone, it was night and she was alone, I know what I saw lol

The first video she seems pretty much like acting, she is definitely acting, what motivates her doing that anyway, perhaps she is making money on tiktok? I don't bite it, she is a bad actor lol

Second video seems real, the dude just freaked out with something, maybe vaccine side effects? not sure, saw some weird things happening around me, I even posted somewhere here about this woman on her motorcycle dropped in the traffic, right in front of me, I helped her but she seems like literally was rebooted.. not sure what is going on about that.

Third video the guy seems very delusional I have no other explanation for that, maybe he was drunk, I saw lots of drunk Chinese when I lived in China and Taiwan, they speak more than the size of their mouth.

The fourth video is pretty good, a lot of weird stuffs there.

check this out, very strange cloud in Bangkok, seems like something may be hide in the clouds and it is creating that little vortex right on top of the cloud.. very weird

and look this ****, pay attention to that little dancing lol
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFy6LVlNc6c

I think it is all mixed, real phenomena with fabricated ones!

Here is one thing that I witnessed years ago, I saw not once, but multiple times, I used to live near of an old temple, the little temple is placed right in the mountain, built on top of a big rock slab, sometimes I was on the balcony of my home and I could see a beam of light right out the top of the temple's roof, pointing upwards, the light was yellowish but sometimes changed to other tones, but mostly yellowish, for what I heard some of these old temples used to store energy they collect from thin air, these are thousand old years temples, but the one I am specifically talking is probably 150 years old, I went up there to visit the place in a few occasions, straight to the chamber where the beam seems to be formed, but it was locked and there is a huge beehive stuck in there right close to the metal door, but what I could see is a bunch of old metal cranks, levers, steel cables, metal wheels, and lots of paraphernalia. Nothing there seems operational, the place seems to be closed for a long time, then I have no idea what that beam of light could be, one way to know would be to ask to a resident monk.
Sorry I don't have any photos/videos, the event happened not all the time and when it did I was so caught by it, that I could watch the whole thing vanish and just imagine what that could be, since as I said nobody is operating anything from that chamber..

Reading on this.. they said it followed a previous book along the same line.

Yes the man from Taured, as mentioned back in this thread, and as cited in the video above, which I could only bear for a few minutes (that stupid talking fish!).

I believe the "Mystery Man from Taured" is a bit of an urban legend. It does seem to have a basis in a real event and a real person but, like with chinese whispers, the truth went a little off track.

The real individual was thought to be a US spy by the name of John Zergus, who in 1959 really did try to enter Japan with false papers, and was eventually detained for identity fraud.

Apparently the story of Zegrus grew a few branches when it was published in The Province magazine a few years later. He became an Ethiopian intelligence officer originally from "Tuareg", a region in Algeria. Tuareg = Taured.

This then spiralled to a man coming from a parallel universe and a country that didn't exist.

It's unknown exactly what went on here, but I find it reasonably compelling that the myth, though having a true source, bears little resemblance to that source. It should be also mentioned here that Snopes played a part in clearing up the "facts" to "explain" this case. So make of that what you will!

Completely track what you are saying here.

The easiest explanation is that she experienced a mental deviation. Then again, I ask the reader if they ever experienced something truly unusual and tried to explain it to another who has not experienced such things. The response received back is a dicey endeavor. It is not a pleasant thing to be looked as if crazy regardless of confidence and validity of the experience. Reminded of people that have experienced horrific things in war. Some, at least, are not going to recount it to a civilian because they will get a skewed picture of the event having never experienced something like it themselves no matter how open they are. The ineffable is just that for a reason.
Convinced there are people that have seen things that seem right out of a sci-fi or horror movie of which they may never share for reasons highlighted above. Avalon members, in general, are more open to consider the validity of unusual experiences but even then....

Processing a most unsettling and ongoing experience that part wants to share with others while another part says, stay quiet nothing good could come from sharing. How have others gotten past that dichotomy? It is as if experiencing something so unusual splits a person in two. Part that fully experienced and retains that experience while another part says, "forget about it" pretend it never happened (which would be so much easier if it was not ongoing). Still, it is easier to write it off as a mental/ perceptual deviation and find answers within that framework.

It does help to know other are experiencing truly bizarre things and so, not alone. The tricky thing is that I have no doubt with the monetizing of such things as You Tube, people are creating content that never really happened or based loosely on a real event.

Yes, there is some really weird stuff going on, no matter how good ones toolbox is at explaining them away.

This is the kind of story that Walt(er) Woods used to explain to his audience when I attended his lecture in Paradise Ca, that there are windows to other time- space dimension. (He used the story of a woman who happened to go out in her garden and when she opened the gate from the garden to outside and stepped out she found herself in a completely different world from what she knew). The gate she went through disappeared so the only way back was for her to recall the exact details of her world which when she did, she came back.
Apparently people can find themselves in another era by stepping as he put it through a window and most cases find themselves in a past era. He told us that in order to get back to our time and space we have to remember very clearly the details of our “world” before the incident happens in order to get back. It even happened to him more than once going through a “window” as he called it.
I never forgot his lecture. He was a well known dowser too and wrote the paper, Letters to Robin about dowsing which he says is free to download from the internet. Dowsing can be used for locating illness in the body, or for clearing negative energy in a home, etc.
He also shared with us that he had been inside Mount Shasta and saw some ancient beings that are unknown to mankind on the outside. He was writing a book on that but after he died all his paperwork disappeared.

The overriding thought that comes is why? (What's the point/ meaning of it?) Is it in preparation for stranger events to follow? Experienced that as well, just when one gets relatively comfortable with the unknown, it gets stranger (as if that was even possible).

Anxiety wells up simply recounting it in general terms.

A scene from a movie just manifested in thought with a measure of peace:

Quote I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me; But it's hard to stay mad when there's so much beauty in the world.

Sometimes, I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much - My heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst.

And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it. And then it flows through me like rain.

And, I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life.

You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But, don't worry. You will someday.

    - Ending scene from American Beauty (1999)

The concept of time travel, multiple universes or alternate universes, multiples timelines has been explored since forever, who remember that TV series called LOST from 94? pretty good in my opinion, that was when I start think more about it, it was the trigger.. anyway, what about the recently made movie called: "Everything Everywhere All at Once" ? I think that movie is one of the most weird I ever watched recently, it is hard to follow the idea if you don't know the possibilities of an alternative reality.
As I mentioned previously, I think it is all in the mix, there is real cases and fake ones.

Why do people spend time exploiting ideas like that? because it may be real indeed, I had many weird things happened to me, here is one happen a few days ago when I was running..

This truck passed by me, and it had a message written in Thai in the middle of the taillights and the bumper, those driving behind can easily read.. well the truck passed by and gonna, for my surprise the same truck passed by me not a minute after that one disappeared, and it had the same message behind.. yes dejavu! same truck no doubt about it! I don't even know what the message means, I can't read Thai, but that made me stop my run and think a good 5 minutes.

I have more weird situations, dejavu is always very vivid in my life, sometimes it happen around my wife or kid, when I ask them if they saw that, they will reply, saw what?? lol I think I am the only one seeing these repetitions or flaws or whatever is that. Kind of I am enjoying it now.

    Default Re: Very Weird Stuff!

    Still an unsolved mystery...

On November 26th 1977, British television was interrupted with a phantom signal, and a mysterious voice came on the air with a spiritual message for all humanity.

This was the famous live broadcast interruption that occurred across southern England, which to this day has no explanation. With a crackle and some static the picture broke up. A strange rhythmic hum came over the airwaves, followed by a deep voice calling itself "Vrillon", of the Ashtar Galactic Command. It spoke for almost four minutes...

I still don't quite know what to make of it. A part of me believes it was a stunt, a hoax, by (human) perpetrators unknown. The ability to hijack a broadcast in this manner was technically possible at the time, but as the police said (during their fruitless investigation) "it would take quite a bit of know-how". So without detection, or even being identified (all these years) that makes this an impressive feat.

Yet you have to wonder...what if? What if it wasn't a hoax?

    Unbelievable, right? Maybe.

Decide for yourself. But first read the transcript of this mystery communication. Read it closely. So much of it aligns with what we ourselves are championing here on Avalon. If it was a hoax, whoever did this was ahead of their time. Even the words "great awakening" are used in the broadcast.

Watch the video, read the transcript as you do so.

The live recording of the actual incident, 26/11/77

    The Transcript
"This is the voice of Vrillon, a representative of the Ashtar Galactic Command, speaking to you. For many years you have seen us as lights in the skies. We speak to you now in peace and wisdom as we have done to your brothers and sisters all over this, your planet Earth."

"We come to warn you of the destiny of your race and your world, so that you may communicate to your fellow beings the course you must take to avoid the disasters which threaten your world, and the beings on other worlds around you. This is in order that you may share in the great awakening, as the planet passes into the New Age of Aquarius. The New Age can be a time of great peace and evolution for your race, but only if your rulers are made aware of the evil forces that can overshadow their judgments."

"Be still now and listen, for your chance may not come again. All your weapons of evil must be removed. The time for conflict is now past, and the race of which you are a part may proceed to the higher stages of its evolution if you show yourselves worthy to do this. You have but a short time to learn to live together in peace and goodwill."

"Small groups all over the planet are learning this, and exist to pass on the light of the dawning New Age to you all. You are free to accept or reject their teachings, but only those who learn to live in peace will pass to the higher realms of spiritual evolution."

"Hear now the voice of Vrillon, a representative of the Ashtar Galactic Command, speaking to you. Be aware also that there are many false prophets and guides operating in your world. They will suck your energy from you - the energy you call money - and will put it to evil ends giving you worthless dross in return."

"Your inner divine self will protect you from this. You must learn to be sensitive to the voice within that can tell you what is truth and what is confusion, chaos and untruth. Learn to listen to the voice of truth which is within you and you will lead yourselves on to the path of evolution. This is our message to our dear friends. We have watched you growing for many years, as you too have watched our lights in your skies. You know now that we are here, and that there are more beings on and around your Earth than your scientists admit."

"We are deeply concerned about you and your path towards the light and will do all we can to help you. Have no fears, seek only to know yourselves, and live in harmony with the ways of your planet Earth. We of the Ashtar Galactic Command thank you for your attention. We are now leaving the planes of your existence. May you be blessed by the supreme love and truth of the cosmos."
"When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace."

And the 1986 one, featuring a Max Headroom imposter which was an obvious straight-up prank (slowed down video version and cleaned audio). The 1977 one smells like a prank to me too.
