    Default Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hilary

It looks like this thing could cover over half of California. The last hurricane that got near this state but didn't make landfall was in 1858. According to the woman in the video the 1939 Tropical Storm didn't make landfall and only reached Santa Catalina Island. It's currently classified as a Cat-2 with 105 mph winds.

    Fox Weather
Quote The 1939 Long Beach Tropical Storm was the only known cyclone of tropical-storm strength (or greater) to make landfall in California. It also occurred during an El Niño phase.

The storm is now a Cat-4 with wind speeds of 145 mph. It'll make landfall in Baja California.

If any city or cities in California are destroy by Hilary, then it'll be by design like in Lahaina. Here in Los Angeles the news said we could get tornado(s). It reminded me of the movie The Day after Tomorrow by Whitley Streiber and Art Bell. I suspect Art was also a Gray abductee.

Yeah, that's weird. Something unseen appears to be holding the storm in place as if it's a gun being pointed at California.

Yes, I am in San Diego, it is supposedly coming right up at us. Not much observable yet. There has been a sudden big ( 20 degree ) drop in the temperature and the sky is white, thick with cloud cover. It looks like the winds and rain will arrive after midnight tonight. I am not right on the coast, gauging by the map 3 posts up I appear to be in the dark orange area.

    ¤=[Post Update]=¤

Hm.. maybe I should say to the inside of, NEAR the dark orange area.

I'm in Los Angeles County and my area will get an estimated 2-4 inches of rain with strong winds. If you click on the live tracker in post#1 it shows Hilary dropping to a Cat-2 with 110 MPH winds.

Here is a good channel for California weather. Mr. Finan’s day job is broadcast weatherman, I don’t know his city or employer.

His YT chan got a big bump, last winter, by Juan Browne of blancolirio. I was one of many who subbed on Juan’s recommendation.

If you see in that live map from the OP, there is 5 in total from tropical disturbance to category 1. The one heading to California seems like losing power now and probably will not make a hard landfall if at all. It was category 4 just 1 day ago and now it is category 1.. Hope people living in these areas take proper cover and be prepared we never know if it regain power.. specially because weather is been tampered with..

Good luck folks living in this region.

The eye of the storm is directly over us now. It has been raining non-stop since sometime in the night. About 10 minutes ago the sky turn real dark, the rain is pounding now and the winds have arrived. I am not sure how long it will take to blow over. Has anyone seen any new reports? I wonder if any areas got hit real bad. I'll keep updated on here.

    Oceanside CA here.
It seems most of the storm passed well east of here.
We had some strong wind and heavy rain but nothing "epic".
The "Inland Empire" caught most of it.

I saw this news update, and literally had to double-check that I'd remembered (correctly!) where Thousand Palms is. It's a California desert town, famous for its Palms and Joshua Trees. It's very hot, very dry, very sandy, and over 130 miles from the coast. Usually it looks like this.

    The text:

Viewer video shows a truck nearly covered in flood waters on Ramon Road in Thousand Palms.
