This is hugely powerful ! I have never heard of Hildegard of Bingen. We are currently being asked to live the life of the interpretations of others. That or be punished. I admit, at first I held the fear of being punished. Now I know if it must happen than it does. We are each given an experience to do with as we may. I choose to do what I came here for and if it comes to ugliness, so be it. I am actually quite weak to pain, but one can learn.I believe we can draw on the collective strength of others. This is way the way that the "hive mind" is used" Power in numbers. We are not having this experience to stagnate and avoid trouble with narcissists. So I guess it time to muster up the strength of the beauty of truth.

Yes, it is a phenomenal quote and quite relevant in the 21st century, where our world is always being interpreted for us, telling us to live our lives in fear and anger. I have to wonder what inspired this quote in the 12th century, up in a convent over looking the Rhine. Hildegard was quite an independent thinker, a woman speaking her truth to power, both to bishops and to royalty.
