"A group of 20 attorneys general requested the Supreme Court to overturn a lower court's ruling on enforcing bans on homeless encampments.

This week, 20 attorneys general from Republican-controlled states petitioned the high court in the case of Johnson v. City of Grants Pass after the U.S. Appeals Court for the Ninth Circuit ruled last year that the Oregon city of Grants Pass violated the U.S. Constitution's Eight Amendment by enforcing an ordinance to prevent people from sleeping in public if they have no other place to go.
The lawsuit was brought by three homeless individuals in Grants Pass, located near the Oregon–California border, several years ago. They argued that their constitutional rights were violated and sought to overturn the small city's anti-homeless ordinances that levied fines and other regulations.

However, a growing number of cities and even some Democrats have said the lower court rulings essentially have made it difficult to enforce regulations against homeless camps. Last week, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, filed a brief with the Supreme Court and urged it to take up the case, saying that the court rulings are unworkable and have led to a public safety crisis in major cities across his state.

The city of Grants Pass filed an appeal with the Supreme Court last month. It came after the Ninth Circuit Court in August upheld a ruling invalidating the Grants Pass anti-camping measure, which expanded on a previous case, Martin v. City of Boise, which prevented cities from blocking people from sleeping on public property if local governments cannot supply beds for them.
“Does the enforcement of generally applicable laws regulating camping on public property constitute ‘cruel and unusual punishment’ prohibited by the Eighth Amendment?” lawyers for the Grants Pass asked the nine justices in August.

On Monday, in their brief (pdf), the 20 attorneys general offices—led by Republican Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen—wrote that "allowing encampments is cruel and creates more suffering than the alternative," citing health and safety issues that homeless people and the general public face by not clearing camps.
"While being mindful of the health and safety of both the homeless population and that of the greater community, many issues still must be resolved by (the Supreme Court) to clarify what other efforts may be made within the bounds of the law,” their petition said. “The questions raised by this case are of paramount importance to local governments … and warrant this Court’s thoughtful attention.”

In a news release accompanying the filing, Mr. Knudsen said that the Ninth Appeals Court's 2018 decision leaves states "powerless" to deal with the problem of homelessness, noting that states have both "criminal law and land-use policy authority, and that the decision is an outgrowth of the 'evolving standards of decency' jurisprudence."

Newsom Joins In
In a rare move, Mr. Newsom's office joined conservative states and groups by also filing an appeal with the Supreme Court, representing a shift for the Democratic governor as he rarely sides with Republicans on nearly any issue.
“While I agree with the basic principle that a city shouldn’t criminalize homeless individuals for sleeping outside when they have nowhere else to go within that city’s boundaries, courts continue to reach well beyond that narrow limit to block any number of reasonable efforts to protect homeless individuals and the broader public from the harms of uncontrolled encampments,” Mr. Newsom said in a statement.

The Supreme Court, he argued, needs to once and for all provide clarity on the matter because lower court rulings have left a "confusing" and "impractical" situation for the states. "Courts have tied the hands of state and local governments that seek to use common sense approaches to clean our streets and provide help for unhoused Californians living in inhumane conditions," the governor continued.

The flurry of legal activity also comes as West Coast cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle have increasingly grappled with a recent rise in homeless camps and public drug use.

But in December, U.S. District Court Chief Magistrate Judge Donna Ryu issued an injunction that prevented San Francisco from continuing its efforts to clear out tent camps. The city then appealed to the Ninth Circuit earlier this year.

According to Mr. Newsom's court filing, a district court ruled that Los Angeles would have to tick off a long list of requirements before it enforces its anti-homeless ordinance. That includes more rules for nursing staff, mandates for security, and policies around testing for communicable diseases, it said.

“I hope this goes to the Supreme Court, and that’s a hell of a statement for a progressive Democrat,” Mr. Newsom told Politico earlier this month. “It’s gone too far. People’s lives are at risk.”

The high court has until early October to make a decision on whether to take up the case, among many others."

Following Tuesday night’s bombshell report from Congressional investigators that Dr. Anthony Fauci was smuggled into CIA headquarters “without a record of entry” where he “participated in the analysis to “influence” the Agency’s” Covid-19 investigation,” it’s worth revisiting claims made by former EcoHealth Alliance scientist, Andrew Huff, about the CIA’s alleged connections to EcoHealth and Covid-19.

Recall that EcoHealth received lucrative contracts to perform experiments on bat Covid in Wuhan, China after the Obama administration banned gain-of-function research in 2014. Four months prior to the ban, the NIH effectively shifted this research to EcoHealth, headed by Peter Daszak. The research was shielded from government oversight by Fauci’s NIAID, and Daszak was forced to report after the fact that he’d engaged in gain-of-function experiments.

“As a virologist, I personally think creating chimeras of SARS-related bat coronaviruses that are thought to pose high risk to humans entails unacceptable risks,” virologist Jesse Bloom told The Intercept.

After Sars-CoV-2 broke out in the same town where Daszak was manipulating Bat Covid, The Lancet published a screed by Daszak (signed by over two-dozen scientists), which insisted the virus could have only come from a natural spillover event, likely from a wet market, and that the scientists “stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin.” The Lancet only later noted Daszak’s conflicts of interest.

According to a January, 2022 Twitter (now “X”) thread by Huff, who worked at EcoHealth from 2014 to 2016, “I knew in December of 2019 that COVID was likely a lab leak.” Huff then claimed that “Not only is EcoHealth Alliance a CIA front organization, but the United States of America is primarily responsible for COVID, not China.”

The Sinaloa Cartel has hacked into Arizona government databases, so they can delete documents and add forged documents, at will. Jacqueline Breger said several hundred such falsified documents had been uploaded since 2015, including falsified default judgements, criminal restitution orders, child support orders, all of these used in “swatting” activities on individuals posing a threat to their racketeering activities.

These are not street gang drug peddler tactics, these are intelligence agency tactics that remind me of the claims of the late US Senate candidate for Maryland, Jon McGreevey, who said that the late DNC employee, Seth Rich had unknowingly stumbled onto a similar scheme being run by corrupt Federal officials operating out of the Baltimore office of the DOJ under Rod Rosenstein.

McGreevey claimed this Baltimore group had been tampering and altering the DNC’s emails throughout the course of the Obama administration, in order to control its members. They had also been getting dirt or manufacturing and planting dirt against Title 3 judges and they had been spying on Hillary’s private server “almost as soon as it went live,” he said.

This story also ties in with the claims of Patrick Byrne, who has been a government informant and impromptu agent for decades and who claims that he was sent out to bribe Hillary Clinton with $18 million so that James Comey and John Brennan and Barack Obama could blackmail her while she was in office.

Jon McGreevey said Rod Rosenstein hired a couple of crooked DEA and ATF operatives (not MS-13, as often claimed) to murder Seth Rich and to take his thumb drive containing the DNC server data that they knew he always carried on his person, because he feared his DNC email breach would reveal this blackmail operation. Seth Rich’s murder had nothing to do with WikiLeaks, as far as McGreevey knew.

The Sinaloa Cartel has similarly penetrated the University of Arizona databases and they can make someone appear to have taken courses they didn’t take, they can award academic credentials to people, creating, for example fake attorneys and fake doctors. They can also award academic credentials to non-existent “phantom” people, in order to flesh out their fake identities. These phantom identities are then used in these money-laundering schemes.

It has been purported by Sidney Powell and others that the millions of illegal migrants spilling over our border will be used to “backfill” Democrat digital vote fraud operations, past, present and future.

This information dovetails with the claims of Mike Gill, Founder of The Mortgage Specialists, Inc, who says that the headquarters of the Deep State’s drug-trafficking, pedophilia and money-laundering operation are in New Hampshire.

A longtime personal friend of mine, who does not want to be identified, who’s a retired Special Operations Marine Captain has a friend who’s a DEA agent who’s about to retire, who tells him that there is currently a secret war being waged in Mexico, between the CIA and the Sinaloa Cartel.

The former has been controlling the latter and has been working to consolidate the other Mexican drug cartels underneath them but now, they’ve decided they want to replace the Sinaloa Cartel and put the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel in charge, instead.

This may be part of the reason why we’re now starting to hear about the Sinaloa Cartel’s infiltration of large swathes of the US Government.

It appears that Mexican President Obrador is on the side of the Sinaloa Cartel and that China is, as well, which may result in Chinese troops fighting CIA forces in Mexico, which the DEA agent tells my friend is a distinct possibility.

My friend believes that many of the military-aged men coming across the border are being trained, armed and, in many cases, housed on US military bases by the Deep State to eventually go to war against US Citizens. That’s why they’re not making the illegals take the Death Shot.

This DEA agent also tells my friend that Donald Trump is a figure very much like the character played by James Spader in the TV series, The Blacklist. He describes Trump as a super spy who has infiltrated crime networks throughout his adult life and it’s been widely rumored that Trump was an FBI informant who helped them take down the Cosa Nostra on the East Coast. Maybe Trump really means it when he says that he will “Obliterate the Deep State”.

As reported by CNN, the DOJ has indicted Smartmatic for rigging an election in the Philippines and Patrick Byrne says he’s involved in the background of this case and he says that this indictment means that “They are done.”

He says that all of the mainstream media articles are making this story about money-laundering, while overlooking that the money-laundering was payment for the election tampering.

A US Prosecutor in Florida brought this case because a US bank was used to make money transfers in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He then left the DOJ and he’s now working on Patrick Byrne’s legal team!

Patrick says that this is the most important breach in the opponent’s defense since they stole the election on November 3rd, 2020, because the Department of Justice and an American grand jury has looked at this and said, ‘Yes, elections are riggable with these machines and Smartmatic did it.”

The same Smartmatic operating system is used in the voting machines produced by Hart InterCivic, ES&S and Dominion. The question then becomes, “Why did Fox pay?“

Meat From Animals Fake Vaccinated With mRNA May Soon Make Its Way Into The US Food Supply – see how they want their nano-**** inside everyone

Shrimp have become the latest addition to a growing list of food sources targeted by mRNA gene therapy technology. An Israeli company seeking to bring mRNA vaccines to shrimp farming has raised $8.25 million from a group of venture capitalists to promote and improve animal health in marine species through its orally administered RNA-particle platform.

ViAqua, a biotechnology company, created an RNA-based vaccine product that uses ribonucleic acid interference (RNAi) to manipulate gene expression in shrimp. RNAi is a biological process where RNA molecules are used to inhibit gene expression or translation by neutralizing targeted mRNA molecules.

The vaccine comes in the form of a coated feed supplement designed to enhance resistance to white spot syndrome virus (WSSV)—a viral infection that causes an annual loss of about $3 billion and a 15 percent reduction in global shrimp production. ViAqua suggests RNA molecules can inhibit the expression of genes that cause disease with every meal containing its coated product.

According to a 2022 proof-of-concept study, the nanovaccine was roughly 80 percent effective in a lethal WSSV challenge model and exhibited excellent in vivo safety profiles. Yet the risks of altering gene expression in shrimp and the effects of consuming vaccinated shrimp are unknown.

“Oral delivery is the holy grail of aquaculture health development due to both the impossibility of vaccinating individual shrimp and its ability to substantially bring down the operational costs of disease management while improving outcomes,” said Shai Ufaz, CEO of ViAqua in a press release. “We are excited to bring this technology to market to address the need for affordable disease solutions in aquaculture.”

ViAqua plans to begin production in India in 2024 and believes its technology has numerous applications in aquaculture and beyond, according to their press release.

A federally funded school-based health center (SBHC) in Maine reportedly gave prescription anti-depressant pills in a plastic baggy to a 17-year-old girl without her parents’ knowledge or consent, her father told The Maine Wire.

When the girl’s father, Eric Sack, found the pills — which his daughter told him were Zoloft — he complained to the school.

Zoloft carries a black box warning — which warns of possible serious adverse reactions — indicating the drug can cause suicidal ideation, particularly in people under age 24, when they first start taking the drug.

Sack kept his daughter home from school the following week to make appointments with a doctor and therapist — a decision that resulted in someone at the school or the health center reportedly contacting Child Protective Services, which investigated the family.

The recent push by the U.S. federal government to rapidly expand the number of SBHCs across the country to improve healthcare for children by offering “primary care, mental health care, and other health services in schools” — particularly in underserved communities — is raising red flags.

Critics say they’re concerned children might receive, or be pressured into receiving, unnecessary or unwanted medical interventions without their parents’ knowledge or consent.

Georgia attorney Nicole Johnson, co-director of Georgia Coalition for Vaccine Choice and a consultant to the Children’s Health Defense (CHD) legal team, told The Defender:

“This case in Maine really is everything we worried about. It is almost the worst-case scenario. A young person is getting a drug with a black box warning. They come home with it. It doesn’t even have any warning label on it. The parents haven’t been told, and the drug is in some plastic bag that anybody — any other child in the house, or their peers — could have access to. It could be a very dangerous situation.”

The Bulldog Health Center at Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine, which reportedly gave the Zoloft to Sack’s daughter, offers primary care services onsite to middle and high school students.

It is operated by Maine’s HealthReach Community Health Centers, a nonprofit funded largely by patient fees and grants. HealthReach reported it also received $4.8 million from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), although further grant details are not available.

HRSA also awarded approximately $25 million in 2022 to expand 125 SBHCs, including $81,728 to HealthReach. HRSA also awarded $5 million to 27 centers in 2021.

Those grants came in addition to $50 million in HHS grants authorized by the Biden administration and Congress in 2022 to states “for the purpose of implementing, enhancing, or expanding the provision” of healthcare assistance through SBHCs using Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, The Defender reported.

In Maine, the Department of Education and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced in March 2022 plans to expand SBHCs across the state through the use of one-time federal American Rescue Plan funding for $2.4 million.

Funds are being distributed in two-year grants during 2021-24 to establish 12-15 new centers in Maine.

In 2022, there were at least 22 SBHCs in the state.

State funding covers startup costs plus costs for uninsured and underinsured students, for additional time needed during visits and for “confidential care that may not be billed to insurance,” according to a presentation by DHHS.

In the SBHC partnership, the school district acts as the “host,” coordinating enrollment in the SBHC program, parental consent and services. The healthcare provider is the “sponsor,” which receives the funding and provides the services.

A key justification for the expansion of the centers, in Maine and nationally, is an “increased need for mental health care.” The demand for mental health services for children and youth were at “an all-time high,” according to DHHS’ presentation, and the COVID-19 pandemic made disparities in access to healthcare more severe.

In the 2020-21 school year, 77% of the reported SBHC visits were for mental health services. DHHS also indicated that increased emergency department use by youth was driven by suicidal ideation among adolescent females.

‘I’m looking out for the best interests of my daughter’

The Maine Wire reported that when Sack found a zip-close bag containing small blue pills in his family home, his daughter told him she had been prescribed the pills by the Bulldog SBHC.

He said he was concerned the prescription given to his daughter violated his parental rights, but also that the center sent unlabeled drugs with no child-resistant container home with his daughter to a household where two younger children also lived.



Sack said he contacted Lawrence High School Principal Dan Bowers, who told him the clinic was a separate entity that he had no control over.

Sack also said a representative from the Bulldog Health Center told him they could legally prescribe the medication to his daughter without informing him. They did not comment on the lack of a label or safety container, he said.

Concerned, Sack pulled his daughter out of school the following week.

“I’m looking out for the best interests of my daughter. That’s why I pulled her out of school,” Sack told The Maine Wire. “Because I don’t think she really ought to be there if they’re going to start giving her pills, you know? Until I sit down with a doctor that I pick for my daughter, not through the school.”

The Maine Wire reported what happened next:

“On Thursday, an agent from Child Protective Services (CPS) called Sack and informed him that he would be arriving shortly to make a surprise visit to his home to conduct a child welfare investigation.

“‘They called and said it was an emergency situation at my house, that I was pretty near holding my daughter hostage, is what the gentleman that came yesterday told me,’ Sack said.

“‘He had information that only the school and Bulldog Health Center had,’ he said.”

Members of the family were questioned individually and as a group by CPS Agent Dylan Wood, who eventually indicated the complaint against him was unfounded, Sack said.

The Defender reached out to Sack, who said he is seeking legal counsel and declined to be interviewed at this time. The Bulldog Health Center and Bower did not respond to a request for comment.

SBHC consent forms may be confusing for parents

Sack told The Maine Wire that he or his wife may have signed a consent form at the start of the school year, but he still thought the incident violated his rights.

Justine Tanguay, an attorney with nearly 20 years of experience advocating for children in various areas of the law, told The Defender these consent forms are a key issue for parents to be aware of.

At the start of each school year, parents are given many forms to sign and they likely don’t realize they are signing away their rights over their children’s healthcare, she said.

Most parents, she said, tend to assume that school medical consent forms allow a school nurse to administer first aid, treatment for minor illnesses or emergency treatment.

“But that is not what this is,” Tanguay said. “It’s something much more nefarious.”

Unlike school nurses, SBHCs function as primary care clinics. By signing consent forms, parents may unknowingly give those who run the SBHC the legal authorization to provide “comprehensive healthcare.”

This could include — but may not be limited to — “the ability to provide preventative treatment, behavioral and mental health services, reproductive counseling, lab and prescription services, various medical screenings, immunizations and disease management,” Tanguay said.

She said parents should know:

“One form they may receive at the start of the school year is a blanket consent form, and if they sign it, they are basically abdicating their parental rights to make medical decisions for their kids.

“The school won’t need to reach out and ask, ‘Hey, can we test your child for whatever thing?’ No, they’ve signed the form, they’ve already said, ‘Do whatever you want.’”

But, she said, parents who signed such a form have the right to revoke it.

Tanguay added that consent forms can be difficult to understand and the forms are not all the same.

She suggested parents whose children go to schools with SBHCs should find out what the forms they are signing say and decide what they want to opt out of.

Tanguay also said Bower’s alleged statement that the clinic is not under his control is true. These clinics are inside of the school, but are separate entities not administered by the school, she said.

Yet, the school is responsible for obtaining signed consent forms from the parents, which generates confusion.

That means parents are not giving informed consent, Tanguay said.

“Did the father in this case know what he was signing? Was there a warning on the document that stated ‘You are abdicating your parental rights to make medical decisions’? So did he understand the implications of the form? I doubt it,” she said.

Teen mental health crisis spurred federal funding for SBHCs

At least since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, public health officials and organizations have been sounding the alarm about a mental health crisis among children.

The American Association of Pediatrics (AAP) declared the children’s mental health crisis a national emergency in October 2021 and the surgeon general in May of this year issued a public advisory warning that social media can pose a “profound risk of harm to the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents.”

In fact, suicide rates, particularly among teenage girls, have been on the rise since 2008.

Those public announcements pointed to the COVID-19 pandemic, racism, and social media as the causes of higher rates of mental illness among teens.

But other experts, including Vinay Prasad, M.D., MPH, have cautioned against those assumed links, instead pointing to policies such as lockdowns and school closures that isolated kids and teens and forced them online for large periods of time, compromising their education and their social lives.

Groups like the AAP, a strong supporter of SBHCs, have used the mental health crisis to call on the Biden administration to fund expanded access to screening, diagnosing and treatment for children, arguing access to “school-based mental health care” should be a priority.

The administration responded with new policy measures, including the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act — which made $11 billion available for mental health services — and the American Rescue Plan Act. Both offer funding explicitly for school-based mental health services for students, KFF Health News reported.

Many of these resources have funded the expansion of SBHCs.

Professional associations including the AAP and the American Academy of Family Physicians recommend antidepressants, often combined with therapy, to treat moderate-to-severe mental health issues in young people.

But the use of antidepressants for young people — one tool for addressing mental health issues by the healthcare industry — has been controversial, with many advocates arguing for decades that the “heavily-marketed mind-altering agents” are prescribed too frequently to children and the drugs’ effects are understudied.

A 2016 review of over 70 trials published in The BMJ found an increase in self-harm and aggression in children and adolescents taking antidepressants, but not in adults.

Because of these concerns, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) put a black box warning on many antidepressants in 2004, warning that they increase the risk of suicidality (defined as serious thoughts about taking one’s own life or planning or attempting suicide) among children, adolescents and young adults.

Despite those concerns, there has been a steady increase in the last decade in the number of antidepressants prescribed to children.

Many medical researchers have called on the FDA to eliminate these warnings, alleging they led to a reduction in the number of young people who take antidepressants. Others have found these claims are based on “weak evidence.”

Advocates for children’s mental health, such as Tom Madders, director of campaigns at the U.K.-based YoungMinds, a children and young person’s mental health nonprofit, said antidepressants could play a role in some young people’s mental health, but that it is “crucial” they be coupled with other therapies and that they are not used as a substitute for other treatments.

Even those who strongly advocate for the use of antidepressants for children caution about side effects and the importance of parental education and informed consent.

A 2019 article in Current Psychiatry underscored that:

“It is important that clinicians and families be educated about possible adverse effects and their time course in order to anticipate difficulties, ensure adequate informed consent, and monitor appropriately.

“The black-box warning regarding treatment-emergent suicidal thoughts or behaviors must be discussed.” "

He is right, of course, people all over the world keep posting about someone like Brand, yet this here is a genuine researcher, not just somebody who simply disputes the news, and nobody talks about this.
He has been demonetized, then cancelled on youtube completely. And now he is not even allowed to speak in any European Union state any more.
That's the real scandal, Brand is just a sideshow.

The Baylor College of Medicine issued an email declaring that all students, faculty, and employees must receive the new COVID vaccine by the end of November.

The email from the Texas-based college sent on Sept. 28 claims the vaccine is “an important tool to protect yourself and others from the effects of COVID” despite admitting “protection” from the previous COVID shot “fades over time.”

“An updated COVID vaccine has been approved by the FDA and is now available,” the email states. “A single dose is recommended for individuals 6 months and older. Because protection from prior vaccination fades over time and this updated vaccine better matches the currently circulating strains, the updated dose is recommended.”

ECB Head: Digital Euro Won’t Be Anonymous, Concerns About “Big Brother” Overreach Are A “Conspiracy Theory”

During a recent hearing at the European Parliament, Christine Lagarde, the President of the European Central Bank (ECB), reiterated that the digital euro will lack the anonymity of cash and then dismissed concerns about the state using the digital euro to control what people can buy as a “conspiracy theory.”

Lagarde has previously acknowledged that privacy is one of the main concerns Europeans have about the European Union’s (EU’s) proposed central bank digital currency (CBDC), the digital euro. Despite this admission, she has continued to insist that there won’t be anonymity for digital euro users and that it will never be as private as cash.

And at the hearing of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament on Monday, Lagarde coupled her insistence that the digital won’t be anonymous with an admonishment of those who are concerned that the ECB or governments will use the lack of anonymity to impose restrictions on what people can buy.

“Privacy is protected,” Lagarde said. “Not anonymity, but privacy is protected. And we can address all the conspiracy theory that abounds about this, as if, you know, Big Brother was going to suddenly determine what you buy, when you buy it, and, and how restricted it should be. Then I think it would be characterized as a success. That’s how I see it.”

British writer David Icke is still banned from entering The Netherlands. That is how the court ruled on Tuesday in an appeal case filed by Icke against the Ministry of Justice, which prevented him from coming to the Netherlands last year. According to the judge Icke’s idea’s form a potential threat for public order and that is reason enough to deny him entry into The Netherlands. In a reaction David Icke says that this verdict shows how far The Netherlands have drifted towards fascism. According to his counsel Jeroen Pols, the ruling was politically driven: “They could not afford to put minister Yeşilgöz in trouble just before the election.”

David Icke, known for his spiritual books and “conspiracy theories”, in which he argues that power in the world is in the hands of a secret, evil elite, was supposed to speak at a peace rally on the Dam in Amsterdam on 6 November last year. That was made impossible for him at the last minute. The immigration and naturalisation service (IND) under the Ministry of Justice and Security, denied him entry to the entire Schengen area (27 countries) for two years. The IND says that his presence in The Netherlands could give rise to “public disorder or violence, even if you do not explicitly call for it yourself”. In doing so, the IND relied among other things on reports (Terrorism Threat Assessment) by the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (NCTV). Several legal scholars, including Professor Brouwers, have sharply criticised the decision to deny Icke entry to the Netherlands.

Senior NHS surgeon, 64, struck off by Cult-serving gofers over ‘Covid’ ‘conspiracy theory’ videos

A senior NHS surgeon with a 37-year career in medicine has been struck off for posting conspiracy theories about Covid – including that it was a scam for Bill Gates.

Muhammad Adil, 64, was hauled before a disciplinary tribunal after he dismissed Covid as a ‘flu-like virus’ and repeated various conspiracy theories about the illness on YouTube and X, formerly known as Twitter.

In June 2022 the married father-of-three, who lost his job as Locum Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at the Royal Oldham Hospital in Greater Manchester over the posts, was suspended from medical practice for six months after he apologised for what he called his ‘silly’ remarks.

But he then doubled down on his original views, claiming he was entitled to ‘free speech’ under the European Convention on Human Rights, adding he had an unblemished clinical record and that his beliefs were aired outside work hours.

At the Medical Practitioners’ Tribunal Service in Manchester, a fitness to practise panel ordered Adil’s name to be erased from the medical register following a review hearing which he refused to attend. He is currently appealing against the sanctions.

Adil, who qualified in 1986, had started making his remarks about Covid in April 2020, a month after the UK went into lockdown.

How lords and lawmakers pocket fortunes from ‘hostile’ foreign nations while passing sensitive laws

Peers are pocketing millions from foreign nations including China and Saudi Arabia, a bombshell Mail on Sunday investigation can reveal.

Some lords earn up to seven figures a year from hostile states, offshore tax havens or the oil-rich Middle East while they help shape British legislation. And, shockingly, it is all within the rules.

We can disclose that 24 peers were paid more than £5 million in total in just 18 months from foreign sources including Libya, Iraq and Qatar.

Our worrying revelations have led for calls for peers to be banned from taking any cash from unfriendly states.

Tory MP Alicia Kearns, who chairs the foreign affairs select committee, has called the situation a ‘farce’ and called for a blacklist of nations which should be banned from bankrolling peers.
