Viral Clip Of Emir Of Qatar Threatening To Cut Gas Supply To World Is Fake News

Minutes ago, the large news aggregator Citizen Free Press picked up a video clip purporting to show the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, threating to shut off gas supply to the world. He's purported to have said, "If the bombing of Gaza doesn't stop, we will stop gas supply of the world."

Zero Hedge has confirmed that this is fake news. The Arabic in the below clip nowhere mentions natural gas or any other energy commodity, but instead merely decries Palestinian land being taken as the main "issue" in general remarks on the Israel-Gaza crisis.
The clip is fast approaching one million views after it hit Citizen Free Press [since deleted].

On Friday as the fake statement spread, natural gas prices only briefly spiked, and then dumped, remaining relatively unaffected...

Disinformation experts have exposed an account “masquerading” as a Qatari news source that has spread false reports on an alleged Qatari threat to cut its gas supplies to the world if Israel continues to bomb the besieged Gaza Strip.

The ‘Qatar Affairs’ account shared a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday, alleging “the State of Qatar threatened to stop gas supplies to the world if the bombing of Gaza does not stop.”

Scores killed in Israeli air strikes on families fleeing northern Gaza

Scores of people, mainly women and children, have been killed in multiple Israeli air strikes on the main road connecting north and south Gaza, as Palestinians carried out an Israeli order to flee their homes.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 70 people have been killed in three separate air strikes on the road, with the latest killing at least 40.

The Israeli army said in a statement on Friday that civilians must leave Gaza City in the north, and that they would not be allowed to return "until we say so" and until "a statement is issued allowing this".

However, locals have reported a number of attacks on the Salah al-Din Road since then. Survivors, speaking to local media, implored others not to make the journey for fear of being targeted by the Israelis.

"Do not leave," a distraught survivor of the attacks told local media.

"They bombed the convoy. They bombed it on Salah al-Din Road. They bombed the ambulances."

Another survivor said the attacks were a "direct targeting of women and children".

"I was in the truck. There were about 200 people. 90 percent were women and children. We took the main road that the entire world knew we were taking. My entire family were with me. Out of nowhere, they dropped a bomb. Everything was black and I lost conscience for 10 mins," they told local media.

"When I woke up I saw a mother lying with her baby, whose brain was right next to him. I heard the ambulances then they bombed again. I took cover and after a few minutes tried to check the damage, then they bombed again."

Palestinians from the north of Gaza have already been displaced in recent days by Israel's bombing campaign.

MEE’s correspondent Maha Hussaini has already left her home in the north following the orders of forced removal.

Another MEE reporter on the ground said that it currently "looks like a second Nakba" or catastrophe in Arabic, and that "many families are now leaving their homes".

The United Nations called on Israel to call off the evacuation order.

"The United Nations considers it impossible for such a movement to take place without devastating humanitarian consequences," said Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN secretary general.

“The United Nations strongly appeals for any such order, if confirmed, to be rescinded, avoiding what could transform what is already a tragedy into a calamitous situation.”

The World Health Organisation has said that Israel, in forcing severely ill people in Gaza, including those on life support, to move, amounts to a “death sentence”.

Hamas launched a surprise multi-front assault on Israeli communities on Saturday, firing thousands of rockets and sending fighters into Israel across land, air and sea. More than 1,300 Israelis have been killed, and over 100 people were taken captive into Gaza.

Israeli forces have responded by raining down a barrage of air strikes on the Gaza Strip this week, killing at least 1,799 people, most of them women and children.

The forced evacuation calls come as Israel amassed tanks near the boundary with Gaza ahead of an expected ground invasion of the enclave - the first such incursion in over nine years.

Israel has nothing to do with religion. Their legal definition of Judaism spans from atheism to Messianic, which is basically Christianity. It is a blanket term for various traditions, the more authentic of which require defiance of Zionism.

Almost everything in these traditions was compiled in the Babylonian Captivity, such as Genesis or the Messiah, which can then be understood as copies/derivatives. The fact of Cyrus the Great being the Messiah may tell us more than the accompaniment of Kabalistic documents from the same period that the Torah was developed.


Having said that, if no one else will uphold the message of Jews Against Zionism, I will. It has nothing to do with war or hopium; in fact, the tone I get is usually the opposite, a form of commiseration, since it is a lament about why we are not particularly divine and keep suffering for our sins and weaknesses. It is about the pain of separation from divinity mixed with personal responsibility. And this ought to be similar in meaning to "jihad".

The Israelis were dispersed by Assyria and the "Lost Tribes" went to Iran and the Caucasus and have been there ever since, without suppression or pogroms, etc., because they are fairly normal and just practice religion privately and don't try to hook up with the government for favoritism such as foreign conquest. Do they have anything to do with Judea? Not really.

Hebrew-based Israeli religious traditions are effectively part of the Persian Empire, a Persian is solely responsible for there even being a Judea II, which in turn simply became part of Edom.


I only have a small amount of personal experience, but, in my view, the Jews are much easier to deal with than the Christians, because you don't have to Jesus anything. I have never sensed a hair of proselytism or subconscious projections of superiority that most Christians simply cannot stop.

This cannot be a religious war since the demands of uncontaminated Judaism as well as Islam would be the same, Zion is an illegal settler state and cannot be allowed to continue as an apartheid regime.

The first part is a variation on a well-known statement – but, as we are all gradually becoming desperate, are you suggesting that we should take that hopium or rather not?

I hope you will pardon this light-hearted variation on your statement but what interests me especially, is what you mean by the second part. Admittedly, the Kabbalah (at least its source material) was written during the diaspora after the annihilation of the Temple during the 2nd-century uprising – but I am under the impression that you reduce the value of the Zohar texts to this “reaction out of despair” aspect.

Slaughter has been happening over and over again since the dawn of humanity. The DNA of the human species is broken/corrupted in my opinion. Nature is strange, animals mostly kill for a reason, basically to survive or eat, humans often don't need a reason or kill just for the thrill of it.

This attack in Israel looks to be only done for a specific reason and response, to direct a desired outcome. The orchestraters knew exactly what Israel would do to Gaza. It looks like a maneuver to trap Israel to me, and perhaps the US too. They are already becoming trapped just by the narrative alone. Feels like the final chapter is being played out right before our very eyes. It also seems like WW3 has already begun and that everyone is just positioning themselves before pulling out their big guns and firing.

My gut is telling me that the desired outcome is way bigger than just Israel once and for all eliminating Hamas in Gaza.

99% of the protesters across the globe today don't have a clue as to what is really going on or what or who they are actually protesting for. It's beyond bizarre.

In my opinion humanity is close to being beyond the point of no return....reality has become blurred and has fractured into many delusional fragments.
