What does it mean .... Police?

Read this post (quoted below) in another section and thought to reply but it was the memes thread and would be wrong to chat too much in there!

I heard someone say, "the police are nothing but policy enforcers," and if finally hit me - police - it finally made sense. I never fully understood that word even after my countless encounters with them as a youth. They're no longer peace officers with our best interest in mind, if they ever were, but simply automaton policy enforcers sent out by politicians to ram their crooked policies through by brute force if necessary, as we witnessed so graphically in Australia and Europe during the lockdowns.

And they use such vague and broadly definable terms - assault weapon, terrorism, climate change - I mean, come on, you can make anyone or anything fit such loose language, you can arrest everyone under such ambiguous terms. Anything can cause someone anxiety, a look, a sound, a needle on the ground, someone's tone of voice, literally anything. They're really ramming through the nanny state, they're going to tell you what you can or can't say or do. Know what causes me anxiety - driving home after a fun night with friends, seeing the flashing lights, realizing I haven't renewed my driver's license and refuse to do so, and knowing everything about to take place goes against common law, God's law, and everything I stand for...

It reminded me of a 2009 presentation by John Harris (now passed) called "It's an Illusion".

In this presentation he discusses the role of policemen and how it had changed back then to police officer!

I know this is old stuff for many but I looked for a thread to put this reply in and considered maybe best just make a new thread (albeit with an old video):

John Harris gives us his perspective on what's going on. He describes how we are economic slaves to a debt dependant system, notably achieved through the deception of the birth certificate and the creation of a legal fiction known as your 'PERSON'. It is this PERSON that the government then wields it's control upon. Although John points out that this arrangement only works when we consent.

Unfortunately inaction is taken as consent, hence we have unwittingly surrendered our inalienable rights through identifying with the PERSON. Remember you are a human being with god given rights, all you have to do is claim them.

Also the difference between a policeman and a police officer is described.

The definitions "Public Sector" and "Private Sector" don't really mean anything if the government itself is really a corporation.

Free men and free women would NOT even be private sector, the corporation would define them as outlaws.

I think a lot of police officers are corrupt but many also help people who can't or won't help themselves. It seems like we do need some kind of protectors/police but human nature being what it is, many people, not just police, are corrupt and evil. 2 of my 4 husbands were police officers.

My first husband got rather depressed when he realized how corrupt many Chicago police were (where we lived at the time) so I convinced him to quit the police force. He was much happier after that. My 4th husband was a Military Policeman for a while and he said the MP's were not as corrupt as the civilian police. He was a deputy sheriff for a very short time after leaving the military but quit. He had saved a woman whose husband was attacking her and SHE stabbed my husband in the back after he disabled her husband. Nice thanks ... LOL. No matter what profession you look into there will always be some corrupt and evil people.
