    Lots of nails have been banged on the head here on this thread, and in many cases with great articulation, a testament to the extraordinary high-level calibre humans we have who contribute

    As far as articulating what we are dealing with here all around us at every turn one would be very hard pressed to find a better non-member example than this relatively succinct summary from Bernhard Guenther. It's comparatively rare these days to find good writers with whom one doesn't disagree, and an absolute treasure to come across one with whom there is no iota of divergence at all.

    MY VIEW ON THE ONGOING ISRAEL-PALESTINE CONFLICT (since some people keep asking me about it or literally attack me personally for not "taking a stand" and "speaking out")

    First of all, last week, we had a podcast about that topic, where I already talked about it in depth [link below]. Some of you may know (or not) that I have been very outspoken about Zionism, the Israeli occupation of Gaza/Palestine, and the ongoing genocide 10 years ago and longer (2006-2013).

    In fact, I was an “activist” attending Pro-Palestine protests back in the day and not just a "social media armchair activist," but I also used to post all the gruesome pictures of dead Palestinian children and civilians, wrote long posts and articles, exposing Zionism and "screaming at the world."

    It was at one of the protests in Los Angeles exactly 10 years ago, standing there, at the Federal building with the Palestinian flag painted on my face, holding a sign that said "Zionism = Terrorism," when I realized the futility of just protesting or sharing information.

    I realized the issues are way deeper, and I'm just fighting shadows on the wall, fueled by my self-righteousness that was in itself a mask for my own unconscious trauma, shadow, and unhappiness as I used "activism" to make myself feel better about myself. Most activists do that, but most of them will deny it and will feel justified in their cause. I'm not blaming them or you. I used to do the same.

    It’s also the reason why I have not really gotten into the details of the Israel-Palestine conflict over the past weeks, for what is needed is a shift of consciousness and becoming aware of the occult powers behind wars and human conflict and most importantly, your own unacknowledged shadow you still project externally, your OWN CAPACITY FOR EVIL (capitalized for emphasis, I'm not screaming) which you deny but only see "out there."

    It's quite a humbling moment when you face the darkness within you that you have denied for so long. That's when the real work starts, and that's what will really help the world.

    As Gurdjieff said:
    “The majority of people find many excuses not to work on themselves. They are in a complete prison of their weaknesses. Understand me, right, I do not need followers; I am rather interested in finding the real warriors of the new world.”
    And Sri Aurobindo:
    “War is no longer, perhaps, a biological necessity, but it is still a psychological necessity; what is within us must manifest itself outside.”
    Once you deeply understand and apply Shadow work in your life (ESPECIALLY how your personal unconscious manifests through the collective unconscious in the form of wars and human conflict for ALL IS ONE) and also truly "see" how there are unseen forces manipulating humans from unseen realms, BOTH sides (and YOU), you will also realize the futility of just "screaming" at the world, choosing one side, victimizing one, and putting the perpetrator label on the other side. Sure, your ego will feel justified, and you'll get your dopamine hit for "having done something" as if your social media post "protest" does anything. I did the same.

    I did ALL of that for years, way before most of you had any awareness of what is going on in the Middle East, let alone said anything, so spare me your projections of telling me to "speak out" and "take a side."

    I was a long-time Pro-Palestine activist long before the Woke cult hijacked the Palestinian freedom movement for their agenda and this very over-simplified and generalized idea of "decolonization," which has become a highly manipulated Woke buzzword.

    Yes, what is happening in Gaza is horrifying, and yes, there is systemic genocide happening for 50+ years under the pretext of "Israel defending itself" based on their eternal victim card. Many of the pro-Zionist leaders in the Israeli government are psychopaths and religious fanatics who have zero conscience, especially their leader. They literately think they are the "chosen people" and "God gave them this land."

    Back in the days (2007-2013), I posted dozens of videos where many Israeli settlers (not all of them!) literally stated that and how they see Palestinians as "animals" (that need to be exterminated) and not humans. They are possessed by Wetiko. Your social media posts and protests won't change them or any of that.

    But not ALL Israelis nor Jews think and feel that way. In fact, many of them distance themselves from it and speak out against the crimes of Israel, including Norman Finkelstein, Max Blumenthal, Gabor Mate, Miko Peled, many orthodox Jews, and others whose work I have already shared over a decade ago.

    Most people have no knowledge of the true story of Zionism; even all the new influencer pro-Palestine activists (who were probably very young kids when I used to be that activist) don't know the story and just jump on the bandwagon. Even the Left (which has become Woke) has hijacked the Palestinian cause for their own agenda while the Right has turned more into hardcore pro-Israel warmongers. But I don’t identify with either left or right.

    Over ten years ago, I was digging deep into the topic of Zionism. Once you really go there, you will also have to look into the story of WWII and WWI and even before that because it's ALL connected - and that deep dive can open up a whole can of worms that may challenge all of your beliefs.

    There is a LOT to be questioned regarding the official history, I agree, but many people take it to an extreme, caught up in their own shadow projection and lack of nuance, nor are they engaged in any inner work or have any spiritual awareness.

    More and more people, "truthers," and a new breed of "influencers" have also abused that information of exposing Zionism to engage in real Jew-hatred or that “it’s all the Jews' fault” to the point of claiming that “Hitler was one of the good guys” and that “we need to save the white race.”

    I've said it already three years ago: as a knee-jerk reaction to the Woke left, we will see a real far-right movement arising that wants someone like Hitler to clean up the mess to counteract Weimar 2.0. It's happening, and it is intensifying. It's called projective Identification.

    The ultimate Divide & Conquer agenda as both sides are being played by forces they have no awareness of.

    I completely distance myself from anyone holding these views, which includes some close friends I had to let go of over the years who took the "save the white race" and "Hitler was a good guy" bait. It's like they have been taken over by Wetiko. They are being manipulated by occult forces like puppets on strings.

    Having said that, The Zionist thought police or people heavily conditioned with the lies of official culture/history will call you an “anti-Semite”, “Jew hater”, “Nazi”, “conspiracy theorist”, or other ad hominem attacks (all of which I’ve been called) for criticizing the state of Israel (which is not equal all Jews) or even supporting Palestine.

    However, Hamas, which was created and funded by Israel/Mossad, also consists of religious fanatic psychopaths who do not care for the Palestinian people and who are also vessels for dark asuric hostile forces.

    As David Icke recently posted and nailing it in a nutshell:
    "Surprise attack (October 7th), my arse. This is being allowed to happen. Hamas is owned by the Cult. Netanyahu is owned by the Cult. Mossad is owned by the Cult. And the Cult wants war involving Cult-owned Iran. What Hamas did to Israeli civilians was the work of dark demonic entities. What Israeli government psychopaths are doing to Gaza civilians is the work of dark demonic entities. Demons rule both 'sides' and civilians and kids pay the price...."

    With an extreme shortage of fuel, the targeting of healthcare centers and hospitals, and the unavailability of medication and anesthesia, the healthcare system in #Gaza is no longer able to provide services to the wounded, reported the #Gazan Ministry of Health.

    As a result, hospitals in Gaza cannot tend to the thousands of injured #Palestinians in dire need of healthcare services.

    #Gaza is a 365-kilometer squared area that has been relentlessly bombed for the past month with more than 30k tonnes of explosives thus far.

    The Israeli occupation has killed over 10,000 #Palestinians in its aggression on the Gaza Strip, destroying everything in sight. Hospitals, schools, housing units, bakeries, residential buildings, #UN organizations facilities, and basically anywhere a #Gazan may seek refuge in came under the attack of Israeli drones.

    Malaysia defies US sanctions, renews Palestinian Resistance support

    Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim declared that Kuala Lumpur will not "recognize any unilateral sanction passed by any other country, including the US," as he reaffirmed Malaysia's staunch position in support of Palestine and the Palestinian Resistance in the face of the US.

    The US-proposed legislation, known as the Hamas International Financing Prevention Act, has been aimed against overseas supporters of Hamas and other Palestinian Resistance groups.

    While the Act is currently under consideration by the US Senate following its approval by the House of Representatives, the Malaysian PM proclaimed Kuala Lumpur will not yield to the pressure and will refuse to cut the international funding of the Resistance in the face of Israeli occupation supported by the US and NATO.

    US efforts to restrict external parties from supporting Hamas are unilateral, and Malaysia will not recognize it, Ibrahim told Parliament on Tuesday.

    "We only recognize decisions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) that are considered multilateral," he announced.

    Malaysian leaders over the years have held regular communications with leaders of the Palestinian Resistance group.

    “We continue our relations with Hamas, before and now,” Anwar said. “And we do not consider [to] punish Hamas as a terrorist organization.”

    The Malaysian leader compared Hamas to Nelson Mandela and the African National Congress’s push to end apartheid in South Africa, saying “Palestine is colonized through apartheid, ethnic cleansing and now genocide. Hence, whatever happened is the legitimate right and struggle of the Palestinian people.”

    Malaysia, a Muslim-majority Asian country with a sizeable economy, has long been a staunch supporter of the Palestinian cause.

    Earlier in October, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim called for an "immediate cessation of the bombing in Gaza and the opening of a humanitarian corridor" following a phone call with the head of Hamas' political office, Ismail Haniyeh. Ibrahim assured Haniyeh that Malaysians stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and with Gaza in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

    Ibrahim had also made a clear and firm statement, noting that he "does not agree with Western pressure to condemn Hamas."

    Malaysia affirms support for Gaza, withdraws from Frankfurt book fair

    The Malaysian Ministry of Education withdrew from participation in this year's Frankfurt Book Fair, accusing the organizers of taking a pro-Israeli occupation stance and affirming the Palestinian people's right to their land and life amid the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza.

    Malaysia's decision to withdraw from the world's largest book fair came after the literary association Litprom announced it would postpone an award ceremony for a Palestinian author at the fair under the pretext of the ongoing war in Palestine.

    IOF killing spree in West Bank continues amid mass arrest campaign

    Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin, as well as several other cities across the West Bank, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

    Our correspondent in the West Bank said Palestinian Resistance fighters confronted IOF attacks in the vicinity of the Jenin camp, pointing out that the IOF were bulldozing the roads on Haifa Street in the city of Jenin as sounds of explosions filled the city.

    According to reports, the IOF had stormed the city of Jenin from 4 axes, early this morning.

    On its part, al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Brigade announced the targeting of the IOF on Haifa Street with salvoes of bullets.

    The confrontations resulted in the injury of two Palestinians in the city of Jenin.

    Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the martyrdom of 24-year-old Saad Nimr al-Faroukh in al-Khalil, in the occupied West Bank, amid more confrontations with the occupation forces.

    It is worth noting that al-Faroukh's brother was also martyred earlier in October after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was launched.

    As of this moment, and since October 7, the Israeli occupation has killed 163 Palestinians in the West Bank, and since the beginning of 2023, 371 Palestinian residents of the West Bank have been killed by Israeli fire.

    Resistance in Tulkarm, West Bank, foils IOF raid attempts

    Al-Quds Brigades - Tulkarm Brigade announced on Tuesday that its fighters thwarted a number of attempts by the Israeli occupation forces to infiltrate the Tulkarm camp, confirming that multiple military vehicles were damaged during the confrontations.

    The Brigade revealed that its engineering unit targeted an IOF vehicle using an IED, resulting in direct hits.

    The group pointed out that its fighters confronted the occupation vehicles that had entered from al-Balawneh neighborhood with barrages of bullets and explosive devices.

    Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Tulkarm Brigade also announced that it had partaken in the confrontations, revealing that its fighters had confronted attempted raids by the Israeli occupation forces through infantry and IEDs.

    During the attempted raid, an IOF jet targeted a location in the camp. Local sources reported that suicide drones had also been employed by the Israeli occupation, but no casualties were recorded.

    Palestinian sources reported that a significant Israeli military force stormed Tulkarm accompanied by military bulldozers. During the incursion, the bulldozers left behind a trail of destruction.

    Palestinian media outlets noted that Resistance fighters targeted withdrawing Israeli occupation forces with gunfire.

    Israeli foreign reserves slump $7.3Bln in October amid war on Gaza

    By the end of October, "Israel's" foreign reserves decreased by $7.3 billion (3.7%) to a total of $191.2 billion, Bloomberg reports.

    The drop was primarily attributed to the regime's central bank's efforts to support the shekel following the start of the resistance operation on October 7.

    On October 9, the central bank introduced a $45 billion support package, involving the sale of up to $30 billion from its foreign-currency reserves and providing up to $15 billion through swaps.

    Israeli stocks and bonds experienced significant declines as traders were concerned that the war might spill out into the region.

    Despite this decline, analysts note that the reserves remain higher than the average of the past decade.

    Over the past ten days, Israeli assets, including the shekel, have shown improvement amid a global relief rally and allegations that the war on Gaza may soon come to an end.

    The shekel has since recovered nearly all its losses since October 7, registering a 0.9% increase to 3.85 per dollar as of 1:55 p.m. in "Tel Aviv", resulting in a 6% rise since late October.

    The central bank attributed the decline in reserves primarily to foreign-currency sales amounting to $8.2 billion.

    Whether things will remain as such or not is up to debate.

    Since the start of the resistance operation, several countries have called for a boycott of Israeli products and have expelled Israeli envoys.

    The global movement to boycott Israeli products is likely to have severe consequences on trade and investor sentiment, which will impact the regime's economic performance.

    Moments ago, a source in the Turkish parliament informed Reuters that the Parliament has imposed a partial ban on the sale of Israeli-linked companies, including Coca-cola and Neslté.

    The U.S. cruise missile submarine Florida has entered the Persian Gulf. The US wants to show its strength and deter Iran, writes Bloomberg.

    There is “an announced and official war” on the besieged Gaza Strip and “an unannounced and unofficial war” on the occupied West Bank, says a Palestinian human rights activist.

    Issa Amro, a prominent human rights activist based in the occupied West Bank, in an interview with the Press TV website on Monday, said the Israeli military has laid crippling siege around the territory.

    He said all checkpoints have been closed in the occupied West Bank, most of the roads have also been shut, and the majority of communities are not allowed to leave their respective areas.

    The Israeli regime launched an indiscriminate aerial bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip early last month, which was followed by attacks and military raids in the occupied West Bank.

    One more Palestinian man was killed by the Israeli army fire in the West Bank on Monday, taking the death toll to 154 since October 7, the Palestinian Authority-run health ministry said.

    According to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society, at least 2,150 Palestinians have been detained in arbitrary military raids by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank in the past four weeks.

    In the besieged Gaza Strip, the death toll has risen to over 9,500, most of them children and women.

    Amro described the detention of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank as “random and arbitrary”, saying over 2,000 people have been held under the controversial “administrative detention” policy.

    The West Bank-based human rights activist who has been attacked by Israeli forces on multiple occasions said Israeli settlers dressed as soldiers have been “harassing” local Palestinians and carrying out “organized violence” towards Palestinians in different villages of the occupied region.

    Israeli settlers, he maintained, have been on the rampage, warning Palestinian residents, attacking them, burning their houses, and beating them up despite any provocations.

    In his village, Amro said, a strict lockdown has been imposed and local inhabitants are allowed to leave their homes only on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday “for one hour each to get food and return.”

    “It is not a normal life, it’s a very very bad life, and it’s a really scary life,” he told the Press TV website, adding that he was ruthlessly beaten on October 7 “for ten hours continuously” and later evicted from his home as well.

    “I returned home only yesterday (Sunday) after my lawyer intervened.”

    On the relentless targeting of journalists in both the Gaza Strip and West Bank, Amro said journalists are not even allowed to film Israeli soldiers, cover their stories, or write anything on social media.

    “Journalists here are afraid of their lives, about their freedom. Many journalists have been arrested in the West Bank in last month, they were beaten up and their cameras were broken.”

    Amro is a prolific writer and contributes his articles to many reputed international publications.

    He told the Press TV website that he is scared for his life, like other Palestinians, including journalists – “to be shot, to be arrested, to be tortured.”

    “I was myself tortured (by the Israeli military) as I shot films and spoke to media on October 7. It was due to my journalism and human rights work,” he asserted.

    Amro said the Israeli regime used the Hamas operation on October 7, ‘Al-Aqsa Storm’ operation', “to announce a war, to end what they started in 1948, the Nakba, ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.”

    “Without a real intervention of the international community and stopping the support for Israel, it will go on killing the civilians and targeting Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza,” he remarked.

    'Window is closing' to defeat Hamas: former Israel PM
    US Support for Israel's horrific bombing campaign in Gaza is waning as more and more officials in Washington demand an end to the fighting

    Former Israeli prime minister and defense ministers leader Ehud Barak “fears Israel has only weeks left to eliminate Hamas,” as international criticism of Israel’s for its horrific bombing campaign in Gaza mounts, Politico reported on 7 November.

    Most importantly, support for Israel’s military campaign, which has killed over 10,000 Palestinians, the majority women and children, in just one month, has soured in the US, Israel’s main backer.

    In an exclusive interview with Politico, Barak observed the “rhetoric of US officials had shifted in recent days with a mounting chorus of calls for a humanitarian pause in the fighting.”

    It is widely acknowledged that Israel could not carry out its current war, launched in response to Hamas’ surprise attack on Israeli settlements surrounding Gaza on 7 October, without US help. Barak worries that the initial support for Israel generated in the wake of the Hamas attack is waning, as video of dead Palestinian women and children continues to be live streamed out of Gaza.

    “You can see the window is closing. It’s clear we are heading towards friction with the Americans about the offensive. America cannot dictate to Israel what to do. But we cannot ignore them,” Barak said. “We will have to come to terms with the American demands within the next two or three weeks, probably less.”

    On 7 November, the Washington Post noted that more and more observers around the world are beginning to view Israel’s bombing of Palestinian civilians as genocide.

    “In protests around the world, in the corridors of the United Nations and in the angry chambers of social media, one word is getting louder and louder: genocide,” the paper wrote.

    Israel’s efforts to restore its deterrence following the Hamas attack by bombing civilians in Gaza may therefore prove a test to Israel’s strong influence over US foreign policy, including through its influence in Congress.

    The day before Barak’s interview, the Washington Posthighlighted the role of the Israel lobby in Congress.

    “There is no issue on Capitol Hill that unites Republicans and Democrats quite like Israel does, members of both parties say. And the halls of the congressional office buildings — studded with ‘I stand with Israel’ signs and flags — are a testament to that unifying sentiment,” the Post reported.

    This is part a “reflection of the decades-long influence of a powerful lobby, and an imbalance of exposure, as lawmakers.”

    Stephen Walt, a professor of international affairs and foreign policy at the Harvard Kennedy School, told the paper, that while the Israel lobby has been active and influential for decades, there is “nothing comparable” on the Palestinian side.

    Pro-Israel lobbyist groups and individuals contributed nearly $31 million to American congressional candidates during last year’s election cycle.

    The most prominent Israel lobby group, the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) website says that 98 percent of candidates it backed won their elections, and that it “helped defeat” 13 candidates “who would have undermined the U.S.-Israel relationship.”

    Israeli politicians and lobbyists themselves boast of their ability to control and manipulate the US government.

    In 2001, Benjamin Netanyahu, who is now serving his sixth term as Israeli prime minister, privately said, "I know what America is. America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction,” regarding his effort to sabotage the Oslo Accords.

    In an Al-Jazeera documentary filmed in 2016, leaders of the pro-Israel lobby speak openly about how they use money to influence the political process, “in ways so blunt that if the comments were made by critics, they’d be charged with anti-Semitism,” The Intercept reported.

    Blinken’s Humiliation

    Wherever he turned in the Middle East, the U.S. secretary of state was met by opposition, reports Joe Lauria.


    U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has ended his four-day excursion to the Middle East where he was publicly rebuffed by Israel, schooled by Egypt and Jordan and protested in Turkey.

    Blinken will arrive back in the United States where hundreds of thousands of Americans, including many Democratic Party voters, are in the streets eviscerating the Biden Administration for its role in genocide.

    He returns to a State Department where one official resigned over the administration’s unconditional support for Israel, and a second Department employee accused Joe Biden on social media of being “complicit in genocide.”

    Arab-American voters of Blinken’s party, who helped Joe Biden win the White House in 2020 by delivering him the swing state of Michigan, are openly rebelling this time because they see on their screens what anyone with a half a heart is seeing and they know Biden’s part in it.

    He is ahead of Donald Trump in only one of six swing states, according to a new New York Times and Siena College poll. The level of barbarity being unleashed by the rabid, rightwing regime in Tel Aviv has taken Blinken and Biden aback, if only because of the political consequences.

    U.S. officials are so used to automatically backing Israel, that they’re having a hard time coming to terms with what it is exactly that they are backing this time. But it’s starting to sink in. If there are embers of a human conscience left in Biden and Blinken they are not unmoved. Lacking normal human reactions, they clearly don’t know what to do other than what they’ve always done: back Israel to the hilt despite what their eyes tell them.

    The political calculus is muddied because of the unmistakable power of the Israel lobby to destroy American political careers by “primarying” a candidate or backing a general election opponent. This adds to Biden’s dilemma.

    Caitlin Johnstone, in a column republished in Consortium News today comments on a Washington Post article, which says:

    “As Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza escalates, the Biden administration finds itself in a precarious position: Administration officials say Israel’s counterattack against Hamas has been too severe, too costly in civilian casualties, and lacking a coherent endgame, but they are unable to exert significant influence on America’s closest ally in the Middle East to change its course. …

    With every missile unleashed on Gaza, with every killing of a Palestinian child – and Israel has killed in this war more children than all global conflicts did since 2019 – the whole region is sinking in a sea of hatred that will define generations to come. ”

    Given that Washington is Israel’s military underwriter and the White House has asked Congress for another $14 billion for Israel in the midst of its atrocities, Johnstone remarks, “The Biden administration does in fact have tons of leverage it can use to stop the genocidal massacre in Gaza, it just doesn’t want to because it would be ‘politically unpopular’ and because ‘Biden himself has a personal attachment to Israel.'”

    Humiliated by Netanyahu

    Blinken flew to Israel on Friday to press Benjamin Netanyahu to accept what the U.S. had just days earlier vetoed at the U.N. Security Council: humanitarian pauses to get aid into Gaza and foreign nationals out. It’s a little like stopping the torturer for a minute to give the victim a sip of water before encouraging the torture to resume.

    The fact that the administration is now pushing these pauses — instead of a ceasefire — where before they exercised their veto against them — not a light matter — shows what a quandary it is in and how desperate it is to find a way out.

    The unsophisticated Blinken is no match for a world-class Machiavellian like Benjamin Netanyahu. Still, he had to meet Blinken because after all there’s $14 billion on the table. Pulling that money back would be a major setback for Netanyahu and relief for the Gazans. So he patted Blinken on the head and said thanks for coming, but no thanks to your pauses.

    Blinken had to make a statement to the press alone when normally he would be standing next to the leader he’d just met. But Netanyahu was too busy. He has a cleansing operation to run.

    Afterward Netanyahu appeared alone in blackshirt to say no to humanitarian pauses, no to fuel, no to everything going into Gaza but death.

    Next it was off to Amman where Blinken was totally outmatched by the foreign ministers of Jordan and Egypt, who schooled him on the massive crimes Israel is committing around the clock. Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi talked about “the importance of abidance” to

    “international humanitarian law … and the rejection of the displacement of Palestinians, of their land. … We consider that this is a war crime that we will stop with all our strength. … The killing must stop, and also Israeli immunity from committing war crimes must stop. … How can we even entertain what will happen in Gaza when we do not know what kind of Gaza will be left after this war is done? Are we going to be talking about a wasteland? Are we going to be talking about a whole population reduced to refugees?”

    Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry could not have been blunter when he said, with Blinken in the room:

    “The collective punishment – Israel targeting innocent civilians and facilities, medical facilities, paramedics, in addition to trying to force migration for Palestinians to leave their lands – this cannot be a legitimate self-defense at all. … I would like to ask for an immediate and intensive ceasefire in Gaza without any condition, and that Israel would stop … its violations of international law and the laws of war.”

    There is a severe disconnect in Blinken’s thinking, when he says, “We believe pauses can be a critical mechanism for protecting civilians, for getting aid in, for getting foreign nationals out, while still enabling Israel to achieve its objective: defeat Hamas.”

    Does he not get that Israel’s objective is the destruction of the Palestinian people in Gaza en route to defeating Hamas?

    Completely unaware of where he was or who he was appearing with, Blinken thought out loud, justifying the monstrous Israeli policy of bombing civilian targets like hospitals because of an alleged Hamas presence and their use of “human shields.”

    Tamer Smadi of Al Jazeera asked Blinken: “What are the results that Israel has achieved, and what is the number of victims exactly, of civilians, that would make the United States to stop and think and look at this most open massacre and to ask Israel decisively to stop this bloodshed in the Gaza Strip?”

    All but explicitly justifying Israel’s war crimes, Blinken answered:

    “Hamas cynically, monstrously embeds itself in the midst of civilians; puts its fighters, its commanders, its weapons, its ammunition, command and control in residential buildings, under schools and in schools, under hospitals and in hospitals, under mosques and in mosques – monstrous.”

    After an unexpected detour to Baghdad, Blinken flew to Ankara, where just a week earlier President Recep Tayyip Erdogan led a rally of nearly a million people at the airport, which roundly condemned Israel.

    Two days before Blinken’s arrival, Erdogan embarrassed him by recalling Turkey’s ambassador from Israel. (Of course he won’t cut off 40 percent of Israel’s oil supplies that pass through Turkey). Blinken came to the Turkish capital but Erdogan didn’t have time to meet him. Turkey is demanding a ceasefire and isn’t buying Blinken’s belated pauses appeal.

    Before Blinken’s meeting with the Turkish foreign minister, Turkish police had to use tear gas and water cannon to stop hundreds of protestors from storming the Incirlik air base, which houses U.S. troops. About 1,000 protestors also demonstrated outside the U.S. embassy in Ankara.

    It was a weekend that should seize minds in Washington.

    As Blinken said in Amman,

    “When I see a Palestinian boy or girl pulled from the wreckage of a building, it hits me in the gut just as it hits everyone’s gut, and I see my own children in their faces. And as human beings, how can any of us not feel the same way?”

    Then act on it. Stop Israel.
