It's OK Bill... I understand yourself well My native language is not English, so this your very little well-thought-out intelligent argument is like that! Let it be as you said! And I am not a TROLl! Period! Thank you!

No, you're not a troll. What I'm really saying is that arguments against Trump being a good presidential option for the US in 2024 ideally need to be carefully presented.

That means no one-line jokes with an LOL at the end that are not connected with the topic of the thread.

As you know, I don't post on this thread (and rarely on the other Trump threads: I'm not an American, and my knowledge of American politics is relatively limited) — but I do have some personal opinions which I'll try to summarize here.

As many others have pointed out, Trump surrounded himself (and appeared to trust) many of the wrong people in his first 2016-2020 term. That's actually surprising, as he's a very successful businessman and one doesn't become that way without having a good instinct for whom to trust and whom not to.

Just one example of this: as Judge Andrew Napolitano has stated publicly several times, he had a long private personal conversation with Trump very shorty before he left office as president, intending to persuade him to pardon Julian Assange as one final presidential act.

Napolitano left the conversation pretty certain that he had succeeded in convincing Trump to do this, and he appeared to have agreed. But then someone else (and Napolitano does not know who) changed Trump's mind again immediately afterwards, and the pardon never happened.

As I've posted before several times on other threads, the question isn't about who Trump is, but about who he isn't. He's not a Deep State puppet, he largely thinks for himself (and may well do completely if he's elected in 2024, having learned from his mistakes), and (in my personal view) he is not corrupt.

The LONG list of actions, accusations and lawsuits against him (this is now being called 'lawfare' which is a play in words on 'warfare' and isn't actually a real English word itself) show that the Deep State is determined to stop him from being president in any possible way, legal or otherwise. That alone persuades me to support him, and of course many Americans have the same view.

I have one caveat to all of the above: I do NOT know (for sure) what Trump's stance is on Israel vs Palestine. I've not heard him making any statements condemning Israeli's genocide, but I may simply have missed those.

And a tiny personal endorsement. I have a friend (a bilingual Ecuadorian) who worked for Trump in the US for 10 years. He spoke with Trump personally many times. He says he's the best manager he ever had, or ever saw. He was always interested in his staff's personal affairs, and knew and remembered the names of everyone's children and even their dogs. He was always kind and fair. But he had extremely high standards, and would never tolerate laziness, incompetence. or dishonesty.

So to summarize, Trump may indeed NOT be the answer — but he may simply be the best possible answer that seems to be available. If he's not elected, America will crash and burn, maybe literally. America will be finished. If he is elected, America might have a chance of mending America's destroyed reputation in most of the world. (It's not guaranteed. But there's a chance.)

The best answer? I used to say Tulsi Gabbard, but she's been crossed off my list after her inexplicable (to me) comments supporting Israel in their methodical mass slaughter. (RFK Junior, also). I'd wholeheartedly endorse Colonel Douglas Macgregor as the best possible answer there might be... but he's not running.

The above post is an example of what I think may be a carefully presented argument. What's yours?

That is increasingly likely, for what reasons I cannot surmise other than too many of the real power brokers don't want either.
One has outlived his usefullness and the other is too much of a loose cannon?

I find it simply amazing...many times, that Trump finds it so easy to find lawyers.. voters... employees... who do not seam to realize the long list of people who have suffered significantly for conducting themselves unethically... illegally and immorally at their own peril for Trumps personal gain..... not only in these latest years, but decades ago. This one from Legal Eagle!

    From CNN:

"Trump criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, lauded Hezbollah militants as 'very smart' and sought political gain from the attacks that killed 1,200 people by claiming that if the last election was not 'rigged', he’d be the American president and they’d never have happened.

The ex-president openly admitted a grievance against Netanyahu, complaining he had pulled out at the last minute from joining the US air attack that assassinated Iranian intelligence chief Qasem Soleimani in Iraq in 2020."

I feel the Israel Palestine issue is and will be a conundrum for all politicians DJT included. One way or another, going back in time to present, there will be pitfalls and hypocrisy . It cannot be framed within a simple context. Anyone who has friends on both sides understands this

Trump may seem bad to you people but that's just because your don't know the whole truth about your beloved would be replacements.
I would add many who do not think Trump is the answer (and whether he is or not is not the point here) also do not know the whole truth about Trump himself. I would go so far to say their understanding of the man is a complete fabrication. And understandingly, because the groupthink strawman projection that informs their perceptions is among the most sophisticated propaganda psyop ever waged against the masses (Bernays is blushing in his grave), to which even the most discerning are susceptible.

I urge anyone inclined to embrace or who may be afflicted by the TDS groupthink program to read, and reread this post, and then think about why you don't believe Trump is the answer.

    Thank You T Smith.
Trump does a lot of things that dont get covered in the media. He is one of the most malaligned people in politics etc. I have been a guest at his Golf Course, where he is loved, is gracious, friendly to all. He wished me well and spoke to me on my birthday and we took a pic together with the s service all around us.He took the time for myself and everyone .My friend who invited me told me he was doing some kind of fund raising help for the Jan 6th defendants no one would ever know about. This is not publicized.

He is a tireless worker, does not drink or do coke like the Jack off pretend to be preseident in the fake white house set he occupies. Trump is respected all over the world.
Optics matter. My god, why anyone would need to have this explained to them is beyond me.
This is why he is a threat to the entire game.

My Ecuadorian friend who worked for Trump for 10 years confirms all the above. (See my post #1422 a few days ago.)

There's another story which was shared with us by Shannon, an Avalon moderator for several years, who lives in Queens (NYC). Apparently, quite near to where she lives, Trump's car broke down on the freeway. A friendly elderly couple immediately stopped to help. (They had no idea at all this was Trump, even after they rescued him. They were just being good citizens.)

When he got back home, Trump bought them a new car.

When sept 11th happened an ironworker who I know was working on site to help clean the debris , he was so exhausted after working all night he just layed down to take a nap on the steps of this building, after he was asleep a man woke him up and it was Trump, said what are you doing , he just said he was exhausted and didnt want to walk to find a room, Trump immediately put him up in his hotel at no cost. And yes he doesn't smoke or drink alcohol, he averages 5 hours sleep a night . And yes he donated his entire salary to charitable causes his entire time he was in office.

And unlike many other presidents, Trump also stayed at the white house for certain holidays so his secret service could spend time with their families, after the holidays he would head to Florida.

And finally the American legion had its 100th birthday while president trump was in office. He is the only American President to visit the legion on there birthday since it was started 100 years ago.

Pro Golfing legend John Daly speaks glowingly of his friend Trump, talks about the time spent golfing together, what kind of man he is, and how kind and caring he and his family are. Little over 8 mins long:

Context really matters... this is completely taken out of context and is meant to cause the exact feeling you are experiencing; the way you worded your statement leads to a conclusion that is incorrect.

Please do not take anything at face value, personal research and context seeking is very very important.

Bill and all . We all have to remember that just because I or someone else has a good story about Trump, doesnt mean its a 100% endorsement . We all have people that find fault with each of us for whatever reason, bad timing, bad day and misunderstanding. Many try to find fault with anyone famous that slips up in the least

My friend ,a member at the club tells me he always says hello, works all the way thru golf, with aids and assistants riding with him , signing things etc, then eats in a lunchroom in the club house with anyone and everyone.

it is the most relaxed, friendly easy going place you can imagine. Totally contrary to what the MSM media machine wants you to believe.

Trump is super human in many eyes and I can really understand this now.

Sounds like a very unhealthy workaholic, I've known a few; they get things done but at a cost to themselves usually.

They can tend to be hyper focused and shut out certain things (for efficiency reasons, which works at times and doesn't at other times..).

I use to have a very good friend of mine years ago who was my corporate attorney, he was from Belgium and extremely intelligent. I asked him one time what do you do for entertainment and he told me he and others got together once a week to discuss world religions. Another buddy of mine who is extremely successful reads 3 newspapers every morning , never watches the television, and consumes at least 1 bottle of wine a night just to fall asleep.

My good friend who is a Catholic priest told me the pope is so busy he has scheduled meetings even in the hallways as he is walking from one meeting to another.

I was a campaign manager for an independent guy who was running for Congress years ago, we had this tech savy kid who was 18 years old and he said to me one time. The best candidate is the one you never agree with all the time.

I have always said that every time you here Trump say something bold or outlandish , your only hearing a rebuttal to something that happened behind the scenes that the MSM would never let you here to begin with. It is formatted so it makes him look ridiculous because they control the film footage. Every time I have ever heard Trump say something off the wall, I think to myself what did they say or do to him to generate that comment.

Always keep in mind what the late Vince foster said about d.c. "BEING IN D.C. , RUINING PEOPLES CAREERS IS CONSIDERED SPORT"

I argued with one American living out side of US and asked him, what happened to Trump's healthcare plan... Four years in office and nothing. ZERO! He kept saying it was coming. Same with balancing the budget and infrastructure week... Nothing! ZERO! I asked what a positive things Trump did for Americans... yes tax-free for corporations...He said low gas prices.. and cheaper groceries. That wasn't a Trump plan. That was OPEC.... I see Trump in very bad light... a pathological liar and grifter. Bad!

Let's not forget he had TWO SCOOPS of ice cream with his chocolate pie -
when everyone else..... EVERYONE ELSE had one.... can you believe it?

one of many many MANY sources -

Quote it has emerged that the President has two scoops of ice cream with his chocolate cream pie while everyone else at the table has just one.

Time magazine has gained great insight into President Trump’s dining preferences after he invited three of their reporters for a tour of his home and office followed by a four-course dinner in the Blue Room – the oval-shaped parlour on the first floor of the White House.

They found that the waiters know President Trump’s personal preferences well. The President is bestowed with a Diet Coke while other diners are stuck with water.

What’s more, Mr Trump appears to be served “Thousand Island dressing” instead of the “creamy vinaigrette for his guests”. The former reality TV star is also given an “extra dish of sauce” to accompany his chicken.
AND bestowed with diet coke .......... AND Thousand Island Dressing.........AND an extra dish of sauce -

For the love of God and all that is holy - it beggars belief...

There are rumours that one guest treated to a four course meal had the temerity to ask for an extra scoop of ice cream 'like the President' and they were banished from the table.... then marched out of the White House at gun point - obviously we know who gave the orders for THAT... *

What blows me away is that you think you are thinking for your self.
You only think your opinion is your own but really what you know what you think you know has been written, discussed, processed , peer reviewed, audience tested and then massively fired down your throat with constant repetition.

Did you know Obama participated in multiple homosexual relationships through his church?
I won't even get into how those same men were all killed in the two months leading up to his receiving the democratic nomination to run for President.

Did you know George Bush Jr was a homosexual in college and upon graduating his parents put him in a intensive pray the gay away church retreat?
Upon completion of that he was married?

My point here is how controlled the media is.
And how through rhetoric or omission is constantly lying.

So much so that if you find yourself on the side of the media narrative you are most assuredly living and supporting a lie.
