Anyone remember the military whistleblower a while back who, while talking with the interviewer, would go completely quiet and still every 45 seconds or so because he said there was a wave of some kind, energy, or some form of tech surveillance (interesting word considering the "veil" in the middle) wave that would cover everything in search of him, washing over the earth like a spotlight from a lighthouse keeping track of everything in its realm?

Again, just thinking out loud.

I just watched the movie (Leave the World Behind) and thought it was a poor film, way over-dramatized and over-acted, very unrealistic, and not worth anyone's time. In my opinion, there wasn't a single thing to be learned from it.

MUCH MUCH better (trust me on this ) is the 2020 film Greenland, another apocalyptic film but which actually has a happy, positive ending and was surprisingly well done.

The situation is that there's a planet-killing asteroid heading towards Earth. Everyone knows, and a small number of families have been randomly chosen to be eligible to be taken to an underground military base — where they, and small numbers of others, will be safe.

The film follows one of those families. This clip below is a powerful scene from early in the movie where the family, setting off with instructions to drive to a military airfield, have no choice but to leave their friends and neighbors behind.

Do see the clip if you have a moment; it's only 2 minutes long, but it leaves quite an impact. One could imagine just how realistic this might be.

Exactly. She is used to create tension on those who understand (in a preety goofy way i might say) because she says planes are spraying a red dust and it may be chemical war. Then the plane comes and sprays the red dust that are the pamphlets. (That look like dust from a far)

On the technical aspect I think its a great film. And i could make a whole post pointing out those "subliminal" details. Other than that is a super shallow film in terms of script and acting, that is only looking to create internet traffic from people like us who especulate.

Decades ago, I heard groups would offer to finance a film if they could have creative control over it. In essence they view it as a worthy canvas to imbue the cryptic data they want to convey to the general public. Creating a quality work wouldn't be a major issue. According to the universal law that if have to inform people of your intentions then they use the format to fend-off karma. I just flashed on General Colin Powell saying this in 1991, "Our strategy to go after this army is very, very simple. First, we're going to cut it off, and then we're going to kill it." Drunvalo Melchizedek said we draw experiences to ourselves through the south pole of our bodies. Is it some kind of loop starting with photonic suggestion then a manifestation? This is from Forgotten Genesis, "Earth’s magnetic fields are produced by the black hole at the center of the planet." If the Draco and Sirians put it there then wouldn't they be responsible for all experiences and karma on this planet? The late George Green mentioned two other universal laws in a Kerry Cassidy interview. It's against universal law not to defend yourself and to commit suicide because it's considered self-murder. Those appear to be rules of a game. Joel Lakey said, "Existence is an ascension game."

I enjoyed the film.... it was gripping stuff...

Yes, it was actually well made. Many comments here - not all - have been a skewed response based upon provenance (the usual suspects), ie it was produced by Soetoro/Robinson so therefore...the usual somewhat predictable naive run to.... Appreciated on artistic merit, which was my approach, it can hold its own quite well.

It does deserve a whole bunch of tomatoes, or a well aimed Bugsy Malone splurge gun, in places, but it's really not that awful. It's also not that great, either

I may actually watch it again. As one of our terrific members pointed out a few posts back, there are some subtle scene modifications which are of course hugely symbolically laden. To which I may suggest, well, isn't everything, symbolically laden and open to interpretation?

May I just say that I did not find it 'Gripping' .... that I could barely stand to watch it and had to skip through the vast amount of it as I found it rubbish!

yes it was me somehow the quote must have got messed up, I suppose...

I found the film quite 'arty' - the way it was acted, directed and shot... it reminded me of the early episodes of 'Lost' and 'Under the Dome'... that kind of atmosphere - I don't think a sequel would work because that kind of film/drama has a limit to the amount of unexplained mystery it can ramp up + dangle in front of the viewer - it did keep my interest until the end and I thought they wrapped it up nicely with the scenes of the girl getting to see the last episode of Friends...in a super duper bunker...

(hope the above isn't a spoiler...?) that's why it's best to watch the film before reading comments...

I remember watching around 2015 or 2016 some movie called The Daniel Project Documentary / Daniel Connection, the time the movie looked just like an average crazy conspiracy movie, now with all the world events going on and many of these stuffs publicly available to anyone to check, I mean patents are there, crisp tech, super soldiers, dna splice, mRNA gene therapy, microchip (digital ID) under skin, Israel war, Russian conflict, alien invasion and a whole lot more..... back then it looked not connected with reality because none of these things were actually happening, I even got into serious debate with once friends but no one, not a single one was listening or paying attention to anything, now it is all here we can't even deny any of these things, and the ones who once denied it all, now are starting talking and going fully along with it always blindly following the official narrative.. just like in the Daniel Connection movie, you see how fear strikes people and make them do stupid things to each other, all on behalf of the state.

God bless us all, stand firm on your ground, and remember the stupid evil CAN NOT HAVE our spirits without our permission. we are in control, our decision always.

This is the movie trailer for the movie Dark Web: Cicada 3301. At 0:07 it shows a man wearing a deer mask. At 0:52 Cicada was compared to the IT department of the Illuminati. Another issue is I distinctly remember men in Kesha's music video 'Die Young' wearing horse heads which are now missing due to re-edit or the Mandela effect. There was a standalone horse in Leave the World Behind.

John, thanks for the links. As an aside, who do you use for your VPN?

None and occasionally I use the "temporary" (it has a "couple hours a day" limit) Free VPN from iTop with their annoying long list of other "free programs" they push ... before you know it you have multiple "free programs" running in the background ... you have to stay vigilant clicking on anything "free" from them.

Wached the movie a couple of days ago and was about to post here, yet evereyone beat me to it already, whatever I was to say was said already))

Although, will say this...compared to "Mr.Robot" made by the same creator a couple years ago, which was also mentioned here on the thread, the movie is quite superficial, it barely scraches the surface of what the tv show offered...do get the fuzz, about a former pres advising the movie plot, yet...compared to the tv show...where a lot of what is talked on the forum, is covered, in an unique and authentic way, exept aliens and ufos))) will post here a couple of clips, to showcase...Also, do not recommend it to watch, one needs to have a good stomach for it, for it can get very dark and messy at times and would not wish having someone on my conscience))) so if not watched already, watch it on your own terms...

I watched it, and I am suspicious that it is yet another effort in a string of spook-controlled manipulations of our psyches through media.

The first one that I clearly remember being quite affected by was when I was a kid, and watched the movie, then read the novel, "On the Beach", by author Nevil Shute. It shook me up greatly then, being a child. It was about the aftermath of the bomb. Very apropos for that particular terror/control scenario to be ingrained during those times.

Looking up Nevil Shute, his background was very likely spook controlled, and I do suspect the author of "Leave the World Behind" could be the same. Rumaan Alam is obviously extremely liberal, just quickly reading his brief biographies. He grew up in the DC suburbs, now living in NYC with his married partner and two adopted boys, is contributing editor for "The New Republic", and he has already received nominations for this book being "A finalist for the 2020 National Book Award and a New York Times bestseller." Quite a leap to fame for a rather mediocre story. But I guess there is a whole new crop of young folks ripe for the fear-planting, sadly.

If you are referring to a "total lunar eclipse", then there is none in 2024. But if referring to any lunar eclipse, then we got 3 on the way:
