This Man (who seems to appear in many people's dreams)

I considered putting this in The Why Files thread, but felt it deserves its own thread. Thousands of people around the world have had dreams of this person and their experiences with him aren't pleasant. A woman claims he slit her throat, and another said he grabbed him. I recall hearing a similar story about This Man on Coast-to-Coast AM years ago and he was described the same way, but he was wearing a white lab coat. In another account he was wearing a gold medallion that said, Go North. Our sleeping state represents one third of our lives and there are groups that want control over it. I heard L.A. Marzulli tell a story of a black-eyed boy squatting on a wall and it reminded me of Robert Duncan O'Finioan saying that's a super soldier perching position. Duncan said they were called Omega units (P225). They could be the same group that created This Man.

These are the anagrams for the word This. It doesn't have Sith listed and here are two definitions. One's journey of life, experience, one's lot, also by extension life, lifetime. Christ's sith of sorrow and suffering. An ancient order of Force-wielders devoted to the dark side, the Sith practice hate, deception, and greed.

I like the Why Files, but I did not choose to watch that one.

Since I have not seen him, I thought that it might be wise to not watch the episode in case it somehow leads to me actually seeing him.

Some people might just think that this is woo. Personally, I don't like that word because to me it feels like a negative 'poke' at the related subjects and the people who talk about them. Whether my feelings are right or wrong with this, it is just the way I feel about it. The word "woo" to describe it just feels wrong to me.

ANYWAY...Lol....I do pay attention to these type of subjects due to experiencing a variety of things and events.

It is my humble opinion that there has been a significant rise in the activity in the paranormal over the last few years.

So, be happy and when you are feeling down, do something that makes you happy. I use music and a bit of tai chi type of exercises. I visualize my chi energy and see myself as emitting light in all directions.

Do what works for you!

Keep these bad energies away from you.

I'll venture that this person doesn't appear in many people's dreams at all.

The trivia from Dream Scenario

The main plot resembles a supposedly real event that happened and was compiled in the website "Ever Dream This Man?", created by Italian advertiser Andrea Natella. According to him, more than 3,000 people dreamed of the same man once and again for years, with the first case registered in New York City in 2006. The web offered diverse explanations, but none were definitive or proven to be true, and in 2009 it turned viral. Finally, it was exposed that it was all a hoax and a guerrilla marketing campaign by Natella's advertising agency. Natella admitted he made up the whole story to explore how urban legends and collective myths are created and spread.

Writer-director Kristoffer Borgli was inspired to write the film after researching Carl Jung's theories of the unconscious. While Borgli found Jung's ideas aesthetically stimulating, he believes they are basically useless and nonsensical as scientific or psychological guides.

The film makes a couple of references to David Byrne from the band Talking Heads and his infamous giant suit, which he wore in the concert film "Stop Making Sense" (1984). In addition, the end credits song for "Dream Scenario" is the Talking Heads song "City of Dreams." That same song is also the end credits song for the film "True Stories" (1986), which is directed by, written by, and stars David Byrne.

The Talking Heads frontman demonstrates how he fakes his concert moves, tells the giant suit origin story and talks about "Stop Making Sense." (Air date: 11/23/84)

Yes, it might be. The Why Files claim to often investigate stories based upon viewer feedback and requests.

I can't recall which show, but I felt very strongly that they got it wrong - maybe it was one of their shows based around a UFO topic?

This is going to bother me now - I am going to have to find out which topic and show it was.

I feel the story has validity if you compare it to Donald Marshall's claims about the cloning centers.
