14 things everyone needs to know about the Great American Eclipse of 2024
We're just over three months away from what many believe will be the most spectacular total solar eclipse in U.S. history. It's being called the "Great American Eclipse of 2024", and millions of Americans will be taking the time to travel to see it in person.
By April, mainstream news will be filled with stories about this eclipse, making it hard for anyone to ignore what's happening. In this article, I'm going to share 14 things everyone needs to know about the Great American Eclipse of 2024...
#1 This is a total solar eclipse that will occur on April 8, 2024.
#2 The path of the eclipse will cross parts of the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
#3 The path of the eclipse will also cross parts of Mexico and Canada.
#4 This eclipse is expected to be the most observed astronomical event in our nation's history.
#5 According to the Washington Post, more than 30 million Americans will be able to simply leave their homes and experience this eclipse...
"This will be the most populated eclipse in the U.S., with 31.5 million people able to simply get out of their homes and experience this event," said Kelly Korreck, NASA 2024 total solar eclipse program manager, at a press conference at the American Geophysical Conference union.
#6 They tell us this eclipse could be "the biggest mass travel event" of 2024....
The event could also be the biggest mass travel event in the U.S., according to the Great American Eclipse website. Several major cities very close to the path of totality are St. Louis, Cincinnati, Detroit, Toronto and Quebec City. Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC are also within 200 miles of the direct path.
#7 Those in the direct path of the eclipse will notice that the air temperature suddenly becomes about 10 degrees cooler once the moon completely blocks out the sun.
#8 The path of the Great American Eclipse of 2024 will cross the United States on the first day of the Hebrew calendar year.
#9 If you put the trajectory of the Great American Eclipse of 2024, the trajectory of the Solar Eclipse "Ring of Fire" of October 14, 2023 and the trajectory of the Great American Eclipse of 2017 on a map, they combine to form a giant Paleo-Hebrew "Aleph" over America...
#10 If you simply put the trajectory of the Great American Eclipse of 2024 and the trajectory of the Great American Eclipse of 2017 on a map, they combine to form a giant paleo-Hebrew "Tav" over America...
#11 The heart of the Paleo-Hebrew "Tav" forms a giant "X" that falls directly on the New Madrid fault zone.
#12 One of my readers pointed out that we've seen a giant "X" like this before. The path of a solar eclipse that occurred on June 16, 1806, combined with the path of a solar eclipse that occurred on September 17, 1811, to also form a giant "X" over the New Madrid fault zone.
#13 Three months after the solar eclipse of September 17, 1811, a series of absolutely enormous earthquakes began to occur on the New Madrid fault...
The New Madrid earthquakes were the largest earthquakes in U.S. history. They occurred in the central Mississippi Valley, but were felt as far away as New York, Boston, Montreal and Washington DC. President James Madison and his wife Dolly felt them at the White House.

Church bells rang in Boston. From December 16, 1811 to March 1812, there were more than 2,000 earthquakes in the central Midwest and between 6,000 and 10,000 earthquakes in the Bootheel region of Missouri, where New Madrid is located near the junction of the Ohio and Mississippi rivers.

In the known history of the world, no other earthquake has lasted as long or produced as much evidence of damage as the New Madrid quakes. Three of the quakes appear on the list of largest earthquakes in the United States: the first on December 16, 1811, with a magnitude of 8.1 on the Richter scale; the second on January 23, 1812, at 7:8 a.m.; and the third on February 7, 1812, with a magnitude of up to 8.8.
#14 The next total solar eclipse visible from the USA will not occur until 2044, and the trajectory of this total solar eclipse will affect only three states.

Hi Casey, I got this data from Wikipedia (which is good for some things):

December 16, 1811, 8:15 UTC (2:15 am local time): M 7.2–8.2,[11][12] epicenter in what is now northeast Arkansas.

January 23, 1812, 15:00 UTC (9:00 am local time): M 7.0–8.0,[11][12] epicenter in the Missouri Bootheel.

February 7, 1812, 9:45 UTC (3:45 am local time): M 7.4–8.6, epicenter near New Madrid, Missouri. The town of New Madrid was destroyed. In St. Louis, Missouri, many houses were severely damaged and their chimneys were toppled.

Ah, right. Not sure about how they will be affected, but the 3 states in the US in the path of the 2044 eclipse will be Montana, North and South Dakota.

Totality will be visible across the Northwest Territories and Alberta as well as extreme southwestern Saskatchewan in Canada, and will be widely visible in Montana and parts of North Dakota and South Dakota in the United States of America; partiality will be visible throughout the western United States near sunset and in Siberia.

I wish I was going to be in the US for the eclipse.
My one and only experience of a total eclipse was in Cornwall in 1999, unfortunately hidden by a blanket of cloud.
It was still good to feel the air chill by some degrees and for it to go quite dark for a few minutes...

The excitement and hype around this event is building greatly where I live.
Already merchants are having t-shirts printed and viewing eyeglasses are on sale.
The town politicians are printing up posters and flyers, etc.
My small town (pop. < 2000) is really counting on some fast revenue, it seems. It's kind of funny to watch!

Personally I feel there is no way all these coincidences are actually coincidences. The article also opened my eyes about the Devil's Comet (The next year we will see this comet is 2095, its period is about 71 years) and, of course, the names of the cities the eclipse will pass through.

My spidy senses are tingling as well. Just as they were with the pandemic. We have had these events in the past with little or no fanfare.
I read today that all non essential businesses will be closed. Schools will be closed. We are to stock up on provisions to avoid traffic caused
by those viewing the eclipse. Not sure what to make of it. Hopefully I'm paranoid.

When I watched the first video on Radi's post... and what was said about 'Zombie Deer Disease' (virus?) I thought of the film Leave the World Behind where deers are a significant part of the 'story' - I've been waiting for a clue to turn up regarding the deers and now I'm .... oh dear.... pun accidental.... :/

Then I thought I'd randomly look up flamingo disease/virus because flamingos turned up in the swimming pool in the story as well....and that MIGHT be a big hint about something - ie connected to the eclipse... and there is a thing regarding flamingos and a serious computer virus where a Youtuber called 'Flamingo' is involved - I personally don't think it's too much of a stretch that something regarding a bio weapon attack and a computer virus attack might be on the cards....maybe connected to the eclipse - they might even try to blame the eclipse for it all...? (and Climate Change as well, of course)......

.....

I don't want to be a fear monger about all this and maybe the eclipse will just come and go - with nothing 'extra' happening .... that would be nice... and when considering all this, it depends on how serious we believe the plans are to destroy America and significantly depopulate the world.... and unfortunately it looks like 'they' are very serious about doing both of those things.... :/

I suspect they'll use a guise of God's judgement to trigger a major event possibly a megaquake. It'll cross seven cities named Nineveh where in 2017 it was seven cities named Salem. There's been measurements of gravity being slightly different during an eclipse. The Ben Gurion Canal Project is rumored to be the reason for clearing-out Gaza. There's been talk of them wanting a waterway running through CONUS.
