Why judge didn't Enron trumps stupid company? What kind of cow dung statement is that? And it's great that his company is fined over 300 million dollars?
Let's start out with what it takes as a person who is in charge of a company that goes to borrow millions of dollars. It's the same scenario as buying your first house that is a deal involving a 6 digit figure. You go to the bank, present your assets and your ability to pay back the money. Your banker or mortgage company looks at what you have accumulated in assets and how stable you are in your job and your ability to pay it back based on how long you have worked at your job and how much you make . That banker wants to make money off of you and you want something from the banker,money. Pretty simple.
Now let's go to Trump and the Trump companies, it's the same exact scenario only it has many more zeros involved. Trump and his company wanted to purchase more real estate, presented their assets and ability to pay it back based on his track record to a bank and they made the deal to loan him the money which he paid back including their interest, some 100 million. So what's wrong with all of this?
The ignorant or very corrupt people snaked their way into a loophole saying Trump lied stating he was worth more than what the bank thought he was. Actually it was his accountants who presented the numbers to make the Trump companies look the very best they could. That's what all accountants do. So the Trump companies were supposedly worth 4 billion dollars according to his accountants for round numbers and Deutche bank loan officers said 2 billion. I suppose you could go to court to justify the numbers but nobody does that to get a loan. Duetche bank wants to make money on their product which is money they are lending but they also want to know what assets the Trump companies have and what is their track record in successful properties in the past. So banks look at it on the conservative side and slashed his numbers. Then it's determined to do a deal or not, is the interest rate ok or not, are the terms to pay the money back workable or not. They did the deal and that should be that.
Unless you have powerful forces out there that do not want you to be president again so they twist the wording of what is ,is , and they create charges on you and your companies for an interpetation with a stacked deck so corrupt it would make grandma blush.
Bankers and or wall street don't give their money away just because, they look at the company, their assets, their track record and their ability to pay back. On the flip side of that borrowing millions or billions is a big responsibility, so many peoples jobs and families depend on you and every loan is an important one. Your also banking on a successful project so everyone wins, but not everything is a guarantee either. So it takes some large size nuggets to go in and ask for quite a bit of money knowing so much rides on a a lot of hard work ahead. That is where whoever is asking for the money needs to sell the deal, project,and their track record to obtain the loan. This entire charge and fine stinks like a pig farm in 100 degree heat.
about Enron. Enron was a ponzi scheme, it was corrupt, it was evil and it was greed beyond comprehensible levels, this group of people were buying up companies and sweeping retirement accounts so fast and so frequent the accounting paperwork couldn't keep up with the deals fast enough. And it was the employees of each company bought that lost their retirements. It was only that when they slowed down buying more additional companies did the house of cards crash because they were stealing the money faster than they could buy more companies.The CEO and the entire board should have been thrown in jail for life for what they did. Making this statement about President Trump and the comparison to enron is as ignorant as the charges brought against this man.
Finally, you can say this or that about when Trump was in office, but when an American citizen is appointed to be president on his first day in office they have to appoint some 4000 people in jobs in the government. That's a very tall order knowing your going into the snake pit in d.c .known as the swamp. And that leaves a Pandora box open for criticism. With Trump having round one under his belt that is why the deep state is throwing everything they can at him because round 2 we be with seasoned players now.
