I think it is high time for Americans to realize that Trump & Biden are two sides of the same coin. (If Gavin Newsom replaces Biden, it will be even worse.) Trump has been known to be the worse stooge for Israel, approving attacks against Syria and Iran that jeopardized USA security, just for the benefit of Isreal. Algeria calls for urgent UN Security Council meeting after strike on Gazans awaiting aid

Algeria on Thursday called for an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council on recent developments in the Gaza Strip.

"Algeria requested an urgent closed meeting regarding the latest developments in Gaza," diplomatic sources from the North African country told Anadolu."The meeting is set to take place Thursday evening at 4.00 p.m. New York time (2100GMT)," the sources added.

Algeria is a non-permanent member of the 15-member Security Council.

White House calls for investigation into attack on Palestinians waiting for aid

WASHINGTON

The White House urged an investigation Thursday into the deadly attack by Israel on malnourished Palestinians waiting for a humanitarian aid delivery in the Gaza Strip.

"We think that this latest event needs to be thoroughly investigated," said spokesperson Olivia Dalton at a news conference.

She said the US has been in touch with the Israeli government to gather information about the circumstances that led to the tragedy.

"This event underscores the need for expanded humanitarian aid to make its way into Gaza," she said.

"Obviously, the events in northern Gaza are tremendously alarming and deep concern to us, deeply tragic the loss of human life. Too many civilian lives have been lost as a consequence of military operations in Gaza," she added.

Dalton said Washington would like to see plans by Israel to maintain basic security in areas of its operations.

"Because the continued loss of life is deeply alarming and very, very, very tragic," she noted.

That's certainly the case for USA, where practically all members of congress have been bought by AIPAC. And it's also the case for Canada, although less obvious. We don't have representative democracy in the west. The other major problem is that Israelis have gone mad, and there's no reasonable or truthful position on their part. Isreali officials routinely lie about the genocide they're conducting against Palestinians.

But most of us can still talk. Here's what we all could do. Let's STATE the solutions wherever and whenever we can. To your politicians, colleagues, neighbours, local and national media, etc.

Something like this: The world needs to unite and sanction Isreal NOW, put a complete blockade against Isreal, until they stop their illegal occupation of Palestinian territories, and do a complete ceasefire. AND we must immediately bring in vital supplies to Gazans, even air dropped if necessary. BOTH sides release ALL hostages. Political discussions of one or two states can wait until after these basic measures are established.

The Yemenis have showed us that blockades can achieve a lot in this matter. Let's make it international. In the case of the apartheid regime in South Africa, how long did it take for international sanctions among the majority of countries to grind down the apartheid regime in South Africa to a halt? No matter how long it takes, it must be done, starting now. Wasn't the USA one of the last nation to get on board with international sanctions against apartheid in South Africa? Let's not wait for them. Time to act now. Polls show that the majority of American people want a ceasefire. I hope they refuse to pay taxes until their politicians decide it's time to stop military aid to Israel.
