Can pediatricians afford to run their medical practices without the generous kickbacks they receive for vaccinating every child?
Dr. Paul Thomas, a Dartmouth-trained pediatrician, discussed this dilemma during an April 16 interview with Polly Tommey on Children’s Health Defense’s “Vax-Unvax: The People’s Study” bus tour.
“You cannot stay in business if you’re not giving pretty close to the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] [childhood vaccine] schedule,” said Thomas, who ran a general pediatrics practice with 15,000 patients and 33 staff members.
Thomas also addressed the risks and harms of vaccines — including COVID-19 mRNA vaccines — and the importance of boosting our immune systems naturally.
‘We were losing … over a million dollars’
Thomas, author of “The Vaccine-Friendly Plan: Dr. Paul’s Safe and Effective Approach to Immunity and Health-from Pregnancy Through Your Child’s Teen Year,” gave parents in his practice a choice: vaccinate their children on the CDC schedule, vaccinate more slowly by waiting for the child’s immune system to develop or not vaccinate at all.
As more patients refused vaccines, Thomas began to notice the financial impact on his practice.
He and his staff conducted a thorough analysis of their billing records, examining the income generated from vaccine administration fees, markups and quality bonuses tied to vaccination rates.
The results shocked him. “We were losing … over a million dollars in vaccines that were refused.”
He explained that pediatric practices heavily rely on vaccine income to stay afloat, with overhead costs running as high as 80%.
“It is very expensive to run a pediatric office,” he told Tommey. “You need multiple nurses, multiple receptionists, multiple billing people and medical records — it’s a huge operation.”

Three financial incentives for giving vaccines
Pediatricians receive several types of financial incentives for administering vaccines.
The first is the administration fee, which Thomas described as a “Thank you for giving the shot.”
He estimated that pediatricians typically receive about $40 for the first antigen and $20 for each subsequent antigen.
“Let’s just say a two-month well-baby visit, there’s a DPT — that’s three shots, three antigens,” he told Tommey, plus “Hib [Haemophilus influenzae type b], Prevnar [pneumococcal], Hep B [hepatitis B], polio, rota [rotavirus] — [that’s] about $240.”
The second way pediatricians profit from vaccines is through a small markup on the cost of the vaccines themselves, though Thomas noted that this is not a significant source of income.
The third and most substantial financial incentive is quality bonuses tied to vaccination rates.
Insurance companies offer pediatricians bonus payments for meeting certain benchmarks, typically around 80% of patients being fully vaccinated by age 2.
“I get dinged maybe 10-15% off of those RVUs — relative value units — that are ascribed,” he said, describing the points system used to calculate physician reimbursements.
With his practice’s vaccination rate a mere 1%, Thomas was at risk of losing up to 15% of his overall revenue.
“Really, it effectively means a pediatric practice cannot survive using insurance without doing most of the vaccines, if not all of them,” he said. “And I think that explains the blinders — [why doctors] just won’t go there and look at the fact that these vaccines are causing a lot of harm.”

Neurodevelopmental issues ‘clearly linked to vaccines’
Tommey asked about sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
“When you hear the word syndrome, it means we don’t know what it is … [or] what causes it,” Thomas said. “But we actually have a pretty good clue.”
Thomas said six studies examined the correlation between SIDS cases and vaccines.
“In one data set, 97% were in the first 10 days after the vaccine. Only 3% were in the subsequent 10 days,” he said.
Other studies showed similar patterns, with 75-90% of SIDS deaths occurring within the first week after vaccination, he said.
Thomas also highlighted the increased risk of neurodevelopmental disorders, allergies and autoimmune diseases in vaccinated children.
“We know without a doubt that things like neurodevelopmental concerns, learning disabilities, ADD, ADHD [attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder], autism [are] clearly linked to vaccines,” he stated.
“The more you vaccinate, the more likely you are to have these problems.”
Vaccinated children are more prone to infections and illness compared to their unvaccinated peers, according to Thomas, who published a study comparing the health outcomes of each group.
“It’s the vaccinated who get more ear infections, more sinus infections, more lung infections,” he said.
“Any kind of infection you look at, the vaccinated get more.”

The risks associated with vaccines extend beyond childhood.
Thomas drew attention to the recent phenomenon of “Sudden Adult Death Syndrome” (SADS) following the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.
“We see it on the news, we see it on the ball fields: healthy adults just ‘Boom!’ — dropping dead,” he said.
“And that’s all happened since the COVID jabs.”
Thomas expressed particular concern about the mRNA technology used in COVID-19 vaccine development.
He pointed out that despite decades of research, mRNA vaccines have never been proven safe or effective.
He cited previous attempts to develop mRNA vaccines for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), which consistently failed in animal trials.
“When they got to the animal trials, they would vaccinate the rats,” he said.
“When they re-exposed those rats, in one study, 100% of them died.”
The COVID-19 mRNA vaccines’ narrow focus on the spike protein is also problematic because it causes the immune system to become “focused on just one thing,” Thomas said.
“When the [viral] organism mutates, those who are vaccinated can’t recognize this new mutation,” he said, recalling how at a family gathering during the pandemic, it was mostly the vaccinated who contracted COVID-19.
Thomas shared a personal story about his mother’s experience with pulmonary fibrosis after receiving three COVID-19 vaccines.
“After her third COVID shot, she started really running out of energy and then getting short of breath,” he said. “Within a month, her lungs [had a] ground-glass appearance.”

Tommey asked about the risks of vaccine shedding.
“Shedding seems to be happening, and it’s been documented in studies,” he said, explaining that vaccinated individuals can expose others to spike proteins through body fluids and secretions.
‘We can no longer go to our doctors and say, “Fix me”’
Thomas discussed the likelihood of new pandemics being declared in the future, driven by the immense financial gains pharmaceutical companies reaped from the COVID-19 vaccines.
“They made too much money — Pfizer alone made over $100 billion,” he said. “So the power that the public health machinery got to themselves with COVID has to be intoxicating to them.”
In light of this, Thomas stressed the importance of personal health and natural immunity.
“We can no longer go to our doctors and say, ‘Fix me,’ after we’ve trashed our own health,” he said.
“So we’ve got to take responsibility for eating right, avoiding stress, getting adequate sleep … [and] boosting our immune system naturally with organic produce.”
Thomas also encouraged people to question public health authorities and make informed decisions about their health.
“I can no longer trust the CDC, the FDA [U.S. Food and Drug Administration], the NIH [National Institutes of Health],” he said.
“Some good people work in these institutions, but the institutions themselves are captured.”
Thomas said that when it comes to vaccines or a new pandemic illness, “They’re the last people you want to trust.”
Thomas shared information about his upcoming book, “Vax Facts,” co-authored with his partner DeeDee Hoover.
He said the book provides an easy-to-read, comprehensive guide to understanding the vaccine issue, regardless of one’s current stance.
“This is going to … allow you to really understand it in an organized, reasonable way why it makes sense now to pause” taking vaccines, Thomas said.
Tommey reminded viewers of Thomas’ weekly show on CHD.TV, “Pediatric Perspectives,” where he interviews pediatricians and doctors who focus on children’s health.

Actor Woody Harrelson narrates the 30-minute biographical film, “Who is Bobby Kennedy?,” which details Kennedy’s life and why he’s running for president.
American Values 2024, the super PAC, bought the film after the creator of Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show” Jay Carson and director Mike Piscitelli produced it.
Kennedy, CHD founder and chairman-on-leave, said in a press release, “If supporters of all candidates do not have equal access to the digital public square, then we have a democracy in name only.”
He added:
“This goes beyond restricting freedom of expression on issues and ideas.
Meta is censoring a biographical film about a major candidate in an election year.
How can voters make an informed choice if they are denied basic information about a candidate’s life?”
Kennedy said he and his team “are looking into the legal implications of Meta’s actions and whether we have grounds for a lawsuit.”
“But we are hoping that this egregious violation of the spirit — if not the letter — of the principle of free speech will meet with condemnation in the court of public opinion.”

Meta says it was a ‘mistake’
Meta spokesperson Andy Stone on May 5 told The New York Times that the video was inaccurately flagged as spam and “mistakenly blocked.”
The issue “was corrected within a few hours,” he said.
The Defender asked Meta to clarify how or why it had mistakenly flagged the video as spam — “Was there an error in the spam-finding algorithm? Was there something in the film’s content that appeared to be spam?” — and whether the company had issued an official apology for the mistake.
Meta spokesperson Corey Chambliss told The Defender, “Thank you for reaching out. The link was mistakenly blocked and was quickly restored once the issue was discovered.”

Kennedy, CHD have faced censorship ‘for years’
CHD CEO Mary Holland called Meta’s censorship of the video “despicable.” She said it’s “the continuation of the censorship Children’s Health Defense [CHD] has faced for years.”
The film includes footage of CHD President Emerita Lyn Redwood, describing how Kennedy stood up to Big Pharma after he listened to mothers who believed their children had been harmed by mercury in vaccines.
In the film, Redwood and Kennedy explain that top U.S. public health officials in 2000 withheld Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data from public view — data that showed mercury-based thimerosal, a vaccine ingredient, could have been responsible for a dramatic increase in autism and other neurological disorders among children.
Holland told The Defender, “Health and democracy will not survive in the face of pervasive censorship. The truth, especially about vaccines, is critical.”
“CHD is proud to be at the forefront of the battle for freedom of the press,” she said, “and freedom of speech, indispensable constitutional principles for ensuring our children’s health and future.”
CHD General Counsel Kim Mack Rosenberg agreed, saying CHD is proud to be “taking a lead in courts around the country to stand up for free speech rights.”
CHD has a pending lawsuit against Facebook (Meta Platforms) in the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. The suit alleges government officials colluded with the social media giant to censor CHD.

Facebook deplatformed CHD on Aug. 17, 2022, and disabled Kennedy’s personal Instagram account on Feb. 10, 2021.
“In addition to Meta Platforms,” Holland said, “CHD is litigating against legacy media institutions, including The Associated Press, Reuters and The Washington Post, for violating antitrust laws.” The suit alleges members of the Trusted News Initiative violated antitrust laws and the U.S. Constitution when they collectively colluded with tech giants to censor online news.
Kennedy and CHD in March 2023 sued President Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci and other top administration officials and federal agencies, alleging they “waged a systematic, concerted campaign” to compel the nation’s three largest social media companies to censor constitutionally protected speech.
The case, Kennedy v. Biden, was consolidated in July 2023, in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, with another censorship lawsuit, Murthy v. Missouri.
The U.S. Supreme Court in March heard arguments on an injunction related to the case and is expected to rule early this summer.
Mack Rosenberg said that the plaintiffs in these cases — particularly Kennedy v. Biden — represent the interests of Americans who have a First Amendment right to receive information from a variety of sources.
“It is antithetical to democracy,” Mack Rosenberg said, “to allow the government and its proxies to dictate what we can read, hear, and see and, frankly, insults the intelligence of Americans by essentially suggesting Americans cannot weigh information from a variety of viewpoints in order to make independent decisions.”
After buying the film, American Values 2024 on May 3 launched it on YouTube.
American Values 2024 is a super PAC “committed to educating and mobilizing voters to elect candidates who will restore and protect the soul of democracy” in the U.S.

The group endorses Kennedy for the presidency.
The super PAC today wrote on Substack that many viewers tried to share the film on Facebook and Instagram but couldn’t.
The reasons Meta gave users were inconsistent, according to a press release by Kennedy’s presidential campaign team. Some were told the video was spam. Others were told the link went to a malicious website or that it contained “graphic and violent content.”
Some viewers were told the video violated community standards, while others simply got an error message saying that the “upload failed.”
Kennedy’s campaign collected screenshots from users and released a sampling in its press release.
Carson said, “Silicon Valley companies blocking political ads with which they don’t agree, while giving shifting and dissembling answers as to why they’re doing it, strikes at the heart of our democracy.”
After Meta started allowing users to share the video, it continued algorithmically suppressing the video — “to the point where the video gets zero views even when posted by users with thousands of followers,” the Kennedy team’s press release said.
“Not only were users prevented from posting the video, but in many cases, Meta also suspended their accounts for two or six days,” the press release said.
Despite Meta’s censorship, the film is trending on X, formerly known as Twitter, where the video has been viewed more than 12 million times and shared by thousands, the super PAC said.
The super PAC said the film shows that the prevailing narrative about Kennedy — which portrays him as “crazy” and “dangerous” — doesn’t match “the reality of who he is and the work he’s done as a successful environmental attorney and corruption fighter.”

CDC Stonewalls Requests for COVID Vaccine Safety Monitoring Documents

In its response to CHD’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking key communications records associated with the agency’s analysis of safety signals in its Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), the CDC said that “after a careful search of program emails,” it didn’t uncover any relevant documents.

“If the CDC carried out the follow-up investigations on safety signals detected in VAERS as described in the Standing Operating Procedures document for COVID-19, the agency should be able to provide CHD with the requested email communications and response plans,” Risa Evans, the CHD staff attorney who submitted the FOIA request told The Defender.

“The public would certainly benefit if the CDC and the FDA [U.S. Food and Drug Administration] made records of all their vaccine safety-monitoring activities fully available — regularly, and as a matter of course,” Evans said. “Unfortunately, even though the Freedom of Information Act requires transparency with respect to many of these records, actually obtaining them from the agencies is a challenge.”

CHD last week appealed the CDC’s response, alleging that the agency’s initial search was insufficient and it should check again.
“If the activities occurred, then the records exist, and the CDC should conduct the searches necessary to locate these records, which are clearly identified in the original FOIA request,” the appeal letter said.
In its appeal, CHD asked the CDC to conduct another thorough search within 20 days and provide a list of search terms and the accounts or domains searched.
According to the CDC and FDA protocols established in January 2021 as part of the VAERS Standing Operating Procedures, the agency should have been monitoring the database for safety signals and investigating those signals when they emerged.
The procedures document outlines the CDC’s VAERS surveillance protocols for the COVID-19 shots, including data processing, coding and follow-up, signal detection, and signal assessment.
As part of those protocols, the agency indicated that when it identified a safety signal warranting further investigation, the CDC’s VAERS team would notify leadership at the Immunization Safety Office (ISO), the FDA and other relevant agencies and develop a coordinated response plan.
It also said the ISO would notify the Vaccine Task Force and the leadership at the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, a subagency of the CDC, about any follow-up investigation after a signal was detected.
CHD asked the agency to search all locations, departments and systems likely to have records related to some of these communications. It requested the relevant notifications from the VAERs teams to the ISO leadership and all coordinated response plans and notifications from ISO leadership to the other entities.
In the original FOIA request, CHD also asked for VAERS data review summaries that the procedures document says the CDC will provide to relevant stakeholders. In response, the CDC sent a list of presentations made to the CDC’s vaccine advisory committee since 2021. The response also included a list of publications on COVID-19 vaccine safety monitoring.

This information was already publicly available.
CHD has sued CDC before to obtain documents from its COVID VAERS analysis
Nearly 1.9 million adverse events, including close to 37,000 deaths, from COVID-19 have been reported to VAERS, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) “early warning system” for possible risks from a vaccine.
That number vastly exceeds the total number of adverse events for all other vaccines over more than three decades.

To determine if the shots caused these adverse events, the CDC and FDA are supposed to monitor and analyze the reports to detect safety signals.
A safety signal is a sign that an adverse event may be caused by vaccination, but further research is required to verify a link.
In February 2023, CHD filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against the CDC to obtain documents related to the agency’s safety monitoring of the COVID-19 vaccines through VAERS.
In that request, CHD also sought information specified in the Standard Operating Procedures for COVID-19 document.

That document stipulated that both CDC and FDA would monitor the VAERS data, with each agency using a different standard approach to data mining to screen for potential safety signals.
The CDC would run proportional reporting ratio (PRR) data mining weekly, or as needed. PRR would compare the reports of specific adverse events suffered after receiving a Moderna or Pfizer mRNA vaccine to reports made after receiving any other vaccine to see if there is an indication that the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines cause more adverse events than vaccines generally considered by the CDC to be safe.
The FDA would conduct a biweekly thorough manual review of serious adverse events using empirical Bayesian (EB) data mining, which uses a different statistical method to compare adverse events related to the COVID-19 vaccine with those related to non-COVID-19 vaccines to identify safety signals.
According to the CDC, if these types of data mining raised a safety signal, the agencies would do further analysis to confirm that the vaccine caused the adverse event — and share that data with the public.
Both CHD and The Epoch Times began seeking information about this data via FOIA requests in 2022.

In June 2022, the agency told CHD and Josh Guetzkow, Ph.D., who worked on the FOIA with CHD, that it had not monitored VAERS for safety signals as it had said it would.
In July 2022, the CDC told The Epoch Times that it had been doing the PRR analysis since June 2021 — directly contradicting what it had told CHD. In August 2022, the agency changed its position again, informing The Epoch Times that it had not been performing the analysis since 2021.
Instead, the agency said it began PRR analysis on March 25, 2022, and stopped again on July 31, 2022. A spokesperson told The Epoch Times that it confused PRR analysis with the EB data mining that the FDA had been doing.
It said the analysis it had done was consistent with the FDA’s findings and the agency intended to rely on FDA’s data.
In January 2023, CHD filed a federal lawsuit against the FDA to obtain documents related to its empirical Bayesian data mining.
In February 2023, CHD sued the CDC for its PRR data, which had not yet been released at that time.
CHD’s lawsuit sought to compel the agency to produce records it had requested through FOIA about the agency’s PRR analysis.
After CHD sued, the CDC did begin turning over documents related to the PRR analysis and other records, beginning in March 2023.

Most of those documents are heavily redacted.

In August 2023, the CDC sent 512 pages of the requested documents to the FDA for a courtesy “consultation.” The court ordered the CDC to produce those records by the end of March 2024.
Instead, HHS filed a motion requesting to suspend the production of documents for 18 months, because it said the FDA was tied up and unable to complete the consultation.
CHD requested the court deny the HHS motion and compel CDC to produce the remaining documents. "

Only after my employer threatened my job did I get the Pfizer covid shot. In retrospect, I wish I had never taken the risk and should have just let Airbus follow through with their threat to fire me. The irony is the mandate was blocked later by SCOTUS. And for those who did their own research, they were discovered to be deadly. The Moderna patent for this mRNA technology stated that they contain self assembling lipid nanoparticle technology. And now that an estimated six hundred million doses have been administered to the US public, Bill Gates admits this.

“Making the mRNA is really easy and really cheap. And that's the magic of this thing. But there's no doubt in the next five years, we can, you know, we just need to mess around. Bill says these mRNA shots can easily be programmed to administer any type of spike protein pathogen. And the Moderna patent lists several. Over a hundred pathogens that can be control released over time so that deaths will appear to be random and mysterious. Those injected are understandably having a hard time accepting this reality, and while they are busy trying to figure out where all the heart attacks, turbo cancer, and neurological disease is coming from, they are being told that it’s due to Climate Change, and that regular pandemics are to now be expected.

During the roll-out of the experimental shots, mainstream media pundit, Chris Cuomo, pushed for vaccine passports and attacked vaccine hesitancy.

Cuomo assures us that there will be another pandemic. And this does seem to be the one sure thing in today’s uncertain times. The released notes on the current discussions of the WHO pandemic treaty, are all about profit margins. Disease X is coming. The US Dollar is beyond saving. But while it still has a heartbeat there are billions to be made by another fake pandemic. And the CEO of Blackrock, Larry Fink, is saying that because of Artificial Intelligence, continuing the depopulation agenda is a good thing.

Lost my 61 year old sister in January. Heart stopped, they said.

They said autopsy results could take 6 months - seems weird as that holds up life insurance and other estate resolution for the family.

She had a pacemaker which may have failed, so cause could be questioned or covered up for various liability reasons. She had had it checked out only weeks before.

My dad died 19 months ago - went to Emergency Room for stomach imaging tests, they let him choke on his vomit during a shift change until lack of oxygen caused heart failure and then brain death, while Mom cried out for someone to come do something.

They claimed tests showed a growth blocking stomach exit (could have been pancreatic), which in my view was likely a jab-caused turbo-cancer (which a cat scan a few days before from specialist did not find.)

Stay out of hospitals as much as possible, their incompetence can kill you. And question all diagnoses - too many errors are being made.

Campbell, a former nurse and healthcare educator, said this all sounded “quite incredible” and doubted any of it could be realized.

What qualifications, Campbell asked, does Gates have to be making such ambitious predictions?

“He’s not a doctor. He’s not a nurse. He’s not a pharmacist. He’s not a biomedical scientist. He’s not a dentist. He’s not a physiotherapist. He’s none of these things … He has no qualifications in these matters.”

Campbell’s main concern is that the proposed new mRNA vaccines will put lipid nanoparticles into the blood. The particles don’t stay in the arm, as the public was originally told, Campbell said. They systematically move throughout the body. Because they are fatty, just like the cells in the body, they fuse with them.

“The membranes will combine and they will become one and they will absorb into any fatty surface throughout the body,” he said. “That will mean they will discharge their contents into that cell.”

In the “TED Talk” clip, Gates said the COVID-19 vaccines “saved millions of lives,” but they can still be even better. “We need to invent easier-to-deliver vaccines that are just a patch you put on your arm or something that you inhale. We need vaccines that actually block infections.”

Gates has invested heavily in vaccine patches and is funding research on inhalable vaccines.

Gates also said there would be “innovative new vaccines” that can “eradicate entire families of viruses” like the coronavirus family or the flu families.

He promised such vaccines would “make people healthier” and “shrink the health equity gap” between rich and poor countries.

Campbell disagreed with most of the points Gates made.

For example, he wondered where the data were to prove that the COVID-19 vaccines “saved millions of lives.”

He said that instead of developing mRNA vaccines for every disease, there should be a “complete moratorium” on using mRNA lipid nanoparticle technology “until we know what the heck is going on.”

And the idea that one could eradicate a class of viruses “just sounds, well, like complete nonsense to be quite honest,” he said, because viruses are part of the planetary ecosystem and they serve a purpose.

Heralding the future of vaccines, Gates said more and better mRNA vaccines would make COVID-19 “the last pandemic.”

“Unfortunately, I don’t think Mr. Gates has the totality of the answer to that,” Campbell said. "

When the COVID vaccines were first being distributed to the public, the vaccine inserts were intentionally left blank. Because they were never safe and effective. And for those who did their own research, they were discovered to be deadly. The Moderna patent for this mRNA technology stated that they contain self assembling lipid nanoparticle technology. And now that an estimated six hundred million doses have been administered to the US public, Bill Gates admits this.

“Making the mRNA is really easy and really cheap. And that's the magic of this thing. But there's no doubt in the next five years, we can, you know, we just need to mess around. Bill says these mRNA shots can easily be programmed to administer any type of spike protein pathogen. And the Moderna patent lists several. Over a hundred pathogens that can be control released over time so that deaths will appear to be random and mysterious. Those injected are understandably having a hard time accepting this reality, and while they are busy trying to figure out where all the heart attacks, turbo cancer, and neurological disease is coming from, they are being told that it’s due to Climate Change, and that regular pandemics are to now be expected.

During the roll-out of the experimental shots, mainstream media pundit, Chris Cuomo, pushed for vaccine passports and attacked vaccine hesitancy.

Cuomo assures us that there will be another pandemic. And this does seem to be the one sure thing in today’s uncertain times. The released notes on the current discussions of the WHO pandemic treaty, are all about profit margins. Disease X is coming. The US Dollar is beyond saving. But while it still has a heartbeat there are billions to be made by another fake pandemic. And the CEO of Blackrock, Larry Fink, is saying that because of Artificial Intelligence, continuing the depopulation agenda is a good thing.
