This is one of MrMBB333 videos and the sunspot is over 120,000 miles in diameter. At 0:48 he showed the numbered sunspots, and the main one is 3664 which is equivalent to the Carrington Event. The one in the upper right is 3666.

Managed to get a nice view myself last night - but something odd also - I think ?
I walked into the kitchen late last night / morning in complete darkness to go and view and a set of cheap led lights ( just a string of 20 miniscule leds with a 2 x AA battery compartment from the pound shop) that are pinned around a kitchen window and left over from Christmas were ALL faintly lit - but the power box had no batteries in it !
They were about a quarter the brightness as when powered.
Can a charge in the air from this magnetic storm do that ?
I felt no static in the air, no thunderstorms around just the Aurora outside.

It seems that a CME impact on earth could do that, yes. That is why powerful geomagnetic storms are risky to our technology because they cause electricity to flow through everything that can conduct it. The only variable is how big the storm is that determines whether electronics or electrical systems get damage or not.

I also noted that HAARP is active from May 8-10th ... some are speculating that HAARP caused the auroras but as far as I know that is likely impossible, as the amount of energy required to do that is more than the power generation of all human electrical production on earth. But ... were they manipulating the interaction between the CME and magnetosphere? They have routinely always fired it up for Auroras if my memory serves.

Many people do not know how to use manual focus when filming in the dark or low-light settings filing OR photographing the Aurora Borealis ... thus they trust "auto-focus" will do the job ... but it mostly will not "do the job" if you have low-light settings ... That is why I urge everybody to practice manual focus (zooming in & zooming out) takes time to have the feel for it ... Depending on your type of camera you might have to search for your brand camera to find video tutorials/instructions. I have done that, and it really helps if you start practicing first. Also in handy if you can film ANY anomaly like a UFO

• If not, you may regret not preparing for it and lost the opportunity to record something really special the correct way.

If you are referring to my pics - it wasn't the focus - I'm a seasoned photographer, and I almost always use manual. The issue is that the only wide angle lens I had was the el cheapo kit lens, and it just simply can't do low light scenarios - trust me, I tried everything.

The volcano remains restless. Seismic activity continues to be slightly above background levels, showing that the volcano might be potentially preparing itself for new activity in a medium-term future (months or years from now).
Between 28 May and 4 June 2021, the observatory detected 11 volcano-tectonic earthquakes, but all of very small magnitudes of less than 0.2 only. The previous week had shown 7 quakes.
These quakes occurred inside the volcanic edifice at altitudes between sea level and 500 m, likely showing movements of volcanic fluids (gasses, hydrothermal water solutions, or small amounts of magma).
Signs of unrest that could herald an awakening of the volcano in the future have been registered since 2019. They also include a region on the volcano's flank where the vegetation has died, probably as result of increased ground degassing in this part.

Miller, I know right??? It has been a spectacular viewing event globally - unlike the April eclipse which was a US based event only - this is global and it has made so many people focus on the beauty rather than the ghastly ugliness of war and strife brought about by incompetent and insane leadership - a welcome break from constant dark, bad news, BUT.....

....like you, I KNOW, while so utterly beautiful, this is not good, not good at all. It is deadly. Not immediately - but from here on out.

(Personally, I have the perspective that our lives in these bodies on this planet are designed to have an expiry date, it is the one certainty and I have always been aware of that, so I just take each day as a gift, and enjoy whatever is in that day to the fullest.
