    Default Lights on the Mountain

This one is rather intriguing. My skeptical friend joined me on this trip to around 3K feet up and after star gazing for a while these lights show up on a very steep-v ridge, I went back up today to film the location where the lights were and it is an extreme incline. This would make navigating it very dangerous at night and even more interesting IMO. My friend claims he heard people but I never did. At any rate the ridge is 1/4 to 1/2 mile away from us and there is no road. It is interesting that the lights move and change in luminosity. Sometimes it looks like more than one light is with the brighter one.

You can see the energy sparks in mojo’s video. I don’t mean the stars. I use to watch them when I was younger in bed at night. They were colorful and buzzy and more often than not I could hear the activity.

Now I see the energy vibrate in the daytime especially when I look up at the sky. I attribute it to we’re changing enough to see more.

It would be very interesting to have a drone w/video launched from your location.
My first thought was a camp fire with movement around it or possibly the fire is being stoked but it does behave in a way that makes me skeptic of a fire.
I would be itchy to find out.
I have a drone you are welcome to borrow if you need.
Just PM me and I will gladly send it your way.

    Hi Chip,
Thank you for your kind offer. I did bring a drone with me but the DJI mini 3 couldn't fly in the gusty situation on the mountain top. Especially when the sun goes down and the thermal inversion in the valley. I am about to start the edit on the daylight footage of the area. Where the lights were is a steep razor back ridge mostly of rock so no fires for sure. And also the fact that the light moves is not like a campfire. I as you are itchy to find out. Last night after filming I did stay the evening to see if lightning would strike twice. There was nothing on the ridgeline but I did see some interesting flashes above me. Stay tuned...

You also caught an object in the sky starting at 4:20.
Its slightly right of centre and is moving right to left, prolly just a satellite, but just seems a bit low for a satellite.
Good catch of all things .

Because of the feedback by other members decided to take a closer zoomed in look of the Mountain Lights video. There are smaller additional lights in the footage that were distinguished in the zoom. I also made a comparison to footage from 2011 showing additional smaller lights. Uploading it now for review soon.

    Hi folks
Hope everyone had the opportunity to see the analysis and the daytime location. What might seem a normal light on a hill turns out to be a little more from the zoom edit. What I know about the location is that there is more going on.
