Default Medications worth acquiring for emergencies

I realized a few years back, as many were kept from being able to obtain possibly life saving medications during CoVid, that there is a real need to be able to have access to proper medications that could be life saving for an emergency... And given how quickly access to proper meds were cut off during CoVid, I feel it is important to have them BEFORE you actually need them...

I recently found a list of medications that were being sold as a kit, and would appreciate if others could add to it.. in case I missed the obvious... I do have a small supply of several medications, 4 of which appear on this list, but there has to be some I am missing that would serve more broad based uses...

Also good wound care and a good kit for stitches for cuts and breaks would be a good thing to have for a SHTF situation... I have an older but very thorough set of medical encyclopedias... They're not as current as I would like but have enough for an emergency situation...

Is there anything anyone else would ad to the list? Make it as long as you feel is helpful, for things I may not have even considered...

Multi use items are even better, such as salves, ointments, cleansing products for abrasive type injuries, etc..

This list is mostly for medications that would require a prescription, but over the counter helpers are appreciated as well...

    The kit included:

    Amoxicillin-Clavulanate
    Azithromycin (z-pak)
    Doxycycline
    Trimethoprim-Sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim)
    Metronidazole (Flagyl)
    Ivermectin
    Fluconazole (Diflucan)
    Ondansetron (Zofran)

As I said, I currently have 4 of the items on the list as well as several other things set aside in small quantities... But I also consider the fact that some people may have allergic reactions to some things, so a variety may be useful... And benadryl, while over the counter... is a MUST....

    Thanks in advance.

Dr Peter McCullough's The Wellness Company is recommending these to have in stock in the event of Bird Flu or worse, and they offer to provide them on an instantly granted prescription.

This is their Emergency Contagion Kit: (Note: they offer other 'kits' of bundled meds as well, all listed here)
    • Azithromycin (generic Z-Pak) 250 mg - 12 tablets
    • Budesonide 0.5 mg/2 mL – 10 vials (plus nebulizer included)
    • Hydroxychloroquine 200 mg -20 tablets
    • Ivermectin 12 mg – 25 tablets
    • Oseltamivir 75 mg (generic Tamiflu) - 10 tablets
(Personally, I might get some Ivermectin and HCQ, and trust the rest to my immune system. I have a cheap but effective little nebulizer, but have only ever used it with a combo of colloidal silver, oregano and peppermint oil.)

Peppermint oil, what is that used for Bill??? And a nebulizer is a great idea!

I believe thus far, I have, (without looking...)

    hydroxychloroquine
    ivermectin
    cipro
    Amoxicillin-Clavulanate
    Azithromycin (z-pak)
    Doxycycline

I am hoping I have covered all of the bases when it comes to antibiotics.... or treatments for the most common ailments... But there are so many little things I have yet to consider...

I also consider that I am highly allergic to many things so a great antihistime is a must in my kit.. And I plan to update my basics, like having ipecac and such in my kit. Of course I have bandages, scissors, etc.. But when looking in my medicine cabinet I can't help but be shocked at just how many items we buy for daily life inconveniences... Decongestants, cough drops for colds, etc... ibuprofen, or tylenol, etc... We have a ton of all of that. I am almost ashamed at how much we rely on modern day pills...

I plan to go through the cabinet and make sure that we have new, unopened supplies of the things we tend to rely on the most...

It's a mild antibacterial and antiviral, it's VERY good for teeth and gums (I brush my teeth with it as a toothpaste substitute), and I find that if I have even the tiniest early tickling in my throat a few drops of peppermint oil in the back of my throat makes it go away almost immediately.

Orajel Baby - cooling gels for teething (drug free)
    • Free from benzocaine, belladonna, eugenol, sugar, menthol, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sulfate, dairy, and artificial colors, dyes, and sweeteners.
Orajel Baby worked for me while waiting for an emergency dentist appointment and it’s only $5-$7.

Sutures for sewing up wounds, and an iodine wound cleaner like Betadine

Sutures are only sold as "practice" or "practice kits" in the uk, they still work fine, you might want to get a pair of those surgical grips too. It's easy to push the needle in, the hard bit is where it comes out on the other side of the wound, you"ll need to hold the skin down or it will pull on the wound.

Might sound gory but it's not that bad, if SHTF hospitals are probably best avoided.

Merck makes ivermectin under the brand name Stromectol. Can we trust Merck? Is there a company that people can truly trust?

I recommend Sovereign Silver, or similar bioactive silver hydrosol. I strongly recommend Dr Nordykes New Zealand Wound Honey.
It never goes bad and is an excellent healer for wounds. I used it when I was caring for Ron for skin breakdown, and the Hospice nurse was even impressed. Fairly reasonably priced. Also, an inexpensive bottle of calamine lotion, over the counter and useful for poison ivy and the like. And generic full strength aspirin. Many uses and keeps a long time, although aspirin is problematic for some people.

    My medicine kit >>

A variety of therapeutic grade essential oils- including peppermint, clove, citrus, cinnamon, pine, ( frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood; for spiritual clearing )
A variety of dried herbs- including peppermint, chamomile, olive, orange peel, licorice, dandelion, comfrey, burdock, clove, nettle
Lavender oil tincture <-- the kind made with alcohol *this is for bites and literally almost anything that itches
A variety of salts, clays and charcoals
    Cascara sagrada
    Ashwagandha Root Powder
    Wormwood tincture(s)
    Uva Ursi tincture *bladder infections
    Ginger *diuretic
    Ceylon cinnamon
    Honey
    Aloe

As of a couple years ago, I also keep on hand a variety of common pain relievers
    (for potential future emergencies)

Peppermint is what I use more than anything. I would describe it as a strong overall intentional cleanser and deterrent for any pathogenic type of 'bug' ( bacteria, virus, fungus, mite, etc.. ). It works the entire intestinal tract, mouth to rectum. Mostly it will be felt in the stomach, which is greatly relieved by this wonderful plant.

Speaking of pain relievers, have you used wild lettuce? I have not used it yet but apparently it is effective but not addictive like an opiate drug. I have a couple of friends who swear by it for pain, which often accompanies emergencies. Here is an article about it: https://www.primalsurvivor.net/wild-lettuce/

ANTI-HISTAMINE... Whether prescription or over the counter.
It's one of those simple medicines that often gets overlooked for first aid kits.

There's this mind set that it's just for hayfever season, but it's for any kind of allergic reaction/skin rashes.

I also carry three pure essential oils - Lavender (for wounds), Eucalyptus (for respiratory complaints) and Peppermint (for stomach complaints & diarrhoea).

Tamiflu? From the wellness company? When we see such a company suddenly being adopted by a large number of health practitioners and the companies they represent, shouldn't we do at least a minimum of research on who is backing the push, who is doing all of the marketing?

Did all of the reports of the Japanese on all of the suicides committed by teenagers soon after taking Tamiflu somehow get mysteriously removed from the net? No. Not yet, except for the "new" studies which were pharma pushed that "concluded" those deaths and side effects were anomalies.

Was the large store of pre-purchased lots from those countries suddenly reacquisitioned and repurposed? Even after the Japanese Gov't. recalled all of the doses back in the early 2000's?
Has the product been reformulated and subsequently clinically retested for the appearance of such extreme adverse reactions, or NOT?

I do see that most of those natural, organic ingredients noted above have been proven to be effective against the ill effects from exposure to the most recent bio-weapon and it's variants, as well as being proven to be effective treatments for other common ailments. However, due diligence is always necessary before taking on the entirety of any new companies product line.

BEWARE of not only those reports that are current, but also those that rewrite and coverup previous data proving adverse reactions to pharmaceuticals that proved the existence of unusual side effects. In the case of this particular concoction the adverse drug reactions of depression, suicidal tendencies and suicide itself were stark, then and now.

It does make so much more sense to personally evaluate our own bodies reactions to natural products, long before taking an over the counter or even a prescribed medicinal. It is wise to consider our entire bodily systems as being highly sensitive to the vibrance alive in these natural ingredients by using these plant medicines with that in mind, taking much smaller doses than we are used to taking when using such unnatural medicines with all of their unnecessary ingredients.

By now the proof of the deeply deceptive motivations and actions of the pharma class have proven to be life shortening and, as in the case of the current mandates, deadly for millions. Most here, at least by now, know that the vast majority of marketed medicines are not designed to truly heal, but exist only to make the commoner permanent patients of the modern medical cult.

Yes yes yes to everything here, plus, Oil Of Oregano (minimum 86% carvacol - thymol 2%) A powerhouse - antibacterial, antioxidant, antifungal, anti inflammatory. Helps you to sail through respiratory illnesses as well as other lurgys. I recommend the Zane Hellas Greek one.

I agree 100%. Oil of oregano is my immediate first-stop go-to panacea for almost everything viral or bacterial.

There is a lot of concern in alternative circles that some products could be contaminated with nanoparticles/synthetic biology. Some people on Substack have bought products and put them under their microscopes. Some they found contamination in are: dental anaesthetics, insulin, iodine, zeolite and famotidine. I don't know about the famotidine, but the others were all liquids.

I bought ivermectin through a link on this man's Substack, took it and had no ill effects: https://www.2ndsmartestguyintheworld...m_medium=email. (This is his new article, but it has a link to ivermectin on it.) It is expensive ($80 US for 2 boxes), but I would buy it from them again because I think it is clean.

    Re: some remedies worth having:

Dr. Peter McCullough has written about hudroxychloroquine as a remedy for bird flu:https://substack.com/home/post/p-144925335

Dr. Ana Maria Mihalcea has a protocol for removing nanotechnology. There are several things in it, including EDTA, but part of it is to use two drops each of cinnamon oil, grapefruit oil and lemon oil in a veggie cap, twice a day with food. Thieves oil can be used instead, but hers is milder on the stomach. The reasoning behind this part of her protocol is that essential oils can dissolve plastic, and nanotechnology seems to have synthetic polymers in it.

Many people are also using enzymes against nanotechnology: like lumbrokinase, nattokinase, serrapeptase, quercetin with bromelain, and NAC. You take it several hours after you have had food, otherwise the enzymes will digest your food, rather than purifying your system. I take them before bed.

I think the remedies you will stockpile is based on your belief system about what challenges you are likely to face. If you think the environment is likely polluted with nanoparticles, which could be -- and maybe have been activated by EMP frequencies to produce disease -- these are some of the things you might keep on hand.

It is a very big topic to look at all the research and recommended remedies for this, more than one post for sure.

    And finally --

I think everyone should have a homeopathic flu remedy at home. A good one for stomach flus is Oscillococcinum. It comes in little cannisters. Use the smallest amount you can get on your tongue. You can use each cannister around ten times.

It is good to have a bottle of Bach Rescue Remedy. Its purpose is to change the energy around crisis situations so that it is no longer an emergency. The body reacts to many situations as an emergency: boils, wasp stings, being about to throw up -- as well as to car accidents, etc. -- so Rescue Remedy is very versitile.

If you are interested in using homeopathy -- which I think works for man-made illnesses as well as natural ones -- you can get on your search engine and put in "homeopathy for ___". It will give you a list of remedies to choose from. You can even put in "homeopathy for marburg" or "homeopathy for ebola" if you want

Some that I keep around the house are:

arsenicum album -- for when you are vomiting and have diarrhea at the same time

aconite -- for when you are becoming ill quickly

antimonium tartaricum -- for when you are getting ill and are getting weaker and weaker, and all you want to do is lie down

these three remedies work well with respiratory infections. 30C will probably work.

another interesting remedy is Thuja -- if you were vaccinated, and you are having symptoms in the moment that you think might be from the vaccine, Thuja might help.

A variety of therapeutic grade essential oils- including peppermint, clove, citrus, cinnamon, pine, ( frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood; for spiritual clearing )
A variety of dried herbs- including peppermint, chamomile, olive, orange peel, licorice, dandelion, comfrey, burdock, clove, nettle
Lavender oil tincture <-- the kind made with alcohol *this is for bites and literally almost anything that itches
A variety of salts, clays and charcoals
    Cascara sagrada
    Ashwagandha Root Powder
    Wormwood tincture(s)
    Uva Ursi tincture *bladder infections
    Ginger *diuretic
    Ceylon cinnamon
    Honey
    Aloe

As of a couple years ago, I also keep on hand a variety of common pain relievers
    (for potential future emergencies)bou
I have not, but I will look into this! Thank you.

Different people have very varying levels of tolerance for oregano oil. I'm fortunate in that I can tolerate it well, and I take it as 12-15 drops in a tablespoon of olive oil. But that's a LOT at once, and I'd recommend anyone who's not used to it to try just a couple of drops at a time and then maybe progress from there.

But you can also get it in small tasteless capsules, and I'd highly recommend these from Puritan's Pride: (Though there are many other good brands which I've not tried which offer the same thing)
