    Cool A most unusual NDE

As if any of them are not ? This Russian woman Irada tells her story on Jeff Maras show.

This had me floored and I have since given it several listens

Irada seems to explain the unexplainable on the edge of nothingness.

The very true essence of who we are and how we come about at the creation of the" I "

Id love to hear thoughts on this?

Very interesting Doug. Am half way.

Irada’s description of the process of how (the identity of) the concept and the thing becomes/is (the identity of) the consciousness and the “I” corresponds disarmingly to the constitution of the bráhman (the “Formula”) in the Vedas which "Formulation” at the same time constitutes the Brahmán (the “Formulator”) – as explained by Louis Renou.

It also dovetails with, I think, the experience of expression (both are also Irada’s own words!) as creation that is the artist’s, or the thinker’s, philosopher’s, discoverer’s. I think you will agree, as well as other PA members who are in those disciplines.

Very striking is also this: she insists (rightly so) on the desire of being, living – almost another term maybe for creation, and her name, Irada, means in Arabic, and in a few languages who absorbed the Arabic word into their own vocabularies (like Persian, and Ottoman Turkish, and Urdu): desire.

Michel/ of course you would have the most insightful and illuminating analysis of this.

i found it fascinating her description of herself as evil , the components being= intelligence and stubbornness. And how if you cannot accept yourself as you truly are, you will be continually draining your system of its resources and unable to raise above it.

    About halfway thru...

The word she was struggling to find, when describing how she imagined herself to be, is "virtuous". She sounds like she's describing herself as "woke", sort of (before the transformation of course). Stubborn, self-righteous, etc. She had an ego investment in her goodness, basically.

I like Jeff Mara's show because he always seems to center the outliers. They are never typical cases.

Enjoying this one so far. I really like listening to Irada speak. She expresses herself so lucidly and thoughtfully and enthusiastically. Good stuff

Fascinating story. I've heard of this place before, that she describes as a black void of nothingness. Supposedly, it's an astral buffer zone sitting between the lower and higher realms. Not hell, and not heaven -- Catholics call it Purgatory.

Here, the soul is stripped of self, thought, and all worldly baggage, and is reduced to a point of basic awareness. It's like a reboot for a soul that is damaged, or a long way short, or wide, of fulfilling their soul contract. It's rare to hear of it in an NDE though.

Mark. yes like a reboot of sorts. Almost what my i phone or computer does in its beginning to power on, a small electrical spark or message and then a realization of its memory etc.
    Then full memory access !

Well, after an enthusiastic start, I went to see several of the videos of his channel, and we come to this one for example or the people of Atlantis who installed the matrix of control of this planet for the good of our evolution.
Another umpteenth version of what supposedly happened on this planet. I let you discover here her special relationship with reptilians and the devil she met several times.

Another thing that bothers me is the recurrence of words like "clean the machine" "download data" in us and all this vocabulary very close to the computer to describe us even if the metaphor may be relevant at some point.

I do not want to make hasty judgments or indulge in a "white or black" attitude, but I still have some reservations.

Default Re: A most unusual NDE

Thank you Doug. I watched the whole interview. Without yet having read the other members’ comments I want to add just a few things to mine.

Irada. Her family name is Abbasova and so we may cautiously infer that she is a Turkic (not necessarily Turkish (Turkish belongs to the Turkic languages, Azeri being another one)) Russian, or citizen of the former Soviet Union ("Abbasova being a "russianisation” of the Persian/Turkish “abbâs”). I guess she is from the Azerbaijan Soviet Republic, which is now the independent State of Azerbaijan. That would explain her being in Istambul, as Istambul plays the role of phare city or cultural reference point for all Turkic speakers of the region and also for the other cultures of the wider region.

It may also be behind her playful comment at the end on Sofiya, "wisdom” in Greek – and, as we may know, one of the "identities" taken on by the Third Divine Person in Christianity, the Holy Spirit (a feminine word in Semitic languages). “Irada” then, says Irada, “means willpower”. That made me smile, because in a way by saying that she very much proves to be her old self still (and I do not think that the NDE should necessarily imply a full makeover of the personality, given that the basic rule is "Be!”): if we look it up, in Turkish irade means "will" (rather than "willpower"), but also "want", "desire". And in Arabic the verb irâda means "to want, desire"; two nouns derived from the verb are the beautiful first name Murâd, or in Turkish Murat, “the wanted one”, “the desired one”, and "murîd” ("the wanter", "the desirer") which is the title carried by a novice... in a Sufi order: the one who “wants, desires” the Sofia, the wisdom that Sufism can bring.

From will to desire. Not bad as a program for "being", or "becoming" ("coming to be").

So there was Irada, in Istambul, seeking solace from a physician, and this physician proved to be a Sufi master who had been looking out for a “murid” – and got a "murîda” instead – and in the shadow of the Aya Sofia church/mosque he allowed her to fully embrace Sofiya. Beautiful, isn't it?

I made two notes at things Irada said that surprised me. When asked how we choose our incarnations, she said something like "...the ones that do not scare us”. After having said that it is governed by the law of Attraction. And stating that the impulse to be embodied again is desire.

The second note – but that may be just me – is the omnipresence of a "technical", IT-derived metaphor (files, download, filing cabinet, information, retrieve) which is as alien to me as was the shape of the Akashic records at the end of Interstellar. Too angular, too square.

What would work better for me is the web-like shape of brain current or stellar nebulae. That would also be much closer to her own initial experience of the white scintillating dots in a black-filled void.

Oh Doug yes, intelligence and stubbornness. Are we not stubborn when we try to stick to intelligence in situations that do not require it (but empathy instead, or fantasy, for instance) – up to the point of becoming terribly un-intelligent? Stubborn stupidity?

The only thing that works it out for me in recent years is "turning it all off", (true coma with smile ) , if only for the fact it's been increasingly difficult "to do" that's why I'm delaying it.

Everything else is a battle or was turned to ever intense battle between various "knowers" and their "agnostics" accompanied by vivid visualisations and projections of diverse realms, consciousnesses, aka "heavens and hells",
with all that's pure that remained to me are my memories and intelligence surpassing fluctuations of time ( and so forth).

The ravings of human collective consciousness in its diverse formations and unique frequencies merging and colliding with each other in a manner of new thrilling entertainment turned my inner eye rolling sometimes to the point of nausea ,
in the heat and bouts of seasonal flu , awareness spinning from simple Wu to advanced state of seemingly lasting awakening promising non stop work out .

Well till I have eventually managed to turn it ALL off for continuous 12 hours and forgot much of it upon waking ,
that's all the internet mumbo jumbo info flux of last about 2 decades ,

returned to default, with clearly set preferences and properties , not seen "on the IT" that's it and paper books do not seem to hurt that much so somewhere in between the Systems there's a small window of opportunity ,

I swear it's there and there's nothing but your old normal self-no-self on the other side and its normal spiritualitě and so forth,

is there. That's my best nde of recent and the closest I needed to get to the gate of going

forever , because every forever too is but a dot

on the Universal canvas of reality.

At 1:10:42, following Jeff's question there is an excellent mic drop. "We get what we are." BOOM. In contrast to Jeff's question that was a quite satisfying moment. I also like the way she screws up her face, before answering just as honestly as she answered EVERYTHING. This is one of the most incredible things that happens during an awakening. Self-judgment dissolves utterly. It feels good to state things exactly the way they are. It is known this is the only way to take an actual step forward. At the same time, we have in a large sense exceeded the previous construct.

Thank you Doug and Abondance for the links, and everyone else for your insightful comments. We are an impressive community.

Irada's message resonated with me and I really appreciate her ability to explain her ideas and beliefs. I suspect this is because of her analogous use of computer system components and processes (I have an IT background). Having said that however, I believe, Jung's model of the collective unconscious and shadow work is a more accurate and comprehensive way to describe these concepts. Within that context (i.e. Jung), her use of the word evil and dark/black etc. maps to the unwanted, rejected unconscious associated with shadow work.

Irada's frequent use of the word evil motivated me to write this post because I hold a very specific definition for that word. For me, evil is the actions, deed, and thoughts that hinder or destroy the creation, enablement, or facilitation of life. I don't believe this is what she is describing when she uses the term evil.
Happiness comes from within, nowhere else.

Vangelo/ well said regarding the term evil . Of course, we all assign a different prominence to words that can have analogous inferences from people of different cultures. I too did not like the term evil in how she used it but understood her meaning. But I am with you, regarding what evil is. Thanks!!

Yep, I've explored her a little further as well and find some of her ideas to be misguided and naive. I only offer that as an opinion, and readily admit I can be misguided and naive as well.

But, she appears to be not just wrong about what we call the devil, but dreadfully wrong. For her to be right, the volumes of time-tested information I've consumed from well-respected researchers and experiencers would have to be wrong, and I just can't make that leap (and also my own personal experiences and intuitions).

I'm not prepared to dismiss her outright, but I'm a bit skeptical.

I will say I went to her youtube channel and was somewhat let down. im not sure what remades she is offering. I will take her original experience as my main interest.

I would add that any differences in terminology we may have with her, it would be fair to have her address them directly for her clarity .

Doug – I forgot to say this. After watching the second half – and echoing what other members have written here – I am not so sure any more..

    “Mixed feelings.”

I am under the impression that Irada has let her old self back in to take hold of the new content. Her experience the object, the domain of her near death experience gained new persuasion about reality – of her new “mission”. Somehow slid back into the old mould.

As an aside: intriguing play of her hands, as if speaking the body language of another being.

Yes I get it. As i said above, not her NDE so much but her youtube channel. She has some good analogies and messages, but it is starting to be somewhat compromised. Maybe its cause she sees or has been encouraged to make it into a potential business or career?
Hey remember, she's only human. I think?

That certainly plays its part Doug, yes. In that case, formulated otherwise: if I had anxieties about what awaits me after the body is jettisoned, would I consult her? You may guess my answer.
