    This is actually really rather brilliant, and she will not be alone: good on yer Jane

    Source: https://x.com/Fox_Claire/status/1806644338413232563
    This is how to hold politicians to account. I was cheering you Jane - what a star. Not letting Starmer get away with his practised lines ("absolute twaddle" as you pithily described it) and that irritating, self-congratulatory 'what I have done for women's spaces in the past' routine: "I'm not interested. What about now?" Bravo. Everyone should listen.

    ...

    A rather brilliant Jane from London trying to get a straight answer out of Kier Starmer on women's rights.

    Why am I the person who has to reveal these things?
    (1:26)
    It's not quite clear what George is referring to here but my guess it's when Keir Starmer said, "My father was a toolmaker . . ."

    Must've been an unintentional gaffe, but if I'm wrong, please correct me

    If Nigel Farage doesn't go on then he doesn't get airtime for Reform which plays into the hands of the BBC and party competitors imo. It would be better to raise it during the interview along with promoting his party's "contract". Nigel Farage is more than able to defend himself verbally as we know.

    Nigel Farage EXPOSES Our Leaders SHOCKING Salaries
    (8:26)
    Posted 3 days ago but obviously filmed just after Nigel Farage's jaunt in the jungle.

    Nigel says (paraphrasing) that he "left a lot of money on the table to go into politics"

    The talk about MP salaries starts at 5:09 where he says MP basic salaries are half what a Medical GP or Headmaster would earn (really?? see below)

    Taken from Wikipedia website:
    The basic annual salary of a Member Of Parliament (MP) in the House of Commons is £91,346, as of April 2024. In addition, MPs are able to claim allowances to cover the costs of running an office and employing staff, and maintaining a constituency residence or a residence in London.

    Members of the House of Lords are not salaried. They can opt to receive a £332 per day attendance allowance, plus travel expenses and subsidised restaurant facilities. Peers may also choose to receive a reduced attendance allowance of £166 per day instead.

    Taken from European Parliament website:
    All MEPs earn the same salary. An MEP's monthly salary is €10,377.43 gross and €8,089.63 net, after deduction of EU taxes and insurance contributions (figures as of 01/01/2024). The funds come out of the Parliament's budget.
    Note: Current Exchange rate: £8,782 per month

    He goes on to say "an MEP lives a millionaire's lifestyle without the income". I don't know what planet Nigel's living on :/.

    My view on the 'should he or shouldn't he' - re Nigel going on with BBC 'journalist' Laura Kuenssberg....after the sneaky malice of BBC Question Time with their OBVIOUS planted audience - working for Shadowy forces and hoping to negatively twist the perception of the Public regarding Reform UK.... ...... my view is that I trust Nigel's instincts on this matter and we don't know what else might be behind it - because he wouldn't give up the chance to use any platform if it was going to be useful for Reform or the Country... after the Channel 4 'election interference' with the Actor set up... he may be preparing to sue... and he might also be looking into doing the same with the BBC....so it could affect his case if he happily went onto the BBC again...

    Let's not forget that part of the Reform Contract with the electorate is to abolish the BBC licence - (£169.50 per year) so all those working for the BBC - not only take the 30 Pieces of Silver..... (random link) as a salary - they are also required to obey the dictates of the Globalist controlled Ruling Class.....

    The BBC fear Nigel and Reform UK.... on an individual, personal basis - imagine having to give up their lucrative jobs and look elsewhere for employment ---- after the high status and high wages of the BBC - oh dear - what would the (mentally enslaved) BBC Wokesters and the Luvvies do...?? .... ..... let's put it like this - Counsellors and Psychologists and similar would have a field day and MANY more clients... :/

    Compromising with the media machine is ass kissing not revolution.

    The country needs an electoral revolution. Farage is the closest thing we've got to one right now.

    Totally agree....

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    general comment>>>>
    This is the best chance we've had for 'electoral revolution' for a long time - hence the HEAVY Establishment MSM attacks building up over the last couple of weeks... against Nigel and Reform UK...
    The terms Right Wing and Left Wing have been hijacked and exploited by those who want to divide people - Nigel Farage and George Galloway - and others like Andrew Bridgen and Jeremy Corbyn to name couple of Independents are all part of the Truth Wing... who are breaking away from the clutches of Billionaire (trillionaire) Globalist control....
    So many apparently intelligent and professional people seem to have NO IDEA what's going on in politics and the world in general... perhaps they just haven't given the time and effort to educate themselves on it all.... for example the other day during a short conversation with a medical professional about the election I was asked if my support went to 'Red or Blue' .... I said.... God neither of them.... they are the same run by the same wealthy people behind the scenes... the Merry~Go~Round...
    Then I was thinking - oh what colour would I describe Reform UK as - that bluey greeny colour...and I said I'm supporting the Sapphire colour.... ..... adding Reform UK..... she actually looked a bit shocked at my strong reply and we decided this probably wasn't the place to discuss politics - and went on with the examination.....
    edit to add.... I should have said turquoise not sapphire...
    Who gave us red and blue, right and left ?
    The same people who gave us Sunderland V Newcastle, Everton V Man U and the stadium holding pens they relaced Butlins camps with.
    See how that works ?
    They don't think like football fans, we shouldn't either.
    I had a reform leaflet in the post and I have to say I find it quite repulsive.
    No mention of leaving the WHO and all about stopping the migrants boats.
    The danger is that Farage might end up with all sorts of racists and other people with dodgy ideas in his ranks since there has been so little time to prepare.
    I think the polls might be a bit skewed too because I suspect many people will say in the polls that they will vote Reform and then chicken out and vote for the devil that they think they know.
    A big shake up is needed but whoever gets in will be there for 4 years and somehow find their way through this mess.
    Here's an interesting 50 minute episode that I dug out of my archive the other day called Heresies: BBC Bias Exposed - An Insider's Story put together by Robin Aitken a former BBC employee. This was made in 2021. It's one of a fair few damning documentaries that put the Beeb in the frame for all sorts of, well, heresies if you like. It's primary focus is on the culture within the corporation.
    This description from the New Culture Forum YouTube page:
    The New Culture Forum proudly presents #NCFHeresies, Episode 5: "BBC Bias Exposed - An Insider's Story", presented by writer and former BBC journalist Robin Aitken, author of "Can We Trust the BBC?" and "The Noble Liar: How & Why the BBC Distorts the News to Promote a Liberal Agenda"
    Featuring interviews with figures such as Lord (Charles) Moore, Rod Liddle, Lord Pearson of Rannoch, Bishop Michael Nazir Ali & Andrea Jenkyns MP, "BBC Bias Exposed" reveals why the BBC is in the grip of an ideology that prevents it reporting fairly on the world.
    Robin Aitken shows how the BBC's internationalist, secularist & multiculturalist world view prevents it from providing fair and balanced news. Never was this more apparent than in it coverage of:
    * the EU & Brexit
    * Donald Trump
    * Black Lives Matter
    * the persecution of Christians (a subject rarely reported compared with BBC reporting on the plight of other persecuted religious minorities).
    I don't have a photo ID but I should be on the list
    Just for little me I'm not worried, but I wonder how many thousands of older (patriot) types are being bounced from this election. I can understand *'no photo ID' is a minority but it's a demographic threat to the crooks.
    * I've not changed address since photo ID driving licenses came in. I'm boggling my mind trying to imagine how many of them there are, and who they would most likely vote for.
    edit to add:
    Where I live is such a safe Labor stronghold ( but got beaten last time for the Brexit issue ) that my vote isn't going to make any difference anyway.
    This, from Neil Oliver, would be a very good candidate for our Great Quotes thread:
    "We are tormented by unlawful people posing as legitimate leaders and would-be leaders. By any meaningful, moral understanding of right and wrong we are under no - zero - obligation to abide by a single thing any of them says or does, now or in the future.
    On the subject of immigration and migration quotas I'm reposting this from earlier last week. Given our political elite and their allegiances and subservience to the globalist corporatocracy - which of course as we know bypasses the will of the people - this document and its scenario outlines detail quite clearly who (and what) is driving this insanity.
    ----------
    The United Nations' Population Division produced this document in 2000 titled:
    Replacement Migration: Is it A Solution to Declining and Ageing Populations?
    Source: https://www.un.org/development/desa/...tmigration.pdf
    Pages: 177
    For the UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND one can scroll down to page 67.
    Here is a snapshot of their various scenarios; replacement theory IS a thing, don't be fooled otherwise. The other thing to bear in mind of course is how does this fit with a depopulation agenda (EDIT 2024-06-30: there are other threads that discuss that so I won't labour on that so much here):
    --------
    Scenario V
    Scenario V keeps the potential support ratio at its 1995 level of 4.09. Keeping this ratio would require 59.8 million migrants (my emphasis - TQ) between 1995 and 2050, slightly more than one million migrants a year on average. The overall population would reach 136 million in 2050, of which 80 million (59 per cent) would be post-1995 migrants or their descendants.
    It doesn't look like I'm getting a polling card this time.
    Have others received a polling card, or is it all electronic ID stuff now?
    I've received a polling card too, norman, along with my two offspring. But in the last By Election we didn't and just went along to the polling station with ID (passport, driving licence, etc - you'll need something with a photograph). Until a couple of days ago people without a passport or driver's licence could have applied for proof of id with their birth certificate, but the deadline for that has now passed. Having to prove who you are with a photograph - the noose is ever-tightening :/).
