His shooter was apparently about 400 feet due north of Trump, on top of the southern most AGR Internatlional (American Glass Research building, that's near the top of the following image:

The shooter location looks like a perfect spot for a SS Sniper, not an assassin! To me this looks like one of the best spots for an assassin to take a shot....yet it wasn't secure????? Something stinks!

Massive Secret Service Failure Led To Nearly Successful Assassination Of Donald Trump?

When looking at the circumstances in favor of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the identified alleged suspect in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, PA, it's hard to see how the guy failed. Almost every Secret Service security protocol seems to have been ignored, allowing Crooks easy access to a perfect shooting position and plenty of time to acquire a bead on Trump's podium.



The rooftop used by Crooks was a mere 140 yards away from the event with a clear line of sight to the right of Trump. Those familiar with precision shooting know that any shot within 300 yards is considered easy for a moderately trained rifleman. With the right caliber an expert can hit a torso sized target consistently at 1000 yards or more. At 140 yards any amateur should be able to hit a pie plate-sized target with little difficulty, even without a magnified optic.

The Secret Service is supposed to secure all obvious "sniper perches" well before the arrival of a protectee - Meaning, nearby rooftops and buildings are supposed to have a security presence in place along with drone surveillance. In the case of Butler, PA, this was apparently not done. SS snipers were only present on the building right behind the venue stage.



The lack of a security presence at the building across the field made it possible for the would-be assassin to brazenly jaunt to the location and climb to the rooftop with his rifle in broad daylight. The SS traditionally uses concentric "circles of security" going out hundreds if not thousands of yards when preparing a location for protection. Watch the video below for insight on how meticulous the Secret Service is supposed to be when preparing an area to prevent assassination attempts.

The idea of Crooks being able to get that close with an elevated position on the stage is unthinkable. Another fail was the lack of sight obstructions put in place near the stage. The Secret Service is supposed to erect barriers to block the line of sight from potential shooting locations. Again, this was not done.

Finally, there's the dismal lack of response time. Witnesses outside the event report that they saw Thomas Crooks climbing to the building rooftop with his rifle at least three minutes before he started shooting. They claim they tried to warn police and Secret Service agents to no avail.

"How could you have somebody on the rooftop?" said House Majority Leader Steve Scalise - a victim of political violence, after the shooting. "There are reports that people watched him climb up the roof and even alerted authorities, and we're going to be looking into that."

Meanwhile, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer on Saturday night demanded immediate answers from the Secret Service as to how it failed to prevent the assassination attempt.

As Just the News notes, warning signs about the Secret Service were there months before the Trump assassination attempt.

Back in May, Congress requested a briefing with the Secret Service, after several incidents allegedly raised internal concerns over the quality of its trainings.

A petition within the Secret Service has reportedly been circulating because of the incidents and called for a congressional investigation into the agency, according to Comer.

One incident saw a Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris allegedly attack her superior and other agents. The unnamed agent also exhibited other "concerning" behavior, according to her colleagues.

Luckily for Trump, Crooks seems to have had terrible aim and he was not smart enough to shoot from a covered position which would have offered him protection and allowed him even more time. Unfortunately, the shooter's stray bullets hit at least three bystanders in the crowd, leaving one dead and two in critical condition. The security failure in this situation is so complete that former Secret Service agents are admitting it publicly and calling for an investigation into how this could have happened.

"I have already contacted the Secret Service for a briefing and am also calling on Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to appear for a hearing," Comer said on X. "The Oversight Committee will send a formal invitation soon. There are many questions and Americans demand answers."

The motive for Thomas Crooks' actions is not yet known. Reports claim the 20-year-old Bethel Park resident was registered to vote as a Republican, yet, he also donated money to Democrat run organizations in 2021, including ActBlue and the Progressive Turnout Project.

As we warned only two weeks ago, Democrat rhetoric has been increasingly violent after the Supreme Court decision on Trump's prosecution immunity. Many Democrat representatives and activists openly suggested Trump could (or should) be assassinated in response to the ruling. The media's fear mongering over the "imminent destruction of Democracy" should Trump prevail might not be directly related to the shooting attempt, but it certainly doesn't help. In the wake of the failed assassination many have still taken to social media to argue that the shooting was "staged", while others complained that the shooter missed his target.

Regardless of one's position on Trump, this kind of political vitriol should be considered poisonous. It can only lead to more violence in the future. Again, the shooter was given every opportunity; Democrats almost got what they have long wanted.

Im tired of reading opinions from dribbling spastics who think it was staged, many of whom exist here on ZH.

The bullet hit his ear. People died. It was centimeters from blowing his brains out on a livestream in front of the world.

The question is not whether it happened, but why it was allowed to happen.

A cursory look at the facts show it was either the most incompetent security of all time, or something much more nefarious.

Security lapses my asss. They set Trump up. The shooter knew what rooftop would be unsecured, they let the first shooter have 5 shots and did nothing to stop him until after he could have killed Trump and after he had shot 3 other people, killing an innocent bystander. The leader of Trump's SS prevented one of his men from taking out the assassin BEFORE he shot at Trump I have seen this movie before, how would he know what rooftop to shoot from unless he had been given instructions?

Trump supporters were screaming and waiving for secret service or cops to stop the guy with a gun that was obviously not security and was army crawling on the roof top in plain view to position himself for a shot - and they did NOTHING to protect Donald Trump from this assassination. January, Trump's first day....Defund and disband the FBI, the Secret Service and dismantle every single Federal agency. This was a set up, right from the top down, because they were ready to name Nikki Haley as the Republican nominee.

Social media is a unmitigated disaster for the human family. The same people who in real life dominate the stage, insisting that they be the center of attention are the ones who get that attention online. The difference is that with these social media sites these ego maniacs can now get the whole world to listen to them.

These are the same people who always capture all the attention, disrupt gatherings, butt in line, expect justice for themselves in spades, and instill insane rhetoric into normal peoples' minds. They have always been the disruptors. They revel in it. They are the reason most people do not get what they deserve, do not get heard, do not have policy input, and otherwise have to live a life never getting the spotlight.

In the old days, these sorts could only influence a small circle. Now they run policy by intimidation tactics, the organizing of which can take place in real time.

This fascist approach to public dialog, with the media under direct control by government and their social media talking head influencers, is extremely dangerous. The public's IQ and EQ is not high enough to process this sort of onslaught with enough critical thinking to dispel the propaganda of a million crying, shrieking Karens.

The world was not ready for this kind of interaction, the public is too immature and ignorant of too many topics to protect their minds in real time.

Social media amplifies the disruptive signal of these busy-bodies, who gather massive followings that over-shadow the average person.

I can't fathom the fact that all the photos and videos show the shooter comfortable, taking his time to set up, in front of thousands of people, in a huge roof top without a single cover in broad daylight. This is beyond ridiculous in an era where security and patrolling is overwhelming with countless cameras, phones and drones.

This event is either blatantly staged or a huge and inconceivable failure of protection.

It seems extremely unlikely this was staged. First, there are numerous eye-witness reports of injury and causality. If it were staged not to harm to Trump, that's a dangerous risk to take and an unnecessarily high price to pay (and I don't even think the sharpest of sharp shooters could pull it off). Second, if it were staged--say with fake blood etc.--Trump and his team would have to be participants of the ruse, in which case it would be a false flag staged for Trump's gain/benefit. But if this were so, statist propaganda would pick up on this immediately and begin weaving a narrative of inconsistencies to suggest such a thing.

It is the second alternative. But it's not a failure of protection. That's the wrong word. The only "failure" of this protection detail, from the perspective of a breach in SS, is where the bullets ultimately landed.

Someone's posted video with priest talking to Trump before the rally mentions the possibility of staged killing , the priest should have been heard .

Intelligent people of today including priests go to alternative sites and forums where gov officials probably including the SS do not go .

It may seem odd to start a post about an assassination attempt on the current frontrunner to be America's next President by talking about a photo, but in this case, it's warranted. As Russell Brand and others noted, barring a heroic amount of ballot stuffing by the Democrats, that photo may be a deciding factor in the election.

This is mainly due to Trump's courageous (and, frankly, extremely media-savvy) reaction to nearly getting killed: to stand defiantly for a moment pumping his fist and encouraging his followers to fight on. It's a reaction so alien to the left that some of them thought it must have been staged.

Bomb-making materials were found inside the vehicle of the 20-year-old suspected of shooting former President Trump at his campaign rally in Butler, Pa. on Saturday, according to law enforcement sources.

Bomb-making materials were discovered at his home as well.

The suspect was identified early Sunday morning.

"The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, as the subject involved in the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump on July 13, in Butler, Pennsylvania," the agency said in a statement on Sunday. "This remains an active and ongoing investigation."

Matthew Crooks declined provide details about his son until he talk to law enforcement, according to CNN. His son reportedly used his gun to carry out the attack.

The energy today could have been so different - instead of feeling relief that the assassination attempt was unsuccessful (but angry and sad for the innocent man in the crowd who was killed and for anyone who was injured...)...........today could have been a VERY horrible day if Trump had been shot in the head and died... the Haters and those with full blown TDS would have been celebrating.... many people might not have cared either way - but many MILLIONS of people in America and the wider world would have been absolutely devastated and upset - I know I would have been ...

As it is - this is probably the WORST outcome for those who planned it all... I feel pretty sure the shooter was a patsy of some kind - and 'they' would have made sure he never got to tell his story...

Trump now looks more invincible than ever - saved by a miracle - saved by God - saved by a Higher Force - with just a very small physical injury - and giving the world an incredibly iconic picture of him bloodied but defiant - bravely signalling to his followers with the closed fist salute and urging them to fight on... bloodied but unbowed - just amazing ....he had no idea in the confusion if other bullets were coming his way -

now the same forces that tried to kill him and get rid of him will work to muddy the waters - downgrade the heinous crime and blame Trump himself for it... :/

Here’s a video of a second guy who also saw the shooter, went and told officers, then went to a different vantage point, could still see the dude, went back to officers to bring them to where they could also maybe see the shooter…and then the shots rang out.

So now the story we have is:

1 - *at least* two ordinary citizens saw the shooter guy crawling on the roof with a long gun and audibly alerted nearby LEOs and Secret Service but all the trained LEO and Secret Service folks somehow missed seeing the guy

2 - the shooter was spotted and reported by these citizens *at least two minutes before the shooting began*…plenty of time for alerted LEO to have at least radioed about a threat on that roof (even if they Keystone copped checking it out).

3 - at least two trained LEO snipers were glassing that exact roof in the time before the shooting began, but did not fire for some reason.

4 - only after shots were fired did return fire happen.

5 - for some reason that roof was not occupied by LEO or SS as would be SOP in any other circumstance. Further, no drones were in operation, apparently.

Well, that chain of events certainly stinks to high heaven.

Too many things run contrary to SOP for the SS. Not checking the rooftops, especially those very nearby in terms of long gun action. No drones or helicopters to have an eye in the sky. FAA only grounding flights over the area - AFTER the shooting occurred. Law Enforcement with eyes on the roof but not taking him out after the first shot - waiting for five shots total before destroying the evidence. Is it not evident that Kilary Klinton was threatened with legal action and two days later this happens? Everyone says Trump was tackled - but it sure looks like he ducked down - perhaps after the SS telling him to. Isn't it odd that they did not tackle him instead, as they have done with other Presidential shootings in the past. Everyone says they surrounded him almost immediately - after thinking about it for five shots. If that were true, why is the camera able to depict a straight photo of the surrounding SS - should not all sides be covered - even from camera views? Who would be gullible enough to believe that this could be staged - that Trump would allow someone to miss that closely - he has not very many people that he can trust - and certainly not those closest to him. That was proven in his first spell as President - when the man who was on TV as being a good picker of talent had all of those horrible people that he chose to serve near him - and who later turned out to be traitors.
It would be interesting to take a video image of the shooting and slow it waaaayyy down and see if facts match what we are told. Hopefully this will come from inside Trump's own camp, who surely taped every second of every speech - if only to disprove any supposed "gafs" that he did not in fact commit, since JoeB seems to be speaking dementia speak right now.
