We dont have this mind. A hive mind. There is no way for me to evaluate this. We can anthropomorphize the bees , make comparisons and ask questions like, why can't we all be like this? We should learn from the bee etc. But theres nothing to learn, only to witness.
Does a bee feel or think it is doing good? Being selfless? showing others, winning, losing, having self reflection like thinking what a good job I did?

i have no answers to this or anything for that matter. I might as well admire how bricks in a wall are all cooperating selflessly to keep the wall together.

The nde,s seem to all say we will feel this oneness when we cross over. So in the meantime, we will not feel but only glimpses,and faint memories of where we came from.
But in earth realm we will be trying to survive pretty much on our own

Like you, Doug, I shared my tears with the blessed action. I checked myself before I got lost in the beekeeper’s words. Cuz it'd take me out of the pure act of doing upon another that needed doing.

Love is here and is now. Love is the bee, the bees, the hive, the grasses, the flowers, the forest, the skies. Love is the action, the non-action, the interaction.

One day that innate impulse will turn itself inside out[ward] (or turn inward depending on perspective), so we can each experience for ourselves what we are made of through and through. No scrutiny, no investigation, no words. Simply Immaculate Being(ness).

Survival is a state of mind. I dropped the idea of survival-mode to live something that I don’t have a need to describe with words. Every day is the same and every day is different. I just have more time to do what comes up. Some moments are fleeting and some not so much. I’m slowly dissolving states of being that gunk up the works.
