Exposure of the content of Unit 731's live experiments is truly horrifying and inhumane! Twenty years ago, the movie "Black Sun: The Nanking Massacre" was released, depicting the atrocities of this demonic unit's "live experiments," which still send shivers down one's spine. In fact, in November 1981, the renowned Japanese author Seiichi Morimura published "The Devil's Gluttony" in Japan. He dedicated over a decade of his life, risking his own safety, to interview former members of Unit 731, even traveling to the United States to uncover classified documents from both the U.S. and Japan. He also went to China for on-site verification, exposing the horrifying truth of the Unit 731's bacteriological warfare and live human experiments, causing great shock in the international community.
Here are some of the abominable experiments conducted:
Human-Horse Blood Exchange: Strong individuals had most of their blood drained, causing full-body spasms that several military doctors couldn't control. Then, they injected horse blood and observed the reaction, resulting in the death of all human subjects due to rejection.
Human-Animal Hybridization: Women were forced to mate with horses to supposedly optimize the genetics of so-called inferior races.
731 Female Body Experiments: Unit 731, a branch of the Japanese Kwantung Army in Northeast China, used both women and men, even children, as subjects for experiments. Women were subjected to syphilis infection experiments, locked inside tanks and incinerated with flamethrowers to observe their physiological responses. They were also shot with rifles or pistols in lined-up formations to study the penetrating capabilities of firearms. Every experiment was incredibly cruel, as each subject was a living human being. Men, women, children, all were used, with females often chosen for gynecological and reproductive studies.
731 Maternal Love Experiment: In this experiment, mothers and infants were locked in a room and heated to nearly melting temperatures. The purpose was to observe whether the mother would pick up the child or step on it due to the heat. Additionally, there were gas experiments. A former Unit 731 soldier who personally participated in human experiments in China wrote in his memoir: "In a transparent glass room, a mother and her daughter, only about four years old, were locked in. At the moment when the poison gas seeped in, the little girl suddenly raised her head from her mother's arms, staring around with her big round eyes. The mother seemed to be desperately protecting her child, trying to shield her from the effects of the poison gas as much as possible. However, the potent gas quickly killed both mother and daughter. In the convulsions before death, the mother still held onto her child tightly, unwilling to let go."
These nauseatingly cruel methods are just the tip of the iceberg. There were even more horrifying practices like the feces punishment, coffin beds, nail shoes, and the invisible killing of the plague. For Japan, facing history and reflecting on wartime atrocities remains an unfinished task. Distorting and concealing history pale in the face of historical evidence. Those who committed these crimes against humanity will forever be recorded in the annals of history. Because the light preserved by truth never extinguishes!
