Volume 6 of the World Peace Mix series, this mix is a tribute to old-skool clubbing and the sexy House sound of early 1990’s at Sydney’s DCM nightclub (where I played resident for four years). It still follows the style of previous WPS mixes and is full of new releases, but if you were a clubber in the ’90’s you’ll recognise some remakes, cheeky samples and bootlegs thrown in. Mix runs for 72mins, which is approximately the time it takes to fly a twin engine amphibious prop aircraft from ROK to CNS on a clear morning with no headwinds. Just saying

It’s time to say goodbye to the World Peace Series. What better way to do it with a short mix recorded live on Oak Beach in Far North Queensland. On the full moon of a very warm tropical evening. A good way to close the series under the stars.

Our final days on the beach before returning to the inevitable Sydney lockdown were a sheer joy. Thanks also to my dear friend and lifelong partner, Mark for putting up with my late nights on the DJ decks up here!

I will, of course, keep mixing. But the World Peace Series must end here. Eight mixes is enough; and, as we all know, World Peace is now up to us coming together. Keeping together is the only way humanity will survive.

I think my best mixes were #2, 4, and 8.
