Just a random thought since posting here yesterday. Does anyone else feel that we don't hear as many contemporary ghost stories as we used to? If so, why is that; have people in general become more cynical about the supernatural? Has the miasma of electronic signals such as 5G interrupted or corrupted the ether so that sightings are fewer?

Maybe I'm not looking in the right places...

I see plenty of content on youtube. Here are four such channels I subscribe to that cover new or up-to-date stories of ghosts and other paranormal/unexplained phenomena.

Many thanks Mark, that's quite a lot to check out on my days off!

One or two rabbit holes there for sure. But it's hard to know what's real and what isn't these days. I've found good stuff on the above channels, but it isn't always the case on youtube. Certain content creators tend to over-sensationalise their material, fail to adequately source-check the provenance of that material, and, over-all, have low discernment IQs.

Approach with an open mind as always but, as they say, not so open your brain falls out. 😉

I've come across this YT channel recently that narrates stories about haunted WW2 RAF stations in the UK, this one is about RAF Fiskerton near Lincoln. The videos are based on the Ghost Stations books by Bruce Barrymore Halpenny, I have the first of the books and it is an interesting read.

It's a good creepy viewing to start off the weekend!
