NOTES ON THE CURRENT MARS/CHIRON OPPOSITION
    September 25, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/09/notes-o...on-opposition/

"Mars’s raw, assertive energy is diluted in Libra, a sign that seeks peace and balance. For many men, this mirrors societal expectations where aggression and control, once hallmarks of ‘true masculinity,’ are now being scrutinised. This dilemma is further exacerbated by the Libra SUN’s quincunx to SATURN in Pisces, resulting in a writhing inner turmoil, conflicting societal expectations, emotional vulnerability, vague career prospects, inherited paternal legacies of guilt and inadequacy, and strained father-son relationships, mirroring the intricate socio-cultural shifts highlighted in our world, both at the macro and micro levels.

The challenges of redefining masculinity in a rapidly shifting world become evident; finding a balance between asserting oneself and getting along with others becomes essential as the voices of the marginalised grow louder about the blatant and long-ignored inequities and imbalances…

Wounds Surrounding Identity and the Call for Greater Assertiveness
Chiron’s transit through Aries (2018-2026) spotlights the wounds tied to one’s individual sense of identity and the push for greater assertion. These become accentuated as the NORTH NODE approaches Chiron and Eris in this dynamic sign. Those predominantly operating on the feminine spectrum, ie. more prone to receptivity, intuition, nurturance, empathy, and the ability to connect deeply, are nudged to question their place in a world that often undervalues subtle energies. They grapple with how to amplify their voice without losing their essence. Faced with a world that prizes overt dominance, aggression and loud voices, they often feel out of place or unheard.

We all have a memory of such wounds, but those activated by the Aries/Libra dichotomy might confront societal biases that dismiss the value and power of subtlety and seeking connection. When bombarded by messages that equate assertiveness with value, they face a dilemma: to adapt and amplify their voice, risking a loss of authenticity, or to retain their natural mode of being, potentially at the expense of visibility and social influence. In the coming weeks, as the Libra SOLAR eclipse looms, we will see this rise into a swelling mass.

EQUINOX SPECIAL: “A Journey Through Libra” [Cosmic Bus #2338]

Libra month, ruled by Venus, is in her “Morning Star” facet. Her dark potency is not to be underestimated…

The Dilemma Between Assertiveness vs. Diplomacy
This is a frustrating period, where all outer planets are still functioning in retrograde (internalised) modes. Introspectively trudging through the turbulent currents of the Chiron in Aries opposite Mars in Libra transit, many of us, particularly those immersed in the feminine spectrum, are confronted by an intricate array of long-standing challenges. A battle rages internally, as we grapple with old wounds rooted in misperceptions of our assertive energies, wrestling with the spectral remnants of past dismissals, references, or humiliations by overpowering figures.

Chiron in Aries carries the shame of unbridled assertiveness that’s been met with rejection or condemnation. It’s the warrior wounded in battle, hesitant to draw his/her sword again. The scars are born in silence, reminders of times when boldness was necessary but overpowered by might or punished, when standing up for ourselves or being ‘first’ led to isolation rather than celebration. It evokes memories of challenges faced alone, the rawness of exposed vulnerability under threat of violence, and the intense discomfort of being unapologetically oneself.

Mars in Libra, with its quintessential quest for harmony, further magnifies this tension. The equilibrium needed between decisive action and delicate diplomacy becomes not just a choice, but a necessity. As society’s tectonic plates shift in response to evolving definitions of power and influence, the pressure mounts: how can one passionately champion a cause, articulate a boundary, or challenge any injustice, without forsaking the inherent pull towards balance, agreeableness, and peace? Does anger and violence now appease the wounds of past aggression and violence?

It’s going to take some sensitivity to navigate through Libra season. As we transition from the painful effects of the Mars/Chiron opposition, deep lessons crystallise. The tug-of-war between tender assertiveness and fierce diplomacy, between raising an authentic voice that resonates and is able to shift societal expectations, becomes a mirror reflection of the relative success (or abject failure) of our collective journey. These powerful celestial markers are not merely planetary alignments but profound teachings, pushing us all forward towards integration and healing.

The impending Aries Supermoon on September 29th accentuates this. It is more than just an astrological event—it’s a culmination; a make-or-break moment that invites us to experience firsthand the lessons of balance. Impulsive emotions will be heavily amplified, and the push-pull dynamics between the “you” and “not you” intensified. Like a shot across the bowers of our relationships, the Supermoon acts as a pre-eclipse warning, illuminating our internal landscapes, revealing where we’ve grown and where healing is still needed.

Beyond this, in mid-October, the looming South Node Solar Eclipse in Libra, opposite Chiron, reinforces this narrative. Eclipses, as cosmic reset buttons, often thrust us into the heart of unresolved matters. With the South Node involved, the emphasis is on release—letting go of outdated paradigms and making room for new understandings. Opposite Chiron, the wounds surrounding identity, assertiveness, and relationships take centre stage, asking us to confront our residual shame, our suppressed unresolved anger and deepest resentments and heal them.

This past week has been very confronting to these wounds. In a sense, it’s been guiding us through a transformative corridor. While the lessons posed by the opposition have been challenging, they’ve prepared us for what lies ahead: a time of release, healing, and rebirth. As we step into the energies of the Supermoon and the forthcoming eclipse, we must be willing to do so with open hearts and the wisdom of the lessons we’ve garnered. The cosmic calling is becoming louder than bombs, and it’s time to answer its call."

"The Aries Supermoon is a Cosmic Cauldron of Conflict and Catalysts, Fusing the Fire of Aries with the Strategy of Libra—Prepare for a Battleground of Will and Wits.

The last supermoon of 2023 is also the final lunation before this year’s second eclipse season. Falling in the early degrees of Aries, this Full Moon goes head-to-head not just with the guily Libra Sun but also with Pallas Athena, a goddess of wisdom, strategic war manoeuvring and fighting for social justice. That's a lot of social justice energy packed into one celestial event. The Aries Moon is all about initiating change and embodying raw, untamed spirit (fire). Going head-to-head with the diplomatic Libra Sun and the strategic Pallas Athena, this lunation sets us up for a political battleground.

Things are always coming to a head around the full moon anyway, intense conflicts escalate, seeking resolution or separation. Less than a week after the Equinox, this supermoon is a cosmic firework display of conflicting energies. Aries embodies the pioneering spirit, keen to forge ahead without much thought for subtlety. With the Libra Sun and Pallas Athena in the airy Libra, on the other hand, we witness the diplomats and strategists weighing each move carefully, scheming and preempting every action and reaction with authority.

Clearly, they underestimate the Aries Moon's volatile and spontaneous energy. This pre-eclipse lunation is a wild card in itself, making the atmosphere palpably unsettling…

    VENUS DOMINUS
Venus in Leo, freshly out of retrograde, is all about reclaiming its flamboyant energy in love and relationships. Paired in close conjunction with Juno, the goddess of marriage and commitment, the vibe is heavily tilted towards drama, loyalty, and grand romantic gestures. This can be an augury of stabilising relationships that weathered Venus' retrograde turmoil. Her rulership over the Libran Sun and Pallas Athena doesn’t end there, although their mutual reception (the Sun rules Leo) ensures that the two are in cahoots, with each supporting and influencing the other's domain. Along with Pallas Athena, the three are like cosmic co-conspirators, each amplifying the other's strengths, a tense semisquare creating a powerful triad that influences both personal and social realms.

When Venus is challenged or is overemphasised in the horoscope, a host of interpersonal and self-esteem issues can erupt. Stress spikes due to an insatiable need for validation, leading to dynamics where one becomes an emotional black hole, sucking in all the attention but giving little back. Feelings of being unloved or unappreciated can morph into emotional warfare, derailing relationships and causing rifts. The focus on oneself stunts the growth of genuine interaction, making relationships superficial and transactional.

Financial woes are another beast entirely; impractical tastes and unchecked desires can lead to spending beyond means, tipping the balance of stability. Finally, an obsessive focus on physical appearance could distort self-worth and drain mental energy. All in all, a challenged Venus under siege could make life an emotional and financial rollercoaster, as we shall see.

    HARD CRADLE
Venus in Leo exerts influence over Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, creating a charged atmosphere due to their fixed sign placements. The square between Venus and Uranus is particularly fraught, generating volatility in personal and social domains. While Venus seeks affection and grandeur, Uranus aims to upend the status quo. This tension not only makes for unpredictable relational dynamics but could also incite abrupt fluctuations in financial markets or social values. The stakes are high: unmet desires for love and validation can lead to seismic shifts across various life spheres.

The matter is made even more unnerving with Uranus forming a semisquare to the Aries Supermoon, a paradoxical situation where people fight for freedoms and rights they might be ill-equipped to handle if actually won. Such individuals often appear directionless, uncertain of their true desires. Under such a charged climate, it's advisable to steer clear of controversy. Emotional responses to sudden changes are typically suppressed by authority figures, adding another layer of complexity to an already volatile environment.

Given that the Aries Supermoon opposes the Libra Sun/Pallas Athena and is linked through two semisquares—one from Venus/Juno to the Sun/Pallas Athena and another from the Moon to Uranus—you have what's commonly termed a "Hard Cradle." This astrological formation is dynamic and pushes individuals to address intense conflicts and rigid tensions. It often produces stress or friction that culminates in an event or events serving as a catalyst for dynamic growth.

OTHER STRANGE NONSENSE AND DARK DRAMAS
Mercury in Virgo opposing Neptune in Pisces generates a perplexing fog over communication and information channels. While Mercury in Virgo seeks clarity and precision, Neptune in Pisces clouds the narrative with illusion and ambiguity. This opposition creates a dissonance that can feel like wading through a swamp of misinformation. What is factual and well-defined in Virgoan terms becomes nebulous and open to interpretation under the Piscean influence. Expect a wave of confusion where straightforward data morphs into a murky blend of facts and fiction. The challenge here is to discern reality from illusion, a task made particularly difficult as each planet undermines the other's clarity.

Venus also forms a sextile to Mars in Libra, over whom she also holds pull. Mars is pretty hopeless in Libra; his assertiveness is undoubtedly compromised by his inability to make a decisive move. It’s like seeing an injustice, an infraction, and knowing you have to do something… anything, but being so crippled by propriety, fearing the fallout from being on the wrong side of any outcome that you decidedly do nothing. Until they come for you, that is…

The most ominous aspect here is the cardinal T-Square involving Mars in Libra on the South Node, opposed by the unpredictable Chiron and the wild Eris on the Aries North Node, both forming a square with the darkly manipulative Pluto in Capricorn. The position of Mars is especially alarming; it sits precisely at the 21º Libra degree, where the Solar Eclipse will manifest in just two weeks. With the Sun equally as debilitated in Libra, it suggests that diplomacy and fence-sitting may not hold up against the raw, confrontational energies at play in Aries, nor darker forces seeking authoritarian control in Capricorn. This formation intensifies existing tensions, suggesting transformative, if not destructive, forces at play. At every level, something must happen, but what.. and by whom? You?? It's a celestial powder keg awaiting a spark, one that could detonate with the coming eclipse."

"A Universe in Major Flux: Under a South Node Eclipse, Libra's Scales Tip Violently Between Chaos and Authenticity—Brace for Revelations, Ruptures, and Radical Swingshifts

    Greeting Fellow Travellers,

While many sensed that the final Supermoon of 2023 in fiery Aries lit the fuse for a "Cosmic Powderkeg," the full extent of its impact was beyond our wildest conjectures—and still is. The malevolent energies of Pluto and Eris obscure much, revealing the depths of their darkness only in slithers and fragments, perhaps only further distorting the picture. Post-September 23 Equinox, we were all but guaranteed seismic shifts whose magnitude was unprecedented in our lifetimes. Indeed, the intricate geometry of the September 29 Supermoon's ‘Hard Cradle’ ignited societal paradoxes, propelling folks into "battles for freedoms that, ironically, they may be ill-equipped to handle." This celestial unrest was merely a prelude to the eclipse season. Further exacerbating tensions, Mars, then misaligned along the Libra South Node during the Aries Supermoon, has since triggered another horrific conflict among contentious neighbouring tribes. As we gear up for the year's second eclipse at 21°08' Libra, we stand at the precipice of a monumental universal reckoning. The Annular Solar Eclipse
An annular eclipse occurs when the apogee Moon, farther than usual from the Earth, passes in front of the Sun, leaving a ring-like "annulus" of fiery brilliance. This celestial spectacle, visible in the early daylight hours across a swath of the U.S. and Central America, is not your mere sky-gazing fodder. Occurring once every six months, eclipse implications are profound and wide-ranging. This South Node eclipse acts like a cosmic circuit breaker, shutting down energy outflows and issuing a celestial "stop order." Things must cease. To clear the way for evolutionary growth, we must cast aside practices and trends that have grown so heavy they’ve become soul-crushingly burdensome.

Libra isn't just about balance, peace and harmony; At the South Node, a Solar Eclipse is the harbinger of imbalance and breakdowns in negotiations, particularly after Mars's incendiary activation during the Aries Supermoon. Whether in our personal relationships or global foreign relations; be they in our social media feeds, over-the-fence encounters, or internal dialogues, it's time to quit the schmaltzy niceties and charades and get real. This celestial event, opposed by Chiron/Eris, T-squared by Pluto and quincunxed by Uranus, is a monumental glove-slap; a siren song for true authenticity, even if it procures conflict and strife.

Brace for disruption: legal quagmires, diplomatic failures, and collapsing alliances. Mars's activation of this eclipse degree has escalated this to explosive levels, heightening risks of conflict—international or otherwise. Not only do efforts for arbitration, legislation, and contracts face gridlock and collapse, but personal relationships will also bear the brunt—marriages strained, divorces expedited, and gender/race/religious/political disputes won't find resolution; in short, instead of pacifying, a Libra South Node eclipse will only intensify imbalances.

Opposition to Chiron and Eris at the North Node
The imminent fusion of the Chiron and Eris archetypes at the North Node end creates a paradoxical blend of a healer-disruptor. While Chiron empathises with wounds, teaches, and heals, Eris dislodges, destabilises, and provokes. Combined, these forces form a radical outsider, a “wounded upstart”—healing through disruption or disrupting to heal. This paradoxical energy is a brimming cauldron of long-standing activism, focused on subverting the status quo while offering paths to recovery, often through inflicting pain. It's not merely the frenzied act of obliterating what no longer works out of utter desperation; it's also about imparting a grave lesson through acts of grievous devastation. The aim is to reconstruct through total annihilation but from a vantage point steeped in the wisdom gleaned from hardship and exclusion.

In the context of the last Chiron/Eris conjunction in 1971-72, this was a period marked by a host of tensions and breakthroughs. The U.S. was deeply entangled in the Vietnam War, causing generational rifts and protests; civil rights and feminist movements were shaking the societal foundations. The Pentagon Papers were released, ripping off the bandage on government deceit; the Cold War continued to create international tension; the Watergate Scandal was about to break, leading to a crisis of confidence in American governance. Many things in the collective psyche became rattled, whilst individually, in medicine and healing, awareness and understanding of PTSD came to the fore.

The Chiron/Eris archetype carries the stigma of not only being wounded, but the indignity of being marginalised, pushed to the fringes, or relegated to societal "ghettos." It's an energy that speaks to both personal and collective pain—the bruises we bear and the stigma we endure. Socially, disenfranchised groups, driven by a sense of both woundedness and rage, seek to find their voice, claim their space and rights, refusing to be silenced. In a way, these events bear the hallmark of the Chiron-Eris energy: exposing painful truths and the ugly sides of governance, shaking us out of complacency, pushing marginalized issues to the forefront, and calling for reforms.

As their midpoint is activated by the opposition to this Libra solar eclipse, and with another conjunction on the horizon for 2025-26, we might expect an amplification of these themes but at a higher octave. Escalating tensions between the 'outcasts' and 'elites,' rising activism, uncomfortable disclosures of societal wounds, and a call for radical reforms become themes that can no longer be denied. And given the current state of the world, with social divisions and the global crisis, the upcoming activation could serve as a catalyst for ugly scenes that stir the collective consciousness into revolutionary changes in the way we heal societal wounds.

    T-Squaring Tensions
A South Node Libra eclipse calls for a cold, hard look at our collective social pitfalls—compelling us to scrutinise some of this Cardinal Air sign's most unsavoury traits that lurk within us all.

From paralysing indecisiveness and superficial snobberies to virtue signalling and performative alliances, the list of disingenuous tactics we need to lose in order to improve our world goes on. People-pleasing tendencies, trite niceties, passive-aggressiveness, co-dependencies, obnoxious vanities and the sort of emotional detachment that leaves others out in the cold—all are up for celestial review. It’s not enough that this eclipse riles up transgenerational wounds of Chiron/Eris, but T-Squaring Pluto, now direct in late-degree Capricorn, launches matters into an irrevocable series of troubles. Pluto—lord of the underworld—square to both the eclipse and the Chiron/Eris mix at the North Node, acts like the invisibly powerful cosmic puppeteer pulling at the seams of societal integrity.

Since 2008, Pluto's crawl through Capricorn has been systematically upending power structures, reaching a peak of subterfuge and control tactics post-2019. Its direct turn now acts like a demonic release valve, exacerbating existing fissures. This heavy-weight planet is not just revealing but relishing in the dark underbelly of systemic deceit. It amplifies the culture of silencing and censorship, the ostracism, the "shadow witchhuntery," turning each of us into hyper-vigilant agents of our own complicit oppression.

Amidst this climate, dissent is not just silenced but vilified, demonised, and systematically eradicated. Trust erodes, replaced by a cocktail of fear, self-censorship, and conformity. Pluto's square to the Nodal axis amplifies the agony, making collective healing a Sisyphean task.

This celestial standoff is not just a moment; it's a threshold. It's an invitation to stare down the systemic "daddy-trauma" and societal abuse enabled by Pluto's iron grip. The shadows are dark, and the scenes will be grotesque. But confronting this collective spell head-on is the only path to societal transformation—a journey toward a future where authenticity isn't just allowed but celebrated.

    But wait, there’s more…
While Pluto in Capricorn manipulates the collective shadow, throwing our societal skeletons out of the closet, Uranus in Taurus introduces a wildcard, a wrench in the machinery of both our material and relational worlds. This dissonant aspect creates a psychic discord—a restless itch that disrupts the status quo. Its quincunx to this eclipse rattles all social foundations, shattering long-standing beliefs about interpersonal values, economics, and relationship dynamics.

You could call this the celestial trifecta of existential dread. On one hand, Pluto, in late-degree Capricorn, triggers a dark night of the societal soul, revealing the rot of deeply-rooted systems of control. On the other, Uranus in Taurus rattles our individual and collective sense of security, shaking the earth beneath our feet. Nothing calls for financial independence, bodily autonomy, and land sovereignty like Uranus in Taurus. Its quincunx to the Libra South Node Eclipse serves as the revolutionary Molotov cocktail to the whole eclipse T-square.

In a most uncomfortable flash, during the darkest moment of this eclipse, Uranus exposes the pretence, the masks, the curated realities—all of Libra's less-than-ingratiating traits, causing them to writ large in the cosmic sky, disrupting any chances of sweeping any of Pandora’s ills under the rug again. The gig is up. This eclipse is ruthlessly peeling back the façade, revealing the ugliness that lurks behind the masks of social niceties and false alliances.

Beyond just a trifling momentary glitch in the cosmic matrix, this disruption to our consciousness precipitates a full-on systemic purge. No more hiding behind performative alliances or maintaining superficial airs and graces. In a world already teetering on the brink due to Pluto's dark manipulations and Uranus's erratic shifts, this Libra South Node Eclipse is the unwavering cosmic mirror forcing us to confront and discard our most unsavoury social tendencies. You can keep trying it on, but nothing yanks the curtains down on the performative dance we've been locked in like this South Node Libra eclipse.

In essence, the double curveball of an Eclipse/Uranus quincunx forces a celestial breaking point—an absolute need for both internal and external recalibration to our entire value system. Every cherished facet of our lives—from relationships and financial security to cultural liberties and intellectual freedoms—is under siege. If you are feeling pulled in conflicting directions—stretched to your limits but also compelled to break old moulds, then you are at least awake to the demands of radical authenticity. Falling back on negative Libra traits like indecisiveness or avoidance won't serve you now. This is seriously no time for fence-sitting or lazy, self-aggrandising game-playing. Sure, the road ahead may tempt you to take sides in polarising issues, but that's only a distraction, a cop-out.

The real challenge is to confront your own shadows and inconsistencies. Step into exploring the complexity; don't oversimplify it into false dichotomies. Taking sides can be a refuge for those unwilling to confront the messy, nuanced realities we all face. The best way forward? Engage deeply, boldly, sincerely, and hold your beliefs lightly (if at all). There are no “rights” or “wrongs”, “goods” and “bads” here - it’s all just a matter of perspective. This is what the Libra South Node wants us to learn and to let go of. Come back to centre and be ready to evolve as new truths emerge. Radical authenticity demands no less.

Of course, your individual journey is far more nuanced and the choices you make are far more complex than the above themes. "

“Material Desires Magnified”: The LUNAR ECLIPSE at 05°09′ TAURUS, Saturday, October 28, 2023, 20:25 UTC
    October 29, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW, Lunation article
    https://angstoic.com/2023/10/materia...2023-2025-utc/

"The Oct. 28, 2023, partial lunar eclipse, peaking at 20:14:03 UTC, marks a celestial crescendo in a 2-year series of transformative cosmic events. Visible across central and eastern Africa, most of Europe, and western and central Asia, and marking moonrise and moonset events from the Americas to the far reaches of eastern Asia and Australia, this eclipse is a pivotal moment for those in tune with the celestial rhythms. Whether you’re planning observations or rituals, the eclipse’s reach and impact underscore its significance in the current astrological landscape, especially as humanity navigates the profound shifts highlighted by the latest spate of Taurus and Scorpio eclipses.

    THE TAURUS/SCORPIO JOURNEY:
The recent sequence of Taurus and Scorpio eclipses has produced nothing short of an evolutionary odyssey, punctuating humanity’s attempt to transition into a post-Covid era marked by a reevaluation of core values, a shedding of destructive tendencies, and a quest for sustainable stability. The Scorpio South Node, arguably the most sinister emblem of the Moon’s Fall, often unleashed humanity’s darkest tendencies—our propensity for destruction, power struggles, and deep-seated karmic residues, acted out through our most toxic habits, addictions and struggles to manipulate and control. It’s like the universe giving us a mirror, reflecting not just our worst traits but also the subterranean complexities that even we are unaware of.

Since November 2021, we have seen no less than three Taurus and three Scorpio eclipses. Eclipses around the Pluto-ruled Scorpio South Node have forced out the most unsettling truths, like a Pandora’s box, unveiling the often mysterious intrigue hidden deep within the ancestry of our collective subconscious’ darkest secrets. Through Pluto’s corrosive processes, they precipitate wild, compulsive eruptions that are akin to spewing volcanic magma, revealing unresolved karmic complexes.

The Taurus North Node, where the Moon is exalted, offers an evolutionary leap toward stability and grounding, countering the chaotic fervour of Scorpio. As the nodes transitioned, so did we—from being embroiled in entanglements of our own making to realising the profound simplicity of what we actually need to survive and thrive. The Taurus eclipses are, hence, celestial markers indicating a collective shift towards values that are more earth-bound, sustainable, and attuned to the ‘here and now.’ The Taurus element holds a space, serving as a cosmic rehab, inviting us to rebuild authentic values from the ground up. Eclipses at this end have served as spiritual milestones in our sometimes torrid earth journey, from whence we can process the deeply conditioned cycles of abuse and manipulation, tame our inner demons and apply their intensity to reconstruct a newfound sense of peace and material security.

Moving from the intricate complex karmic web spun by the Scorpion intensity to the healing, grounding energy of Taurus, we make peace with what was as we make room for what could be.

AIDS & HINDRANCES: Aspects to this Lunation
The final Taurus eclipse sees the world at its most tense and horridly explosive. Against the Scorpio Sun, it is as if things between us are ready to blow, and we have no idea how to hold it together. We want change, but the resistant quality of fixed-sign opposition fortifies egos whose agenda is unwavering, prioritising self-preservation over collective evolution. Adding to this is the conjunction between Mercury and Mars, whose opposition to Jupiter amplifies the discord, driving conversations deeper into the realm of hidden motives and unsettling truths. This atmosphere of intense scrutiny, combined with Taurus’s inherent desire for stability, presents a challenging paradox. On the one hand, there’s an inexorable pull toward confrontation, conflict and revelation; on the other, a profound need for accustomed comforts, security and steady defiance to hold onto our position. Jupiter’s conjunction to the Moon only inflates emotional responses, magnifying deeply rooted sentiments and driving actions based on amplified instincts rather than rational deliberation.

Further complicating matters, Neptune’s semi-square to Jupiter and sesqui-square to the Mercury/Mars conjunction refracts the light of truth, skewing perceptions and clouding judgments. This diffusion of clarity sends ripples through the discourse, questioning our very grasp on reality. Additionally, Neptune’s opposition to Venus, the ruler of the eclipse, injects an unhealthy dose of idealism and delusion into the mix, making it even harder to discern genuine sentiments from deceptive allure. Following the Libra Solar Eclipse, there is much phoney ploy in our political manoeuvring as we teeter to stay on the decisive end of any argument. In such an environment, discerning truth becomes a Herculean task, with each revelation seeming more elusive than the last. It is perhaps important that we remember to check the source of our discontentment since this eclipse brings to the fore that, even in chaos, one must seek clarity, lest they be lost in the swirling mists of Neptune’s illusions.

    MESSAGES OF PEACE:
As the world teeters on the brink of total and unmitigated destruction, individuals grapple with heightened internal turmoil—a volatile mix of misguided hope and impossible despair. Amidst this chaos, this lunar eclipse functions like a cosmic flashpoint, forcing us to confront the source of our emotional maelstrom head-on and bring it to a stable place.

Taurus wants us to shift from mere survival to abundant living. Stop chasing what you think you’re cheated of; focus on what you genuinely need. If you’ve been stuck in cycles of self-destruction and haunted by your demons, Taurus’ earthly energy beckons you to find stability and peace.

This final Taurus eclipse is your cosmic seal of approval, pushing you to make peace with your dark side, settle in a state of contentment, far away from Scorpio’s seething volcanoes. It’s a transition from violent battlefields to a garden of peace. This two-year process has jostled you out of the pits of misery, urging you to enjoy the abundance of life without relapsing into past patterns of self-sabotage. It’s been a journey indeed. How have you fared?"

"Time to Settle the Score": The NEW MOON at 20°43' SCORPIO

"Scorpio is pissed. Who is he pissed with? And why? Is it a parent who neglected, abandoned him as a child, leaving a void of unmet emotional needs? Could it be crusty old Uncle Freddy, whose holiday stay left a dark, indelible mark on Scorpio's psychosexual development? Daily beatings from a schoolyard bully? Or was it Father O'Reilly, down in the rectory basement?

Or is his grinding fury still brooding over a romantic rejection from a teenage sweetheart, or a former partner whose infidelity not only broke his trust but also his heart? Such a devastating breach could explain the lingering haunt of violation fueling his rage. Equally plausible is some resentment towards a workplace bully, whose constant torment might have left scars that time hasn't healed.Scorpio's anger could also have broader, more systemic roots. He might be seething at an institution or corporation from which he was wronged so badly that it derailed his entire career path, or perhaps a financial establishment that ruthlessly stripped him of his life savings, a cruel exploitation of his good merit and earnest hard work. Moreover, his anger could be aimed at a government whose corrupt officials' actions led to war, uprooting him from his homeland and forcing him into the life of a refugee, subjected to a lifetime of displacement, demeaning servitude and racist abuse.

Moreover, Scorpio's seething wrath might transcend personal or even contemporary issues, delving deep into the chthonic realm of generational trauma. He might be grappling with the residual effects of ancestral tragedies, a curse of sorts that has plagued his lineage since the Dark Ages, leaving each generation to inherit the misery and destitution of the last.

Whatever it is, Scorpio ain't telling. He remains tight-lipped, a testament to the sombre nature of his fixed water sign. Within him, he harbours a corrosively residual pool of concentrated pain and trauma that resonates through every cell, much like water – ever retaining, ever reverberating emotions. This wellspring of bitterness, though often concealed beneath the surface, is nevertheless potent and ever-present.

This emotional reservoir is not static; it charges Scorpio with a relentless sense of unfinished business, a compulsion for resolution that cannot be ignored. It's as if each memory, each past slight or injustice, is a wave that bounces within the walls of his inner echo chamber, accumulating like a toxic sediment of anger and a thirst for retribution.

Thus, Scorpio carries within him an immense vitriol, a deep-seated need for vengeance. This is not mere anger; it is a crusade to right the perceived wrongs, to restore balance to the scales that have been so grievously tipped against him. This quest for retribution, or perhaps revenge, is not just a path he chooses; it's a path he feels compelled to walk, akin to a soul possessed, driven by the intense emotional turmoil that defines his very essence.

However, as we know, water is the most adaptable of elements, its residual memory moulded by the shape of the vessel containing it. For Scorpio, this analogy holds deep significance. His emotions, like water, are subject to being influenced and constrained by the circumstances and environments that have shaped his life. The traumas, betrayals, and injustices he has experienced have formed the vessel that now holds his emotional essence, shaping his reactions, perceptions, and ultimately, his actions.

This malleability of memories suggests that while Scorpio's emotions are intense and deep, they are also subject to change and evolution. The shape of his emotional responses and the nature of his memories are not fixed; they are influenced by his current experiences, perceptions, and personal growth. Just as water changes form to fit its container, Scorpio's emotions and memories can transform as he navigates through different phases of his life.

This fluidity also means that Scorpio's path towards healing or resolution is not linear. His journey of coping with and eventually overcoming the traumas and betrayals he has experienced is dynamic, constantly reshaped by new insights, relationships, and flashing realisations. His ability to adapt, to let his emotions flow and reshape, becomes a crucial aspect of his journey towards healing and finding peace. By recontextualising his past, understanding the deeper roots of his anger, and perhaps seeking closure, excoriating old layers of dead skin or exacting justice in a constructive manner, he can alter the shape of his emotional container, allowing for a new, more positive form of emotional memory to take hold.

In this light, Scorpio's journey is not just one of seeking vengeance for wrongs perceived but also one of personal transformation and healing, guided by the fluid, ever-changing nature of his emotions.

As the dark Moon draws to its synodic reset in Scorpio, it threatens to align with Mars, the ancient ruler of this enigmatic and intense sign. This New Moon conjunction will mark a period of profound emotional and psychological depth, stirring the primordial waters of survival instinct and deep-seated desires.

Far from a mere astral occurrence, this celestial confluence is the first lunation after the spectacular Eclipse period of October, which saw world tensions reach a most brutal crescendo. Here, the Scorpio New Moon stings us like a cosmic catalyst, igniting the subterranean fires of Scorpio's long-brewing rage and indignation. The multifaceted traumas Scorpio harbours – the familial betrayals, the sting of romantic treacheries, the systemic injustices that have marred his path, and the ancestral curses spurring his quest for survival and triumph – are now summoned to the fore by this alignment under this darkest of constellations.

    Against Uranus
The triple conjunction of the Sun, Moon, and Mars in Scorpio, opposing Uranus in Taurus, creates a powerful cosmic tension. This alignment triggers an eruption of past ills, long buried in the hidden depths of Scorpio's psyche, to rise to the surface for healing. Scorpio's intense, transformative energy, aggravated by Mars, pushes for deep emotional catharsis and the unearthing of hidden truths.

Uranus in Taurus introduces a contrasting dynamic, symbolising awakening and radical change, particularly in areas related to values, resources, property, land and economic stability. This fixed opposition creates friction between Scorpio's desire for deep, inner transformation and the disruptive, liberating forces of Uranus, an almighty clash between the urge to delve into the past and confront emotional traumas, and the need to break free from old fundamental and traditional patterns and start to adopt innovative new paradigms.

Beyond just a battle of wills between the old and new beckons a necessary but tumultuous upheaval for regrowth. The collective eruption of past traumas provides a chance for profound healing, while Uranus's awakening forces challenge us to reimagine our future, to build upon a foundation of truth and authentic transformation. This may not be easy. Sometimes it's better to remain pissed and not deal with the problem; keep it all bottled up inside. It's the devil you know, and it sure feels like ours to want to perpetuate. But the time has come, and something seems like it has to give. Tragically, fixed signs find it hard to bend. There is almost always a break, and under a Mars/Uranus lunation, this will happen suddenly. What is initiated upon this lunation will have devastating consequences if not met with brilliance and insight into our current condition.

In essence, this period marks a pivotal point in our collective and individual journeys. It's a time of intense emotional reckoning, yet also an opportunity for rebirth and renewal, as we navigate the delicate balance between confronting our deepest shadows and stepping boldly into a new, more enlightened existence.

    Trine to Neptune
Neptune's influence during this period acts as a soothing balm on the Scorpion's sores, tempering the intense and often turbulent emotions stirred up by the Scorpio New Moon and its conjunction with Mars. Neptune, known for its association with healing, spirituality, and compassion, provides a much-needed counterbalance to the raw, penetrating energy of Scorpio.

As Scorpio delves into the depths of emotional pain and trauma, Neptune's trine offers a gentle, healing presence. This aspect brings a sense of calm and understanding, allowing for a more compassionate approach to deep-seated wounds. Neptune's energy encourages forgiveness, both of self and others, and promotes a more empathetic understanding of the pain underlying Scorpio's rage and desire for retribution.

This soothing influence is particularly significant given the intense and sometimes destructive nature of Scorpio's emotions. Neptune's presence can help mitigate the risk of getting lost in these emotions, providing a guiding light towards healing and transcendence. It offers a reminder that amidst the turmoil, there is an opportunity for spiritual growth and the release of old patterns that no longer serve.

Neptune's trine also enhances intuition and psychic sensitivity, allowing for a deeper connection with the subconscious mind. This connection can reveal insights into the root causes of pain and anger, facilitating a more profound healing process. It encourages Scorpio to look beyond the surface, to understand the deeper spiritual lessons and growth opportunities presented by their challenges.

We all have Scorpio somewhere in our chart; somewhere where we carry the pain, either holding it in or projecting it outwardly upon others. Similarly, we also carry the potential for immense healing and regeneration. Hence, this period affects each of us in some area of our lives. "

ERIS CONJUNCT THE NORTH NODE AT 24°20′ ARIES [Nov. 27]
    November 22, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/11/eris-co...-aries-nov-27/

"Eris, the embodiment of the scorned feminine warrior archetype, is deeply embedded in our collective psyche as a force unafraid to intervene and blow the whistle on hidden truths, especially when marginalised or banished. Her energy is not just about provocation but also about exposing the underlying dynamics of power and exclusion; of dominance and neglect.

In mythology, Eris is notorious for instigating the Trojan War by exposing the vanity and competitiveness of the gods, a narrative that resonates with her current astrological influence. Her conjunction with the Aries North Node, exact on November 27th at 24°20′ Aries, signals a period where her disruptive yet truth-revealing fury aligns with summoning us all on our collective path towards destiny.

Aries, a sign notorious for its storming nature and audacious front, amplifies Eris’s urgent and immediate call for action. This conjunction, in the fiery, headstrong sign of the ram suggests a period of bold, unflinching changes, where individuals and societies are more inclined to confront and address long-standing issues of injustice and inequality. The assertive nature of Aries fuels Eris’s zeal to hurl fireballs at the status quo and shake up any ingrained complacency.

Mars’ opposition to this conjunction on October 6th served as a significant trigger. Mars, ruler of Aries, escalates the level of aggression and conflict potential to Eris’s already potent energy. The opposition set in motion a series of events or conflicts that will reach a climax or point of significant development around the time of the exact conjunction. It’s a dynamic that could manifest in personal experiences as a struggle for autonomy and recognition, and on a global scale as heightened political or social tensions.

Eris’ leverage, especially in conjunction with the North Node in Aries, might be seen in various global phenomena. From rising movements/campaigns for greater independence and unmitigated equity, and from the emboldening of marginalised voices to aggravated political upheavals where suppressed frustrations and rivalries come to the fore, her impact is far-reaching and could catalyse personal journeys where many have the courage to finally come to terms and shamelessly assert their true identity, especially for those who have felt sidelined or unheard.

The strife and discord of a scorned and triggered Eris, combined with the connective, karmic quality of the North Node, is a call for both collective and individual awakenings. This is a time when hidden truths, once revealed to all, lead to catabolic shakedowns in how we view power, demand equality, and assail our own indigenous rights in shaping the future of our landscape. Sure, this period might be marked by wars, difficulties, catastrophic turmoil, and societal upheavals, but it also holds the potential for groundbreaking shifts towards enacting greater authenticity and exacting transgenerational justice.

Of course, it’s most possible that the big catastrophe, or multiple catastrophes, are already unfolding, setting humanity on a trajectory of irreversible change. Part of our immense despair and furious reactivity comes from our unconscious anguish collectively feeding into this.

For instance, there are enough of us invested in the belief that a severe climate crisis looms large and that we have entered an era of unparalleled environmental woes, where extreme weather patterns, rising sea levels, and a string of devastating natural disasters are early signs that we are entering a new epoch of wild ecological instability. Whether this is man-made or helped by epochal cosmological patterns, we’re feeling it.

Alongside this, and following the dimly-handled CV19 (remember?), the threat of another global pandemic(s), one more virulent and deadly, is not out of the question. We know our systems are ill-equipped and our ‘experts’ incompetent to handle a real public health calamity.

And, i’m not forgetting to mention that alongside these perils is the grim possibility that ongoing wars between feuding neighbours could spawn international conflict, which very plausibly could escalate to thermonuclear levels, threatening unimaginable destruction and loss. Meanwhile, the unchecked march of AI and technology, especially the advancement of algorithmic, technologically enhanced AGI-like machine-learning bots, brings not only ethical and privacy concerns but also existential threats to human autonomy and livelihoods.

Also, the rate of biodiversity loss (species extinction) due to deforestation, strip-mining, overfishing, and general ecosystem destruction is alarming, potentially leading us to the point of no return and sabotaging the delicate balance of life on Earth. These ecological collapses to the food chain could result from various factors, including ocean acidification and the demise of crucial ecosystems, like corals. It’s very possible that economic and social collapse also looms, with global economies weakened by overinflation, corporate inequities and unsustainable practices, potentially leading to widespread societal and financial breakdown.

I could go on, and then one might wave their fist at me for being a doomsayer, but hey, like the fabled Cassandra, I’ve been saying all along, this was coming. Individually, you may be blessed with a tremendous sense of well-being, and that’s wonderful. But in context of the larger picture, there is something very unsettling with how the well-being of our world is being handled.

Our world is overrun by gargantuan monsters who threaten great geopolitical instability and hence resource scarcity, especially over freshwater and basic needs. Things could suddenly switch to survival mode, which could escalate into large-scale conflicts, affecting millions. The spectre of large-scale technological disasters, such as internet or global communication network outages, sinister data breaches, or uncontrolled AI developments, add a dimension of disruption not yet seen.

The scale of the current outer planet developments is impossible to fathom unless one takes a look at long-range, often invisible cycles. But something (everything) seems to be coming to a head. Acknowledging the gravity of our situation, we must also remember our resilience as a species, our capacity for innovation, and our innate desire for cooperation and peace will ultimately prevail. The path ahead may be fraught with challenges, but it is also rife with opportunities for adaptation, healing, and new growth."

SATURN IN PISCES: Spiritual Realignment from the 90s to Now
    November 23, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/11/saturn-...he-90s-to-now/

"Meanwhile, up here on Middle Earth, things ain’t so “normal”.

Saturn, ruler of the physical, more structured realms of consciousness, is now moving direct at the beginning of Pisces, ushering in a new chapter in our collective and individual experiences, which in itself is closing the book on the last 28-30 years of our conception of reality. It is a strange period which marks a lurid departure from the more rigid, scientific-focused orthodoxies of Capricorn and Aquarius (think back to the late 1980s, early 90’s, if you can), where hardnosed Saturn felt more at home than in the ethereal, boundless waters of Pisces (’93-96).

Yet Saturn is still Saturn, and as the gruff old timekeeper saunters through the quantum fields of Pisces, he demands a thorough restructuring of our spiritual beliefs, imaginative inspirations, and collective empathy.

Over the next two years, this transit will test our global solidity in all things intangible and mostly imperceptible, a concept that may seem paradoxical at first. Under Saturn’s influence, the abstract and often elusive qualities of Pisces are summoned into a more concrete form. Whilst this period calls for a rigorous approach to all things’ spiritual’ and ‘surreal’, it also urges us to crystallise our wildest dreams and start manifesting our most heightened ideals into tangible outcomes.

It is also a time when we assess our capacity to break on through into psychedelic understandings of what lies beyond the 3D plane, the realm of Jungian buddhafields of the enlightenment of subconscious and metaphysical realms (think Watts/McKenna). I know it’s hard to explain to those who haven’t yet journeyed to the back of beyond, but Saturn in Pisces challenges us to confront the shadows deep within our psyche, dance with the angels and demons of our alternate natures, and make contact and peace with those. It is about a time of deep psychological healing and growth, lessons which are about recognising and respecting the limits within our spiritual and emotional realms, even as we explore these boundless waters using whatever tangible means we can get our hands on.

Don’t worry, strange things, tools & artifices will become available to you to help you journey deeper into your psyche, if you’re so inclined. If not, you will become confounded and frustrated by it all, possibly to the point of utter exasperation and despair.

As in the early to mid 1990’s, when the pensively dour, often sombre themes inherent in grunge music reflected the introspective psychical experimentation of the ‘heroin chic’, exemplified by gaunt models like Kate Moss and artists like Kurt Cobain, who became emblematic in voicing the existential angst and disillusionment of an entire generation. It was a time when the polished, well-scripted veneer of the 1980s gave way to a more gritty, unfiltered expression of emotion, unashamedly delving into themes of alienation, an existential sense of loss and despair, and a desolate quest for meaning.

The early 90s also saw a resurgence of interest in psychedelics, not just as rec-drugs but as tools for exploring consciousness and spirituality. Alongside all this, the newly formed rave culture and its ritualistic techo beats gained momentum, with MDMA (Ecstasy) becoming a key psychotropic vehicle of this movement. Beyond just escapism; it represented a collective yearning for holistic, heart-centred connection, telepathic unity, and transcendence – experiences that are deeply Piscean in nature. Raves became spaces where conventional social structures dissolved, and a more fluid, inclusive, and empathetic mode of interaction emerged.

There was also a growing interest in holistic therapies and alternative medicines, including the use of natural psychedelics for healing purposes- integrating Saturn in Pisces’ conventional wisdom with modern understanding, a focus on healing not just the body, but also the mind and spirit.

Of course, all exterior props and agents of dissolution eventually wore off too, and when folks realised “the drugs don’t work” we were left to work it out for ourselves, but the crux is that it served its purpose and finally eroded away the last morsels of a previously conceived reality, making way for the seedlings of a new earth. That new earth is now itself coming full circle, about to dissipate away into the ethers as we lift the veil on a whole new level of consciousness.

As in previous incarnations (i.e. 1964-67), Saturn’s journey through Pisces always ushers in an artificial high, then leads to a sense of spiritual discontentment, an utter disillusionment of life’s harsh realities and limitations as we come crashing down to earth with our most preciously idealistic visions.

As Saturn holds a mutable T-Square over next Monday’s Gemini Full Moon, this can be a time of harsh spiritual testing, an existential reckoning where both the seemingly repetitive drivel of our daily media and our faith and beliefs are put under Saturn’s harsh, scrutinising gaze. The challenge will be making sense of all the senseless mind-nattering and maintaining hope and faith amidst the realisation of life’s inherent limitations. We might find ourselves grappling between everyday pragmatism and heightened idealism, seeing neither as satisfactory. This call for extreme unction grounds our otherworldly flights, spiritual fancies and abstract visions of ourselves into practical applications, either transmuting nebulous fantasies into structured plans or leaving us in a messy heap.

If you’ve been dreaming big but lacking the framework to materialise those dreams, Saturn’s T-square will either serve as a bridge between the material and the mystical, urging you to manifest your most surreal ideals by anchoring them into some semblance of reality, or leave you dumped ashore like a surfer who’s sadly misjudged the towering wave of opportunity. This Full Moon also marks a high tide of profound spiritual maturation, where your Piscean dreams are not only tempered by the discipline of Saturn, but if your thoughts and ideas (Gemini) and attitudes and beliefs (Sadge) aren’t cutting it, it can lead into an existential crisis, in some sense creating a potent alchemy that can lead to both personal and global shifts in fast-fading phoney baloney worldviews…"

~ From ERIS CONJUNCT THE NORTH NODE AT 24°20′ ARIES [Nov. 27]

In computer science, a “Trojan horse” refers to a type of malicious software that deceives users by masquerading as legitimate software. Like the ancient Greek story where soldiers hid inside a wooden horse to infiltrate Troy, a computer Trojan hides its true intent. Once inside a system, it can unleash unspeakable damage, such as stealing data, creating a backdoor for future access, or installing other harmful software that alters the original script. Unlike viruses or worms, Trojans don’t replicate themselves but rely on users to install them, often through a download or email attachment that appears harmless or enticing. This outward deception is the key characteristic that defines a Trojan horse in the digital realm.

In virology, a concept akin to a computer “Trojan horse” is a virus mechanism where the virus disguises itself to evade the host’s immune system. Just like computer Trojans it deceives users, this biological strategy involves the virus cloaking itself with certain proteins or using other means to avoid detection and destruction by the host’s immune defenses. This allows the virus to enter and infect host cells undetected or to remain latent within the host for an extended period. By using such deceptive tactics, viruses can effectively propagate within their host, leading to a successful infection and transmission. This strategy is a key aspect of how some viruses, ie. HIV or influenza, operate and persist within their hosts.

In politics, a “Trojan horse” refers to a strategy or tactic where an individual, group, policy, or piece of legislation is presented as benign or beneficial, but in reality, harbours a deeply hidden, often sinister, agenda. Also drawing from the ancient Greek tale, the concept symbolises some form of deception and subterfuge to achieve ends that might not be accepted if their true nature was openly disclosed.

For instance, a policy might be introduced under the guise of serving the “greater public interest”, but its hidden purpose could be to advance a specific group’s interests or to undermine a particular segment of society. Alternatively, a politician or political group might present themselves as aligned with a set of noble-seeming ideals or goals to gain support or entry into a system, but once inside, they pursue a different, often contrary agenda.

Such tactics rely on the inattention, naivety and trustingness of the greater public and on the element of surprise. It can be used to gain political power, change policies, or shift public opinion in ways that would be difficult or impossible if true intentions were transparent from the start.

In war and espionage, the “Trojan horse” concept is employed through strategies that hinge on masterful deception and tactical exploitation of trust. The strategic spread of misinformation plays a key role, where false intelligence is fed to the enemy to lead them astray. Covert agents or double agents serve as human Trojans, infiltrating enemy ranks while secretly gathering intelligence or sabotaging efforts from within.

In the realm of cyber warfare, digital Trojans in the form of malware masquerade as legitimate software to breach security systems for data theft or system disruption. Similarly, physical sabotage can be implemented by supplying the enemy with materials or equipment that appear functional but are intended to fail. Even vehicles or large containers can be used to smuggle personnel or equipment past enemy lines, reminiscent of the original wooden horse. Same with biological warfare-toxic agents masquerading as life-saving medicines. Lastly, psychological warfare employs tactics that seem beneficial to the enemy but are designed to manipulate decisions or morale, subtly cajoling outcomes in favour of the attacker. Each of these methods is sneaky in design and capitalises on the element of surprise by targeting vulnerabilities in the enemy’s perception or usual defence systems.

“Awakening to Uncertainty”: The FULL MOON at 04°51′ GEMINI, Monday, November 27, 2023, 09:16 UTC
    November 27, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW, Lunation articles
    https://angstoic.com/2023/11/awakeni...2023-0916-utc/

    art: Andrey Shatilov

"So, the celestial wheel cranks over into the higher gears, ushering in Sagittarius season, and we embark on the more expansive leg of our cosmic journey, a period initiated by the pursuit of truth and a greater understanding of our world and our place in it.

Sadge season, traditionally associated with the philosopher and the explorer, invites us to broaden our horizons and seek to know more. Yet, as we venture into this vast, untamed territory, an early Gemini Full Moon presents us with a complex counterpoint, almost immediately contrasting our speculative search for meaning with themes of facts, data, mundane communication, adaptability, and intellectual curiosity. This Full Moon, always a time of confronting awarenesses, is enriched by the interplay of multiple celestial bodies. This lunation paints a vivid picture of our current cosmic narrative, particularly as we navigate a world still reeling from recent global upheavals, spilling over into international conflicts and standing on the brink of a new year filled with shocks and uncertainties.

Sagittarius Season: An Odyssey of Expansion and Wisdom
As Sagittarius season unfolds, spearheaded by the archer’s arrow, it calls for an expansive exploration beyond the confines of the familiar, urging us to seek broader perspectives in various realms of life. This mutable/fire season ignites a collective restlessness, a burning desire to seek truth, justice, and wisdom, encouraging us to journey beyond our immediate surroundings to embrace a world rich with diverse narratives and insights.

The presence of Mars and Ceres in early Sagittarius during this season weaves a dynamic interplay of assertiveness and nurturing into our pursuit of growth and understanding. Mars, symbolizing action and the warrior spirit, drives us to explore new territories and express our beliefs with unbridled enthusiasm. This planet’s energy, especially alongside the Sun, encourages a fearless approach to challenges, urging us to chase our goals with vigour. However, Mars in Sagittarius may also lead to hasty actions or overzealousness, where the thrill of exploration and the urge to assert our truths could eclipse the need for caution and empathy.

Ceres, though a subtler influence, adds a nurturing dimension to our adventures, emphasizing the importance of care and sustenance amidst our quests. It reminds us to tend to the growth of our ideas and relationships with the same fervour we apply to their initiation, ensuring a harmonious balance between pursuit and preservation.

Gemini Full Moon: Illuminating the Details Within the Big Picture.
The Gemini Full Moon, occurring almost at the onset of Sadge season, heralds a critical, albeit premature, moment of reflection; the culmination of our ‘fact-gathering’; a juncture for synthesising our hypotheses about the state of our current reality. Ruled by Mercury, Gemini embodies the quintessence of communication and thought. However, Mercury’s current sojourn in the late degrees of Sagittarius presents a unique challenge. Not only in a sign where our messenger god finds itself somewhat out of its element, Mercury’s role as the courier of news becomes complex, dispelling rather than delivering clear-cut facts.

Thrust also into its retrograde shadow, Mercury’s function is further impaired by a critical square with Neptune and a sesqui-quadrate with Jupiter, its dispositor. This muddies the call for the Gemini Moon’s hopes to reflect matters with any degree of clarity or purpose. The square with Neptune introduces a mist of uncertainty, blurring lines of distinction and seeding potential misinterpretations, chaos and confusion in our interactions. Like trying to traverse a landscape riddled with ambiguities, pushing us to discern truth amidst illusion, Mercury’s strained sesqui-square with dispositor Jupiter only amplifies our misproclamations and faltering hypotheses, leading to overstatements or speculations where gaps in understanding exist.

Needless to say, the principles of faith and trust are somewhat distorted at this juncture, if not defrayed completely. Caution is advised.

Venus in Libra: also forms hard aspects with the opposing luminaries, and the goddess of peace and love is challenged by the emerging ‘facts and truths’ flying around here. Looking to love and be loved, always, there’s a sense of underappreciation here, a heightened sensitivity to criticism and a forlorn struggle for acknowledgement, potentially hampering social dynamics and stymying ambitions to get along. Her calls for a harmonious approach, emotional maturity and the importance of finding common ground in relationships, fall on deaf ears in a landscape where contributions may feel overlooked and efforts unrewarded. At best, it feels as if any efforts to make ‘nice’ are simply performative and lacking sense or authenticity.

Eris and the North Node: A Call for Revolutionary Change
As Venus approaches the South Node and opposes the Eris-North Node conjunction in Aries, a powerful dynamic emerges. This alignment signifies a climactic moment where the need for massive, far-sweeping changes, particularly in areas of justice and equality, becomes undeniable. Eris, representing the fierce feminine warrior, demands the acknowledgement of marginalised voices and the rectification of long-standing imbalances. This planetary setup reflects a collective urge to challenge the status quo, to bring about revolutionary change, and to redefine our path forward. Much has fallen away in the past few years that has made it difficult to reclaim…

Saturn in Pisces: The T-Square Bringing Discipline to Dreams
The T-square formed by Saturn in Pisces with the Gemini Moon and the Sagittarius Sun/Mars/Ceres conjunction adds profound frustration and energetic blocks, causing conceptual matters to ossify into a stalemate. Saturn, the taskmaster, in the mystical waters of Pisces, demands a grounding of our spiritual beliefs and imaginative aspirations. He sees through both the folly of inane words and soundbites and the quest for disingenuous theories and doomed hypotheses. Saturn challenges us to bring structure and discipline to our dreams and visions, his influence is a call to action, urging us to transform our ideals into tangible realities.

Global Context: Navigating a World in Disarray
In the global arena, the current astrological signature reflects a world engulfed in turmoil. The Gemini Full Moon, occurring during Sagittarius season, casts a spotlight on a planet grappling with geopolitical conflicts, economic instability, and a profound search for meaning post-Covid. The Eris-North Node conjunction in Aries implores societies to address ingrained and transgenerational issues head-on, while Saturn in Pisces suggests a path forward rooted in empathy and spiritual depth.

Yet, this celestial backdrop also portends a world deeply divided, a collective mired in uncertainty over where to place faith and upon whom. Trust issues are tearing us apart. From nations torn apart by ideological wars to individuals questioning the integrity of corporations, banks, and political entities, the world stands at an intersectional crossroads. These divisions are beyond circumstantial or geopolitical; they cut through the very fabric of personal belief, pitting principles against each other in a seemingly insurmountable standoff.

    A Call for Cohesion
As we traverse Sagittarius season under the Gemini Full Moon’s glow, we are called to a profound moment of introspection and amalgamation of seemingly disparate ends. This lunar phase incites a deep examination of how we communicate and connect in a world rife with conflict and division. What messages are we sending? How are they interpreted? The fiery spirit of Sagittarius compels us to seek greater truths and noble values, while Saturn in Pisces tempers any excesses with a sobering dose of reality, urging us to ground our spiritual and imaginative aspirations in the practical realm.

Illuminated by Gemini’s meticulous focus on presenting facts, this Full Moon melds our desires for expansion with a pursuit of understanding and empathy, for if we cannot see the truth, we may at least imagine a world without deception and distortions. The Full Moon’s interaction with cosmic forces summons us to elevate our consciousness. Here, we’re invited to confront the complexities of life, embracing them with wisdom and compassion. This period transcends mere observation, beckoning us to actively participate in forging a new narrative, one that honours both our collective humanity and our autonomous journeys into what is perhaps the most unknown tomorrow we have ever had to envisage. Amidst this era of stark division and uncertainty, the stars call us to come to this moment and begin to build a future that bridges our disparities, uniting us in our shared human odyssey."

"Whether your body, some body, or the greater body corporate, this Full Moon literally showed us where the system is run down, feeble and defrayed, and if you haven’t got it yet, the theme this entire year has been “stop bull****ting yourself, it’s nearly over, so quit dwelling on it and move along already”.

Nobody lied to you. Truth is, you didn’t know enough to call it, but now you do, and the time has come for all things flimsy, phoney and uncertain to keel over and… well, fall away into the sea. It’s necessary, and you need to face it.

When we look at the stars between this lunation and the next, we see that we are likely to run ourselves adrift over the next week or two, and once you see a sign of things sucking you in, these will start multiplying, and though our mistakes and indiscretions can be curbed by applying a little technique; a little discipline, no amount of wishful thinking and unwarranted optimism is going to prevent inevitable disappointments if we just keep letting the self-hypnotic little lies drag us out to sea…

We lie to ourselves. Others may hand us the dodgy script, but if we keep getting swept into it, it’s us who ends up like the fool.

It’s your money, your body, your story, your life… whatever- they didn’t take it from you- part of you just keeps letting them have it, bit by bit, and though it’s pitiful, there’s no sympathy for any fools who continue to play the victim card in 2023.

Besides, it’s nearly 2024, and you better pull yourself together.

It’s okay. You’re fast remembering there is more than just this limited three-dimensional space; that there are higher realms of consciousness, greater levels of intelligence, and infinitely bountiful quantum fields of experience awaiting, calling you to rise into and play.

Sure, you may feel a little boxed in, uncomfortable with the old body, wondering what happened to the old familiar world and all the ones you used to love. You might question the nature of time itself, why the clock seems to dither into a haze, and why the once-steady flow of time now feels like it’s collapsing into a single, infinite moment.

Bewilderingly, you are remembering who you are, your true purpose, understanding at last what this journey was always about. This restlessness you’re feeling is merely your transitional self, like the gooey muck inside the cocoon; you know you exist, but between worlds now, simply a Being filled with consciousness, about to emerge into a whole new conceptualisation of your former, divided, limited, compartmentalised Self.

    It’s wonderful.

The air around you is positively buzzing with excitement, charged with the promise of a new beginning.

    It’s wonderful.

Old boundaries are dissolving, revealing a universe of endless possibilities, each more vast and intimate than you ever imagined.

It’s wonderful, this release; this letting go…

As you shed the heaviness and darkness that once weighed you down, you feel lighter, poised to ascend into a realm of higher understanding and unity.

Release the baggage, rise out of the old constraints and into the brilliance of your new existence ♐️ "

The Space Between”: VENUS SOUTH NODE, ERIS NORTH NODE

    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/12/the-spa...is-north-node/

    [art: Fabian Perez]

"Venus at the South Node, a haunting residue of old ties whose codependent attachment styles and facile little arrangements led us only to limp, gormless, machine-like expressions, both in love and life. We did not live together; we merely co-existed. This wasn’t living. We had become the algorithm.

Across the universe, Eris at the North Node, ignites the skies with her emerald fire, hurling missiles of truthful disruptiveness, provoking us to look at the toxicity of ‘acting nice’ to just get along when we don’t really mean it, and to dare to break free from the schmaltz and phoney politics of our performative alliances and safe spaces, to usher in the raw, uncharted future that awaits us all.

In the space between, the battlefield of love rages. It seeks to fully enlist our hearts to battle, and we must choose to go with this if we wish to preserve our passions, our innate truth, our most primal sense of humanity.

Tragically, with Pluto involved, this will be a dance to the death; a spiralling tarantella that leads to the holocaustic annihilation of all that serves no purpose in the ultimate evolutionary process here, on middle earth."

"Then there’s Pluto, the universally corrosive stripper, tearing shreds off our ego until all that’s left is its core essence. Pluto’s interest lies solely in possessing souls; everything else is inconsequential. He likes to regenerate them through the ages to execute his trans-bidding. Weaker mortals are easily ensnared here, particularly if they succumb to his overarching designs. To this end, old dark face will employ any tactic necessary to extract your core essence from any self-serving sheath that encases it. Indeed, Pluto will charm, manipulate, blackmail, and coerce you to sign your life away, and if you resist his taunts and temptations, he’ll claim to take it eventually, one way or another.

Few have the fortitude to resist Pluto’s coercive influence while maintaining their pristine integrity and creative power.

Now, as Pluto navigates the final stages of Capricorn, a domain obsessed with social status, material wealth, and influence within hierarchical structures, the ego-excoriating process nears its culmination. His T-SQUARE to VENUS at the LIBRA SOUTH NODE and ERIS at the ARIES NORTH NODE generates a formidable tension, challenging us to negotiate extremely tenuous social dynamics without depending on vacuous superficial niceties or flagrantly reckless acts of defiance. This pressure builds to the brink of total collapse, a necessary precursor for the emergence of something new.

The impending social upheaval is palpable as this crucial leg of the human evolutionary process enters its final phase. Your stake in this race is determined by how much clout you’ve amassed by selling out your soul, for in this case — as the saying goes, 'The higher they come, the harder they fall.'

“Unmasking the Façade”: PLUTO SQUARE VENUS
December 4, 2023 ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/12/unmaski...-square-venus/

    "See what happens?

See what happens when we put on a phoney act in order to ingratiate ourselves with others or to make lazy, performative gains? What a disastrous mess!

PLUTO SQUARE VENUS shows us any of that grit under our nails, his x-ray vision into our smarmy sociopolitical motives and snidely coercive efforts to become ‘influential’ smacks us with a brutal reality check. Doesn’t take much for the mask to be ripped off, revealing all the dirt we thought we’d hidden so well. And when it surfaces, it stinks up fast.

Funny how these transits have a knack for throwing us into the mud pit with those who most despise our little social games. And the irony here is that we’re inexplicably drawn to them. We attract those who are most likely to tear us to shreds. Pluto can’t stand that surface-level ****e; he rips deep into the core, unearthing our hidden agendas, our superficial motives. He’s relentless, confronting us with the ugly truth, bringing hypocrites down from their lofty perches, especially if we’ve been playing the sanctimoniously woke-minded justice card.

Of course, we all play our cards – it’s been culturally ingrained in our subconscious via all the programming – we “play nice”, hoping to charm our way through; climb the ladder of social significance, but Pluto sees through it all. He scowls at our feebly egotistical ploys to manipulate and control, showing us just how futile our tactics are against his almighty corrosive agency. Of course, the fallout is inevitable: public exposure, relationships strained to breaking point, loss of friends, complete reputational meltdowns…

The message is clear: Drop the façade. Stop playing games. Things are about to get gravely serious now. It’s time to face the undergird of our more shadowy selves and, love or hate it, become raw, unfiltered, and undeniably real.

This transit is particularly harsh on our hypocrisy, especially if we’ve been trying hard to maintain a favourable but unsustainable social image. And when we come across someone who sees through our façade, someone who might feel angered or exploited by our pretences, we face a tough reality check. Our attempts to shut them out or seek revenge might only leave us feeling hollow deep inside. Pluto teaches us that engaging in base-level conflicts or ruthless and mean power struggles ultimately results in catastrophic disrepair, not to mention a rotten feeling deep within that’s hard to shake because we leave no room for closure.

Yet, there’s a healing aspect to this transit. Forgiveness and a willingness to come to the table and compromise, honestly, and humility of character can bring cathartic relief. This is a time to ferret out the dark secrets, not just within ourselves, but in those around us who are troubled. Helping others, aiding them in their journey of self-discovery and healing, aligns with the transformative power of Pluto. This transit challenges us to contribute towards the epochal societal evolution to uphold human dignity.

So, if you find yourself unable to tolerate shallow interactions or those who show no interest in addressing human suffering, this Pluto square Venus transit might be prompting you to get off the fence and do something. The universally applied call to deepen our relationships, be more authentic and true, engage in efforts that truly make a difference is reaching a critical mass. It might be rough, but it’s all about finding balance between personal advancement and recognition of personal influence, and forming genuine, heartfelt connections between power and genuine compassion.

This collectively tense period is coming to an end, and it’s almost certain that the circumstances since it all began in mid-July[see graphic] have created opportunities for incredibly seismic shifts."

    Indomitable Spirit of the Agitator
    MERCURY/ERIS CONJUNCTION at 24º ARIES
March 26, 2024 ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2024/03/mercury...-at-24o-aries/

(The world certainly could use more truth-speaking agitators right about now...the signs seem hopeful the time is right.)

"The MERCURY/ERIS conjunction at 24º Aries symbolises the indomitable spirit of the agitator, a pioneering figure whose voice, once suppressed, resurfaces with an interminable fervour. It brings to mind legends of historical dissenters, vociferous figures who upended the status quo with their minds, embodying the quintessential rabble-rouser—those who dared to confront and provoke the established order of their time and spouted the most seeringly inconvenient truths.

This conjunction in Aries, a sign known for its audacious spirit and unflinching courage, suggests the inception of intellectual provocation and the incitement of discord in pursuit of a greater truth or ideal. Mercury, the planet of communication, combined with Eris, the goddess of strife and resentment, in this fiery sign could indicate a period where words become the catalyst for significant change, challenging us to think differently or confront uncomfortable facts.

Due to Mercury’s retrograde on April 1st, this will play out as a triple conjunction, which, along the North Node and involving Chiron, becomes a dominant theme throughout April/May.

There are several significant turning points in the weeks ahead, considering all other critical transits, reinforcing the epochal Total Solar eclipse in Aries.

Drawing a parallel with apocryphal tales of other outspoken activists throughout our times, many of them undocumented, we’re reminded of the power of individuals who, through their outspoken words and audacious actions, have acted to instigate monumental shifts in society. Such figures, often controversial in their times, may be vindicated by history as visionaries or revolutionaries.

Take this astrological moment to reflect on the role of the provocateur in our lives and in society at large. Are there voices we’re dismissing, trying to outright quash, banish, or even condemn because they challenge our comfort zones in trying to tell us something? Could these voices, however disagreeable, be the harbingers of change we desperately need?

It’s perhaps a good time to acknowledge the potential for change that comes from questioning and shaking up the established order. Let’s consider the role played by those radical disruptors, whose records, though shrouded in myth and legend, remind us of the revolutionary power of speaking truth to power, no matter the cost.

It’s all happening here, with Mercury (back and forth) tightly binding the North Node activities, really pushing the message forward, rousing spirits and voices who, though many would call a nuisance, have a way of getting under the skin enough to wage the necessary battles…"

"We’re in for a trove of planetary conjunctions this month, and the VENUS/NEPTUNE (next 12 hours) dreams a little dream of ideal love, where fantasies can cloud judgment, leading to some way out fanciful notions and utterly naive choices. Careful what you wish for, specially round these eclipses, for life—unforgiving as it is—ain’t gonna coddle any poor deluded fool’s misplaced optimism.

On the flipside, this transit also holds the power to melt the hardened hearts of even the most stoic of cynics converting them into maybe believers. With enough faith and forgiveness Neptune can, after all, make the ultimate fantasy come to life. Falling in love under this aspect can feel especially fated and magical, overlooking all faults and turning even the most jaded individuals into ardent disciples of love’s transcendent splendour.

Take it easy bae. Take it as it comes…"

“Questioning Everything”: The NEW MOON at 16°18′ Gemini, Thursday, June 6, 2024, 12:39 UTC
    June 6, 2024
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2024/06/questio...2024-1239-utc/

"The Gemini New Moon this month resets at 16°♊18′, hot on the heels of Jupiter’s ingress into this breezy sign. This lunation, supplemented by a flurry of Gemini transits including its conjunction with Venus and a conjunction between Mercury and Jupiter, infuses a distinctive air sign coolness that’s neither guileful and scheming to restore balance like cardinal Libra nor impossibly detached like fixed Aquarius. Instead, Gemini’s mutable quality helps us rapidly assimilate cues from our environment to make quick, astute observations. Such versatility is crucial as we adapt our thoughts rapidly to align our intentions with the dynamic currents at play. Being tuned in is most important under these stars, however, it is the challenging square from Saturn in Pisces that may impose dour limitations, testing the resilience of our most eloquent intentions by injecting a dose of stark existential realism.

When the New Moon graces Gemini, it’s a time rife with dynamic mental energy and intellectual stimulation that, depending on your own sign, could work in your favour or fry your cognitive circuitry. Gemini’s governing of all communication processes prompts us to improve our diagnostic and dialogic skills and adopt diverse perspectives, ensuring we articulate our thoughts with clarity and confidence.

Under this lunation, invigorated greatly by the preponderance of mental activity in Gemini—Mercury conjunct Jupiter and Venus in the heart of this Sun/Moon confluence—the impetus to acquire knowledge by engaging with sources of information, media, or refining our social interactions is one thing. However, with such a concentration of intellectual energy, blocked or hindered by Saturn, there’s a risk of mental overdrive which can spiral into anxiety. There’s no point in holding knowledge or having ideas we do not know what to do with or are unable to relate to. It’s crucial, therefore, that we not only pursue these stimulating exchanges and ideas diligently, test their veracity and relevance, but also seek to form thought patterns that help maintains our tranquillity, especially during times of great societal decline. The challenge is to effectively communicate our most profound thoughts and ideas without succumbing to the mental exhaustion or despair that this overstimulation, particularly of negative data, can bring.

Saturn in Pisces: A Heavy Influence
Saturn, now midway through its transit in Pisces, embodies the heavier side of this configuration. Its square to the lively Gemini complex represents a clash between the fluid mobility of air and the unfathomable depth of water, potentially dampening the spirited Gemini energy with feelings of disconnect or melancholia. This Saturnian influence stresses the importance of setting personal boundaries to avoid being overwhelmed by external sorrows and worry, instead focusing on contributing positively to the collective. There may be a need to switch off or retract from the deluge of data streaming into our mindscapes. By recognising our limits, we can more effectively channel the mutable energy of Gemini, integrating flexibility with a mindful awareness of our emotional and spiritual confines.

Saturn in Pisces is particularly significant during these years (2023-26) as it draws deeply from the collective unconscious, often highlighting society’s shared fears and vulnerabilities. Pisces, the erosive final stage of the zodiac, a sign of emotional depth and spiritual sensitivity, combined with Saturn’s influence, brings a heightened awareness of the world’s suffering and hopelessness. The palpability Saturn brings to this transit can lead to a form of existential detachment or nihilistic resignation, where individuals feel profoundly disillusioned with societal norms and structures. Indeed, the weight of collective sorrow can be overwhelming, forcing a withdrawal from external realities into a more introspective, spiritual space. The key challenge here is to develop inner boundaries, distinguishing personal pain from the collective’s; by knowing when to unplug, we can prevent a complete emotional overload.

This aspect of Saturn in Pisces is further complicated by a tendency towards self-proclaimed martyrdom—where we might feel burdened by the world’s problems yet falter in addressing our own. Often, there seems to be some cause or individual in distress, beckoning our sympathy. The remedy involves cultivating a robust sense of self-definition, discerning whether external issues truly merit our emotional investment, and acknowledging that while we are part of a larger whole, our individual concerns and boundaries are equally vital. By setting these boundaries and focusing on the problems genuinely ours to solve, we can harness Gemini’s mutable energy more effectively. This disciplined adaptability ensures we support our own emotional well-being without becoming overwhelmed by external woes.

Jupiter’s Influence and the Impending Clash with Saturn
Jupiter’s recent entry into Gemini for a year-long stay forecasts a societal pivot towards valuing vast, albeit surface-level, information. While this transit boosts intellectual curiosity and communication, it also risks promoting intellectual elitism and the spread of misinformation, as people strive to appear more knowledgeable than they truly are. In Gemini, a sign known for its precise and analytical nature, Jupiter’s tendency to generalize can lead us to spread ourselves too thinly across a wide array of interests, at the expense of depth and genuine understanding. This could dilute the quality of discourse and diminish our ability to grasp deeper meanings.

If we’re going to utilise this energy effectively, it’s crucial to blend theoretical knowledge with practical application, aiming for a more integrated understanding of information. The conjunction of Jupiter with Mercury, the ruler of this lunation, underscores this focus on overintellectualising principles or laws, emphasising just how cerebral our approach is to handling the spirit of what’s really going on during this period. Pay close attention to the use of words and catchphrases during this time—they often seem designed to make a point, yet upon closer examination, their true depth and resonant heart-meaning may elude us. This is a time that calls for a more discerning engagement with information to ensure we’re not merely skimming the surface, or employing mind-trickery and catchy soundbites to justify our misguided actions.

The square from Saturn to the New Moon foreshadows the greater themes of the year ahead. As Jupiter and Saturn prepare to form a square in August and December 2024 (and again in 2025 in cardinal signs), we can anticipate a significant ideological clash. This tension manifests as a tug-of-war between growth and regulation, with Jupiter in Gemini advocating for a media-spun, all-inclusive, short-answer narrative, while Saturn in Pisces pushes for deeper soul introspection and emotional depth. This dynamic challenges us to balance our thirst for knowledge and hunger for answers to existential problems with the need for emotional authenticity, potentially leading to a critical examination of what truly informs our beliefs and decisions.

The upcoming squares between Jupiter and Saturn will likely amplify the tension between seeking comprehensive, yet often superficial, answers and the need for deeper, more meaningful insights. This clash could be the trigger behind seismic societal shifts, where the drive for rapid technological and informational growth conflicts with the necessity for emotional and spiritual grounding. As these two titans collide, many might find themselves dipping into despair and nihilistic anguish, feeling overwhelmed by the superficiality of quick-fix solutions and the absence of genuine emotional connection. This period forces us to reevaluate our priorities, ensuring that our intellectual pursuits are imbued with emotional and spiritual substance, ultimately fostering a more holistic approach to life.

End of Empires: Navigating Societal Decay
In the background, we see the changing of the guard among greater cosmic forces. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, the extraterrestrials, are nearing the end of their respective runs in their current tropical signs. Particularly, Pluto is concluding its 16-year journey in Capricorn, its recent return to the radix position of the USA chart marking the end of an era. Those alive today are witnessing the final throes of a massive paradigm shift—an empire in the late stages of collapse. Look around—this is how it all ends. Decay has infiltrated every institution, seeping into every crevice of our existence. Hopelessly longing for a return to former glory or praying for a miraculous saviour is futile; corruption is now rampant and blatant. As societies rise, flourish, and eventually peak, the foundations of their structures deteriorate, leading to inevitable collapse. Expecting a revival is naive. Instead, we must learn to befriend the darkness, make peace with the impending change, and strive to find the light within the chaos.

In a world where corruption is the norm, survival means attuning ourselves to Pluto’s sinister undercurrents. Seeing in the dark becomes essential—we have all the power tools to help us understand the motives of those who thrive in shadows. Networking with others is important, but we must be cautious. There are so many zombies around us, still buzzing away to the tune of the old Methuselah. Power, real power, lies in being able to navigate the insidious devices of deception, manipulation, and coercive influence. It behooves us to identify those who wield it, and if necessary, adopt and adapt their methods to hasten the collapse of the old order.

The rise of populist figures, with their desperate calls to “make things great again,” is no accident but a symptom of a decaying system. The core agenda of this system is long-rotten, clinging to hope through wishful thinking and impractical solutions. These emerging radicals now pose a serious threat to the established power structures, once upheld by old political parties that were seen as champions of democracy and potential saviours of humanity. It is a struggle between the conservation and destruction of these systems, and the outcome remains uncertain. Both sides are now complicit in a quest for absolute power, serving corporate interests while ignoring the suffering of the masses through kleptocracy and warmongering. They would rather watch the system implode than relinquish their privilege. These pernicious power mongers, deeply entrenched in the machinery of an archaic system, exploit AI technology and groupthink to accelerate our descent into corporate technocratic totalitarianism, all while showing utter disdain for democratic norms.

Retrograde Pluto’s sesquisquare to the Gemini lunation is telling here: The press, once a check on power, now serves as a mouthpiece for the affluent elite. The more manipulation of democratic systems against the people, the closer financial collapse looms, bringing social unrest in its wake. leading into the second half of this year, as sociopolitical and economic institutions crumble, building parallel structures becomes imperative to protect and empower communities. As we trudge heavily through these turbulent times, remember that the cosmos is here to offer guidance. Despite harsh, exhausting limitations, the looming Gemini New Moon presents an opportunity to recognise the signs of impending collapse and prepare accordingly. It’s a bleak reality, but one we must confront head-on for the sake of renewal and a return to self-empowerment. Let go of attachments, forge new connections, and assume a shift in gears to chart a new path forward.

Individual Mindset Impact: Existential Detachment and Nihilistic Resignation
Gemini affects the mind and our overall mindset. In the face of societal decay and corruption, some individuals are inclined to overthink things, or get stuck in negative thought patterns and depressing loops. We might witness many people strangely reaching a state of existential detachment or nihilistic resignation. This psychological phase arises from a profound disillusionment with societal norms and structures, feeling left out, angry and bereft about feeling powerless. As Mars activates the looming Chiron/Eris conjunction, this triggers a disengagement from traditional motivational drives such as fear of consequences or desire for approval.

At its core, existential detachment stems from a deep-seated recognition of the perceived absurdity inherent in societal games and constructs. It may feel like entering or continuing the Monopoly® game after one player has succeeded in acquiring all the properties on the gameboard. Individuals in this state refuse to participate further in what they perceive as a meaningless charade. They see through the facades of power and authority, recognising them as arbitrary and devoid of inherent meaning.

This disillusionment can lead to a sense of detachment from personal goals, societal expectations, and even interpersonal relationships. The individual may question the validity of societal norms and values, viewing them as arbitrary constructs imposed by those in power. Despite encouragement from the winning party to “keep playing—it’s fun!”, this questioning often leads to a profound sense of alienation from the game, or mainstream society.

In this state of mind, individuals may adopt a more philosophical perspective, embracing existentialist ideas that emphasise personal freedom and responsibility in the face of an indifferent universe. They may find solace in the recognition that meaning is subjective and that they have the power to create their own sense of purpose.

However, existential detachment can also lead to feelings of isolation, despair, and apathy. Without a sense of connection to others or a shared purpose, individuals may struggle to find meaning in their lives. They may become resigned to the belief that their actions are ultimately futile in the face of larger societal forces. This sentiment accrues into a critical mass, creating intense societal disruptions. The first of these catabolic eruptions will be evidently widespread around the lunations of August 2024 (more on these later).

For now, we must learn to tread lightly. Observe carefully how your interactions, both in dialogue and thought, are reshaping. Despite its challenges, existential detachment can also be a catalyst for personal growth and recalibration of how we think. By questioning the status quo and rejecting societal norms that clearly no longer serve us, we are able to untether ourselves from mind restrictions and embark on a journey of self-discovery and authenticity. The more we let go of these false fears, the more we find liberation in embracing our true selves and living in alignment with our values, rather than conforming to external expectations, playing along in a game that has not only lost our interest, but promises no future joy.

It’s tough to wrap our head around, but ultimately, this sense of existential detachment is a complex and nuanced state of mind that reflects our individual struggle to find meaning and purpose in a world that often seems chaotic and absurd. From the individual awakening under this lunation into the collective of August and beyond, his nihilistic resignation is both a coping mechanism for navigating societal decay and a philosophical exploration of the nature of existence itself.

Certain Change and Adapting to What’s Coming
This Gemini New Moon invites us to set intentions that accommodate Gemini’s mutable dexterity among the deeper currents influenced by Saturn and Pluto. By balancing our intellectual pursuits with emotional depth and practical application, we can navigate this lunation effectively, using the power of communication to transform and enlighten rather than merely fill our heads with vapid, meaningless information.

In these turbulent times, the Gemini New Moon offers a beacon of hope. It invites us to see beyond the façades of spin and promises, the sponsored content, and the undeniable smokescreens cast by power-hungry opportunists. This is a moment to release outdated attachments, forge new connections, and embrace the necessary changes to forge a brighter future. "

“Shelter from the Storm: A Full Reality Check”: The FULL MOON at 01°07′ Capricorn

(I've been feeling the way this update describes, but for a very long time now Maybe it's just all coming to a head at last...)

    Greetings Fellow Travellers,

It’s Solstice time, and with the Sun entering Cancer, it’s the season to hunker down. All around the world, you can practically hear the collective sigh of relief as everyone retreats into their shells, seeking refuge from the chaos. It is a strange time—Neptune’s station at the final degrees of Pisces means a series of squares from Venus, Mercury, and now the Sun, creating a period where dissonance and incredulity are at an all-time high. Sensitivity to unbearable realities is acute, manifesting in convoluted forms of distraction and evasiveness.

But it’s not you. It’s they who do not understand.
    Who are they?

Whoever they may be, you wish they’d understand, but what we’ve learnt over the past few weeks is that everyone’s logic is a little twisted right now, and with Mercury, Venus, and now Sun locked in a tight Cancerian grip until July, it’s probably best that we retreat back into our respective crabholes, turn our homes into a cosy little nest, stockpile our comfort foods, and wrap ourselves tightly in metaphorical and literal security blanket.

And we’ll have none of those surprise visits, either. Heck, we’re terrified at the mere thought of neighbours stepping over our borders. No matter how hospitable we may claim to be to those we know well, the Cancerian in each of us isn’t above pointing a shotgun at any varmint who dares to trespass on our property.

SECURITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME
Let’s face it: with the world in turmoil, it’s no wonder the Cancer season’s craving for comfort and security feels more urgent than ever. With the world in the epic throes of two brutal and bitter conflicts—Russia chomping away at Ukraine like a relentless meatgrinder and Israel lockjawing Palestine in a vicious cycle of violence for nine agonising months—everyone’s nerves are frayed. Considering we are only at stage one of the cruel Saturn/Pluto semisquare period, the next nine months are set to put us all through the grinder, with rising food, housing and fuel prices high on everyone’s mind, especially now, as Mercury sextiles Mars in Taurus.

In this clammy climate, Cancer’s natural inclination to turn inward, fortify your home, and seek comfort in the familiar feels not just right, but necessary. Your home is your castle; it becomes a sanctuary, a place to pull up the drawbridge and shut out the world’s madness and surround yourself with things that make you feel safe. Herbal teas, fluffy blankets, family photos, and a pantry stocked to the brim. Maybe some extra aligators in the moat too, because at this point, some sage and a few “shoo away bad energy” mantras might not cut it. It’s about creating a haven of stability amidst the storm, where the outside world’s anxieties are kept at bay.

Cancer season is about more than just retreating—it’s about nurturing and protecting what matters most. It’s when you feel an intense urge to connect deeply with loved ones, even if that means dragging them into your cosy bunker of sanity. This season, you’ll find yourself baking bread from scratch, not because you fancy yourself a chef, but because kneading dough is like therapy. Perhaps you feel strongly about calling on old friends, just to check in, but really to remind yourself you’re not alone.

Creativity flourishes in this most personal of all cosmic backdrops. Maybe it’s crafting something kitsch; maybe it’s redecorating; maybe it’s finally starting that novel or scripting those memoirs you’ve been thinking about. The watery Cancer season encourages us to channel our emotions into something tangible, something that gives us a private sense of accomplishment and purpose.

Of course, there’s the flip side, too: the tendency to shut ourselves off, to clam up and sulk our little hearts out. With Saturn in Pisces, this period can magnify our worries and fears and turn minor setbacks into industrial-grade depressions. Saturn stations to retrograde at the end of this month, so keep a grip on reality and don’t let your personal indulgences and maudlin little habits turn into an emotional prison.

    COLLECTIVE INSECURITY
At Solstice, we see the collective energy shift towards a desperate need for national security, stronger national identity, and fortified community defences. Yet, under Saturn in Pisces, this pursuit feels volatile and confusing, as leaders seem weak, feeble, and impotent. They may as well be absent, as the collective might be better off without their so-called guidance. There’s an unsettling sense that much is hidden beneath the surface. Skullduggery and backdoor shenanigans are rampant.

The growing tensions between the US and China, and the US and Iran, have created a global landscape more combustible than a ticking time bomb. Europe is swinging hard to the right, with xenophobia and bigotry making a nasty comeback. With Mars approaching its conjunction to Uranus (mid-July) in the conservative, hardline fundamentalist Taurus, fuelling the insurgent rise to the right with a fiery, rebellious energy. As we can see, France is on the verge of a political showdown, with the far-right National Rally ready to pounce on the prevailing left. The elections, set for when Saturn stations at 19º Pisces on June 29, will be a litmus test for the tumultuous times ahead, especially given that the USA elections are only 4-5 months away.

In any case, one must know that things are not about to stabilise any time soon. A fall of empires is nigh, and the bell tolls for the safe, secure illusions of the old world. Something brave, and undeniably different is in the pipes.

The smell of war is thick in the air, adding to the sense of impending civilisational doom. Some European countries, including France and Germany, sensing the brewing conflict, are actively debating the return of conscription, drafting their citizens in preparation for what feels like an inevitable clash, both internally and with neighbouring tribes. The drums of war beat louder, echoing through the corridors of power, stirring a primal fear that permeates the very fabric of society.

    THE COSMIC MAELSTROM
The Sun’s near conjunction with Venus and its midpoint with Mercury in Cancer sets the stage for a period of emotional volatility and desperate need for security. The Full Moon at 1º07′ Capricorn creates a dissociate T-Square with Neptune at 29º Pisces. Tensions are high, but their source is mysterious and hard to pinpoint. It’s like trying to navigate through a dense fog with a busted compass. Neptune’s illusory effects mean perceptions are warped. Since 2011, when Neptune first entered Pisces, our sensory experiences have become mired in the surreal—a sense of boundless ‘oneness’, particularly expedited by our foray into the world of social media, means that we have relied more on our collective feelings rather than hard facts to form the basis of our reality. Reality and fantasy blur into one confusing mess, and you’re left wondering if you’re losing your grip or if the world has gone mad.

Pluto retrograding in the first degree of Aquarius, forming a semisextile to the Full Moon and a quincunx to the Sun, means much is not sitting well with the tech powers of surveillance and control. The hidden forces of gaslighting and manipulation are at full throttle. Social media, once a beacon of connectivity, has turned into a labyrinth of deception and propaganda. The media, political spin doctors, and social media algorithms work tirelessly to shape our perceptions, making it increasingly difficult to discern truth from illusion. They thrive on this fog, feeding us narratives that serve their agendas while obscuring the actual state of affairs. It’s a deliberate effort to keep us disoriented, compliant, and dependent on the very sources that perpetuate this chaos.

This Full Moon highlights the stark contrast between Cancer’s need for emotional safety and Capricorn’s demand for hard-nosed reality. It’s a cosmic tug-of-war, pulling you between the urge to hide under your blanket and the necessity to face the cold, hard truths. While Cancer seeks to retreat into the comforting embrace of familiar surroundings, Capricorn insists on confronting the unvarnished reality. This tension can leave you feeling torn between the desire to protect yourself and the need to pierce through the fog of deception.

You might find yourself questioning long-held beliefs, recognising that what you’ve been told doesn’t quite add up. It’s a time to sharpen your critical thinking, to seek out reliable information, and to trust your instincts when something feels off. The Neptunian influence wants you to succumb to the siren call of escapism, but the Capricorn Full Moon demands that you stay grounded and vigilant.

This is where your Cancerian instincts can actually serve you well. Use your heightened intuition to sense the underlying currents of truth amidst the sea of misinformation. Create a safe space where you can process these revelations without succumbing to fear or confusion. Surround yourself with trusted allies and sources that prioritise integrity over sensationalism.

SUN/VENUS/MERCURY CONJUNCTION: A TRIUMVIRATE OF HOPE
It’s not all bad. The Sun/Venus/Mercury conjunction in Cancer offers a lifeline amidst this chaos. Heightened self-consciousness, feelings of apartness, and even moments of insecurity can become catalysts for profound personal growth. These very struggles can drive you to seek solace in language, literature, and the deeper realms of the mind. They push you towards laughter and the mad intensities that shape and reshape your very essence. Without these challenges, you might never dive into the depths of introspection and creativity that ultimately make and unmake you.

The conjunction’s influence encourages you to turn inward, not out of fear, but as a means of discovering your true self. It’s a period where your vulnerabilities become your strengths, where your emotional highs and lows guide you to a richer understanding of who you are. In this light, the feelings of helplessness and insecurity are not mere obstacles; they are gateways to greater self-awareness and resilience."

“A Dark Turn of Affairs”: VENUS-PLUTO OPPOSITION
    July 13, 2024
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2024/07/a-dark-...to-opposition/

"Every once in a while, intensely strong feelings of love and hate get the better of us, making us lose control of where we invest our affection and where we withhold it. Venus has just blazed into Leo, indicating how our prevailing needs for love and a sense of specialness are now imbued with a flamboyant, dramatic flair. For the next three weeks, the craving for admiration and acknowledgment will be rife, often through grandiose yet warm-hearted gestures. Social gatherings and parties become centre stage, where Venus in Leo showcases where loyalty shines and betrayal cuts deep.

This extends beyond interpersonal relationships; it’s a reflection of the current socio-political climate as well. Leo prefers to be the kingpin, and even Venus nobs her chest out and forehead back, expecting to be crowned and worshipped.

Meanwhile, Pluto, currently retrograding out of Aquarius, has spent the last six months in a subtle, sly campaign to dismantle these outdated syndicates, cliques, societal systems and party norms. Pluto will have his way, possessing us all with the hidden desire to rattle centralised authority and amass the collective passions of the hive mind toward a group-minded responsibility and a demand for more ethical, egalitarian leadership. This spells trouble for the typically self-aggrandising Leo types.

Over the next twenty years, social conventions will be thoroughly and completely upended in favour of something completely innovative and fresh. Widespread striving for individualism and the gradual breakdown of rigid class and group distinctions mean that elite systems will be utterly disintegrated. This period will progressively corrode all manner of convention, forcing us to confront and adopt more unorthodox bonds and ties, avant-garde and utopian ideas, and radically eccentric people.

This transit takes us into the freak zone, where some will feel confronted by the proliferation of rainbow freak flags, while others will be completely hypnotised, inducted into the raging cult of performative alliances. Whether by hook or by crook, our perspectives on equality, diversity, and inclusivity will broaden. Now, at this moment, as Venus opposes retrograde Pluto, a powerful and dark magnetic pull charges the atmosphere. This VENUS-PLUTO opposition is a turning point, exposing the deep fractures in our sociopolitical relationships. It lays bare the phoney bravado and self-aggrandising behaviour of those clawing to be noticed and clamouring for central positions.

Venus’s unabashed entitlement against Pluto’s campaign to transform groupthink ideology produces a bold, seemingly reckless drive to manipulate the individual to pick the winning side. In the political arena, dramatic, passionate debates will ensue as leaders and groups vie for recognition and power. Superficial charm and insincerity will be exposed, both in personal connections and among public figures. This period disrupts materialistic and power-hungry pursuits, challenging societal values and pushing for more profound and meaningful change.

The opposition brings emotional turbulence, turning relationships and political alliances into bitter power struggles. The destructive aspects of control and dominance will play out in real-time, both personally and globally. Losses and upheavals—emotional, material, and political—will force a brutal reevaluation of our values and priorities. With the approaching MARS-URANUS conjunction, we can expect sudden shifts that can leave irreparable ruptures. The fallout from these power struggles will be significant, leaving lasting scars and reshaping the landscape of personal and political relationships.

Ultimately, this opposition marks a turning point in our affairs—a crucible, burning away the dross to expose a more authentic, if painful, reality. It challenges us to see beyond the superficial, to confront the dark underbelly of our desires and ambitions, and to emerge transformed, with a deeper understanding of power, love, and societal values."

"A Matter of Pride": The NEW MOON at 12°34' Leo, Sunday, August 4, 2024, 11:13 UTC
    Ang Stoic
    Aug 03, 2024
    https://angstoic.substack.com/p/a-ma...m_medium=email

    "Greeting Fellow Travellers,

It’s Leo season again, a time when our intrinsic need to shine and command attention comes to the forefront. Since the Sun dignifies Leo, it is the brightest month to explore the profound connection between self-respect and the respect we seek from others. Observe how those around you reflect your innate desire to be noticed and appreciated. Notice what you’re putting out there and how your instincts pick up on how it’s being received, if at all. Be mindful of how you interpret and respond to others’ feedback.

However, Leo also brings forth the darker aspects of our nature—pride, vanity, and the compulsion to dominate. We must balance radiant self-expression with a keen awareness of our ego’s vulnerabilities. This period illuminates our duality—the capacity to bring warmth and light while recognising the shadows we cast. Leo season challenges us to wield our regal presence and creative power responsibly, ensuring our quest for validation does not blind us to our own and others' needs. Ultimately, it calls us to embody true integrity, where our brilliance not only illuminates our path but also guides others towards collective growth and honour.

As always, the influence of Leo season is nuanced by other cosmic dynamics. We will delve into these further, especially noting the moon’s synodic reset in the mid-degrees of this glorious fixed-fire sign occurring in just a few hours.

    THE LEO NEW MOON
Around the New Moon, the moon is in its darkest phase, plunging us into the depths of our psychological landscape and unearthing the core of our self-worth and identity. As this phase magnifies our intrinsic desire to be cherished and validated, it also brings to light the unsatiated deep-seated needs of the inner child and childhood imprints that drive our behaviour to feel seen. What deep-seated fears or insecurities to feel special might surface during this time? How can we use our unmet childhood needs to lift our understanding of self-worth?

At the most personal level, what becomes most pronounced in our lives is the psychological legacy of our parental relationships. We may reflect on where we have been either excessively praised and adored, leading to an insatiable craving for attention, or neglected and deprived, resulting in a desperate quest for recognition. Are we truly cognizant of how these early experiences shape our current need for approval and our desire to be great?

At this juncture, we are confronted by a primordial urge to delve deep into the shadow aspects of our ego. The Leo Moon's energy can manifest as a compulsive need for the spotlight, where the quest for admiration becomes a facade for deeper insecurities. Are we willing to face these insecurities head-on? This behaviour often masks a fragile self-esteem, rooted in unmet childhood needs.

The psychological work during this New Moon involves radical introspection and integration of these fragmented parts of our psyche. Can we reconcile with our inner child, retrieve the missing pieces of our youth, whose longing for unconditional love and acceptance remains unmet? We might journey down memory lane, picking up clues on how to better provide our present selves with the validation and affection we seek from others, fostering a resilient and authentic sense of self.

Creativity is the key here. Leo, like the Sun, creates its own material. Leading up to the lunation, we must accept that we need to let go of parts of ourselves that seem cringeworthy, outdated or inauthentic. Some honest self-reflection and humility are necessary if we are to shed the layers of our pride that no longer serve our true essence. We need to come up with brand-new material, produce something that steps us onto a more genuine and creative expression of who we are. What aspects of your identity are holding you back? Which old patterns or beliefs are stifling your inner light? This phase calls for a fearless release, a purging of superficial acts, and a renewal of our core creative spirit.

It is only by understanding and integrating these early influences—the unconscious patterns of the needy inner child screaming for attention—that we can transcend the compulsions of our ego. Hence, this lunation is an opportunity to remodel our external performance (our dance) for validation into a profound internal affirmation. Are we ready to embrace the entirety of our being, balancing our vibrant need for expression with a grounded sense of self-worth that does not hinge on external applause? This New Moon in Leo thus becomes a portal for deep psychological transformation, leading us towards a more integrated and self-sustaining identity.

As powerful as this urge may be, however, it is subject to the slings and arrows of outrageous fortunes, and these are indicated against the context of the prevailing placements of the planets:

THE CANOPY OF STARS AND OTHER PLANETARY PLACEMENTS
Every lunation is subject to the complex web of energetic impulses it sends and receives, intricately woven through the planetary alignment against the backdrop of the constellations. While Leo reigns as the king of the zodiac, it acknowledges the diverse influences of all the other celestial entities. Each planetary placement contributes its unique flavour to the cosmic weave, influencing and being influenced in return. This interconnectedness creates a dynamic interplay of energies, where Leo's iridescent regal light must pay homage to the myriad impulses of its celestial counterparts. Let us delve into these planetary alignments and explore how their interactions shape and nuance the majestic Leo season:

Venus in Leo and the Yods of Cosmic Recalibration

Venus at 29º13' Leo sits at the apex of a powerful yod, formed by a quincunx from Pluto retrograde at 0º35' Aquarius and another quincunx from Neptune at 29º38' Pisces. These critical degrees indicate profound stress, demanding a recalibration of our cultural values—a pressure both uncomfortable and necessary for our evolution. This configuration has already been influenced by Mercury, who will turn retrograde at 4º06' Virgo within 24 hours of the lunation (August 5), revisiting this apex on August 15. With the influence of Regulus, the kingmaker star, these weeks signal the throning, dethroning, and possible rethroning of significant figures in our lives.

Venus, at this apex, is crucial in our quest for peace and love. Her regal position demands a balance between self-love and the respect we seek from others. The quincunx to Pluto introduces themes of intersectional power struggles and deep social transformation, urging us to confront hidden motivations and our most selfish and sinister desires for individual control. As we are seeing, Pluto in Aquarius means that power is dispersed evenly among all, leading to its gross debilitation. Aquarius’ fixed air filter concentrates on equality, diversity and dispersion of power, diluting Pluto's intensely coercive energies. Its retrograde motion signifies a period of heavy introspection, pushing us all to fundamentally dial back our approach to how we choose to engage one another on common grounds.

Neptune’s involvement, itself stationed in retrograde at the critical anaretic degree of Pisces, mixes in another profound layer of wide-reaching psycho-spiritual complexity. Neptune's ethereal, dissolving influence compels us to release old ego boundaries and relinquish phoney or glamourised displays of grandiosity. This is the “Say Goodbye to Hollywood” degree. The precise sesquisquare to the Leo lunation serves to humble our Leonine pride, intensifying our awareness of how exhausted the bombast and fanfare have become, turning our attention to the need for genuine spiritual and emotional authenticity. This potent aspect dissolves illusions, urging a deep reassessment of our values and reminding us that true nobility stems from within, rather than from the incessant peacocking and fleeting allure of external validation.

Mars/Jupiter Conjunction and the Saturn Square
Building onto the horrid complexity of this lunation (and the ensuing Full Moon) is the approaching Mars-Jupiter conjunction at 16º41' Gemini, becoming exact on August 14. This aspect amplifies our fervent drive (Mars) to speak up and assert our beliefs (Jupiter). However, Jupiter is in detriment in Gemini, where its expansive, philosophical nature is diluted into superficial soundbites and inconsistent, often incomprehensible stories. Gemini’s mutable air energy contrasts sharply with Jupiter’s need for depth and coherence, leading to potential scattering of focus and dilution of Jupiter’s benevolent qualities into trivial pursuits and nonsensical narratives.

While Gemini’s adaptability aids Mars’ drive and initiative, it can also scatter Mars’ focus, reducing its effectiveness in sustained efforts. This combination results in a vibrant, somewhat aggressive enthusiasm to state our case in principle, yet lacks the depth and consistency needed for meaningful impact.

Complicating this further is the tight square between Mars/Jupiter vs Saturn in Pisces, becoming exact on August 17. Saturn’s structured, disciplined nature struggles profoundly in Pisces’ mutable, nebulous waters, where its need for control and stability is continuously undermined and enfeebled. This problematic placement highlights Saturn’s vulnerability, as Pisces' fluidity and lack of boundaries dissolve its authority. The square intensifies the tension, with Gemini’s scattered, superficial context clashing against Saturn’s unyielding but invisible demand for structure and focus. This configuration signals a perilous societal struggle, where our passionate crusade to assert our beliefs encounters significant obstacles. Getting through even this first of three squares will be a real test upon our personal and collective state of mental health.

Mounting Conflicts and the Ferocious Battle for Integrity
The current cosmic landscape highlights the mounting conflicts we face on multiple fronts—personally, domestically, and globally. The stars reflect the intense pressure we feel to defend our personal integrity and assert our beliefs. In every arena, our home life and marriages to the broader sociopolitical stage, the world appears more divided now than ever. From the tension in global affairs, the hostilities brewing in foreign relations, domestic political strife, or the morally provocative controversies seen in the Olympic Games, the sense of impending discord is palpable.

"No war is inevitable until it breaks out," yet the stars warn us that our pride and loud proclamations bring us perilously close to all-out conflict. The Mars-Jupiter conjunction in Gemini, with its quick-draw impulse to assert our opinions, runs headlong into Saturn’s cold-bucket-of-water soberings in Pisces. This planetary clash underscores the importance of taking a step back in humility, discipline, and a holistically realistic assessment of our actions. As we steer precariously through these turbulent waters, the need to balance our enthusiastic drive with grounded wisdom becomes paramount.

These planetary alignments emphasise the urgency and intensity of our current struggles. Our evolution depends on our ability to recalibrate our values and embrace a more authentic, spiritually aligned approach to our conflicts. Hence, this fiery New Moon in Leo becomes a burning-hot moment, granting us the seminal urge to seek deeper self-understanding and integration of our fragmented selves through the immediate response of those in our audience. Only by humbly acknowledging and addressing our internal inadequacies through attentive feedback can we hope to cultivate genuine peace, love, and understanding in our external world.

This fortnight's horoscopes illuminate the profound potential within the heart of each sign’s inner child, finding the voice to express our child-like truth and to reinvent ourselves. They offer guidance on how to harness the New Moon to set intentions that strike a balance between true, self-assured expression and mindful humility, ensuring our path forward is both enlightening and empowering. I leave you with those.

Many blessings, and have an amazing New Moon xx

'They gave Pandora a box. Prometheus begged her not to open it. She opened it. Every evil to which human flesh is heir came out of it. The last thing to come out of the box was hope. It flew away.'~KV

The Full Moon in Aquarius on 19 August 2024 culminates into a profound moment of personal reflection, relationship tension, and potential global upheaval, casting a stark light on the seismic shifts occurring both within the collective psyche and the structures that govern our world.

This fixed-sign lunation is supercharged by two significant T-squares that involve some of the most potent planetary players, including Uranus, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto. These powerful cosmic alignments mirror the forces currently reshaping our world. Despite our attempts to delay or avoid the unavoidable, the celestial pressures acting now demand conflict, ensuring we confront the core reality of our situation head-on.

The Leo-Aquarius Axis: Individualism Vs Collective Consciousness
At the heart of this Full Moon lies the opposition between the Leo Sun and the Aquarius Moon, a dynamic that pits the willful expression of individual identity, autonomy and might against the social ideals of a collective unconsciousness.

Leo, ruled by the Sun, seeks to shine, to lead, and to be recognised for its unique contributions. It is the archetype of the hero, the leader, and the sovereign, embodying a sense of self that is distinctly central to the story, powerful, and confident. Aquarius, on the other hand, represents the collective, the community, and the hive mind. Ruled by Uranus and traditionally by Saturn, Aquarius is concerned with the future, with progress and reform, and with the dismantling of old structures that no longer serve ‘the greater good’.

This luminary opposition is further intensified by the presence of Uranus in Taurus, forming a tight T-square with both the Sun and Moon. Uranus, the great disruptor, is maligned by the fixed, earthy stability of Taurus, begrudgingly shaking the foundations of our material world. Taurus is the sign of values, resources, and security—both financial and emotional. With Uranus here, those structures are under siege, forcing us to reconsider what we truly value and how secure those values are in an increasingly unpredictable world.

As the focal planet in this T-square, Uranus channels the tension between the Leo Sun and Aquarius Moon into sudden, radical changes that can feel both liberating and destabilising. This fixed T-square creates an empty space in Scorpio, which, opposite Uranus, suggests that the resolution to these tensions lies in confronting the deeper, often unconscious fears that drive our attachment to security. Ruled by Pluto, Scorpio is the sign of transformation by death, regeneration, power, and its shadow complexes. Try as we may, it demands that we face the uncomfortable truths about our origins, survival instincts, our hidden motivations, our desires, and our need for control.

Pluto in Aquarius: The Hive Mind Awakens
The lunation grows ever more ominous with Pluto’s recent slip into Aquarius, casting a malevolent spell that snares the collective consciousness in its hypnotic vice of power, transformation, and dark manipulation. Pluto’s entry into this fixed-air sign is deplorable, for the lord of the underworld feels most uncomfortable in such a coldly detached domain. It marks the onset of an era fraught with constant peril, where the revolutionary struggle for dominance over the collective mind will reach unprecedented heights. This transit, extending until 2043, looms as a harbinger of a long series of unsettling changes in our perceptions of power, applications of technology, and conceptions of community, with Pluto poised to entangle us all under his relentless grasp.

Pluto in Aquarius stirs the hive mind, activating the collective's potential for both progressive change and a totalitarian control yet unseen in our history books. Aquarius is a sign of both enlightenment and radicalism, and Pluto's presence here can bring out the extreme best and worst of these tendencies. On one hand, we may see the rise of movements that genuinely seek to empower the masses, redistribute power, and create a more just and equitable society. On the other hand, there is a risk of these movements being co-opted by those who seek to ‘tweak the algorithm’, manipulating the masses for their own gain, insidiously using technology, propaganda, and social engineering to maintain the ultimate state of tyranny and control.

This influence is made particularly potent when we consider the ongoing sextile relationship between Pluto and Neptune, which is now in the closing degrees of Pisces. Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011, dissolving the boundaries between the individual and the collective dream, distorting any distinction between reality and illusion. Over the past 12 to 13 years, Neptune in Pisces has subtly created a hazy condition of boundlessness and permeability, where the lines between fact and fiction, between the self and the other, have become increasingly blurred.

Neptune in Pisces: The Great Dissolution
Neptune’s sojourn through Pisces has been marked by a gradual, almost imperceptible dissolution of the structures that once clearly distinguished individual and collective dreams and ideals. The sprawling advent of social media, the exponential rise of artificial intelligence, and the sensationalising proliferation of disinformation on all platforms are all expressions of this mysterious Neptunian influence. Neptune, now at the final degree of Pisces, has permeated our fashions and artistic trends to the point of saturation, slowly eroding pre-existing cultural narratives and replacing them with a swirling soup of indiscriminate stories, spurious myths, and illusions whose origins are often impossible to discern or validate. Whether real or fake, true or false, they have all but indefinitely suspended our faculties of belief.

This blurring of reality has profound implications for our collective psyche. On one hand, it has created a space for new visions, dreams, and possibilities to emerge. On the other, it has also led to a deep sense of disillusionment, as the lines between truth and falsehood have become increasingly difficult to navigate. The sextile between Pluto and Neptune suggests that these energies are working together, subtly influencing the collective in ways that may not be immediately apparent but are deeply transformative nonetheless.

This aspect also creates a series of Yod formations with any planet crossing the Leo/Virgo cusp, an astrological alignment that perpetrates intense degrees of complexity into the current cultural zeitgeist. Yods, often referred to as "Fingers of God," are configurations that point to karmic adjustments, fated events, and the need for significant change. The involvement of Pluto, Neptune, and any planet crossing the critical Leo-to-Virgo threshold, home of the fixed-star Regulus (the kingmaker) suggests that we are at a climacteric point, where the old narratives and power structures are being dismantled, making way for something new—but not without significant upheaval and re-evaluation.

Mars/Jupiter in Gemini: A Scattershot of Ideas and Actions
The second T-square in this lunation involves a recently conjunct Mars and Jupiter in Gemini as the focal points, forming a tense aspect with the opposition between Venus in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces. Mars in Gemini is restless, eager to act, to lacerate with his mind, but often without a clear sense of direction. Jupiter only amplifies this energy, lending supposed moral cause, leading to an overabundance of dogmatic ideas, loose lips, rashly dithering actions, and justice-chasing prospects that can quickly become overwhelming, overblown and scattered out of proportion.

The opposition between Venus in Virgo and Saturn in Pisces reflects the exasperating reality of seeking stability and practicality in our relationships, only to be met with aversion, avoidance, and the elusive nature of escapism. Venus in Virgo longs for order, reliability, and tangible connection, yet Saturn in Pisces introduces a confounding energy where boundaries dissolve, commitments waver, and clarity is obscured. This dynamic creates a frustrating cycle where, despite our efforts to ground our relationships in reality, we are instead confronted with a mirage of promises and unmet expectations. The result is often a deeply foreboding sense of disillusionment and a feeling of separation, as the tangible connection we crave seems perpetually out of reach, leaving us to grapple with the disorienting gap between what we desire in our hearts and the abject reality of what we experience.

In T-square to Mars and Jupiter in mutable Gemini, this creates situations where the already strained relationships are further destabilised by impulsive, erratic actions and overzealously-held proclamations. The frustration of unmet expectations in relationships is exacerbated by the seemingly irreconcilable and somewhat fickle-minded beliefs of Mars/Jupiter, leading to outrageously abrupt decisions, harsh words, and a barrage of contradictory ideas that scatter focus and heighten confusion to the point of absurdity. As seen in the past few weeks, the desire for clear, reliable connections is thwarted at all levels as conversations spiral into heartbreakingly chaotic debates, and attempts at resolution are met with resistance, avoidance, or even outright escapism. A cycle of conflict develops, where efforts to bridge the emotional gap only widen it further, leaving both parties disillusioned and increasingly disconnected. It must be said that, in synergy with the lunation’s Uranian T-Square, the relentless pursuit of an unattainable ideal, driven by a sense of pride and moral urgency, only serves to magnify the sense of futility and separation, making it difficult to find common ground or genuine understanding.

The empty space in Sagittarius suggests that the resolution to this T-square lies in finding a broader perspective, one that can integrate the diverse and often conflicting energies at play. Sagittarius is the sign of higher, non-logical but intuitive understanding, bigger-picture attitudes, and the search for meaning. It reminds us that in times of great complexity and confusion, it is essential to maintain a sense of purpose and to seek out the larger truths that can guide us through the chaos.

Tumultuous Times: The Dream is Over
Taken together, these astrological configurations reflect the epic nature of the times we are living in. The combination of the Aquarius Full Moon, the T-squares involving Uranus, Mars, and Jupiter, and the influence of Pluto, Neptune, and the Yod formations all point to a period of profound transformation and upheaval of Western culture. It has become increasingly clear that the old narratives, the old structures, and the old ways of being are being dismantled, making way for new possibilities—though not without significant challenges and conflicts as we head towards the latter half of 2024. Since 2011, the slow and steady influence of Neptune in Pisces has eroded the boundaries between reality and illusion, revealing how the delicate narratives of our lives have been subtly, and sometimes overtly, controlled by centralised forces. The truth has seeped out like water through a cracked dam, and there’s no holding back the tide now.

In this tensely-charged atmosphere, the influence of Pluto in Aquarius and the Aquarius Full Moon’s tension with Uranus in Taurus serve as potent symbols of release, liberation, and the tumultuous forces that have been unleashed upon the collective consciousness. These astrological markers evoke the ancient myth of Pandora, who, against all warnings, opened a box that unleashed every evil into the world, leaving only Hope trapped within. Hope, which we might once have seen as a beacon of possibility, now sits uneasily in this context—perhaps not a blessing, but a cruel reminder of what remains out of reach. We are left to ponder whether hope itself is a double-edged sword, heavy with malice and pain, dragging us deeper into a world reshaped by forces beyond our control.

These forces—much like the Promethean fire that defied the gods to bring light to humanity—symbolise both the destructive and liberating potentials of the Uranian and Aquarian energies. The internet, social media, and AI are the modern equivalents of Pandora’s box—instruments of tremendous power that, once unleashed, have irreversibly altered our collective reality. On one hand, they have democratised the purveyors of information, wresting the power from centralised masters, enabling mind revolutions, exposing corruption, and connecting people in ways previously unimaginable. Yet, they have also unleashed torrents of disinformation, manipulation, and cultural erosion, blurring the lines between truth and fabrication, self and other, until we are left questioning the very fabric of our reality.

As we navigate the next few months, where the boundaries between individual and collective experience become increasingly permeable, we are at once confronted by the double-edged sword of both the opportunities for connection through the exchange of ideas and the risks of deeper manipulation and control. Although the genie is out of the box, the Promethean gift of fire to the humans, once a symbol of enlightenment and progress, now casts long shadows across the digital landscape, where the same technologies that promise liberation can also imprison us in cycles of misinformation and alienation. We are still too easily fooled and misled. This is the paradox of our time—one where the tools of our liberation are also the sources of our greatest disillusionment, tyranny and oppression. As humans our collective memory resonates on the safety of being controlled, to the extent where true ‘freedom’ feels disconcerting and uncomfortable.

The Demise of Hollywood & The American Dream
Whether people are aware or it has gone forgotten, America was founded amid intense political upheaval and revolutionary fervour. The American Revolution dragged on for eight years after the Declaration of Independence in 1776, finally ending in 1783. It was supposed to establish a government based on liberty, democracy, and individual rights. Influenced by Enlightenment thinkers, the Founding Fathers envisioned a republic where power came from the governed, not monarchs or aristocrats.

Today, these ideals seem forgotten. Malignant partisan politics piss all over 'checks and balances,' individual liberties are eroded by intrusive laws and censorship, and government accountability is eclipsed by big money and shady corporate interests. The election system is severely compromised by gerrymandering, voter suppression, and the overwhelming influence of oligarchic moguls. The integrity of democracy is so corrupted that it's barely recognisable from what it was conceived to be. Free speech, another cornerstone of the republic, seems to be in its death throes. Mainstream media, once a bastion of investigative power, is now viewed by many as a corporate-controlled hoax, aligned with electoral interests, limiting diverse voices and strangling genuine discourse.

As we near the first quarter mark of the 21st century, America’s foreign policy, riddled with CIA interventions and regime changes, has left dozens of countries destabilised, forcing millions to flee their war-ravaged homelands. These individuals often end up at the borders of other nations, frequently entering the US illegally, seeking refuge from the chaos partly caused by American actions and its allies. The world watches as these displaced millions are scorned everywhere, noting the hypocrisy and arrogance, which breeds only resentment and mistrust, tarnishing America's global image as the so-called land of opportunity and arbiter of freedom and democracy.

Meanwhile, internally, Americans seem consumed with arguing over superficial, skin-deep issues—performative social justice, biblical righteousness, identity politics, and endless culture wars—while ignoring the geopolitical tinderbox of hatred and resentment simmering just outside their borders. The obsession with these trivialities distracts from the far more dangerous global realities that threaten to engulf not just America, but the world.

Yet, the dream machine keeps spinning out the almost implausible delusion—that the United States is in any way united and that the American Dream is still achievable. Hollywood, largely built by Eastern European Jews, crafted an illusion of the American Dream that was far removed from reality. This idealised vision once united people, but as the facade crumbles, stark divisions in American society become glaringly evident. The country is now torn and polarised to the point where civil conflict seems a real threat. The founding principles have been sidelined, leaving a democracy in disarray and a world teetering on the brink of World War III, with the very real possibility of nuclear escalation.

However, the internet and social networks are starting to rip apart the centralised narrative that Hollywood and the mainstream media (MSM) have peddled for decades. No longer is the military-industrial complex and its corporate bedfellows able to control the story unchallenged. Independent voices, armed with facts and unfiltered perspectives, are exposing the cracks in this grand illusion. The whole charade is about to come undone, revealing the rotten core beneath the glossy surface.

This narrative of America’s decline is alarming, but it’s also a call for all the West to remember and revive the foundational ideals of liberty, democracy, and genuine governance—before it’s too late.

As these astrological forces converge, they mirror the tumult of our time, forcing us to confront the disillusionment and decay that have shattered the dreams we once held dear. But just as Pandora’s box unleashed horrors upon the world, it also left us with a resilient hope—a force not of naive optimism, but of fierce defiance. This is a hope that refuses to accept the status quo, that compels us to stand up and speak out against all that is wrong, even if it means blowing the whistle on the very systems that bind us. It’s a hope that recognises the need to make sacrifices—perhaps even the ultimate sacrifice—so that future generations might live free from the chains of mental enslavement. In the new age of information, truthful data holds the highest value. In this critical moment, the path forward demands courage, a willingness to tear down the illusions that have kept us complacent, and the resolve to build something true and lasting. It’s not enough to dream of a better future; we must fight for it, with the full knowledge that the stakes have never been higher.

“The Great Unraveling”: The NEW MOON at 11°04′ Virgo

(The images in this update from Ang Stoic were very interesting to me because "coincidentally",I just finished reading the last book, "Black Bird Oracle" in the best selling "All Souls Series" of novels by Deborah Harkness which started with "A Discovery of Witches". The main character in the novels is a type of White Witch known as a "Weaver", as she makes magic by tying knots in invisible strings of energy, which thereby strengthen and complete a series of spells, each one building upon the last. And there appears to be a lot of weaving going on in the images following...
New Moon is the best time to cleanse crystals in salt water and put them outside to soak up the incoming energies, and I will be sure to do that this time and see what magic the cosmos imbues them with.
It appears the incoming energies may be helpful in tying up those loose ends and moving on to a whole new set of developments.)

    "Greetings Fellow Travellers,

These are indeed interesting times, and I’m glad to be sharing them with you. We are, of course, living through a profound paradigm shift on this planet—one that strikes at the very core of our collective understanding of reality. Though the process has, since 2011, been subtle and somewhat imperceptible, it has become increasingly daunting as it accelerates our awareness exponentially.

At its root lies the phenomenon that the subject/object duality, which has shaped human thought for centuries, is dissolving. We are rapidly beginning to discover that the 3D object—ie. the ‘other’—doesn’t exist in any true sense. Instead, the universe is one essential subject experiencing itself through infinite forms. The illusion of separation, born from our mind’s ability to reflect on itself, has led us to feel distinct from what we experience. Yet, as linear time begins to collapse, many of us are starting to observe a higher reality, that there is no separation. Everything is one.

As we move through this shift, many of us are becoming increasingly uncomfortable and distressed at how much of the outer is seeping through our boundaries of distinction. We are sensing that the old world is no longer able to support our deeply ingrained notions of separateness. The structures that once upheld our understanding of self versus other are beginning to crumble, leaving us feeling vulnerable, increasingly exposed, untethered and anxious about our loss of attachment to those things that we held near and which defined us. This discomfort is a natural response to the profound changes unfolding around us, as the very foundations of our empirical reality are being questioned.

    The End of Empires
Throughout history, empires have risen and fallen, from the mighty Roman Empire to the colonial powers of the 19th century. Each has left an indelible mark on civilisation, but all eventually succumbed to the inevitable forces of change and decay. Today, we stand on the precipice of another such transformation, as the cosmic tides signal the end of yet another era of dominion and control.

This paradigm shift is strongly indicated by the outer planets—Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus—each edging toward the cusp of a significant sign shift by 2025. These planetary movements herald a shift in consciousness that will fundamentally reshape our collective experience. Pluto’s impending move into Aquarius, Neptune’s transition into Aries, and Uranus’ entry into Gemini all signal the catabolic breakdown of old paradigms and the emergence of new ways of thinking and being. We are standing on the threshold of a new era of intelligence, one that, in a brief moment in linear time, could both consume and integrate us all into a singular entity. As these energies converge, there is the potential for our collective intelligence to resurrect and transform, synthesising knowledge and insight in ways that transcend our current limitations. This new consciousness has the power to unify diverse strands of human thought, merging all disciplines, both historical and current, into the present moment, guiding us toward innovative solutions and deeper connections that redefine what it means to be truly intelligent and interconnected. However, the immediate path forward is fraught with danger and existential challenges as we struggle to let go of our attachment to the familiar and leap into the brave unknown.

The human condition, as we know it, still rests on the false belief that we are separate entities facing an objective universe. The truth is, this illusion is the foundation of all our knowledge, all our pursuits, and indeed, all of civilisation itself. What we’re really doing is frantically maintaining the illusion of separateness—of the ‘self’. There is no ultimate knowledge to attain because there is no real knower. The idea of a seperate self accumulating wisdom or progressing toward something is just another layer of deception, one that keeps us locked in a perpetual struggle, competing for what we perceive as the dwindling resources of a finite world.

This illusion of separateness has far-reaching consequences. We see it manifesting in the divisions that mark our world—national and ethnic boundaries that carve up the planet, histories full of wars fought over these lines, and the increasing distinctions between black and white, male and female, rich and poor, democrat and republican, etc. These identities, which once served to help us navigate our place in the unexplored universe, are now becoming more extreme, more polarised, as the insistence on separateness and individual supremacy drives us deeper into realms of division, oppression and authoritarianism.

The schism of hoisting ourselves into ever-narrower groups exacerbates this problem, deepening the illusion that we are fundamentally different from one another. The overlapping and intertwined nature of our tribal identities further fragments our collective experience, leading us to become divided by our struggles and wars, driven by attempts to inflict social and biblical justice—efforts that only reinforce the boundaries and perpetuate the cycle of separation and conflict.

At the heart of this illusion lies our obsession with status, money, and institutionalised power. These forces have not only infected our corporeal bodies but have also metabolically altered our understanding of institutions and establishments. This process begins with the patriarchal rule of families and extends outward to the outer regions of global control. Our societal structures, from the nuclear family unit to multinational corporations, are built on the hierarchical foundations of control, dominance, and the pursuit and acquisition of material wealth. This obsession has driven us to view life through the lens of competition and conquest, where success is measured by accumulation and power is maintained through division.

Astrologically, this paradigm shift is mirrored in the cosmos. Pluto’s return to the anaretic degree of Saturn-ruled Capricorn marks the final chapter in the extreme radicalisation of this shift. Pluto, the planet of transformation and power, at the critical degree of Capricorn, the sign of structure and authority, signals the breaking down of old hierarchical paradigms. The structures, whose administrative instruments have upheld the illusion of separateness, are crumbling, giving way to an intensified struggle for survival as these dark forces of division reach their zenith before their inevitable collapse. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, governs the very institutions and systems that define our societal order—governments, corporations, financial systems, and patriarchal structures. Under Pluto’s relentless pressure, these patently defunct systems are being forced to confront their own limitations, and we are witnessing the final blows of their undoing.

This pressure is further intensified by Saturn’s sustained 10-week semisquare to Pluto, a cosmic alignment that has exerted a brutal amount of alchemical force. Saturn, with its association with structure, discipline, and authority, has long upheld the rigid frameworks that keep society in order. Yet, under Pluto’s transformative influence, Saturn’s rule over Capricorn becomes a brutal catalyst of change. The semisquare aspect between these two planets compresses these systems, subjecting them to an excruciating degree of strain. The result is an inevitable buckling under this weight—a breaking point where outdated structures can no longer bear the weight that is placed upon them and must give way to something new. This can be an excruciating time for those still invested in the old anachronistic architecture of power, yet it is an inevitable and necessary collapse that clears the way for a complete metamorphosis, forcing us to re-evaluate our relationship with power, status, and control at every radius of experience, inner and outer.

Over the next week, Mars, now approaching the end of Gemini, squares Neptune in Pisces, demonstrating how futile is the fight with logic and linear thought. Mars in Gemini drives us toward action, but in this sign, it does so through an aggressive bombardment of data, facts, and scattered details. We may find ourselves overwhelmed by a torrent of propaganda, each piece vying for our attention, miring us into confusion rather than clarity. Squaring Neptune, the planet of dreams, illusions, and the dissolution of boundaries, this aspect can cloud our judgment, leading us to act on misinformation, illusions, or half-truths. The battle here is one of discernment—steering through the cacophony and misplaced anger to find what is ultimately real and true rather than getting lost in the fog of deception or disorientation.

Adding to this potent, but toxic brew, Uranus, now stationing to turn retrograde at the end of his 7-year journey through Taurus, threatens to further rock our understanding of reality by inverting every definition, flipping everything so that up becomes down, left becomes right, and right becomes wrong. The real danger packed into concentrated Uranus transits is the potential to alienate us from the most fundamental aspects of life, as we become overly obsessed with the alternative and the ideal. Deep within, many of us harbour a desire to create the perfect system and dismantle existing ones. As Uranus retrogrades, it provokes an internal revolution against systems that no longer support holistic survival. This period will likely precipitate a frantic inner rebellion, a willful urge to replace old models with new ones as retrograde Uranus continues to dramatically generate shocking epiphanies and sudden realisations as it shifts our perspectives. By the time we approach the eclipses and, later, when Uranus opposes the Scorpio Sun in mid-November, we may witness the tumultuous demolition of old structures of consciousness, radically replacing them with startling new paradigms.

This electrical energy is compounded by Mercury, now direct in the proud and dignified Leo, yet still in its retrograde shadow until September 12. As Mercury forms its third and final square to Uranus on September 6, just before re-entering Virgo on September 9, we may find ourselves wrestling with cascading new insights, unsettling disruptions, and the inexplicable urge to detach and break free from constraints. Perhaps it’s worth noting that it’s best to stay grounded through this time, while also remaining open to new ideas, even if they seem destabilising at first.

However, it is the New Moon’s opposition to Saturn in Pisces that adds a critical dimension to this moment of cosmic reckoning. As this alignment forms, it brings to the surface a growing awareness of our limitations, amplifying our sensitivity to criticism and making us feel the weight of scrutiny more intensely than usual. Even seemingly minor issues may feel jarring, shaking our confidence and making us question our path. This heightened psycho-emotional sensitivity is a stark reflection of Saturn’s stern influence, urging us to confront the deeper fears and insecurities that lie beneath the surface of our interrelational dynamics. This opposition sets the stage for what is to follow in these next weeks, particularly with the upcoming Pisces Lunar Super Eclipse in the following fortnight, which will further illuminate the unresolved emotional and spiritual tensions within us, followed by the South Node Libra Solar Eclipse on October 2.

We covered these energies in greater depth in our most recent episode of Cosmic Bus.

    The Virgo New Moon
As these cosmic forces play out, we are being called to steer through the roughest part of this shift with great awareness and intention. This New Moon is the last lunation before the Lunar Eclipse of Sep 18, and the epic Solar on Oct 2.

We are about to witness how the fear that drives us to cling to separateness, to double down on divisions, is only a symptom of the greater metamorphosis at hand. In a phenomenal shift of understanding, we are discovering that we are not separate; we are not isolated entities locked in conflict. We are part of a single, interconnected whole. The challenge before us is to transcend the illusion, to recognise the oneness that has always been there, and to move forward not as fragmented individuals, but as unified expressions of a greater reality.

This Virgo New Moon presents a precious opportunity to recalibrate and realign with what truly matters. In a world rife with all kinds of distractions and overwhelming details, Virgo’s intent asks us to focus on the essentials—those core values and principles that guide us through tumultuous times. This is a perfect moment to let go of the excess, silence the noise, and declutter what only clouds our judgment and weighs us down. On a broader level, acknowledge that the time has come to release divisive ideologies and outdated practices, and relinquish the relentless yet somewhat futile pursuit of power that continues to fracture our communities. Observe the troubles and stresses and set about to fix what you can, focusing on cultivating collaboration, healing, and practical solutions that benefit the collective.

The New Moon’s near conjunction with Vesta adds a mystique of sacred intent to this lunation, bequeathing us with the clarity and purity of purpose to form perfect intentions. Vesta, the guardian of the sacred flame, aligns most naturally with Virgo’s meticulous nature to help us discern where to direct our energy and attention. This alignment empowers us to set intentions that are not only practical but also deeply aligned with our higher values—intentions that can guide us through the complex and shifting landscape of our times.

Many blessings, and have an amazing New Moon xx"

    ASTROLOGY OF NOW

"As Pluto retrogrades to the anaretic degree of Capricorn on September 2, the full intensity of its transformative power comes to a head. This marks the beginning of the end for a cycle that began in 2008, culminating in the conjunctions of Saturn and Jupiter in 2020. Pluto’s final transit through 29º Capricorn is the ultimate reckoning for the rigid structures that have long upheld Capricorn’s authority, hierarchies, and societal systems. Stationing direct on October 12 before departing for Aquarius on November 19, Pluto will not return to Capricorn until 2254, sealing the fate of a dying era.

The 29th degree rings as the death knell of the old patriarchy, the last gasp of its rigid, controlling forces. Here, Capricorn’s hierarchical structures—those rooted in dominance, suppression, and paternalistic rule—face their final trial. No longer hidden beneath the surface, the systems of power, authority, and the so-called “father” figure are brought to the light for judgment. From the familial archetype of the father as protector and disciplinarian to the grander symbols of kings, rulers, and even the divine image of “God,” this paternal dominance is laid bare. For centuries, these structures have defined politics, religion, and law, acting as the pillars of order, tradition, and control. At their peak, these systems suppressed individual autonomy and stifled any alternative power dynamics, particularly those that challenged male supremacy.

Now, as Pluto begins its final descent through Capricorn, these entrenched patriarchal systems—whether in politics, corporation, religion, finance, or the nuclear family—will face severe scrutiny. Exposed for their ruthless ambition to rise to the top of the echelons of power, their escalating overreach of corruption and systemic hypocrisy, they are forced into confrontation with their own self-appointed obsolescence. Pluto’s deep, transformative energy heralds the dismantling of these archaic power dynamics, clearing the way for Aquarius’s new era of egalitarianism, innovation, and freedom. This marks the final death and regeneration of the patriarchy as we’ve known it, ushering in a profound shift that will ripple through every corner of society.

At this critical turning point, let’s look into the sectors most likely to experience restraints in a little more detail.

    1. Governments and Political Power Structures
What: National governments, global governance bodies (UN, IMF, WHO, World Bank), and political institutions represent Capricorn’s grip on authority and structure. As Pluto reaches 29º Capricorn, the heart of global hegemonies that thrive on control—whether overt (authoritarian regimes) or covert (neoliberal democracies)—is brought to crisis.

How: Pluto uncovers layers of corruption and manipulation at the highest echelons of power. This includes the less-visible forces driving global agendas—groups like AIPAC, which influences US foreign policy through pro-Zionist lobbying, and the World Economic Forum (WEF), where global elites formulate economic and ideological strategies behind closed doors. These groups operate under the guise of international cooperation but often promote one-world governance, centralised control, and extensive corporate infiltration. As Pluto grinds toward Aquarius, governments that serve corporate interests and globalist ideologies face either a brutal crackdown to preserve the status quo (increased surveillance, digital control, censorship) or collapse under the weight of rebellion and systemic rot. Expect intense public scrutiny, social unrest, and the final death of governments rooted in the exploitation of resources and people.

    2. Corporations and Economic Power
What: Multinational conglomerates and financial institutions are the cornerstones of global capitalism, with enormous power concentrated in a few hands—Big Tech, Big Pharma, and the oil industry being key players.

How: Pluto demands a do-or-die outcome, stripping away the veneer of “corporate social responsibility” and forcing an end to unchecked exploitation. Corporations that have manipulated global supply chains, controlled vast media platforms, or monopolised healthcare for profit will either face extreme governmental regulation (anti-monopoly laws, aggressive taxation) or implode from within. Behind closed doors, organisations like the WEF work to centralize economic control, pushing for corporate dominance over nation-states, but as Pluto’s energy intensifies, the grip of these shadow powers will weaken. Expect dramatic restructuring, bankruptcies, or corporate takeovers as the public awakens to the reality of their unchecked influence on world governments and economies.

    3. Financial Systems and Banking
What: Central banks, global financial markets, and debt-based economies that have shaped global wealth inequality will face unparalleled pressure under Pluto’s final reckoning.

How: The institutions that dictate fiscal policy, from the Federal Reserve to the European Central Bank, have long perpetuated a system of financial dependency and debt slavery. As Pluto exerts its final force on Capricorn’s financial structures, expect moves toward centralised digital currencies, such as CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies), designed to monitor and control every financial transaction. While this could appear as “modern›isation,” it’s fundamentally a bid for state control over global finance. Efforts to chastise or stabilise crumbling economies through austerity and technocratic solutions will only expose the unsustainability of the debt economy, leading to systemic financial collapses, protests, ushering in the dawn of new economic models that are decentralised and free from corporate-state exploitation.

    4. Legal Systems and the Judiciary
What: Legal systems and courts worldwide, long used to protect the elite and perpetuate systemic inequality, will undergo seismic shifts.

How: Pluto brings the final exposure of corruption within legal frameworks—deep-seated biases, manipulation by corporate interests, and the protection of the ruling class. As this energy reaches its zenith, expect governments to attempt draconian measures in the name of “order.” The use of emergency powers, mass surveillance, and heavy censorship laws will be thinly veiled attempts to preserve authority. Yet, this could also be a time of radical legal reforms, particularly as grassroots movements demand the dismantling of unjust systems. Power struggles between entrenched elites and reformers will determine whether justice systems are reshaped to serve humanity or further entrenched in authoritarianism.

    5. Patriarchal Systems and Gender Norms
What: Patriarchal structures, deeply embedded in both government and corporate leadership, are coming under fire in this climactic moment.

How: The last vestiges of male-dominated power systems will be torn apart under Pluto’s relentless exposure. This includes the stranglehold patriarchal ideologies have on leadership, from governments and corporations to religious institutions. Anticipate conservative forces to fight back, doubling down on regressive gender norms as they sense their waning power. On the other hand, movements for gender equality will intensify, dismantling these systems from within. Patriarchal dominance, which has upheld economic, political, and social structures, will either be transformed or face unprecedented levels of resistance as Pluto’s energy forces a reevaluation of power, privilege, and equality in anticipation for the furore of the Aquarian chapter.

    6. Religious and Spiritual Institutions
What: The relationship between religion, politics, and society is about to face radical scrutiny, with the manipulation of spiritual systems to maintain power coming to light.

How: Pluto will force religious institutions, particularly those aligned with political regimes, into crisis. The influence of religious lobby groups such as Zionist-backed AIPAC, which shapes US policy on Israel, or religious factions pushing for greater control over social issues like abortion and LGBTQ+ rights, will face fierce opposition as social justice battles it out against biblical justice. The exposure of hypocrisy and abuse within these institutions will either lead to their collapse or to a doubling down on dogma, as they cling to dwindling followers through the widespread indoctrination of fear and control. Expect a rise in movements advocating for secularism and spiritual independence, untethered from corrupt institutional power.

    7. Institutional Education
What: Universities, schools, and academic institutions are integral to how power and knowledge are distributed in society.

How: Pluto’s influence here reveals how education has been weaponised by corporate and political interests. Expect increasing control over curricula and research as globalist organisations seek to instil ideological conformity under the guise of progress (e.g., the WEF’s push for “skills-based” education driven by corporate needs rather than intellectual freedom). Simultaneously, continued public protests and academic dissent will push back against this, demanding reforms that prioritise critical thinking, freedom of expression, and the dismantling of elitist academic structures that serve corporate agendas.

    8. Media and Information Control
What: Media conglomerates and digital platforms have become the primary tools for shaping public perception and controlling narratives.

How: Pluto at 29º Capricorn brings the final battle over media control, exposing the insidious agendas of tech giants like Google, Facebook, X and TikTok as well as legacy media outlets controlled by globalist interests. Expect increased censorship, particularly around dissenting voices questioning global agendas (such as the insidious but well-hidden AIPAC’s influence on foreign policy or the WEF’s vision for global governance). Governments, under pressure from corporations, will try to impose stricter regulations on free speech. Despite this, a backlash also signals a moment of awakening, as alternative media grows and the public demands transparency. The power struggles over truth and information will reach a fever pitch.

    9. Social Hierarchies and Class Systems
What: The gap between the wealthy elite and the struggling masses has widened under neoliberal policies supported by global financial elites.

How: Pluto’s energy will explode class tensions, revealing the entrenched power structures that control wealth and labour. The WEF’s vision of a future where “you’ll own nothing, and be happy” embodies the globalist attempt to normalise economic inequality. However, this period could see revolutions and uprisings, as people reject the manipulative narratives pushed by the global elite. Governments will impose redistributive policies, while corporations scramble to retain their dominance through exploitation. The very structure of class and privilege is teetering on collapse, opening the door to radically new economic systems, socio-political models and more flattened class structure.

    10. Global Corporations and Transnational Power
What: Multinational corporations and transnational institutions have consolidated global power, shaping economies and policies through unseen hands.

How: Pluto at 29º Capricorn forces a final judgement day for organisations like the IMF, WTO, and global corporations that have hijacked sovereignty under the guise of “global cooperation.” Behind these institutions are ideologies that seek to centralise global control—pushing for a one-world government where national borders are meaningless. But this concentrated power will face a cavalcade of rebellions as governments begin imposing severe restrictions on global corporations and demand accountability for labour exploitation and environmental destruction. Expect a significant breakdown of monopolies and the rise of decentralised economic structures, as Pluto prepares for its Aquarian transformation, marking the end of centralised, unchecked corporate rule.

    Synopsis:
The pressure’s on. Pluto’s last hurrah through the anaretic degree of Capricorn spells more than a mere reckoning—it appoints ultimate judgment day for global powers entrenched in dominance and control, pushing them out of the shadows and into full light. Governments, corporations, and ideological regimes that have sought to consolidate overarching influence, bending the world to their vision of centralised authority, now stand exposed. From the overt hand of the WEF, IMF, and WHO to the shadowy tendrils of AIPAC, the CIA, FBI, NATO, and powerful corporate lobbies, no stone remains unturned. The clandestine machinations that have shaped global policy for decades, manipulating governments and economies in pursuit of hegemonic agendas, now face collapse. This is the moment where the great machinery of global supremacy meets its inevitable breakdown. The cracks in the façade of power widen, and resistance rises, insistent and unstoppable.

Transformation of the patriarchy is no longer a possibility—it becomes a certainty. Pluto’s shift into Aquarius signals the birth of a new era: decentralisation, innovation, and radical equality. Like it or not, the old world order is disintegrating, and in its place, something unprecedented and untamed emerges. The dawn of a new age is not near—it has arrived."
