Dr. Paul LaViolette's initial discovery explained the origin of our Sun's regular micronovas.
His findings trace a wave of intense energy that regularly originates from the Central Sun of our galaxy and eventually reaches every solar system as it proceeds outward from the center.
LaViolette had the physics of the galactic wave wrong, in my view.
LaViolette had this galactic wave as a sphere of intense energy, like an egg shell, expanding outward from the galactic core, as if something "exploded" big time in our core, and coming outward at near light speed. We wouldn't be able to see it coming until it was hitting us.
LaViolette did his work before the electromagnetic plasma physics, on a galactic scale, of the Electric Universe Theory (EU) was well developed. This limited his understanding, in my view.
The galactic current sheet as understood by many EU students, including Ben Davidson, is a fairly stable waving pair of magnetically formed plasma current sheets that spread out, always present, near the equatorial plane of the galaxy, while our solar system oscillates above and below that current sheet, on about a 12,000 year (half?) cycle and the 12,000 year micro-nova cycle happens each time our solar system cross this current sheet.
Our solar system's crossing of this galactic current sheet takes a few centuries to happen, and the effects on our solar system and planet can easily be seen decades before the climax.
