Reuters polls 12% more Democrats than Republicans to come up with a result of Hillary leading by 5%

‘Recent Gallop poll shows that there are only 3% more registered Democrats than registered Republicans.

Recent Reuters poll shows Clinton leading by 5%, however look closely how they came up with this conclusion.

They had 650 Democrats, 496 Republicans and 196 Independents..

So, in their survey 650 out of 1522 is 42.7%. We round it to 43%, that is the percentage of the people
polled who are Democrats. Further, 496 out of 1522 is 31%-are Republicans.

So Reuters has 12% more Democrats than Republicans in their survey, when they know that there are only 3%
more Democrats in the population. So, Reuters over-polled the Democrats by at least 9% and they are claiming
that Clinton is leading by 5%. This means that in reality Trump is leading by about 4%.’

Began in 2016, shortly before the election. It's fun to look back at these old threads to see how right/wrong we all were.

The OP makes the argument for rigged elections, something most of us can sympathize with; and yet...Donald Trump was elected president in 2016, and I think we can all safely assume he wasn't the Bilderberger candidate. Then we saw him lose in 2020, in what clearly appears to be a manipulated result.

So what gives?

I think the election - and the world in general - are alot more complex that most of us realize. There appear to be competing forces among these elite groups, with political ground being gained and lost in ways we can often only guess at.

The question I keep asking myself is this: If the election is so easily rigged, as most would suggest, why are they even bothering to harass Trump with all these lawsuits and so forth? If they've already got him beat, why all the theatre? The answer seems to be that, while certain strategies are definitely used to rig elections, the game isn't entirely fixed.

Or maybe they wanted to make sure they don't have to rig the elections by waging all the lawfare and propaganda against DT. There is always a risk that rigging does not work out entirely. Not sure how difficult or easy it will be for them but they will certainly do so now since all other methods so far failed (unless they really put him in jail now but even then he could get elected, even more?).

I would submit the game isn't entirely fixed if the game itself becomes so absurd and unbelievable as to snap the sleep walkers right out of trance. But to those rendered in suspended hypnosis, the game is anything but absurd and unbelievable. It is merely riddled with election deniers and conspiracy theorists.

Harassing and demonizing Trump foments division, hatred, and en masse creates a state of mass psychosis, or widespread TDS, which makes it almost psychologically impossible for those afflicted to wake the hell up. So "Goldsteining" Trump, as it were (to cite a 1984 reference) is perhaps the only way to keep the sleep walkers in trance. And it seems to me that is the reason they must continue the onslaught against Trump--even while they know full well what their algorithms will produce on November 5.

We've all heard the expression, "... anyone but Trump"; the same concept applies to "anything but Truth (if Truth trumps my misguided hatred for Trump)".

In other words, no one with the degree of programmed hatred for Trump will ever accept truth--even a truth in their best interests--thus keeping them in a suspended state of hypnosis that guarantees the success of the rigged election.

So in a sense, I think you're correct, the game isn't entirely fixed, but it does require continual stoking of hatred and a continual onslaught of demonizing Trump, IMO.

I'm concerned the activist and corrupt judge will sentence Trump on September 18. Call it the civil war card, if that's what they decide to play.

Yes, this may make Trump even more popular, but, IMO, this one historical event will completely shatter the system before the public even has a chance to transform its outrage to support.

Even if sentencing Trump to Riker's Island doesn't trigger an immediate civil war, there will certainly be genuine civil unrest--but most concerning--the political landscape will be plausibly rife for terrorizing false-flag attacks against government institutions/innocent Harris supporters--so horrifying to the public--it will ultimately pressure congress to evoke the 14th Amendment, Article 3, and formally disqualify Trump from being President, all in the name of saving the Republic.

How that goes over? I have no idea. The public, lawmakers, and military will either get in line with the will of its Overlords, or a faction will fight back, circa 1860 with the election of Abraham Lincoln.

In any case, if Trump goes to prison, we can be fairly sure there will be no election--or at the very least--a pause while new candidates are selected, all amid marital law and newly established draconian and unconstitutional measures silencing dissidents and ensuring law and order.

This is all speculation, of course, but, in my view, a fairly obvious outcome based on the current trajectory of events.

Bret Weinstein is a leftist intellectual. He is NOT a Trump enthusiast. That he, and others like him, are beginning to speak out about what is now obvious to many honest observers across the political spectrum is telling. It would seem more and more people are now beginning to see the current election cycle as a Kangaroo production regardless of who votes for whom on November 5.

In the discussion below, Weinstein suggests the intelligence agencies/media outlets will call the election per a preordained script, and I think he is exactly correct. It will be less messy and contentious if the script is credulous, but at this point, I don't think they care one way or the other. It is as if they no longer care if their fabrication of reality doesn't fool you; they only care to inform you who the next POTUS will be, and, more importantly, to demoralize with the message that there is absolutely nothing we plebs can do about it.

Of course this magic trick from Statist propagandists is nothing new. But given their much more blatant antics, which they seem content to no longer hide, many more people are now fully awake to it, as evidenced by commentary from mainstream intellectuals like Weinstein. What's more alarming, even as more and more people are on to the Harris coronation ritual (masquerading as an election) including prominent voices on the left who would prefer not to see President Trump back in office, the more people seem resigned to denial and/or to the shock of what is unfolding. Are we but relegated to just watch another rigged election happen?

There is 60 days or so before this all comes to a head. At this point, I see no shortage of understanding the problem, but little suggestion as to practicable and actionable solutions to divert the promise of a free and fair election away from veering off its rails and over a cliff.
