So there are a few Orthodox Jewish communities surrounding New York City. Many of them operate volunteer EMS (Amublance) services that are completely free of charge. I know this because my mother (who isn't Jewish) fell on a sidewalk and was taken to the hospital by one and it was completely free of charge (these days, that would save one over $1,000 dollars). All the people who work on the ambulances are volunteers.Posted by Tintin (here)
Hatzolah (hatzoloh) dispatch release on 9-11
Picked up on this earlier and am just placing it here as a piece of film that may be important, or not at all. Some commentators claim this hatzolah dispatch footage was recorded before the first incident at WTC1, others claim that it was recorded later on that day. I honestly don't have a clue who may be right there as this is the first time I've seen this and I've watched hundreds of videos around 9/11, and many more than once. I don't really know what to make of it to be honest. Is it important, at all? You be the judge.

Hatzolah operates several of these services and has one in Manhattan on the Lower East Side, about a 3 mile drive to the World Trade Center. To me this sounds like exactly the confusion that was experienced in the first hour or two after the towers were hit, when we knew something was wrong, but were not sure exactly what it was. At the end of the clip the dispatcher says "Unless PD [Police Department] will give you the okay ...", so this must come from a time where the Police was well aware of what was happening.
Unless there is a way to prove the time that this recording was made, I think it is a rational assumption that this video was taken after the planes hit the towers.
