Default What Is Your 'Unusual Experience' Story?

I have noticed other similar threads; I feel this one is different.

I thought this would be an interesting thread for people to share their own personal experiences - as related to the title. Feel free to post your story in 300 words (or less); as well, in 50 words (or less), feel free to share how your experience has (if at all) affected your life.

I understand limiting the words may be the challenging part; however, it will help keep the stories short as the thread grows. 350 words is just over one half page of text. No story is too minor or insignificant. Is it possible that everyone has a story!?

When sharing your story please give it a brief title; for example 'Seen UFO', 'Abduction', 'Loss of Time', 'Seen Ghost' and so on. The story should be firsthand, so the feel of the event can be captured as best as possible. As well, it will allow for direct questions for direct replies (using the quote option).

In a way, I have started this project by sharing an audio recording in the 'general thread' titled "What Is This Audio Recording'. I have also had brief discussions with others about more of my experiences, as well as hearing about their experiences - in PMs. The said posting was challenging for me, however I did it... and I hope others will share too.

The objective... to observe any common patterns of experiences people all around the world (within this forum) have had or are having. This may also help understand the 'global awakening' taking place; in addition, possibly aid others in not dismissing something that they may have experienced.

From this, a bond can be created with each other and a possible 'support group' created for those who want or need it. This will be 'in tune' with the interviews which Project Avalon (and Camelot) have done and continue to do - except, it is the group doing the 'interviewing' of each other.

Sharing experiences and knowledge is like sharing food at a meal... enjoy.

This could become quite an interesting thread. I've always enjoyed sitting around a fire, telling all the spooky stories I can recall. As I so often say, I've learned to embrace the bizarre in my life.

Here's an odd something that occurred way back when I was in grade school.

I was out back in the woods with a few of my cousins, playing alongside the river, when I realized we reached a particular bend that ran beside an old junkyard. I was quite fascinated with this area because it held old bikes, tractors, plates, bottles, and all sorts of unassorted things from "prehistory" a kid like me tended to be mesmerized by. We ended up walking over to the junk pit to see what "treasure" we could find. It was early summer, so we were all wearing sandal shoes, shorts, and T-shirts - the weather was far too warm to wear boots or protective clothing one would need if trekking through this junkyard.

Once there, we all began climbing about the trees, scoping the land for "treasure," and digging in the muddy ground. Amidst all the excitement, I noticed a figure roughly fifteen feet away. A man, wearing a thick flannel jacket, stocking hat, and gumboots was standing in the river. He wasn't moving, but instead, looking me directly in eyes. I knew, at that moment, we needed to get out of the junkyard and head homeward. It was an odd event, as the moment I began walking up the river bank and out of the wooded area, everyone followed. Once there, I looked back to where the man was, and no one was there. It would be impossible to enter or exit that particular area in less than five minutes without taking the path we used. He should have still been in the river at that point.

I was likely the only one to witness this man standing in the river - but I do find it odd, to this day, that everyone followed me out of the woods without hesitation. We were all immensely ecstatic about this place, and left it very calmly, without ever discussing why. Maybe they noticed the man, as well, or picked up on the general feeling he conveyed to me, quite unconsciously.

I feel that the man in the river was some sort of apparition with a goal of warning us out of the junkyard. In the event we would have stayed, I believe one of us would likely have been injured by the broken glass, rusted metal, barbed wire, or other dangerous items we found so interesting.

Childhood stories seem to have more impact then ones involving adults; probably because children are more vulnerable - in an innocent way.

Thank you for sharing your story. Just wondering, have you ever seen 'the man', who was in the river, again (anywhere); you answer 'no', are you sure?

I have a lifetime of stories; I will think of one I have not already shred here or in my book(s) and post it.

Default Re: What Is Your 'Unusual Experience' Story?

Here is a personal story not ever shared with anyone (in print or verbally); this is a Project Avalon Forum exclusive.

My mother and her husband (she was remarried) had bought this old Victorian house. We were the first family ever to live in the house that was not related to the original owners who built it.

The house had two staircases; one main (grand) by the front entrance and one in the back where the kitchen was. There were many 'weird' things that went on in that house; this one time I 'vaguely' remember. I dismissed it; looking back throughout my life I now wonder.

One day I was doing my own thing; as young teenagers usually do - I don't recall exactly what. My mother was alone on the main floor; standing close to the one inside door to the kitchen. I had walked up behind her and I startled her. She looked at me as if I was a ghost.

Being a young teen I didn't think much of it; I went to pass by her. She stood there and became 'agitated' and didn't move out of my way. She asked me how I went up the back staircase (across the kitchen from her) and ended up behind her almost in an instant. I asked what she was talking about.

She said, she was just speaking with me as I went up the back stairs; then I appeared 'behind' her. I asked her what she 'thought' she spoke to me about; I cannot recall what, if anything she said.

This alone may seem odd, possibly with explanation. However, others have said similar things regarding me. Over time, I began to question my own mind - maybe I was not recalling the 'event(s)' and others were. As I write these words now, I remember a thread just posted this evening titled 'Changing Time Lines'.

I recall many times remembering events or 'things' with great detail (at times, hours worth) and others have no recollection. I wonder if there is a connection or common theme.

Good question! I don't believe I have. I remember his face and features quite clearly, even from the distance between us. I don't think I've seen him anywhere, but then again, it's difficult to say that with full certainty - after all, he shouldn't have really been standing in the river in the first place

A lumber jack? Being it Michigan and all I wouldn't be suprised given the amount of timbering once done here....sorta fitting.

I thaught i would share a strange and somewhat embarrasing story.

Many years ago (i was about 19 i think) i was drinking tequila with a friend. This friend considered himself a 'pagan' though i would not have considered him as such. We spent the night discussing spiritual and esoteric matters.
My friend was a BIG drug user (and i myself smoked pot), though we had nothing that night except the tequila, and neither of us got particually drunk.
Anyway, i noticed a 'shadow' in the top corner of the room where there shouldn't have been a shadow, and i believe i mentioned it to my mate, and we discussed spiritual beings, demons etc. in some depth.
A few hours later i decided to go to bed (2am ish).. An hour or two later i 'woke' to find a humanoid entity in my room. This thing had no legs and floated around the room, nor did it seem to have ever HAD legs or genitals. It was dark brown / black and had a 'veiny' textured appearance. In other respects it appeared 'human'.
I was paralized, laying on my back, with my arms spread. I couldnt move, but didn't struggle to do so particually hard. I did not feel physically threatened by the entity, but was uncomfortable with its precence.
The 'entity' then proceded to lay atop me upside down, and perform fellatio on my flaccid member...UGH....
At this point i was well and truly over it, and subvocalised "In Jesus name be-gone" and it vanished, and i was freed from my paralisis. I do not consider myself a christian, and am not entirely sure why i chose to use the name of Jesus.

My friend was declared criminally insane and incarcerated within 1-2 years after this event, many others who know him declare him to be possesed, even those who have no intrest or experiance in this area.

I have no doubt that if not actualy possesed, it was his negative energy and openess to the occult that drew this entity.

    What did i learn?
    The power of a name.
Not to hang out with occult practitionars.
It confirmed the existance of 'spiritual' entitys for me.
that getting severely F***ed up on drugs, open you to negative forces.

I have been told that this entity is a form of 'Jinn' though i have failed to confirm this for myself.

    Anyway there it is.

OH that is cool (you're poor mother.) But I know of something of what you speak. Lacking a better word I called it the Doppelganger effect . Like a projection of yourself. Seeing a ghost of the living instead of the dead sorta. Just recently there was a man in a store asking about me because he sees me walking through there all the time. And he claims he spoke to me once, but during this time I had not been in the store at all. He described me to a tee and knew my name. Him being pretty sensitive I wondered if he had just picked up some sort of sense of me but he insists I was actually in the store. I have no idea why I'd project myself into a store but then you probably weren't consciously aware of projecting at your mother..So clearly this is not a phenom that is contained to when we are sleeping.

I had a ceiling collapse in my den one time so I was taking pictures with a digital camera for the insurance company. A few days later I uploaded them onto the camera to have a look at them. There was one picture of me sitting on the couch in the den reading a book. It was out of proportion like the couch was much larger or I was much smaller but it was clearly me, sitting on the couch amidst all the rubble reading a book. I thought the photo was weird, but i'm sorta on auto pilot, and it didn't really occur to me that it would be weird for me to be seated in a room full of dusty rubble reading a book but then I realized...even if I had been seated there....I was the one taking the pictures. One can't really take a photo of themselves like that. So how did that perfectly clear image of get there? Projection?

We need a fire and a couple of beers.....

Well, here I go. Ten years ago, I visited a meduim. I asked for things that from my childhood, were strange for me .I named synchronicities. When my mother talked about Franz Liszt, i always listened carefully, did not know why. I asked at the meeting with a medium - "synchronicities about Liszt" (i didn't say i was referring to the composer). I was shocked when she answered -"It was your father. Siline was your name , even if your mother wanted named you Nadia."

I knew there was no daughter of Liszt with the name Siline. In his later years, Liszt had a relationship with Carolyn Saynt-Wittgenstein. I looked for information, but nothing fit. Until I found a portrait of her, titled "Carolyn and Siline". Bingo!.
That's was "me" with my "mother".

    Great thread!

Thanks Daniel ( not siline )

Yeah that's creepy. Naa, don't be embarrassed. I'm glad you said something thought because people have these creepy ass experiences and an energetic violation is really no better than outright physical rape.It can be traumatizing and even worse when you dare not say it to anyone for fear of being viewed as crazy. There's another name for sexually intrusive energies...succubus and incubus..one indicates a male the other a female.

People that have deeply troubling emo issues sometimes go into dark occult studies for the wrong reasons and they attract that sort of stuff. It attaches to their troubled darker self which has a energy negatively magnetized so their naturally attractive to those sorts of energies. They may do it to reclaim a sense of lost power or give one's self a false sense of empowerment people will dabble with it. Not really the occult nature of it. Even people who claim to be light workers end up in those sorts of scenarios. Dabbling in deceptive energies. Dark light some people call it. Sorry you had to experience that but glad you did find a means to empower yourself within yourself...You ever know what happened to your possessed friend there?

You mean where is he now? he was released, hevily medicated.. F'd up on drugs is f'd up on drugs, pescribed or not, i don't have much time for people who cant handle there drugs.

He actually called in a couple of times recently.. On some occasions he seems ok, on others he still has a bad vibe. the dog agrees with my assesment. Not sure what to make of him these days really....

I'm sure Dale mentioned something about getting a few cases (of beer) for this group... yeah, I'm sort of... sure that's what he said.

After finding the portrait, did you continue searching for anything more (example, other persons related or names)?

This thread is awesome and a great idea!!

Ok, here's a weird thing that happened when I was a high school freshman.

I was a MAJOR nerdy, rule-following, goody-two-shoes type girl. So when I was accidentally late to my Health class after being held up talking to a teacher, I was FREAKING OUT. Oh, no!!! I worried. I was going to get in TROUBLE!!!!

I scurried through the halls, mysteriously managing to avoid the Assistant Principal who walked around bellowing HALL PASS!! to any stray student he met. Quickly, quickly, quickly, I hurried to get to the cafeteria where my health class sat along the long dining table. Strangely unnoticed, I slipped into my assigned seat, which had naturally been left empty for me...

...and my two girlfriends "continued" a conversation with me as if I'd been there all along. I looked at them strangely, asked them to repeat themselves. They referred to what they had "just been telling me," a few minutes ago! I said I'd JUST arrived less than thirty seconds ago-- that I was really late and surprised I hadn't gotten in trouble. "No you weren't late," my friend insisted. "You've been here since the beginning of class!" The other friend agreed: I'd been in my seat the whole time, and they'd been talking to me.

    ?????

    Shiney thread so why not

    *Dreams*

this is the only thing that mesa haf had "issues" with. ive seen UFO's ghosts and many other strange things, but those are different. even recorded a ufo, one of many ive seen.
    "uhm" https://youtube.com/user/slywinkl.../7/ANSNUtaBMa4

but yeah dreams "woke" me up. at early age the same dream kept comming up. me sitting on the hood of a car, and a oily like entity standing next to me, and we talk about everything. and i meens everything. this dream still is with me today. in early years when starting these dreams i would sleepwalk alot and far. and it would have a profound effect on my waking life in the case that i started getting Dejavu's. starting with a few each day, and escalating.
i would say this is my unusual experience.

on a side note this is around the time i would haf my first ufo sighting.

    thnk ye for thread

    namaste

I'm just wondering... how late did you 'think' you were (example, fifteen minutes or half the class)?

I have experienced many dreams that seem like movies and they seem to tell me of things that will happen in the future or have already happened. One dream many years ago really spooked me. I dreamed about my mother living in a white house up on a hill. The house seemed out in the woods away from other homes.

This was not at all where she really lived, but in the dream my mom called me and told me that she was scared that someone was peeking in her house. In reality, my mom slept on her couch in her living room because my dad had passed and she did not like sleeping in her bed alone.

In the dream I told her to crouch down and the person would not see her. I remember waking up feeling so afraid, I really felt scared. When I spoke to my mom later that night, I told her about my dream. She looked at me with her eyes wide open and she told me that last night she though someone was looking in her windows and she thought to herself if she hunkered down on her couch they could not see her. I believe that I felt her fear through my body and my mind picked up her thoughts. This is the absolute truth.

Is there a pattern to these events (example, specific time of day/night, time of month, location)? In addition, can you give more details about the 'oily like entity' (example, how it looked, smell, talked)?
