Sometimes they don't need to have Shawn Ryan under a paycheck or alliance of sorts. Maybe the guy is 100% legit and good willed.

But he is a hooman too. If he is fed wrong or agenda fueled information, he will go on with it.

Sort of like influencing the influencer.

I've been feeling like that for quite a while now. That 90% or so of all the "truthers" on the net are probably grifters, conspiracy is big bucks these days and there are very, very few folks that I still follow now. A sentiment that I also heard a few days ago from David J. Sorensen who is a Belgium guy. I think he can be a bit naive at times but I like him and watch his stuff from time to time....

I don't know, at times I can't seem to see the forest for the trees, this constant barrage of bad news, disasters, the sh... that's coming etc. etc. .... And I'm not even talking about all the stuff that is happening here in Indonesia, maybe I should do a post about some of that stuff, truly some unbelievable insane things happening here....

Brendon O'Connell is no one I'd rush to for advice about grifters and trouble makers. He ticks all my boxes for being a particularly toxic one himself, especially the latter. That's not to say Shawn Ryan is not a mess too, he obviously is.

My biggest issue with this kind of thing is that we the listeners are the problem. In general we are not very good at listening. Full locked-on narrative following as if someone has either got it all right or got it all wrong is beyond naïve now it's got to a point of addictive stupidity or maybe desperate clinging to phantom team membership/support perhaps based on self insecurity in our overwhelmed data processing capabilities.

A dire lack of awareness of the vertical dynamic, also, handicaps us just as drastically as a bottomed out magnesium level. When Richard Hoagland famously said "the lie is different at every level", as true and profound as it was, what he said was really only the tip of the iceberg. I suggest every one of us seriously and meditatively contemplate that statement "the lie is different at every level" on a regular daily basis. Expand it. Flip it. swap lie for truth even. Play with it like a mind toy. Even bring in a modest spirituality to it and apply the notion to that as well. Actually, especially do that.

We are, sorry egos, so dreadfully infantilized intellectually that having a mind toybox isn't as ridiculous as you might at first assume.

Thanks for your comment Norman. I like that you say "we" I stumbled upon Brendon O'Connell, oh, I think three years ago or so, and I enjoy watching him, specially when he goes on one of his temper tantrums again, very entertaining I also think his three part docu Rats In The Ranks was excellent stuff, really made me look more into the whole Belt And Road Initiative and a lot of what he says there makes sense to me, connected quite a few dots for me.... I don't always agree with his solutions and I can certainly see how he can be off-putting for some.... Compared to a lot of his fellow "truthers" he's in a pretty bad place, basically on the run, living in a very small place in Mexico and he doesn't have much of a following, his youtube videos get like 2, 3000 views on average, I think he's living off what he makes with his Patreon account but that can't be much.... Not as badly off as Jim Stone who, if what he is writing in the last few months is to be believed, is living under bridges, homeless in Mexico after having lost everything.....

I've watched some of Shawn Ryan's podcast and I remember liking what I saw, can't remember with who but I like his interview style, he doesn't interrupt, seems really interested and wanting to learn, I'll probably watch more of him if he has guests/topics that interest me.... Another special forces guy, like Michael Yon....

I do get what you are saying and it takes me back to the early 80's when, as a teenager I was involved with all these left wing activities, the Freedom for El Salvador, Yankee Go Home! demonstrations, riots fighting the police, the fights against Neo-Nazi skinheads, the endless meetings where it was almost always about egos, personal issues and almost never about the particular issues/goals of that moment, thinking, God, what a mess, wishing we could be as organized and disciplined as our adversaries....

I remember going to a huge meeting of the Dutch Communist Party back then, with some fellow Communist and Anarchist punks and all we saw was expensive suits talking about "revolution" , they really, really did not want us there, it was unreal, and I just left, not just that meeting but the whole "movement" so to say. Left the punk scene not long after that too but that had more to do with so many friends dying because of violence and hard-drugs, it was a time of much disillusion....

As far as contemporary conspiracy goes.... Like I said, there's A LOT of money in that business... I always liked what Robert Anton Wilson said about the subject. I take it that most of the folks here know what I mean. He basically, after some 25 years of studying it, came to the conclusion that there really wasn't one big conspiracy but rather many, many conspiracies going on all the time, since time immemorial, where these mafia type groups would sometimes work together and often would stab each other in the back because that's just what they do.... He's as relevant today as he was back then and sorely missed....

My personal feeling with Shawn Ryan and his Show is that he is still working for parts of the military industrial complex - it's a job.

That's my impression too. He might not even be aware of it though.

Mike Benz knows that of which he speaks. He’s very much worth a listen and coming to understand what he is saying. He’s been on top of many of the issues we are witnessing today as they percolate to the top of awareness before our very eyes and ears. Benz knows as much or more about USAID than most people except, perhaps, Musk et al.
