And here I was fuming for the last four years over the fact that Trump did not drain the swamp his first term. I guess some just want the corruption to continue forever. In a way it is a form of Stockholm Syndrome.


I cannot describe the amazing feeling of relief that the draining has begun in earnest.

Burn it all down! Sort it out after the fires die down.
Show the world how it is done so other countries can follow suit, which they will.

It's got a November 1989 feel about it.

Attorney General Pam Bondi on Wednesday ordered a freeze on federal funding to sanctuary cities after being sworn in to office the same day.

While on campaign, President Donald Trump had vowed to pull funding from cities that refused to cooperate with federal immigration authorities. Since taking office, he has pursued deportation efforts across the nation, including in sanctuary cities such as Chicago.

Bondi's funding freeze came amid a series of day one orders for the new attorney general, which also included a directive to clamp down on political weaponization within the agency, Fox News reported.

"Thank you, President Trump. I've known you for many, many years, and I will not let you down," she said at her swearing in. "I am truly honored, honored that you have asked me to take on this role, and I will make you proud, and I will make this country proud."

I actually had to talk down the security guard at my job tonight; he really thinks Trump is going to invade Canada!

The last decade has been like one big worldwide sociopolitical reality show, with Trump as the main star. We've all been exposed to him non-stop, 24 hrs a day. And it surprises me that some people really don't understand him by now. Or they do and pretend they don't. He's a dyed in the wool hyperbolist. It's pretty obvious by now when he's talking out of his ass and when he isn't. And it's pretty obvious why he's doing it in most cases. Yet quite a few seem to be missing the plot. And it's kind of amusing to watch them lose their sh!t over it!

Made me laugh. Yes, my own stance right now on everything in the current fast-forward news cycle is that I'm stepping back to wait and see what actually happens, rhetoric notwithstanding. (Trump has always been strong on rhetoric, let's never forget.) I strongly suspect the Russians and Chinese are taking exactly the same position of just watching carefully and waiting.

And a lot is currently happening, but there's also a great deal of 'noise', not only from Trump but from everyone around — including many in the alt media who are reacting to everything as fast as they can.

I saw something yesterday in a video and the person was saying that Trump doesn't, in reality, have 4 years - he has around 16 months... to get the job done - because who can predict what might happen in the midterm elections...either through voter ignorance or cheating -

So he has hit the road running and knows he has to get a massive amount done in a relatively short time - while Biden was wondering around in a daze thinking about his next ice~cream Trump was plotting and planning ... :-) ... team building...
