Classic Art episode on "shadow people" here. Begins with Art describing his own unnerving experience with this phenomena, then segues into his interview with researcher David Weatherly. Lots of cool and creepy anecdotes and info.

Perhaps the coolest thing about this video is the traffic cam, depicting a drive thru Texas in the night hours (begins briefly in daylight). Really adds to the experience. I was in a trance watching this last night - the good kind.

This phenomenon reminds me of the pain body as described by Eckhart Tolle.

It represents unresolved conflicts and traumas and sometimes manifests physically very briefly, as a shadow standing next to you. It is also related to what Rudolf Steiner calls Guardian of the Threshold or Doppelgaenger I think.

Likewise, there is the light or angel body, which represents unintegrated positive (higher) aspects of ourselves.

The (unredeemed) interaction of these bodies creates our present waking reality.

When you redeem and integrate them all, your consciousness will ascend to a higher level of reality.
