    Default Jack The Ripper

Jack the Ripper is the best known name given to an unidentified serial killer generally believed to have been active in the largely impoverished areas in and around the Whitechapel district of London in 1888. The name "Jack the Ripper" originated in a letter written by someone claiming to be the murderer that was disseminated in the media. The letter is widely believed to have been a hoax, and may have been written by journalists in an attempt to heighten interest in the story and increase their newspapers' circulation. The killer was called "the Whitechapel Murderer" as well as "Leather Apron" within the crime case files, as well as in contemporary journalistic accounts.

The identity was never discovered. What are yours opinions on this?

I thought that this website was a chronicle of awakening consciousness. I'm not sure if your question relates to this.

To share an opinion at this stage would be merely speculation, and you know what they say about opinions, everybody has one. However a speculating opinion is a horse of a different color,it could lead to undue anxiety with the uncertainty of what was fixing to pass where an opinion based in truth and reality would lead to assurance and a sense of security in things passing ,but what is life without a little mystery......

another spin on this: please do read Scotsman John Hamer's "The Falsification of History" in which he devotes an entire chapter on this subject; logic should tell us that anyone doing the 'ripping' had to have had an advanced knowledge of anatomy- like start with a doctor- why is the identity of Jack the Ripper sealed forever by the British secret services?- only one logical answer: has to do with the British Royals (Victorian era) and their family doctor Dr. Gull-

read the book; all the girls murdered were not random victims but were specifically targeted because they were trying to extort the British Royals (nice people- always have been, right?) because of what they knew (and wanted to make known) about an unwanted pregnancy out of wedlock from one of Victoria's nephews (if I recall correctly- but I may be wrong on the exact family connection)-

just read the book- it explains a lot-

    please stay well all-

    Larry

The mystery may finally be solved due to DNA from one item bought at an auction.

Book summary: After 125 years of theorizing and speculation regarding the identity of Jack the Ripper, Russell Edwards is in the unique position of owning the first physical evidence relating to the crimes to have emerged since 1888. This evidence is from one of the crime scenes, and has now been rigorously examined by some of the most highly-qualified forensic scientists in the country who have ascertained its true provenance. With the help of modern forensic techniques, Russell's ground-breaking discoveries provide conclusive answers to many of the most challenging mysterious surrounding the case.

Maybe Jack the Ripper's actions were designed to mark a point in time. Strangely, there was a 1979 time travel movie called Time After Time where the main character chased the killer through time. On page 30 of the book The Dulce Wars the Grays claim they created Jesus. Was he also some sort of time marker since we have BC & AD?

Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) has been used to clearly designate epoch by avoiding confusing references to local time systems (zones).

Royal Greenwich Observatory, astronomical observatory and, until its closure in 1998, the oldest scientific research institution in Great Britain. It was founded for navigational purposes in 1675 by King Charles II of England at Greenwich, and the astronomer in charge was given the title of astronomer royal.

Quote Londinium, the Roman settlement that is now modern-day London, lasted roughly from around 47 AD until the early 5th century. Malcolm McDowell starred in Time After Time and played the Roman emperor Caligula in another 1979 film.

    Year 999

In 999, London was struggling with famine, poor flour, and vitamin deficiencies.

These conditions led to blindness, goiter, paralysis, and bone malformations.

Many people were crippled or had hunched backs.

Men were lucky to live to age 30, and 50 was considered old age.

    Year 1111

Rebellion in Normandy: Robert of Shrewsbury led a rebellion against King Henry I in Normandy.

King Henry I's response: To quell the rebellion, Henry I initiated a military campaign in Normandy.

Wider context: This event falls within a time of political maneuvering and power struggles in England, with Henry I solidifying his rule.

    Year 1222

No major disasters or conflicts: Unlike the "Great Fire of London" in 1666, there are no known large-scale fires or major conflicts documented for 1222 London.

Building and development: During this era, London would have been experiencing continued construction and expansion, with new buildings being erected and infrastructure improvements taking place.

Political landscape: As part of the Kingdom of England, London's political climate would have been influenced by the decisions and actions of the reigning monarch, King Henry III.

    Year 1333

In 1333, the major event that occurred in relation to London was the aftermath of the Battle of Halidon Hill, where King Edward III of England decisively defeated Scottish forces near Berwick-upon-Tweed, effectively securing English control over the region and marking a significant moment in the Scottish Wars of Independence; this battle took place in July 1333, with repercussions felt throughout England, including London.

    Year 1444

Fire at Old St Paul's Cathedral: A major fire occurred at the Old St Paul's Cathedral.

    Year 1555

Queen Mary I revived England's heresy laws and began burning heretics at the stake in 1555.

John Rogers was the first of 284 Protestant martyrs to be killed during Queen Mary I's reign.

Within a week of Rogers' death, Laurence Saunders was killed in Coventry, and Rowland Taylor and John Hooper were killed in Suffolk and Gloucester.

Mary I was the first Queen Regnant, meaning she ruled in her own right rather than by marriage to a king.
She ruled from 1553 to 1558.

    Year 1666

The fire started on September 2, 1666 in a baker's shop on Pudding Lane.

The fire spread quickly down Pudding Lane, Fish Hill, and towards the River Thames.

The fire destroyed over 13,000 wooden houses, 87 churches, and St Paul's Cathedral.

The fire left almost 85% of London's population homeless.

The fire occurred shortly after the Great Plague of 1665.

    Year 1777

In 1777, London saw the premiere of The School for Scandal and the completion of the Trent and Mersey Canal. Meanwhile, the British were losing the American Revolution, with the surrender of 6,000 British troops at Saratoga in October 1777.

The motive was to start a race war in England.

Prime Minister Tony Blair's Labour Party implemented a peace agreement for Northern Ireland.

Legislative powers were devolved to Scotland and Wales.

The impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton concluded.

Those years are all related to British history which is a ridiculously tiny subset of human history and tiny subset of the now today’s planet life. Many more other countries in the worldnot taken into account here.

What is the use of being UK centric to determine earth turning points? You are not loiking large enough.
